A major thank you to Autozone, especially staff working on July 28! Our truck camper broke down in the parkinglot, and the staff were very accommodating and tried to help, until a tow truck arrived to haul the vehicle back to Anchorage.

Not a lot of OEM parts. Always new people. Never know what you are talking about unless a manager is there or you have a part number. Atleast they have a lot in stock.

I was humiliated today from a male staff member. I went in to pick up parts for my husband with a receipt and the condescending employee would not listen to me or look at me. All he would say was someone picked them up and I need to check my car. I asked who signed for them and he wouldn’t answer. I was treated like being a female I do not have a brain or did not know what I was saying. He repeated it over and over I need to check my car. I was so frustrated I was shaking by the time I walked out with out a resolution. My husband calls them and they straighten it up right away. I will not buy another part from any Auto Zone ever. Disgusting behavior.

If you want the best parts, knowledgable staff, and dont mind high prices, go to NAPA. If you want great parts for great prices and a staff that mostly knows what theyre talking about, go to OReilly. If you want limited parts selection, bad customer service, long lines to wait in, and staff who couldnt tell you the difference between a carburetor and a headlight bulb, all while still paying high prices, go to Autozone!

Make sure you return your cores even if they tell you that you dont have to. Just had to pay $90 2 moths later after being told by 3 employees that cores didnt have to be returned!BTW they never got back to me even though I emailed them like they asked 🙄

Extremely helpful people here. I wish I remembered the guys name, but Ill try to find it tomorrow when I return the tool. Anyway, he went out of his way to find a suitable replacement for a part that none of his vendors had.He even mare a print out of my codes, gave me a website for assistance on possible faults, and then printed out those as well. Great spot for mechanics!

We were very pleased with the quality help we got from Joe at Wasilla AutoZone. He checked our engine light code, let us know that it was the ignition coil, and even helped us install it in the parking lot. And this during a cold, very windy winter day. Thanks Joe!

This is a great little store. The folks here are always very helpful. There are tools to rent if you need something in town to save time and they also sell my favorite drink, hydraulic fluid. Too bad they are not in the tire shop business !!!

The guys at Auto Zone are terrific, very helpful, informative, they take the time to explain, give you instructions & the best price available to them. Even will print out your issues will expected costs of repair so if you go to a shop you know what to expect. They are my go to guys....

Went to the store to get items for an oil change..Reiterated that I had a Hemi in my truck and that it was not diesel..well they seem to have given me the wrong filter..So as my truck sits in the garage with no oil in it because they gave us the wrong filter..I missed a days work..had no way to town to exchange it and when I talked to AutoZone..well there was nothing they could do..so I called a competitor and explained the situation and they were happy to run out a part!! I want to say Thanks to Tiana at Store # 5000 in Wasilla for the most horrible customer service ever!! When I went in to return the filter...Tiana was helping a lady with a spark plug for her Snow Machine..they didn’t have the right part so she was trying to pawn off a Spark plug that wouldn’t even fit..two of her co workers even told her they would not work..So I wonder how they give out the wrong parts all the time??!

I bought windshield wipers and a new associate installed them. One flew off as I was driving home. I went right back within a half hour and they installed a replacement and made sure both were attached correctly without charge. They were very helpful and polite.

Called to place an order for a radiator fan assembly on 5/29. None of the stores or competitors in the state had it in stock either. I was told it could be delivered to the store by 5/31. I called that day to check on the status and was told one of the warehouses cancelled the order?! They placed another order for the same part, told me they would make up for it with free shipping... and told me it would be delivered by 6/4, and if I hadnt heard from anyone to call after 5pm to check again. I called the store when I hadnt heard anything and was told there were two orders in the system, and one of them showed in stock. Come pick it up.No one could tell me why the original order was cancelled.No one called me to tell me they when they received my already-paid-for part in.Upon arriving to the store, I showed my ID and they gave me the box to just walk out with, no paperwork. I asked for my receipt, and watched in utter shock as they pencil-whipped one of the two orders in the computer system to Complete/Picked-Up, so they could finally print me out a receipt.Regardless of pricing or availability, I would think twice about ordering anything thats not specifically on hand in the store.To top it off, as Im leaving the store, an elderly customer expressed his dissatisfaction to me that, AutoZone just isnt what it used to be. I couldnt help but agree with him.

Was a little disappointed when I stood 3rd in line a few minutes with only 1 person behind the counter. Eventually another person did show up, however did get a friendly quick error code read on my car, so I can let the wait in line ride.😊

For the last two years this has been my go to place for parts. In the beginning the service was great and thats what made me return. Recently theres been a reoccurring theme of parts not being in stock. I kept returning because the service was generally good. I mentioned parts not being in stock, but whats more frustrating is when youre given the wrong parts because the salesperson was pushing an item you dont want or need. Furthermore, the rewards program is a joke and its not usable and the employees do not understand how it works. After my last experience of not having the parts on stock as well as a rather poor attitude by your employee, Im going somewhere else.

Tonight was the first and last time that I’ve had to step foot inside of this store. I brought my grandma down to get a new battery for her vehicle and while she waited in line I began to look for a replacement battery. When it was our turn to approach the counter to be waited on the customer service rep behind the counter began to freak out saying leave the battery back there and don’t bring it up here. She even began to walk away from the register making the the situation even more awkward. So I set the battery down ask my Grandma to stay with it and approach the counter, and after a few mins we determine the correct battery. So I go and retrieve the new battery and get back in line and the customer service rep has the same reaction about the battery, and tells me to leave them both there and she can ring them up like that. By this time her coworker is free and offers to help me and tells me to take the battery to the register closest to the door. My Grandma proceeds to ask what’s the deal with the other lady and the battery, but the coworker brushes the question off and continues to assist and check us out. As customer service rep you should no make your customers feel uncomfortable, out of place, and unwelcome. If it wasn’t for the coworker I would have just walked out and went to a more welcoming parts store.

This is the worst store for customer service... PERIOD! I used to spend a considerable amount of money at this store when you consider that I am not a business owner. Several employees recognized me by name and by sight... but today... after shopping for some parts, my female friend and I were approached after leaving the store and told that we were trespassed from the store and falsely accused my friend of stealing a screwdriver. A SCREWDRIVER! Mind you, at the time I had over $400 in my pocket, why the hell would we steal a screwdriver?! When I offered for them to search our persons and my vehicle, they declined. When we asked them to show us proof, they said that they didnt have any. My friend understandable got upset (she is 2 months pregnant btw) and kicked the door. They called the local police and told us that we had to leave. I refused to leave and opted to wait for the police to arrive. Again, we offered the police to search our persons and vehicle, the police declined saying that the store wasnt attempting to press charges but that it was the stores right to trespass us. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE!!!! I have contacted the regional office and have yet to hear back from anybody. I will be demanding a written and verbal apology from the store manager as well as compensation.
