Dont enforce mask mandates and even though they say no groups, store allows large groups to enter. Very overpriced.

The woman working the counter was incredibly rude to me and when I asked her why she had an attitude problem with me she asked me to stop talking and kicked me out. I was with three of my friends and she didnt like that we were taking our time to purchase from her store... We kindly put our stuff back and left without purchasing anything. I do believe this was a race issue, I am Hispanic and she was a lot nicer to my white friends. Please reconsider before purchasing from this store. There are other liquor stores with kinder people who could use the business.

The woman working the register was blatantly rude. Apparently waiting on customers is an inconvenience for her. First, she told me that the bottle of wine I wanted to buy was more than it was labeled. I got another one, and she still said it was more than the price labeled. I didnt know what to say or do as Ive never been told to pay more than a marked price. I asked her about a bottle of whiskey price next. She didnt respond, so I asked again. She ignored me, and I assumed she didnt hear me both times, and when I looked confused as to what was going on, she yelled yeah, I HEARD YOU and rolled her eyes at me. How was I supposed to know she heard me after she didnt respond? Will never go back. Im disgusted.

This place is the best!! Affordable, good selection of beers and wines. Great service/owners! We will be returning!!

I had an AWFUL experience here. Went in with a girlfriend of mine and the owner of the store was super abrasive and disrespectful. Completely ignored us when we asked about a new whiskey to try. We immediately left and went to LA liquor (5 star rating), such a better experience!

Their name should be Serv-U-Not Liquors... The lady at the counter is very rude... I asked her to show me what she had in smaller bottles (they were behind the counter out of sight)... She rudely told me she could not show me everything and that I should tell her exactly what I wanted... I did not know what to get and wanted to make a choice based on my options.. I put back whatever other things I had picked up to buy and walked out...I read some comments here about the lady being racist against African Americans... Its ironic since she herself is black... But being from part of world with colonial mindset, it does not surprise me...

So I’ve never had a bad experience here. She’s always been nice to me. However, I have heard other’s express having a bad experience. I have had conversations with her and she has expressed how a lot of students who aren’t of age try to come in and buy and how she doesn’t like that. So it’s more of a looking like a student than a race thing. Also, she is dealing with very serious health issues, maintaining the store, and trying to provide for her son on her own. I am not trying excuse her behavior and the way she has acted towards others. But before you judge based on other’s experiences I suggest you try going with a positive and polite attitude and I hope you too will have a good experience.

I had one of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever had here. The female shop owner was abrasive from the get-go, and after we came back with a question about how the charges were displayed on our receipt thinking we might have been mistakenly overcharged, she and her husband yelled, belittled, and talked down to us. They had charged us the correct amount except for a five cents bag fee even though we brought our own (the charges were just displayed strangely on our receipt), but we didnt do anything to provoke the reaction we got, and you dont treat your customers like that. I would gladly walk a few more blocks to take my business elsewhere.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had in a customer service setting. We had a question about our receipt after being charged and the female shop owner began to yell at and talk down to my partner and me. The verbal confrontation escalated to a point in which I had to threaten to call the police. Definitely will never return to this establishment, and I recommend you take your business elsewhere. If anything else, the prices are extremely inflated.

I came in looking for a bottle of wine but the lady wouldn’t let me touch anything and said it was so no one would get sick but she wasn’t even wearing a mask herself. She was very rude. I wouldn’t recommend shopping. There wasn’t even a good variety there.

Bottle of wine said 12.99. Clerk charged me 13.99. Then charged sales tax on top bringing totalto 15.39. Then when I asked about the difference she said DC sales tax! When I asked for a receipt she angrily gave me someone elses. She finally gave me my reciept. Im not going to make a scene over a dollar but Im sure not going to go back.

Walked in with 2 friends and the woman behind the counter was SO RUDE. I will never, ever, EVER spend money buying alcohol in this establishment and I encourage other minorities not to do the same based on reviews and others recounts.

HORRIBLE customer service. A friend and I were inquiring about a few products and the woman at the desk was extremely passive aggressive. She was huffing and puffing, snatching ID’s, and displaying rude attitude and behavior for no reason. I assumed she was racist. Ended up leaving, refusing to purchase from such a place.

The person working here was extremely rude. I was from out of town, but would not come back if I was local to the area. Liquor is overpriced. Avoid if you can.
