First time visit, looking for one particular item. Found it quickly. Not really shopping so cant say how that experience was at this time. Did notice the store was clean, aisles clear. Thats a plus! Only two registers open, but associate called up when line started to form. Like that! Will go back again and explore.
Isabella went above and beyond and helped me with my transaction issues. The other customer service rep there didn’t help me b/c the store was “closed” and tried to barked me out the store. It’s great to know that we have some nice people working here, too, since I frequently shop here. Thank you, Isabel!
They dont have enough handcap carts are enough parking spot you have to go through one door and come out way at the other side of the building witch makes it hard on the elderly and disabled people who might want to buy some of the stuff they sell believe it are not some disabled and elderly like to do some small projects on their own homes it makes them feel useful but Menards wants to make it harder for them to get what they might need
Created an online order and paid for it. Got an email hours later saying the order was ready. The next day when I went they only had 6 of the 18 boards I needed. Ill accept I had to walk the store to get my stuff but for them not to have what I order is unacceptable
Update Below -The worst assistant general manager I have ever dealt with. Extremely rude. I first spoke with the manager requesting that they waive my restocking fee. Then I spoke with Josh, the assistant general manager and explained to him I spent over $5000 on flooring (not to mention the kitchen cabinets) and asked that they waive the $75 restocking fee for items I realized I didnt need. He walked away during our discussion and threatened to call the police if I didnt stop recording his rude behavior (not sure if the color of my skin had something to do with that). I asked them to come pick up everything I have purchased and they want me to pay $80-$100 for them to pick it up. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with!! Im now waiting for a call from Scott, the general manager. Oh, its not only about waiving the restocking fee, its about the customer service received from the assistant general manager...I will not shop at Menards again until he is gone.Update - I spoke with the general manager, Scott. He believes Josh didnt do anything wrong. He asked if he used any profanity (which he did not) as if that is the only way it would be considered rude or poor customer service. I told him I was going to write an email to corporate but I decided not. I just wont shop there anymore! However, I have a rebate I need to use from buying hardwood floor and Im sure they will not give me the dollar amount seeing that they wouldnt waive a $80 restocking fee. They lost a valuable customer!
Whole family loves this store. They have everything you could need with amazing prices. The store is super clean and the employees are awesome! Menards is an amazing place to come just to even walk around. They have amazing prices along with the 11% rebate on everything. I come here for small purchases and I can always find things I need, will definitely return!
Of the three big box stores in my area, I believe Menards is my favorite. Good selection, good deals and a snappy, old time jingle playing over the speaker system. Oh and pickup some peanuts in the grocery section!
I was here 2 times this week. First time it was great very clean everyone seemed nice. The 2nd time there I went to get a safe. I had seen it the day b4. The safe was out of its box with $99.99 under it. So I lift it a take it to cash out. I get up there to find out it’s $130. I asked about it being $99. They sent some over there and he called back sayin it’s $130. So I asked why is it out of the box with $99 under it. He said that wasn’t over there so I walked over to show him. He then told me it was a different one then what I had and it was more. But it was the same safe 100% When I asked the manager about it she seemed rude like I was bothering her. I payed the extra $30 and went to leave when the receipt wouldn’t come out. So after waiting about 10 mins some finally came over and got me it. I don’t think I’ll be back. Boy-o-boy do I love Menards. I started going to this location whenever Home Depot and Lowes didnt have what I needed (which was way to often) . Now I skip the prior and head straight to Menards. The people are kind and attentive, the store is clean, and the atmosphere is all-around welcoming. Ofcourse the real cherry on top is great prices. And for those of you who dont want the cheapest, Menards also offers quality. So next time you cant find what you need elsewhere; check-em-out! You may never walk into a Lowes or Home Depot again.

I shop at Menards quite often and several locations. Always a great experience and satisfied. However, after making an in store purchase recently, I will shop here no longer.The cashier had me insert my card twice for payment, saying it did not go through the first time. A few days later I have been charged twice in my account both processed not pending.Customer service said there was no way the system would charge me twice and only saw one transaction on their end. I insisted it did and was told I could come in and show them my account with both processed transactions. They would see what they could do. Given the dollar amount on this purchase it is not worth it to drive there go back and forth again with customer service to maybe get a refund. I was scoffed at for the dollar amount but to the customer it is the point here not the amount. Whether it is 10$ 100$ or 1000$ you are stealing from your customer.
Nice store...nice people... a little lacking to the other on basis of choices of inventory but I was surprised it carried the brand of puppy food my dog eats.. very good to know. enough staff to help if you needed it.. Ill be back

You know what I like about this Menards store. There is always knowledgeable and friendly staff to answer any questions. Also, they never make you wait in a long line to check out, like a number of other stores in the area do. Thats a big deal to me. Thank you Menards, for putting the customer first.

