He went above and beyond for my daughters wedding. He took time to know my budget, work with our preferences, made suggestions and personally delivered and served our catered meal. There is great leadership potential in Trevor. Job well done!
Yeah, we were in the the redemption area in the HyVee on S.E. 14th and Park and the manager walk in, said we had to leave the door was unlocked, their was other customers in there also turning in canscashing cans in like we were gonna do and the manager walked in & told us we had to leave the doors were unlocked and customers in there, he said we had to leave, that he was going to call the cops, we werent doing anything wrong, he left the came back and escorted us out and kept our cans, very, very rude& pushy. Thats not right what do we do! They should of had the doors locked! Very unhappy customers!!!!.

Lady that works the restaurant is Knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. She is the reason I come back when in town. Unfortunately HY VER corporate stopped serving hash browns so I will not be coming back until that changes.
After 3 years of shopping here I am Done with this company. Their Our House commercials have ruined Television for me entirely. This mockery of a classic song are so annoying I have to rush in anytime they come on to mute or change the channel.I just dont watch TV now.Its always on. Its on every channel. Its long.Its gross. This is a general observation about the once wonderful store in Mission, KS. There aren’t very many smiles in the isles there. Grumpy, inattentive, unhelpful are how I have consistently experienced that store over last several months. The stock has been spotty compared to most other competitors, so you can’t blame COVID anymore. They fail to honor advertised specials and when managers are asked about it, the response is usually pretty rude and condescending. I think your management team needs to be cleaned out. And last the self check out is not popular. Your competitors are doing better to keep people employed, especially people with special needs. Come on HyVee pay attention to this store and get it back to its once wonderful level. I only shop there for a limited few items and won’t do my major shopping there until I notice positive improvement.
HelloI went hy_vee in cedar rapids IA Edgewood Rd . Vaccine for my Daughter they told they didnt have Stock even though they had stock. Same place I went this morning I went and asked about vaccine they have enough in stock. I took my daughter after school they didnt have it. I called headquarters and talked to customer realtion she put on hold and called store to find out about stock. I was their at 2:45 pm and the lady from headquarters tells they didnt have in stock at time. They stock at 3 pm its Strange.
We shop at the Waterloo Flammang store and I cannot say enough good about your curbside pickup. My order is always very accurate and delivered to my car within a matter of minutes even when the pickup is extremely busy. I sincerely hope you will continue this service indefinitely.
I went and got fuel on a Friday paid for it the next day I receive a $75 hold on my card, they tell me there’s nothing they can do about it and the hold is for seven days. I put $31 of fuel in my vehicle and now I basically paid $106 for fuel for a week, until they release this hold. What sense does it make to put a hold on my card the day after I already got fuel, and paid for it the day before? I will never shop Hy-Vee ever again.
WALKED to the HyVee store to purchase food for dinner and a bottle.Well I could buy the food but because I did not have my drivers license, I could not purchase the wine. I’m 64! I get the reason for the drivers licenses but for an older person.I called corporate while still in the store to ask why the managers cannot over-ride the rule, I’ve been shopping there for years, and the customer service person said, “yes, the manager can over-ride needing to see my drivers license but I need to have my drivers license for him to over-ride it. Even though 65yo & older are having difficulty getting scheduled for Covid Vaccine, Hy-Vee chooses to allow the next group to schedule appointments.The Iowa Dept of Health is Not opening up the next group.DO THE RIGHT THING. Walked into on of your hyvee gas stations and customer refused to wear a mask and was then told by an employee that because the customer said he was vaccinated he wasnt required to wear a mask. either refuse service or stop telling customers you support mask wearing.
My local Hy-Vee Drugstore only has self-checkouts (except in the pharmacy). UGH!!! Both times Ive been to this store since getting self-checkout, the associate has had to swipe her key card numerous times for me--i.e. an item that did not ring the sale price, the register didnt sense that I had put the item in the bag and refused to allow me to ring up any other item until an associate confirmed that I had put the item in the bag, problems ringing up produce, etc. Your self-check out stations are not user friendly, and waiting for your associates to get to my register is too time-consuming when they have to move to three or four registers before finally getting to me. From now on, I will NOT shop at your Hy-Vee Drugstores unless I need a prescription filled. In 2020, I only needed one prescription filled. That should tell you a lot!!
I see too many customers not waring masks in your stores. I asked an associate and was told that masks are required for customers but they have no way to enforce it. Truly sad that you don’t care about public health matters and only care about making money especially with your ridiculous prices and long lines. Won’t be back ever

