Went here for a window tint, got quoted $195 for my vehicle 20% on the sides, 5% for the back window..of course it ended up being a little more $ afterwards. I dropped my car off since I was told they werent busy at the moment. They were done within 4 hours and I love my tint so far. So glad Im not in a fish bowl anymore lol I plan to come back here to have my sounds put in and will leave another review for that job

Stereo PlusSo, my experience with this establishment did not go well. First, I was quoted $620.00 to install a radio that I brought in, plus a remote start and XM tuner. After dropping my car off at 10:30am and was told I would get a call when it was ready. That call never came. I called and was told again that I would get a call when ready. No call I went to pick up my vehicle at closing time 7pm. I did not get my keys till 7:15 a guy showed me how to use the remote start. I got the bill, and it was $100 more than I was quoted. The car was already on when I went outside. So, I did not have to unlock or turn it on. When I got home, I went over the car and found that they ripped the dashboard, there were footprints all over the front passage side they left plastic from the wiring. There was a brown mark on the pass seat. Grease marks on the peeler and arm rest. The driver door lock did not work properly. My navigation, heat and air did not work. They laid the xm antenna on the dash should on the roof in my opinion. When I went back to talk about it the owner George said that because I installed the new radio that the nav would not work. I was not informed of that. He also denied any damage. He said that I had to have the door looked at it was not anything they did. We went back and forth he finally agreed to look at must of the things. So, I brought the call back the next day. The door lock was fixed. Nav air and heat was working, but he did not fix the dash or the seat. For the dash he said he would take off $120. Funny that that is what the bypass install cost, so no discount. After arguing he said he would order the fabric to fix the seat, so that I would give him a good review. I went to the car and did not see the cord for the apple car play. I went back in and asked about that and was told that I needed to purchase an HDMI cord then they could hook it up. I decided that I did not want to wait for them, so I went to best buy the next day, and the automotive guy found it glued under the steering wheel area. So, they basically lied to me to get me to purchase a part for them to keep because I did not need it. This place is a joke. I wonder how many others fell for that scheme. Plus, I do not know why, but they took the unit off the face of the original stereo. I am sure I will not see that ever again. I plan on spending the money to reverse the shotty work done so that I have peace of mind that my car does not catch fire. PLEASE DO YOUSELF A FAVOR IF YOU VALUE YOU VEHECLE AND GO TO A REPUTABLE PLACE THAT WON’T MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE THEY ARE DOING YOU A FAVOR BY JACK UP YOUR PROPERY. I GUSE THE REAL PERSON SHOWS UP WHEN YOU QUESTION THEIR PROFESSIONALISM. I could write more but I am exhausted from this experience. Sad that I have to give a star.

COMPLETELY HORRIBLE! Went here to get some tints, LED lights, speakers, & a stereo. Every single thing stopped working (tints were peeling off). Regret wasting so much money at this place. They claimed they were going to help, but would ignore our calls. Stereo needed an update, they claimed they had no idea what that was. Moral of the story, do not go here. I ended up going to Grand Audio, & they fixed everything these people did wrong. For a great price! 😁 GRAND AUDIO is the place to go!

I requested dark tint however the job didn’t come out as requested and they are requesting I pay again to have another layer applied on my windows. I would give them no stars if I could because they aren’t correcting the work they did incorrectly. Not to mention while on the phone with the man he was VERY rude over talking me. Please stay away.