Stopped here looking for a new washing machine. They had a varied of choices and a lot of different options to chose from. I meet a sales representative named Skeeter. Nice guy, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. I received the information I needed and the advice I needed from him. I am bringing my dad to look at the models I looked at as they had them in stock and ready for delivery were Lowes had a three week out time for placing an order. Unfortunately, I could not wait that long.Also the price was right at Menards. They have all different options to pay for said purchase and to fit ones budget. They accept cash, credit cards, debit cards and the Menards credit card. Lots of parking, handicap parking and entrance and restrooms.Staff were all friendly, professional, friendly and would highly recommend coming here. Excellent store, employees very helpful and professional, great is how clean and spacious the allies are for shopping and easy to find what your shopping for . Parking lot ok except some shoppers as at other stores can not take the carts and put them were they go when their finished. Great store!!!

Ive been going to menards for sometime and I have always noticed the employees are welcoming and willing to stop and ask if I need help. They provide great customer service! I also appreciate the cleanliness of the store. Its a great store to shop at!
Love Menards but everything in the electrical conduit fittings area was mixed up and in wrong boxes, very hard to find the right stuff.
Good place to get home decor and DIY stuff. The garden center is often under staffed. But the customer service in the main store is great

They have unique items here. I found a nice standing hose holder. I liked theirs the most over home depots and lowes. I like that they have rebates too.
Lots of options at Menards! Its a great general store. The place is very big but things are marked pretty well and most things are easy to find if youve ever been in a hardware store. My only complaint so far would be that the online pickup is all the way in the very back corner and pretty hidden (though there are signs pointing toward it). It just seems like it would make more sense to put it by the entrance or exit as generally the reason I order through the website is to avoid people (especially now) / check out lines. That being said I do like the selection and the reasonable prices, as well as the friendly and helpful attitude of the Menards employees.
I placed an online order. I had to pay $1.40 extra because they picked the item for me. If I went into the store, I would have interacted with a cashier, so why dont they charge for going through the checkout. Online order pick up was not labeled. There was a small sign when you start to walk into the main entrance that says its behind the store. You have to drive through the lumber yard, but get stopped at a gate first. They check your order number and then make you roll down your windows so they can see whats inside your car. Upon leaving, they make you roll down your windows again. How about running your online orders like every other retailer out there and not charge extra or treat you like you are stealing. That was my first and last online order from Menards.

Went to buy a gun safe. I ask if 2 of the safes can be opened so I could compare the two. She advised me that their are too many keys to deal with. I asked who can I see about it. She sent me to another department. I went there and I was told I had to go to the appliance department. Bear in mind, I am handicapped and I cant walk far or stand for a long time. I made my way to the appliance department and met a gentleman there and asked him if I could see the inside of both safes. He went and got a bin full of keys. We went to the safes and he went through almost every key until he found the right ones. I chose the bigger safe and he said he will look to see if there was one in stock. Apparently, there wasnt and he checked if it can be ordered which he did. I advised him I would need it delivered. He told me to sit on the stool and he would go set up the delivery. He was extremely patient and courteous. I went up front and paid for the safe.
First and last time doing an online pick up. After checking in at the guard shack, drove around to Door 14, parked and called that I was there. I was told it would be be awhile as there were several others in front of me. I figured they all had.to be inside, as I was the only one outside in a vehicle. About 10 mins later a male employee came out and.told me inhad to move my truck as I was parked in a spot for online order pick up. I told him j was there to pick up an online order, to which he said yeah, I know, but you have a big pickup truck and youre taking up too much space (I was the ONLY vehicle out there). Go and park on the other side of the signs, in the drive. As I pulled away to park 3 feet over, another employee came out with my order and yelled that she had my order. When I turned around and reparked she asked why I moved. When I told her, she replied you were fine where you where. Sometimes he just likes to do things to feel like hes more in control. For an $11.00 order, Ill get it closer to home next time at Lowes and not just I was in the area and it was faster for me at Menards.

It was harder than what it should have been to find 3 items. They have a lot of everything, and when looking for a specific item, that makes it hard.

The 11% discount is not real, its a cheap gimmick. You are getting a coupon for marked up merchandise. If your okay with that, so be it, Im insulted that they call it a discount.