This is not the first time in your failures in running specials, knowing that there is not enough supply, but make it so customers still come in and hunt around like an Easter egg hunt!! It is time that customers voice and show their disappointment and disapproval of your bait tactics and take their business to other outlets!!I am definitely going to make aware of your tactics to one of the suppliers who pays a lot of money to have their products in your store and advertising costs!! Just watch Hy-Vees deli department cater to their office staff then watch them waste over 300 lb of fresh hot food when I suggested to the deli manager they take it to a homeless shelter nearby they said nope they were going to throw it all in the garbage that is absolutely disgusting and I will never shop at hyvee again
This morning I went into your gas station in Shakopee MN. Normally I pay at the pump. There was a sign on the pump that said, pay inside and get $5 off of an Elite car wash.I proceeded with the plan to pay inside.So when I went in to pay, I was told that the registers were not allowing car wash sales. Why not then, remove the sign from the pump. Kind of a waste of everyones time, really!Three people working, one person ringing people up and long lines is why I prefer to pay at the pump.If you want people to come in to your gas station, perhaps do what you say you are doing and be welcoming. HOLIDAY HAS MASTERED THIS!!!
Your Sycamore Illinois store is non-compliant with the current Illinois mask mandate which is still in effect. Your manager Robin told me that the employees are required to wear them but customers are not. As she was telling me I was listening to the intercom say that masks are required for all by Illinois mandate. Im glad you protect your employees, you should have also protected your customers. Meijer will be opening down the street in less than a month and they are compliant. Guess where Ill be shopping? Where they care if I live or die.I notice nothing has been addressed. Just got a phone call from a lady at this corporate office. I dont know her name but what I do know is that she sounded annoyed and snobby. I asked a question to customer care about how long it should take for a refund to go through, I asked the lady on the phone the same question... and with an annoyed tone she said I dont handle refunds. THAT WASNT WHAT I ASKED!!!!!! I wasnt asking for her to give me money back. I asked how long. Hyvee as a whole is filled with rude and snotty people. Shop at Target instead.

I have been a regular at the Market Grill for years. I eat breakfast there at least four times a week but it appears they are closing it because their customers want something different. I wander who they talked to but it obviously wasnt me and its not like they didnt have many chances. No worries, Ill find another place but it definitely. wont be Walhbergers
HyVee is our closest grocery store and we frequent it almost daily. My family will no longer be shopping at Hy-Vee and will be boycotting this store until they require patrons to wear face masks to do their part i protecting the public from COVID-19. Very disappointed with their position on this.
This is the 3rd time I have ordered and not gotten my full order so therefore I dont get the gas deals. I also said I would pick it up between 10;00 and 11:00 am . I got there at 10:10 and waited 40 minutes to get my order which was not all brought out at once. When I finally got it. It was only part of the order then I had to wait another 20 minutes for the rest of it. When I got home I realized the oil had leaked out into my bag. Not very happy with HyVee right now.

Called again, waited on hold for more than 10 minutes. Couldnt wait any longer.So, I called again. The girl didnt know anything. She asked, if this was an online order I stated NO. She finally asked someone else. No one could tell me anything. Management, should of took over. This didnt happen. Over a week ago I contacted corporate. Spoke to Media relations. I explained that medically compromised individuals cannot access their online order capability for pickup. I was assurred they were working on it. Compromised or not, I must go in as they are permanently unavailable to schedule on line.
Ad prices were not honored on Aisles Online. I placed an Aisles Online order on Sunday for pickup 6-7pm Monday. I went to the store to pick it up at 6pm and told it wasnt ready and would not be ready that day. It was still not ready the next day. Finally, 3 days later, it was ready. But by then none of the advertised prices were honored because the of the delay in filling the order.
Maybe if you didn’t spend millions of dollars on Ads for the Super Bowl you wouldn’t have to lay off so many people in the eastern Iowa area. That’s really sad Wal-Mart...I mean HyVee. Use to be a great company.

Before the covid virus Charmin mega roll pack was 23.86. Then during the hardest week of the lock down when nothing could be found anywhere, Hyvee raised the price to 25.96. This is when they were on TV bragging about there concern for the people who were hurting.

Hy vee pharmacy. called the automated line to refill prescription when asked if pickup time was ok I left a message asking that it be delivered on their normal delivery day. Did not get it delivered. Called them and asked where it was. said it wasnt marked as delivery. S as Id cantlieave message on automated system then why have it. Will probably switch because this isnt ty he first time its happened
I love working at HyVee.My managers are great, my co-workers are great, and we have some great customers too.It isnt perfect, but despite its faults, it is still a great place to work.

