I went looking for one item this visit, and was promptly and politely addressed and assisted by the gentlemen in the electronics department. I was thankful that they finally had in stock the item Id come for after no luck for a couple of weeks. This is my home Walmart but I finally have a good reason to leave a specific review :) Thank you for the help to the men in electronics this early afternoon!!

I was here on a Saturday afternoon and the store was very busy. I guess Im not surprised we are getting close to Christmas. What I didnt expect was that there were many carts full of boxes of merchandise that needed to be put out on the selling floor. There were even entire isles that actually only fit one cart going down it. You couldnt shop what was behind the carts and customers couldnt even pass each other. The real bad thing was that I did not see any employees unpacking & putting away that merchandise!!!I do understand that new merchandise needs to be stocked onto the floor and this is a very busy time of year -- but it should not be wheeled out to the floor to be done, at what is probably the busiest time & day of the week.

Hard to find help, but overall nice people. Price is up and lots of chinese goods.

This is the 3rd time doing a pickup from the wausau Walmart. The first order was canceled by Walmart after telling me they were shopping for items. The 2nd trips I sat in my vehicle for over 15 minutes after checking in for pick up and watched other vehicles come and go before I received my order. I guess Im not a Valued customer. Ill have to take my business elsewhere! Smh

Electronics staff was pointless. And took over 20 minutes to find a cart to bring our TV purchase to the front of store. Not only that but the staff bickered about which one was going to bring it to the front. No one used theyre handheld until I told them to scan to see if it was in stock. Terrible customer service and unhelpful.

We shop at there Alexander they are helpful when you need it.

Fleet Farm is just HOME!!! I LOVE seeing all the old time candy that my grandparents used to have at their house. Just makes me nostalgic for the old days of childhood again!!!

As usual its wasnt a good a experience. Shelves are empty and only one normal checkout going. We do NOT use self checkout. So as usual we wasted extra time in line, that wasnt necessary when you have 7 other check outs that could be working but nope you make people line up 10 deep. We only buy the absolute necessities at Walmart the rest comes from Amazon. No waiting in line there!!!!

0/10 very unhelpful, uncaring employees. Nobody ever answered the phone and IF they do, they just transfer you to a different department that won’t answer. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Their customer service skills are non existent.

They never have enough check out lanes open, I prefer self check but all the ones with conveyor belts were closed! Only one person run lane open! They never have stuff in stock. Too over crowded no room in lanes to walk. Bathroom was gross. The employees are fine, feel sorry for them, store seems to be run badly as I have been to 7 Walmarts in WI and a Walmart in 12 other states and the Wausau WI Walmart is the worst one! We usually go to Plover one as it is much nicer.

Shelves are always empty. The place feels like a garbage pit. Why is the Wausau Walmart so different than all the other ones around the area?

Usually pretty busy now cause they are not open 24hrs. So I only go there when absolutely necessary after covid .started. I waited almost 2 months before I actually went there I definitely would rather go during the night after or before work. Which usually is after they are closed

This walmart seriously needs a replanning of thier parking lot layout especially in relation to the pickup area!!! It just too dangerous!!! Many near accidents and major MAJOR traffic jams that lead all the way out to the stop light and road just from an improperly planned out parking lot entrance. Super dangerous!!!

This store doesnt come close to other Walmart for inventory, better off driving to merrill or plover

They ran out of what k needed to get canvas prints made. The girl told me shes going to grab some from the other store, and that I can pick it up today, Christmas eve, I hope it works out. Everyones nice and helpful here!

Nice clean store and friendly employees. The fishing section is a bit lacking and needs to be expanded. Some other items I was looking for were not on the shelves.

Teach your pickup today people how to bag. They didnt put 12 sparkling water bottle in a bag so I had them rolling all over my car. Also each item had its own bag so I had 30 bags which is a waste and stupid.

No cashiers to assist and personnel to assist or answer questions. Shelves empty of lots of items and no one available to assist.

Generally a pretty good experience...the only negative is fresh foods dont last and are already moldy upon purchase at times...hit up Lambs for fresh produce/meats.

They didnt have the game cords we came for, which was our only purpose in shopping here. When heading to pay, only the self checkout was open, and after the third error while putting in cash, I put my money on the scanner, told them to keep the change, and walked out. I am a paying customer, and you have employees to check out your customers. If you cannot at least supply workers to provide a serviced checkout, you could at least provide automated systems that work. Will not be back. Customers deserve better.

They need to hire more cashiers.... I dont work there so I wont use self checkout.... Lazy people in the yellow zests just watching people and not doing anything important

I had an appointment for tires to be put on. They saved 4 for me. Someone else sold the tires before I got there. When I arrived they were very sorry and apologetic. They worked hard to rectify the issue and made me very happy. Thanks Dee and the other guys involved.

I got to this store at 10:55PM last night. My little girl broke her elbow and we had just left the emergency room. We were staying in a hotel, so needed Tylenol. I broke down and cried in the parking lot when we got to the doors and realized we needed to go in the other doors at that hour and they were closing in 5 minutes. An incredibly kind employee let us in the door we were at and made sure we got what we needed. True humanity!

Not bad for a big box store. They have everything you need!

