One of the best bookstores in town. They also have a huge Palestinian pottery collection which makes for a great gifts. They have a vast collection of books on Palestine and the Middle East. The staff is Very nice and helpful.

Walked in and asked for a very specific topic (feminism and the Arab spring, especially with regards to Syria and the civil war). The employee went straight to the shelf and was able to show me 4-5 books that matched my topic. Some of the books were pricey, but I searched on Amazon for the book I ended up purchasing for $22 and found it for $70! If you’re looking for scholarly books on the Middle East (and even textbooks!), this is the place for you!

Its an excellent environment with a super nice director! There is a plethora of valuable books that I discovered. My author presentation was an exciting experience! I highly recommend to everyone to discover this hidden treasure of books, hidden in downtown DC.

Great selection of books

Some books can be a bit expensive but they have an amazing selection that pulls from even very small publishers so it makes sense. Has a great selection by country and some language primers that I went for, but had many other book types.

Love this place. Came here a few weeks ago and the friendly staff helped me find what I was looking for. I will be coming back here for future visits