Had two experiences here.One with a Honda that I had bought speakers for to be installed and asked them to pump up the bass.1. Received no calls in any way shape or form about the status of the work done, so I had to be on top of them to see if anything was even ready.2. Took them three days to install the equipment I bought and it was returned to me with the guarantee that everything worked perfectly, which it did not. The speakers had a heavy static sound WITHOUT even using the sound system in any way (did you not bother to even test your work?) and the bass, which I asked to be stronger) was at the weakest, lowest level. Had to take my vehicle back to get this all re-done. Wasted a solid week here.Second experience was with a car that needed a power window fixed, which ended in disaster:1. They told me to buy the ‘part’ for the window, which they said came in ONE piece (it did not, every place I called told me it was two separate pieces). George, the guy in charge, heavily disputed this and blamed me for giving him the ‘wrong’ pieces.2. They then proceeded to install the ‘wrong’ pieces and break them, which they also disputed was MY fault for giving them the ‘wrong’ pieces. WHY even install it if you believed the parts to be wrong?? Again, NO phone calls and 3 days wasted with something that should’ve taken two hours to install.3. They told me to bring them another set of parts to install (which costs 250$). So they made me waste 250 on a part THEY broke and refused to take responsibility for, then wanted me to waste another 250 on a part that’s supposedly NOT the right part??Took my car and just left. This place is the worst for honest business, do not go here. You’re better off at CAR - X Down the street.

It took the guy 4 hours to install a stereo because the technician had to take a 2 1/2 hour lunch break. Then had to wait a day for the the mounting bracket. Only good thing was the price

Payed $240 for LED headlights, the left side went out after only 6 months. Cocky owner wasted my time saying he’d replace them. Ended up changing them myself with a better product from Amazon. Don’t give this guy business.

I have brought five vehicles to this place they quoted me $320 to install a remote start which I paid then when I came back to pick up my car they charge me another $120 saying it was a $750 install looked it up at other places it was a $200 so install way overcharged. And then second part 2 that is added to bring the vehicle back four or five times to get it working correctly

I should have read the reviews before I came to this place. I am very disappointed. Came in for tints. I have a 3pm appointment, came in on time and since they said it’ll be done in two hours, I decided to just wait. 5 hours and I’m still here waiting. I know, you don’t want to rush when something is being done to your car. If time is important for you, don’t bring your car in this place. They need to be honest to the customers and say that they need to leave the car and Or just be at least realistic with your time frames. I wasted my whole day waiting.

After going to 3 or 4 other car places to get my windows tinted, I decided to try my luck with Stereo Plus. Walked in the door after driving past it a few times & Jorge was an extremely helpful & genuinely nice guy. Id recommend going to this place to anybody. Its well run, efficient, priced fair, & family owned. You cannot beat that.

You get what you pay for. They took 7hrs to install my sound system. They broke my center console control faceplate. I found out they had their rookie son work on my car. He broke it and admitted it to me. When it was time to replace it and they found out the part was expensive,they denied it being their fault and changed their story.In short: They are liars, they misquote you, they take too long for simple jobs, they are unprofessional. George dosent care about his customers, Only their money.I’ve tried to sue them. No lawyer wants to take on a case only worth $800. Take my advice.STAY AWAY

This place got 2 starts from because when I first booked my (appointment) the lady said it was going to be a 3hr job for tints..well I came in next day 15 mins early and gave the lady my info..she proceeds to say oh by the way its going to be a little longer because the tint guy had to go to a doc appointment..I didnt mind I thought hey an extra hour wont hurt but what ended up happening is me having to call for an update because they took 7hrs yep 7hrs for an ok job. this place needs to have better management and be honest with your customers what if I had something else to do within the 3 hrs they said it would take?? so honestly last time I make the mistake of coming here.

Ill just blame it on the virus because the customer service was terrible and the work was junkie. Think ilI do my own install next time

Paid $400 for viper remote start and alarm with fancy remote key chain. Had to bring back three times before alarm would stop going off on its own. They disabled the entire alarm system, can open door and alarm will not sound. Will be calling lawyer in the morning.

Good place to go too for tints,steros car work you name it!! Very affordable, hardworking people the owner is a very understanding and funny person all good vibes here the wait for getting things fixed is a about 1-2hours but if you want the job done right you will be waiting.

Brought my wifes Honda pilot in, they installed the auto start package I wanted. Didnt try to up sell me or anything. Great service in and out. Great present for my wifes birthday.

