Design consultant Megan Clemen has been a indispensable in helping us in redesigning our family room, from her knowledge of the available options with each piece of furniture, to her care and patience in helping us in choose fabrics, colors, patterns and textures, she helped us create the perfect personal space to relax and entertain. Megan has kept us updated on the timing of production with each piece of furniture ordered and has followed up to make sure everything was fine upon delivery. We appreciate Megan’s professionalism and personal touch as a designer.

Rose was very helpful! She really did go above and beyond for me. My purchases were kind of a drawn out process. She was patient and not pushy. Her responses were prompt and thorough. Making decisions about furniture is difficult for me. I cannot wait to see it all in my home! Thanks, Rose! We’re not done yet!

We purchased Ethan Allen living room pieces before kids over 30 years ago, and, now that we are empty nesters, we returned to EA seeking comfortable, quality furniture we knew will last for years to come. Carolyn Johnson, Design Consultant from the West Des Moines, IA location, helped us select the perfect pieces and fabrics for our oversized great room and dining room. We were concerned with the scale of the space in relation to the size of a sectional and other pieces that would work with it. Carolyn used the actual room measurements with the EA room/furniture software, and presented us fabric and room options we may not have otherwise considered. We especially appreciated how she listened to our thoughts and concerns every step of the way, yet she was not hesitant to offer her opinion if asked. After the sale agreement was made, communication with Carolyn was prompt, and she reached out to us and made the extra effort to keep us informed of the eta of the delivery throughout our wait. We are VERY happy with our furniture, and highly recommend Carolyn Johnson and Ethan Allen.

Carolyn at Ethan Allen was wonderful!! We recently moved into newly built home. We needed window treatments for all of our windows. Carolyn assisted me with selecting the Hunter Douglas window shades. There was a window in the kitchen that I originally had not planned on getting a shade, but Carolyn suggested I get one, as the window faces the West and we would most likely get the late afternoon sun. She was absolutely correct!! I was so glad she recommended I get it. I have been shopping at Ethan Allen for many years and I will definitely be going back!

Rose was so helpful in helping us pick out our new bed! This was a rather large purchase for us since our current headboard was purchased at an auction over a decade ago. With a new, larger mattress we had dreams of a beautiful bed to put it on. While there were not sleigh beds on display in store, Rose took the time to show us every wood finish in person. She took the time to listen to us describe out home/style to evaluate what we wanted. She made purchasing bedroom furniture an experience! While we have to wait for our new bed to arrive (something we fully expected as quality is worth waiting for) we are fully confident it will be a bed we love and will most likely be the last one we purchase!

Actually, my starred rating is a bit inaccurate, since we experienced superior service from staff at our local West Des Moines, IA, store, but had considerably less satisfactory experiences with the delivery side. Heres our story:A week before delivery (and after having been notified by Rose, the designer who worked with us in the purchase and ordering phase, that all of our purchased items, except for one piece, had been received at the warehouse), my husband talked with the manager of the Kansas City warehouse, the location from which our furniture would be delivered. He talked with Eric, the manager, about each piece and was assured that theyd all be delivered the following week.However, when the delivery people arrived at our house, they had only two nightstands, an art piece, and a side table. Missing were the platform bed/headboard and a double dresser. They had paperwork for the dresser but discovered that it had not been loaded on the truck. They had no information about the missing bed.We were quite disappointed, of course, and discussed the situation with Joni, the manager of the West Des Moines store, and Eric, the warehouse manager. They assured us that the remaining items would be delivered the next week. They were, but more difficulties ensued. The bed had some sort of manufacturing error so that the frame couldnt be attached to the headboard. And the dresser had a small gouge on one of the bottom drawers. The delivery staff told us that we could send the defective bed back to Kansas City or try to get a technician to fix it.We chose the latter option and then spoke with Joni, the store manager, who was very empathetic. The following Monday she and Amy, the designer who does the visuals for the West Des Moines store, came to our house to deal with the situation. Amy had obviously done her homework ahead of time, arriving with a plan and a big toolbox. She spent about an hour working on the bed and was able to solve the problem. Joni, in turn, arranged to have one of her staff repair the gouge on the dresser drawer so all is well at our house, as we await the final item weve purchased (a tall dresser that weve been told will arrive in December).At every point in this process, which began in June, we have had positive experiences with Joni, Amy, and Rose at the West Des Moines store. They have been professional and efficient, and have been terrific communicators, demonstrating concern about our order and a dedication to solving the cascading problems we experienced. They deserve a 5-star rating.On the other hand, we have been disappointed by the consistent difficulties on the delivery side. Having invested a great deal of money in fine Ethan Allen furniture, we were expecting higher quality service. That side of the purchase-to-acquisition process deserves only a 2-star rating.We love our new furniture and enjoyed our contacts with the local Ethan Allen staff. Were hopeful that Ethan Allens corporate gurus can straighten out the sort of problems weve experienced regarding manufacturing defects and delivery challenges.

Ethan Allen service is extraordinary. They always stand by their products.The crew at Ethan Allen are very professional and help you clarify your questions and doubts. It is expensive but worth the price, it reflects in the craftsmanship and remember you always pay for what you get. The white glove service is exceptional.

Megan Clemen was great - super helpful in providing options during the selection process and invaluable in making sure everything would fit the space. Product is great but the support was also why we went with EA. Delivery was substandard, but I would still 100% buy from EA again and cannot recommend Megan enough.

Our consultant, Rose Hanson, guided us in downsizing by developing a new room arrangement plan and picking out furniture styles and fabric that made our new home sparkle. She was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. You cant go wrong by shopping at Ethan Allen and working with Rose.

Bobbi was a wonderful salesperson to work with. She listened to my concerns regarding furniture fitting in my family and living rooms and gave helpful suggestions to make it a very successful experience. I ordered a leather recliner and 2 swivel chairs. I cant wait to receive them! I am very pleased with how well Bobbi knew her stuff and led me to the perfect furniture for my home! I feel she went above and beyond what most salespeople would do! Thank you!

We were extremely pleased with our shopping and purchases at Ethan Allen in West Des Moines. Our designer Kristen did a wonderful job assisting us with the proper selections to meet our needs in our home. We purchased two upholstered swivel barrel chairs and an entertainment set that we used as office furniture. She came to our home with fabrics, took measurements and provided computer images of the items in our home. Outstanding!Carolyn arrived with the delivery and helped place the items in the proper locations. And she assisted with locating some discontinued fabric that we needed for a pillow cover.We are very pleased with this Ethan Allen experience. I have been shopping at Ethan Allen since the early 80s. Its always been good and we like decorating our home with pieces that have enduring beauty and lasting quality and have a timeless tradition to them.

Very nice staff. I love the free design service included. Sales person even offered to stop by the house to see what furniture would fit prior to buying. Furniture seems to be the best quality, but is a bit on the expensive side.
