We ordered something online. Go there to pick it up its not ready its going to take half an hour to get it ready to help starts making excuses about how if its after 5:00 its the next day before you can get stuff and just totally contradicted what the website said. Ive been in customer service for years if you have a problem own it!!!Dont blame the customer!!Dont have policies set up to inhibit proper customer service.That lessons was addressed to the upper management. Make sure you know whats going on in your stores and make sure you know if your policies are helping or hurting customer service.

This jc penny is no longer open but I loved it when it was. Clothes were expensive unless on sale or on clearance and that was usually all of the time. I miss this store. I think theres another at valley west. I may have to look into it. I wish theyd bring back several stores. Thanks for looking!

Just went to their photography studio. The guy working was awesome. Lots of patience, ideas and quick session.

I also find good deals in store & online for clothes for my girls. Staff were really nice my last visit.

Store is clean and well organized, but it seemed like their inventory is way down. Its one of the few places you can go to find kitchen curtains but in the end you may find yourself wasting a trip to see them in person as they dont carry a full inventory. JCPennys seems to be fading a bit as all big box retailers are.

JCP has been a favorite of mine since 1988...all the staff i encountered were very nice and helpful...wish there was a coupon to use 😊

I will never shop at jcp ever again. I made an order online and selected ship to store. I received a notification that my item was delivered to the store 12/18/20 at 11:30 am. So I’m out shopping Saturday 12/19/20 and I decide to stop by to pick my order up. I get the excuse that my item was delivered but not checked in. And I was asked to wait like 30 minutes. So I go into the mall to shop for a bit. I return m, this time a different employee. I walk up and I’m told the same think to wait another 30 minutes. This time I just wait right there. As I’m waiting I call into customer service to verify that my package was indeed delivered to the store. The customer service rep. Verified that my package was delivered to the store. After 30 minutes. I go back up to the counter. And this time I’m told my package is not there and I need to wait until it’s delivered. I explain to this employee that customer service has verified that my package was delivered the day before. He says that they are lying. Needless to say I left the store. But just a mere few hours later I get another notification that my items are ready.

Good place to shop hopefully they will find a new location when the mall renovate the mall. Des Moines needs a Pennys store!!

Horrible curbside pickup service. I checked in using their app. I was the only curbside customer. After 20 minutes, I called the store and was told to continue waiting. After 30 minutes, I went inside, only to find no other customers waiting for pick up. The attendant was unapologetic. Im left to assume she was simply too lazy to bring the order to my car. I thought Id give business to a brick and mortar store, rather than Amazon, but with this level of service, I wont make that mistake again. What a disappointing experience.

For the love of God please visit JCPenney and by doing so help to fight the retail apocalypse that is gripping this country. There is a large selection of many different goods (you know what Penneys has, I dont need to tell you) so just visit and find something and support the people who work there. Their prices are not that much different than Amazon so get off your rear and get over there.

My kind of store when shopping.

All Penneys have a good selection of decent-quality merchandise. They keep changing the arrangement of goods and departments in particular store, and it always results in things being laid out in a non-sensical manner, unlike other Penneys Ive been to. Employees are competent and friendly, but this store is always understaffed. Store is clean and well-lit. Good parking right outside the east and west doors.

Today I stopped for a wedding shower gift! Annie was the salesperson who greeted me at the register with a beautiful smile and asked how I was! She did at least 2 up sales and did her job well! She continued her smile and sweet spirit throughout the transaction. At the end she looked me in the eye thanked me and told me to have a nice day with a huge smile! Now thats customer service! I chatted on the phone with a manager to let her know because Im sure they hear plenty of negative! Time for some positive!This young lady deserves more than a pat on the back!

A very helpful lady near the door led me to the right department, then helped me find the proper size for me. It took longer to charge my purchase than it did to select the ones I needed. Very pleased with my purchase.!

JCP is my go-to. Have been a fan for years, great quality, good selection, prices always reasonable. Very deserving of five stars.

The store is very nice and the employees were very helpful. I was there for several hours replacing a lot of items lost during flooding and several times I had employees chatting with me just to be kind and making sure I found everything I needed. I also appreciate that they are working with flooded impacted families they are one of the very few stores that are willing to do so and it makes it a lot easier thank you so much.

Theyre doing their best with the Covid-19 crazy. Selection was good, staff were helpful, when you could find them.

The cashier Carol is an amazing worker. Always goes above and beyond. I tried to leave a review on their website but couldn’t even find the survey. It needs to be better organized so workers like Carol can get the praise they deserve.

John in the photo center was amazing! We ended up there for family photos not realizing we went to the wrong photo center and he fit us in anyway and got my daughter to smile! The pictures are beautiful and my family had a blast!

We came for the photos and the rest of the store is great too. The clothing selection is trendy and stylish while being reasonable on the wallet. Sales are pretty frequent and the staff is pretty helpful.

It was a great experience. The cashier gave me information that made it so i was able to get both dresses i wanted. Then the asst manager told me the employees can help u do online orders.

I was needing to find a dress for my daughters wedding. I was extremely thrilled to find a huge variety of dresses to choose from that were very reasonably priced. Even my husband was impressed with the dresses I tried on and what good prices they were! Would shop here again!

Lots of nice looking fall and winter clothes. I was surprised how well stocked the store was with clothing considering the remodel theyve done. Appliances have been added plus sheets, towels and other bedding has been brought back from their other store. Drapes, curtains and furniture have returned too. The whole store seemed well stocked for the up-coming holiday season, but I was mostly interested in the womens clothes, of course!

Love this place

Ive always lived Penneys for their selection and prices. Always find some nice stuff that are a % off the price. Remodeled the store and a little bit harder to find items, but overall the store looks nice. They have a new service where they will hang your drapes and window treatments for you. It costs, but its worth not having to try and find someone. I got some nice things to take on a trip.

Its a real easy place to shop. The staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of clothes to choose from at prices less than on line. Fitting rooms so you know how the clothes fit.. the only drawback .. you have to leave your house...

Its crazy. Several years ago this was easily one of my favorite department stores. Now, I rarely go anymore. Prices seem high, and selections not really what Im into.

They hardly have anything looking for jeans and they only had size 6 and 20 wheres the in between sizes. You can get it if you want to wait 8 days. But if youre like mr when I shop its cuz I want it now.

It seems like they are really trying to recapture their place in the retail landscape. The selection is good and it seems like everything is on sale. The prices seem very competitive.

Absolutely magnificent! Staff was the best ever! They helped get stuff we needed, made good suggestions for future purchases. Couldve gone somewhere else, but well continue going to penneys. No doubts.

Great place! People are warm and friendly! I got a great moisturizer from Sephora, and the JCPenney staff is always asking if I need help. I would recommend this store any day of the week! Theyve got plenty to choose from, and theyre always trying to find ways to save me money!

Went to the home goods area looking for bath mats. Very poor selection available. It was much nicer when there was a separate store. Used to buy quality things from here but probably wont be able to much longer.
