We have used Northern Legacy for our repair needs several times now and they are truly an excellent operation with outstanding customer service. We highly recommend them for quality and knowledgeable service. They also have reasonable prices. They are truly awesome. They even helped us with a stripped bolt/nut quick repair for my garden cart. Dave is the man to go to. From big repairs to small they do an awesome job!!

David and his team are absolutely amazing! My vehicle started to stall while passing through on the way to Anchorage from Fairbanks . I just so happened to be at the intersection right by Northern Legacy Auto Care (a blessing in disguise). Even though it was later in the day and with being short staffed, he extended his hours to help me out. It turned out that my vehicle had a major leak and was leaking oil the whole time. He and his team went above and beyond and had my car up and running in no time. He even took the time to show me how to check my oil before sending me back on the road! I wish they made more mechanics like the ones they have at Northern Legacy Auto Care! Thank you guys!!!

I brought my Subaru to this shop after a long trip. I recieved some diagnostics of front end repairs from another shop but brought it to these guys to get confirmation. I was skeptical of the prior diagnosis. David did a thorough diagnostic on what the repairs were. He was honest, extremely professional and helped me to understand what work needed to be done. The shop worked out a timeline for repairs that gave me the ability to afford the work as my budget permitted. The whole team were professional, keeping in contact with me via phone and responding quickly. I will be using this shop from now on. The work was done and it was done well. This shop is amazing! Dave is an incredible mechanic, super knowledgeable, friendly, honest and works very hard to find what is wrong with your vehicle! He is The only mechanic I would recommend even if you have to drive in from Anchorage. He has a very sweet family and it is a family owned business which I really like to support! When you come to the shop you definitely know you are welcome and appreciated!

Friendly staff. Did better than same day service. I was able to get same hour service! I had a large bearing in a vehicle wheel assembly that had to be pressed out and the new one pressed in.Open Saturdays and reasonable prices.

My vehicle broke down while I was passing through to Fairbanks. Even though it was later in the day, he was able to fit me in. He went above and beyond to be sure that I had a safe vehicle on the road. I could tell that he really cared as he took the time to check in to be sure that we made it home safely. I would not hesitate to go here again! Both service and customer service were top notch.

I’ve been extremely impressed with Northern Legacy’s work. The pricing and the estimates he’s given have been great. I had three broken off exhaust manifold studs in the head on my F150. After other shops looked at it and said “we’d have to pull the engine on that model...” Dave was able to get all three out without removing the engine. He went the extra mile to save me the $3k of pulling that motor and in the end it cost about $500. Dave does such a great job and gives such a fair price I’ll never go to another shop. I’d HIGHLY RECOMMEND Northern Legacy. Even if you live in Anchorage, it’s worth bringing your vehicle out to the valley to have Northern Legacy do the work on it. Thanks so much Dave!!

5000 mi from home I had some serious transmission problems. Somehow ended up at Northern Legacy and Im glad I did. David has a great crew, backs up his work and his prices are more than fair. Not too easy access for handicap folks with a wheelchair but you can get inside. I make an appointment prior to coming in since his hours fluctuate. His wife and kids, when working for him, are awesome to interact with as well. His daughter bakes delicious treats for customers and other business workers coming and going. :) They did a great job fixing my truck!