Hy-Vee Corporate has lost touch with their customer base. They doubled the Aisles delivery fee, penalizing anyone on limited income (disabled, elderly, house-bound, etc.) and have up til now been ignoring the complaints and concerns of not only customers, but store staff, as well. Hy-Vee used to be a friendly neighborhood grocery store that prided itself on hiring and training employees to be kind, compassionate, and helpful, however the corporate office has now shown its disdain towards the low-income customers who make up a large percentage of the companys annual profits. This is deplorable, and people are currently showing their disgust by withholding their money and seeking delivery options elsewhere.Congratulations, Hy-Vee corporate officers. You have successfully ruined the good reputation of a once-great business. But dont take my word for it, just check the sales numbers from stores located in lower-income areas, between the inception date of your new Aisles policy and now.EDIT:After their previous actions against customers, Hy-Vee corporate officers have doubled down and decided to get rid of Aisles deliveries entirely, instead relying on Doordash to deliver groceries to their customers. One major change from this decision is the delivery fee, which is now $8.75 for the three-mile area around a store, and an extra $0.70 for each mile beyond that. This will make deliveries outside the 4-mile range more expensive than they were, previously.This is yet another greed-based decision adopted by the corporate heads of Hy-Vee, one that will cause nothing but trouble for lower-income people, disabled people, and elderly people. It seems like Hy-Vee corporate has simply given up on having a thriving business, with this newest decision to alienate more of their customer base based on their mobility and income. These corporate heads should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves for targeting their most vulnerable customers.They lost me as a customer. For life.
As someone who brings product in.. The Quad City area west Kimberly store-zac and crystal are the mgrs. And rockingham rd where Stephanie and David are managers in particular. These have to be some of the rudest people I have ever came across. I dont know how you train these employees but they need to go back cuz how they are doing it now is not working! I will Never recommend these stores to anyone!!!

They do not support the LGBTQI community Employees are harassed, and nothing is done about it. Store level management doesnt do anything, and when complaints are made to corporate level, theyre also ignored. I used to like Hy-Vee. But knowing how they treat their employees, I will avoid them as much as possible. They say they treat employees like family. I guess its only if youre not in the LGBTQI community.

I have had nothing but bad service from 2 Hy Vee stores now. Johnston and Urbandale. They smash your food when bagging. Heavy stuff with the light. Pharmacy is a joke. Problems with both store. Took in a discount coupon. They tried to charge me 4 times higher prices than the coupon price. Then Would not fill one time because they said store policy would not fill until 3 days after refile date on script.. Said you have to make a special trip back to buy it. Im Done with Hy-Vee..

It was a week ago early Sunday morning. I needed flour. I went there Hyvee on Grand. There was a older gentleman in front of me who was buying Gatorade that was on sale. He told them the price it was marked at when it rang up diffrent at the register. Rocky said it may have been a 2day sale its not ringing up that way now. He called for the night manager Clancy. Who pulled the sign on his way to register and gave the guy a discount. Gentleman said if its marked wrong isnt it free? Clancy told him I gave you a discount. The guy pays turns to me and says this is why I shop Fareway they are nice and dont do this to you. The guy starts to walk away gets about 3feet away Clancy the manager says... I was about ready to tell him his money isnt any good here. If I didnt need the flour I would have walked out. Some great customer service there ... Pull the tape footage. A week ago Sunday. . Early morning you will see it all...

Listen, we used Michael Clark, from Ankeny Hy Vee, for a catering event in Ankeny Iowa -- and bacon is bacon, eggs are eggs, and OJ, is OJ -- But this guy, Michael, made it all taste better. Hats off, to this guy who went above and beyond to make our experience, memorable.

