Love the coffee here. Great place to sit and work or catch up with a friend. They serve excellent quiches from Illuminated Kitchen, which I get far too often to be healthy. The staff are friendly and there is always decent people watching.

I come to the Depot about once a week. Their baked goods are a little dry but their chais, iced teas, and hot chocolates are all excellent. And the girls who work the counter are always very nice and quick.

Ive really enjoyed every time Ive gone here. Today my wife and I had some basic items from the menu (Iced Chai w/ almond milk and Iced Latte) and they were superb. Some of the best coffee shop items Ive had around. A+

What a wonderful little place (not so little, actually)! This felt like a really creative nook where one can really enjoy a moment -- coffee for pleasure rather than just utility. On that note, the coffee was superb. It actually had a flavor (above and beyond the generic coffee or roast flavor that you get at most chains)! Overall, a great place to get away and/or to have a nice conversation while enjoying a delicious caffeinated beverage. I look forward to returning!

Favorite place in the east bay

Charming coffee shop with baked goods. Excellent place to bring friends or just to read the paper or sit by the window and watch the world go by. They sometimes have open mic nights and poetry readings and the like for the local artist community which is nice. The coffee is great.

The coffee here is so good! The people that work here are very friendly! It’s definitely a cute little coffee shop and the breakfast sandwiches are amazingggg!! Or the quiches if they ran out of the sandwiches! I live right down the road on the weekends so it’s perfect for a good pick me up in the morning!

I love this place. Been a customer for over 15 years ... Quirky? Yes! Thats part of of small town charm. Coffee is good. Tea is awesome! Lots of variety. If you enjoy it there then they provide small teapots that I get 3 cups from. This place is great to chill out, do work away from the office and visit with friends or colleagues. Most tables, bar seating and chairs DO have outlets available but they are not easily visible. Ask a local or staffer and they will point it out to you. Enjoy this place! It is getting harder and harder to find good LOCAL coffee shops!

A one-of-a-kind Gathering Place for the local community. A good selection of pastry, tho once in a while, I get a stale muffin or slice of cake. Good homemade soups, the artisan breads are exceptional. Excellent cups of cappuccino to rival any Starbucks...unique sitting area. I find the place a bit dark for reading or knitting, but in fairness, some folks might say its soft lighting that adds to the ambiance. Ive been frequenting the Coffee Depot for years.

Ive been coming here for years. A wonderful cozy atmosphere, delightful staff, and good coffee and soup. Whats not to love.

Not that interesting. Id prefer dunkin only because of the atmosphere of this place. Its definitely an acquired taste and that taste is not mine. For the actual drinks, I find it a close parallel to the atmosphere. The taste is 100% DIFFERENT from what I usually drink, and thats not bad, but its just not my taste. And what I can take away from that is that this is a place of niche. In both aesthetic and taste buds.

Coffee Depot is the best coffee house in this area. Coffee is great, they have a good selection of teas, bakery goods and are now offering sandwiches. Love the atmosphere and the service is great. My husband and I have been going here for many years. Love it!

Curious place! Lots of local dynamics going on in there.On a Monday morning, the crowd is usually hit or miss. On an unusually cold Summer day with rain, it was mostly just pensioners enjoying a coffee, a newspaper, or each otherI did not look around too much, but it looks like the kind of spot that would have events or supporting some kind of cause. The black hot tea they had was good, and the baked goods looked tasty. Not sure if there was any gluten free stuff, though.

THE cafe of Warren RI. Locals love it, the kind of place that becomes a regular spot quickly. Perfect for students to meet up and study, couples for a first date, friends to catch up, or a quiet afternoon by yourself. Atmosphere is quintessential artsy local indie spot.

Trendy place for the locals to hang out. They have comfy furniture and cool art on the walls that changes frequently. The drinks are expensive, think $4 for a tea. They do have homemade snacks. This is a meeting place. Ive seen a knitting club, coloring group and moms of toddlers meet up. Great place!

Cash only but prices are reasonable with a relaxed atmosphere. The seating is comfortable but they dont have any outlets for laptops. Overall, still five stars!

Great little tea shop to sit and have a pot of tea with someone, or alone. They have Wi-Fi there, so you can work if needed. They also have some small food options if you are hungry, some baked goods and yogurts last time I was there.

Best coffee in town

This is my favorite coffee place in the entire world. I live in central Ohio but have family in Warren, RI. Whenever we visit, I cant wait to spend time at The Coffee Depot. Great beverages and food, friendly service and, most of all, wonderful ambience. To me, this place is the very soul of small town New England.

A regular cast of characters hang out and talk, the staff is quick and friendly, and the WiFi is free. There are a few power outlets along the wall if you need to do some work.

I didnt think this coffee was that great. My mocha latte tasted like just milk, and ordinarily espresso is very strong. I also agree with Chelsey below. I hated how they took the order of the person behind me before I finished... Also, its a pet peeve of mine to have to wait for the girls behind the counter to finish talking to each other while I stand waiting, meanwhile a 3rd employee plays on his cell phone not doing anything at all.

Having a great day and enjoying the sun after the rain storm we had. The experience was great. Noticed the book shelves and the music fit the atmosphere. A great town atmosphere here with the coffe house being where it should be. Ordered a large cafe latte and its good. Useally pefer iced coffee but sometimes that good cup of hot coffee can bring me back to enjoying coffee in the first place. Ran into a friend over there found the conversation well and with someone else in the shop. The feel of being able to relax while drinking hot coffee in the coffee establishments is like what you do in Italy. This coffe shop I recommend to anyone.
