I have been a loyal customer of this company for more than 20 years but, I will never buy anything from this company again. I purchased a TV stand and mattress last week and it hasn’t even been delivered. Yesterday, I wanted to exchange the TV stand for a larger one or receive a refund for the TV stand. I was told that once I paid for the item it belonged to me and it could not be returned or exchanged even though it was sitting in their warehouse. I had already picked out other furniture and was going to stop by their store on yesterday and pay for it to have delivered. That nearly $10,000 or more purchase in furniture will be spent somewhere else. My sister was ready to pay for an order of over $12,000 that we had picked out. If you’re willing to lose that much money over an $800 TV stand you certainly don’t need my business. I have already spent over $7,000 since January in furniture and this order was for is another $4,500. It doesn’t make good business sense to me to lose a loyal customer and thousands of dollars of dollars in sales over $800. There are many other stores out there that I know will appreciate getting a loyal customer.

Everyone was extremely helpful and courteous, as well. They went well above and beyond to help us with all that we were looking for, and, to help us with the difficult dimensions of our floor plans. Amy John, and even others that we didnt catch their names, were very friendly, yet professional in every way! We will definitely be back for other furniture, and will highly recommend this great place to all of our friends!!!

Debbie did an outstanding job of enlightening me about mattresses. She spent a lot of time explaining things to me and then again to my husband on our return trip to the store. She was so helpful and is obviously extremely knowledgeable about what she does. Plus, just very personable. Makes a big difference in my book when shopping. My husband and I have recently discovered this jewel of a place in the small town of Waynesville, North Carolina. After searching several places in larger cities and also on-line and being completely unsuccessful with finding any furniture needed to our liking, we were amazed to see the selection at Carolina Furniture. From the moment we walked in we were treated well by both William and Debbie Waldron, both separately and together, who each work at the store together and also live their lives together at home! They were kind and helpful and led us to the selections we were looking for and we were surprised that everything that we were looking for and things that we didnt even realize that we were looking for quite yet were in stock at this facility! We have nothing negative to say about this place. It has been one of the most precious places we have discovered since spending time in the area. And William and Debbie are wonderful!

This place has a nice selection of furniture. The down side was a matter of poor customer service. We encountered a very rude older man there working the floor. The lady that was working that day was super sweet and helpful. I do not recall their names but I decided to talk to the lady working because the guy was so rude.

When I first bought my home here in 2007 i bought my living room set at Carolina Furniture and am happy to say I am still using some of the pieces! Their furnishings are made so well that they last and look good after many years. This time Debbie was so helpful with me when I went looking for a couch! I thought I needed a sectional she helped me figure out my room and what pieces I would need to use. We went to see what a cuddler section was and if it would fit, well when I turned around I saw a couch with a chaise on it and fell in love, realizing a sectional really wouldnt work in my small living room. Its in an old grocery store. The prices for the furniture which range in quality of between rooms to go to Bassett are way over price. Im sorry but I wont be going there again. I saw their advertisement on the TV and had to check it out. The 2 star is mainly for the over price!

Bought a Flex Steel recliner couch. While under warranty one of the motors went bad. Called the store and was told they would have someone contact me. After some time and no response I called the customer service dept. and was given the phone number of their warranty repair people. Called them and they told me the motor was on order. After several weeks with no contact I called them again. They said the part was on order, and because of covid the order was delayed. After a few more weeks I went on line, purchased a motor and repaired it myself. I never did hear back from the warranty people. I assume the motor is still on back order. Warranty is not worth the paper it is written on.

UPDATE DECEMBER 2020- THIS STORE HAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! I AM VERY UNHAPPY. THEY DONT FOLLOW UP ON GETTING PARTS THEN ARE RUDE ABOUT IT. THE $7,000 MASSAGE CHAIR I PAID TOO MUCH FOR HAD A USED TABLET AND WHEN THEY FINALLY GAVE US A NEW ONE IT WONT CONNECT AND THEY TOLD ME TO CALL THE COMPANY MYSELF. WHY SELL SOMETHING YOU CANT ASSIST WITH? WE CAN ONLY USE THE CHAIR IN DEMO MODE! IT WONT CHARGE THE TABLET EITHER! THATS RIDICULOUS! I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN! They are wonderful to work with. The prices have also been very good and fair. I worked with those Amy and William and theyve done a great job!