I have been a lifelong customer of HY VEE on East Euclid. I still remember walking in the back door on the store located across the street and smelling the donuts being made right in the window of the Cafe. It used to be Helpful Smile In Every AisleHowever, Hy-Vee as changed.... Gone is the local grocery store with friendly staff and outstanding customer service. Gone is the Helpful Smile In Every Aisle. Gone are genuine care and concern for helping customers and it has been replaced with corporate greed.I was in the store the last week in March 2018. I was looking for some water that was on sale. The shelf was empty and the store director Mike Kueny was on the phone at the end of the aisle. So I approached him to ask if there was any more of this water available. He paged a coke representative to the aisle. I waited 15 mins and no one came to help me. So I went up to check out. I was asked if I found everything today. I said NO I asked your store director for help and I waited 15 min and no one showed up. She said sorry and there was nothing she could do because he is the boss and I cant really tell my boss what to do. I said no problem and I vowed to never return.Unfortunately, I went back last 4/4/2018 to buy some groceries for my best friends family due to a death in the family. I went to buy a Hormel Cure 81 ham. I went to the meat department to ask if there were any more hams in the store because there was none on the shelves. The hourly employee in the meat department didnt seem to know where to look and was more interested in filling meat orders for people at the counter than helping me. So I was continuing my shopping when I came across Larry Zahm. I asked him if you had anymore Cure 81 Hams or any ham period? He said let me go check. I again waited 15 minutes at the entrance to the back room next to the meat department. No One ever showed up. So I proceeded to the front of the store to leave and purchase my groceries elsewhere. As I am leaving Larry Zahm was standing in the front of the store. I approached him and he just looked at me. I said I waited 15 minutes for you by the warehouse. He said, Oh yeah we dont have any! No apology or anything! I asked to get a phone number to the corporate office and he said why? I said cause I need to let someone know how you are treating your customers. Making me feel as if I was a burden on his job he started saying all kinds of excuses like well your not the only customer here, I also have employees to handle and other situations that arise.Hy-Vee will not see one more dime from me or my family! No One I mean no one should be treated like that especially after you address the situation to the manager on duty. I will make sure I share my experience with everyone I meet. Its time this cooperation starts respecting why they are in business!
Just found out they are doing corporate restructuring a.k.a. firing employees that have served Hy-vee for over 30 years. Despicable. I will never shop there again and hope they get sued.

He kisses managements butts and takes credit for the work the employees do. I had never been so disrespected and talked down to by any other manager. Been trying to buy hamburger that was 1.88 for two weeks now . Been in chillicothe mo. store 4 times still none and the older lady at service desks very rude last night when I ask her about it .. she said they get meat mon..wed fri . So here I am at 730 in the morning to get and .nope none but 3 pound rolls ..done.. please place a sign up if u cant get ...not trying to get anyone in trouble ..just would like to get what you have in the ads...not out same day and still a week later ..
So have been a loyal customer for several years to this company and its the only place I buy my groceries and gas. I go out of my way to be loyal and drive 60 miles one way to the St. Joseph location and I also use there gas station for 90 percent of the time to fuel up. However I am not longer going to do so because they do not have the same loyalty. My car was damaged by one of there employees and are not taking responsibility for this. I had to pay a few hundred dollars to have it fixed and have contacted them every day to try to be compensated for this and im told every day some will get back to me with in 24 hrs and never get a reply. So know I am in contact with a lawyer to solve this problem. I spend at least $800 in the grocery store and another$250 to $300 in the gas station every month. I cant believe that they know there employee damaged my vehicle its on tape and I have the mngr. Recorded saying his employee is at fault but refuse to refund my money for the fix. So Ill take my business to Wal-Mart and cut ties after I get threw with my law suit with this company. Customer service has been a joke and the mngr. Jake Heston of the St. Joseph location should be checked by the upper management. Jake was very rude and un professional on the phone. I hope this company really does some adjustments and realize that they cannot treat people like they did me and wish they would correct the wrong in my situation.
Return policy stinks!!! HyVee makes the customer run around town to the store they bought the item from... even with a receipt!!!! NOT good customer service HyVee and you are the ONLY STORE that does this. The Regional Manager needs to discuss this with the Store Managers. Several other stores to shop at with lower prices.....

Terricfic staff who are personable and helpful. My favorite store is Boone and then West Ames. I like the set up and selection of the store with prescription drugs and yesterday the Express Clinic scooped my son for a sports physical so he could get to preseason practices. Way to go Hy-Vee! Boone store has best customer service and I only wish their store were much bigger with full selections like Ames.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever received was from the Mills Civic Hy-vee manager Tyler cline I asked for his last name because I was so upset at and what I overheard him talking to another employee he was saying racial slurs and making fun of people with mental disabilities all I wanted was a late-night dessert and I go there hearing nothing but profanity my daughter has autism i confronted him and asked for his name i was upset that man should be terminated never going back to that to that store ever

Update 12/28/20The Hy-Vee store in Marion IA has undergone major league changes in all areas. I am once again proud to call this my got to Hy-Vee store. I know of one individual store employee/ manager that is helped change the culture in this store by the name of Diane. She has brought back the friendly smile in every aile and is always working to make sure this store is top notch.
