This is a great liquor store with amazing prices. Staff is always kind and easygoing. The prices for Tito’s here is on par with what I find at Costco!

Convenient. Not that many options

Once a neighborhood institution, Barrel House lost a lot of character when it moved next door and lost its iconic barrel shaped door. At about half the size of the original, it doesnt quite have the same vast selection, but is still quite serviceable. It is inviting with friendly service. Also among the pluses are its late hours on Friday and Saturday nights, and Sunday hours.

First time here, just needed some liquor to drink. Place seems a bit crowded with product. I found something near the way back of the place but when I went to check out was told price was higher than what sign said. Did it like that they did not change price or give me the sticker price. Felt like it was a scam. Dont think I will return to this location again as there are many other places to get liquor. I also do not recommend to anyone either.

Miss the parking for free but they moved next door but good for walkers in the hood. Prices are OK but Calvert- Woodleys are better. Live in Upper NW so depending on how mobile and thirsty you are! Go!

Price is good and fair considering its on 14th. Selection is terrific too. And if they dont have it they will get it and call you when its in. what gets this place 5 stars as a liquor store is the customer service and organization. They maintain this place well.

If you live, hang out or work in the area its a really convenient shop to pick up any and all your cocktail ingredients from. I seem to recall they sell party kegs as well but its been quite a few years since i lived there and threw a keg party.