They do it all here. They can install sounds in your ride, they can install windows tints in your ride, they do all sorts of mechanical work, tires and rims and they even have a body shop as well. They can do multiple jobs at the same time and save you time and money. 100% satisfied

Ok so I have a 08 Sentra I had them do a complete sound system radio two 6x5 and two 6x9 two amps and a 12in sub now I shopped around and they gave me a quote of $375 for wires and radio mount they said they can do it in 2hrs everywhere else said 4-6 hr job so I decided to get the job done so then I get a call from Jorge saying that they need to put 6x9 all the way around because that’s what the Stock system had so he traded the 6x5 that I had for two pioneer 6x9 that he had in stock so out the door I paid $440 for everything and it sounds good !!!!Now Jorge was very short when talking to him but I understand Time is money especially when you run a shop like this I appreciate their work they even stayed late to finish my car I would recommend them I just wouldn’t expect Grand A conversation

I took my husbands car there to have another stereo installed. It was a very basic stereo to replace the factory one. It took HOURS for them to finish it (everywhere else takes an hour and a half at the most..), and when I got in the car and heard the radio, there was this constant high pitched sound that would not go away.A day or two later, I took it back. They looked at it, and one of the guys that work there told me there was nothing that could be done and they did the job right. I knew it wasnt going to do any good to fight with them, and I knew I would not get my money back. Im just taking the car somewhere to get a stereo installed CORRECTLY.I would never recommend this place to anyone for anything!

I gave them a 1 because Ive done business with them before and had satisfactory service. This day was VERY different. Went in to see if they could swap bulbs for halo and fog lights at 10am opening. Mine work, just wanted to change the color. Fog lights changed with them before was $35. Told him I had an appointment coming shortly and could come back unless it could be done quickly before then. George said yes and took my car back. Maybe 30mins later I was told the bumper had to be removed and I said ok. Long story short. I missed my appointment and my car was ready about 130pm, 3.5hrs later. Then Im told I owe $195. Needless to say, I wasnt happy at all, asked why and also why wasnt I told of $65hr charge prior to that moment. Any other purchase over the years was told in advance and was never an hourly price. I didnt ask for price because I had a reference from before. Ended up paying $150 to change 4 light bulbs. Planned on getting windows tinted and system installed as well on a later date. I will never return, unless its for a refund of my $150. I will also tell everyone I know who frequents this location.

If you guys are looking to Tint your windows. Go elsewhere dont bother coming here. I was told it was going to be a 2 and half hour job. I dropped off the car around 11:30am. Was called around 3:42 PM was told the car was finished. Got there and they said it was a mistake wrong car. Said it would take about a hour. Which I understand its ok no big deal. Told me it would be finished in a hour ok koo. Left to get dinner. Came back around 5pm still nothing. Eventually the car came out and I saw some imperfections on the left rear tint. Nothing major. Which they fixed but I kid you not I left at 7pm !!!. By this point I was upset because I wasted time. On what I was told was gonna take a 2 and half hour job. Im very disappointed. The job came out ok. But the experience was horrible. Was not worth the money for waiting that time. Go to a place where they treat you with professionalism. This place a was a joke and in no way ever coming back again. There good and wasting peoples times and having fun happy customers. I usually form like making reviews likes these. But was not happy. I hope anyone looking to tint your windows. Seriously avoid this place. What I could say is that Georges wife was nice with us. Luckily It was my day off but I felt like It was wasted. I know for a business. Time is money but they really need to change how they do business. Customer service needs to improve.

I bought a pair of kickers for my door off them and paid for them to install it & i needed them to hook up my amp with my speakers to the car. First they claimed that my amp didnt work and that I should buy one of them. I refused and got a refund on the one I had and brought a new one. And they still claimed it was not working. Whatever. So I left and went to this place called Tims Audio in Belvedire Mall and he hooked it up in less than an hour. 2 weeks go by and Im at the car wash. I go to clean my backseats and the speaker cover on the door falls off. Turns out they never installed the kickers I paid for. They put a generic brand in probably from another car they took them from. When I went there to confront them. Nobody knew who I was, everybody all of a sudden had amnesia. Even with the receipt they gave me and signed they still claimed it was a fake or not theirs and dismissed me as a crazy disgruntled customer. All in all, if youre like me and dont really know anything about electronics. They WILL take advantage of you. BEWARE!!!