If I could give them ZERO star I would. Called 17 different times to get a hold of someone regarding their products and no one person from any department picked up. Glad to know they care about paying customers. #targetforlife

I was at the Walmart in the Stevens Point/ Plover area trying to buy a laptop, they didn’t have the one i was looking at in stock so we called this Walmart. I attempted multiple times to reach anyone to try and get more info because we could not find anything on app. I sat on the phone for 5 minutes while it rang. I made 3 phone calls for all of them i sat for the 5 minutes hoping someone would pick up but no one answered. I would honestly just take your business elsewhere if you need to call this Walmart because the likely hood of actually getting to talk to anyone on the phone is slim to none.

The LED lighting is really bright. Otherwise, good selection.

Long lines the expectation to use self check out those lines where also long. I asked for help to find round Hawaiian bread for spinach dip the lady had no interest in helping me. Why I prefer Target and Meijers.

Shelves are messy, products are not shelved by the correct price stickers. Prices seem to often be wrong. There are always plenty of workers wondering around looking confused and a few actually working.

Electronics management is sub pat at best.The regular guys back there are helpful. Its Wal Mart

Worst place to EVER shop. They DO NOT STICK BEHIND people with medical conditions not having to wear masks! So, patrons of this place harass other patrons! Wheres the sign saying people dont have to wear a mask with a medical condition? Merrills Walmart is so much better! Cleaner... And the customer service is SO MUCH BETTER!

I am a doordasher. I live in my vehicle and travel for doordash my Job! I have personal items in my vehicle and am unable to delivery for my job for disabled and elderly folks. I am very unhappy with the pickup service from this location. Or any location!! I feel like Im unable to perform my job to help people because of this issue!!

Nine years after first visiting the USA, I finally ventured inside a Walmart. Didnt really need anything, so didnt look to close at the prices to see how they compared with things back home, but otherwise felt like it was just an oversized combination of discount department store and supermarket. Theres obviously an incredible story of business success behind the brand, and the cheap prices are a boon for some consumers, but have also go to think its contribution to the dark sides of consumerism cant be ignored.

After being kicked out of this store last night for being physically impaired. Im very upset that I have some medical issues that at times I cant be wearing these masks. I had one on me but cant wear something restricting my air especially when I walk a distance to get into the building. I may have been singled out because I had a political hat on that this young brightly colored hair person obviously had some other issues. I pointed out several others without such mask and she didnt care. She threatened to have me removed for trespassing. So I was forced to leave and decided to do so to avoid conflict. Tried calling the store to speak with management but the phone wasnt being answered. Really sucks to drive a distance to purchase gifts for my disabled children and I myself get basically tossed out for my disabilities. Nothing short of shameful.!

Busiest walmart Ive ever been to and Ive been to alot. They were having problems sticking and because of the foot traffic the place is a mess.

Understaffed, random items on wrong shelves all over the store, many items completely out of stock. This store was and still is in chronically in poor condition.

This location is always jam-packed with people and barely any open parking spaces (even with COVID-19), the reason I give this location 4 stars.But, I can usually find what I need here so its a one-stop shop.Availability and prices are good. The service is friendly. The store appears clean.Happily surprised there was more than two open checkout lanes today! Very helpful to me since today I had a cart full.

First time Ive been to Walmart since the pandemic started and I will not be returingWent online said it was in stock, went there and the 3 things that were instock couldnt be found asked for help worker said oh yea I think I know where that is let me go check and then walked way and never returned I waiting for over 20 mins and then stayed in the section looking for other things I could use instead of that specific product for another 10 mins and the worker never returned.Id rather go someplace else and spend twice as much than go back there after that experience.

The customer service at this store is absolutely horrible. It is the worst Walmart in Central Wisconsin. I do not recommend this store to anyone!!! If I need to go to Walmart in the future I will continue to drive out of my way to go to another location!!!

Way too many people in the store difficult to get around because of the number of customers and nobody moves everybodys walking down the wrong way of the aisle impossible to shop and a lot of old people not moving very fast.

It was okay and I managed to get a cart because Im disabled that was charged enough to make it through the store but you need to start more white letter and monster energy drinks or Im going to have to shop somewhere else

One way gates at entrance and once through you need to go through the checkout to exit, and decided once we were in that we needed a cart so I needed to walk all the way around just to get a cart. Then they had the Isles stacked full of product and couldnt get to the item that I was there for so I walked out and will never return

Shelves are almost always messy and either low on stock or completely out. Other near by Walmart stores are much better!

I went to pick up some tires on Saturday that I ordered on-line. Although the staff were a little confused about where they were, they eventually found them for me and helped me get them to my car so I could have my daughters boyfriend install them on the vehicle they are intended for.The tires were inexpensive and have good all weather tread pattern. I would have had Walmart install them but at almost $27 per tire I would babe paying almost double the cost of the tires which is why I only gave Walmart 4 stars for this purchase.

This Walmart is the only one and the only place around wausau wi that dont have hot wheels!Iv looked every day for 2 months they have almost nothing.

Very dirty, a lot of items out of place, opened & ruined, and most of the workers were rude & snappy. Felt like we were bothersome to the employees. This is why we would rather drive 35 mins, to another city, to shop Wal-Mart.

I think Walmart should start selling more multicultural hair and skin products. I also think they should expand a clothing and jewelry line for women in their 40s. I also would like for them to start selling some of my old time favorite foods that Chicago offers.

Packed. Difficult to find parking. Lots of people in the store causing frustration as we tried to maneuver through the store. Long checkout lines but moved right through self checkout quickly.