Had a stereo installed a month ago in my Mitsubishi, deck, front rear speakers etc and everything works great. Service was prompt and professional. I would highly reccomend stero plus to anyone looking for work done!

Horrible horrible service! Came in for a tint job on my coup, ended up taking 5 hours. Got home and the next day the tint was peeling. Came back and had it redone, and while i was waiting they convinced me to get my center consel reupholstered. Its been 8 months since i gave them my consel and ive called and came in multiple times. I live an hour away anf every time i came in they couldnt find it finally a month later they found it. I go in and tell them i am here to pick it up. It takes them an hour to bring it to the front desk. I talked to the receptionist multiple times and she called him probably five times. Worst service ive ever seen. I have no idea how they are even still in buisness because they dont know how to run one

Dont waste your money and time coming to this place, I had an alarm/remote start combo installed, I had a problem with it, after lock the truck the alarm went off after 30 minutes, I went back to these fools and did somenthing(when I asked what they did, they didnt know what) and they didnt fix the problem, went back to them 3 days after, and again they took the teuck inside the shop but didnt fix the problem, again I went back to them and this time they did something that I thought fixed the problem but when I test the alarm I found out that the alarm wasnt working anymore, I took the truck to another place because I thought-if they didnt fix it the third time, they dont know what happen with it and they told me that Jorge and his fools cut the alarm cables to fix the problem and left a couple cables unplugged and the ones they plugged were misplaced, I had to pay $150 to get the system reinstalled, another thing is that when they issue you a receipt the quantities dont match with the total, the lady said that thats the way they do it and get mad when I told her that the total was wrong, Jorge the owner is super rude and disrespectful, he told me-I wanna make you happy even if you arw not a woman, what is that supposed to mean and when I called to tell him that the alarm wasnt working anymore he told me -what happens is that you dont know how to use it.So, had to pay $372 with them plus $150 atthe other place for the reinstall.Clearly at stereo plus they dont know what they do and will scam you..

They did a horrible job in our two vehicles, the tint job looks so unprofessional and obviously they cant do anything about that unless they hire someone who can do better I guess. The reason why we came here was the price, what a mistake! Paid less but windows look horrible. Let me start off by saying the guy that owns the place is rude. My amp went out on my 2010 Camaro so I bring it here to have them look at it. They tell me I need a 4 ch. amp, so I agree to pay $235 for the cheapest one they have plus install. I get it back and only the front speakers work, the back up sensor chimes dont work and my back speakers only kick low frequency bass at max volume. I let the owner know and he goes on this rant about him knowing how to do his job, cursed me out, called me stupid, told me I had two subwoofers in the back and then after all that said he wanted me to get a 5 ch. amp. Seeing that he thought two speakers where subwoofers, I decided to take a look at the issue myself. All I had to do was change the output to full on the amp. So unless your getting an all around audio upgrade I would recommend somewhere else. All around poor business.

Left my car for an appt at noon, tint job, and old tint removal. They finally got ahold of me at 330 to ask me if i wanted the old tint removed! Supposedly they couldnt read my writing on their appt book. Finally got there at 530 and they said they wouldnt finish till 7. Got my car back at 8. So if you bring your car here, be prepared to leave it all day, open to close. Oh, asked the salesman to let me see the car in the shop under the bright lights to check their work and refused...hmmm

IF YOU WANT TO SKIP TO THE POINT, GO TO THE END OF MY REVIEW.Let me start by saying they did a good job in my specific experience. I had a Avital 4103 installed in my 2003 Ford Taurus. They charged a total of $235 +Tax, because my car needed a bypass module which made it quite a bit more expensive (they will tell you if you need it). Overall great price, and so far installation seems solid.The store is mostly minorities. Not that this is bad, no one in the store was rude on my 2 visits. But a lot of spanish speaking, and they make it obvious theyre talking about your vehicle. The store overall is kinda shady, but I didnt mind the appearance.Now down to the more important factors:THE STAFFRating: 2/5The main boss, Jorge, was not rude to me but i assume because we had nothing to argue about. I told him what I wanted, he showed me the deal he had, I said yes, and he said itll be 2 1/2 hours, which it was. He seems like you could easily get on his bad side if you argued, however.I had to go in twice due to not bringing a second key for them to set up the remote start correctly. The FIRST time, after they finished and I went up to pay, the older woman said how much it was and I could have sworn she said $380. I said sorry how much? She got mad about it and said 235 plus tax is 253. I said oh sorry i thought you said something else. Gave her my card, she was slightly rude the whole transaction. Whatever. The SECOND time the younger lady was working. I explained why I am back from the day before and she wouldnt understand what was going on. Shes like Why didnt you have the install yesterday then? and then Jorge came in and all was resolved, he did it in about 5 minutes. She quoted me an hour and a half before that due to the place being busy. Overall dont expect a nice staff at this place, but unless you wanna argue its not too bad.THE WAITRating: 3/5This is half and half. You could have a fast install, you could get screwed (based on reviews ive seen here and people that were in the store). Mine took 2 1/2 hours which is slightly longer than Id expect, but they did have a kinda busy store. The thing is, they dont take appointments, all walk-ins so they take you either in the order of who came in first or the order of whos making them the most money. Its a gamble so pick a not busy time of day.INSTALL OUTCOMERating: 5/5I didnt get an audio system, or tint, or any body or repair work. I got a remote starter w/ keyless entry. So anything else you get done, cant say anything about it. I checked out the install and it seems well done. He showed me how it works really fast and its very nice. BEST BUY charges $390 for similar work with a slightly more popular brand, but same uses. This system for $235 has great range, does lock unlock trunk remote start alarm and slow light blink. Everything I seen looked well wired and put together well. When i got in my car, its original box was in the passenger seat, the quick user guide, the install guide, and other included papers were in the drivers side door, and the second key was in my ignition ready to go. Professional layout, professional results.PRICERating: 4/5I already stated it was $235, cheaper than Best Buy. But similar offers are all around the web. Doesnt make this place special, just proves that its much cheaper to go to a local store than a rip off like Best Buy.END RESULTRating: 3/5Pros:Great Install, No problems.Good Price, better than major companies.I Received a lifetime warranty.Inbetweens:Store is kinda shady.Dominated by minorities and spanish speaking.Wait time varies, could be quick or long based on who walks in.Cons:Poor customer service / Rude staffYou come here for low prices, but bring somewhat low expectations. This place has i believe only one person who speaks somewhat decent english. Everyone else you can not understnd or they cannot understand you. The only reason why i go there is beceuse they seem to be the only place around that has what i need. My first bad experience was when i had my JL Audio amp go out. I had to take it to thm for them to send it in to service. It took them 7 days to get the RA # and send it in. When i went to get it back 3 weeks after i gave it to them, they charged me $75 for shipping of the amp. Now that was not right, but i had to pay it because i wanted my amp back. They will rip you off fot the cheapest things.

This is place is complete garbage. I had set up an appointment on a Monday for tinting that following Saturday at 1000am. After sitting for 4 hours in their dirty waiting room (which is the store) I decided to find out the progress and found out my car hadnt even been started. When I asked what happened JORGE the owner said his tint guy never showed. When I asked what he was going to do about it, he shrugged his shoulders and walked off. Jorge and his staff are clearly unprofessional, and non reliable. I wasted 4 1/2 hours of my day in that garbage building. On the way out I looked at a customers car that was finished and I saw noticeable bubbles in the rear window in the corner so it goes to show they also do sloppy work.

Worst tint job ever !!!!! and the owner was very disrespectful to the wife !!!!! Was told one price on the phone and then after we get there they change the price to almost double !!!!! Should have left after they double the price but thought that we were going to get a great job done on our brand new Cadillac would not of minded paying more if they did a good job !!!!

This place has excellent customer service, all the times we have had to change the audio or video system for our cars we have been satisfied, the person who attends the front desk is very friendly and always tries to help the customer, It is 100% recommended, they have a wide variety of items for each of their needs, your cars will be as you wish to have them, it is very busy so it is better to keep appointments so that they can work on their cars.