This has never been my favorite Menards, but I was pretty annoyed when I was told by the unaccommodating individual at the front desk that I had to pay for 2 full propane tanks when each of my tanks only needed about 10 lbs. Why bother filling tanks if you require people to pay for a full tank every time. I’ve never been to a gas station that charges me for a full tank when I put half a tank of gas in my car. Sometimes the “policy” doesn’t serve the customer or the company at all and I won’t be back.

It had been a long time since I had been to any Menards, probably 20 years, and on a whim we went outside our normal Lowes/Home Depot/Ace circuit and wow, just wow was I blown away by this Menards.This place is HUGE - two floors in fact - and has the kind of variety in selection that you dream about. Yes of course it has construction 2x4s and sinks and shingles and all that, but such variety! Dozens of kinds of doors all on impeccable display, hundreds of kinds of cabinet pulls, I dont think Ive ever seen so many varieties of pavers. Also, surprise, theres a grocery section (What?! Yes).We even found oversized dimensional oak trim we havent been able to find anywhere in the city and its going to save us a ton of time and money not having to joint and plane to size.Its still a bit out of our way, but after just one visit this Menards now firmly back on my radar.
Love this location. Menards have limited choice and one stop for a lot of household items. Price is reasonable too. Only if they could process the rewards automatically or up front will be great.

Went to buy potting soil that showed 61 in stock. We drive all the way over there to find out they have none. Even rechecked the quantity while standing in the store and it still showed 61 in stock.. Thisis not the first time this happened.
What a great place to go. Black Friday was great. Everything was easy to find. So many employees helping out customers. They were so very well prepared. Awesome job!!!!!
Store requires masks, but doesnt provide them without charging .41 per mask. That is a ridiculous mark up considering that other stores like HD provide them free when you enter, along with gloves and hand sanitizer. Hand sanitizer bottles at menards customer service were empty BTW, and unacceptable since there were 2 employees 5 feet away from the bottles. The 11% mail in rebate discount is a joke. Lady at check out told me that they would have to receive the filled out mail in rebate form the day after I purchased in order to qualify for the rebate, that is only store credit by the way.

I ♥️ Menards and when it comes to bird seed I wont go anywhere else. I also prefer Menards over the other big box home improvement stores for wood/building supplies, floor mats, cleaning supplies, gloves, light bulbs (espesh simple grow bulbs for succulents), and they have a large variety of closet organization systems on display. I purchased items and had a pleasant experience with the associates at this store. Unfortunately when I go to checkout that experience changed. I was told by an associate that the opened box item may be eligible for a percentage off. When I got to the checkout, Courtney was the cashier and her entire demeanor changed from the initial customer to mine. She did not say hello. She began to ring my items only. When I spoke to her about what the associate suggested, she immediately became snappy and said “no. We don’t” I said well the associate was under this impression and I am only following up with you regarding what was said. I then asked for a manager because she did not seem desirable to continue checking me out. She stated that she was the manager and unscanned all my items and pointed me to a different lane.This was the most I felt belittled, unappreciated and inhuman. Ian the said general manager came and apologized for Courtney and said that that is the only thing that would be done.I usually do not post about bad experiences with customer service, but there is a need for sensitivity, diversity and conflict resolution training for staff that operated such as Courtney.

You cannot contact anyone about any online issue or order by phone only email. Waited one month for some thing that was supposed to come never did I’m in the process of trying to cancel it through email it was $200 don’t ever order anything online through Menards

I was actually happy to find the items I needed that neither home depot nor lowes stocked. I talked to the store manager and expressed my satisfaction with the employee who helped me, and recommended they keep up the good work.
I went back to purchase backsplash trim for one of the items I bought the day before. It was 2.99. I to the register and one of the managers/cashiers tried to state these trims came in a pack and were much more. So after waiting 15 mins I was out the store. This was after walking with a manager and showing them the price was indeed 2.99 and the strips were indeed sold individually. Any other store I’ve been to they would of simply scanned entered it under “general” and let me proceed about my day. Keep in my I spent thousands here and they tried to make it seem like I was lying about the price. Maybe the color of my skins created this bias for them. I’ll go elsewhere for now on

First time shopping at Menards and on first appearance they had what I was looking for and were very helpful finding what I needed. Even though it wasn’t the exact brand and style I was looking for they had some that were still suitable but upon checkout the cashier was rude and had a very smart mouth so my experience leaving spoiled my entire visit so I don’t believe I will return

Went in knowing what I wanted to get and went straight to that department. Needed a larger conveyance as I was there to pick up a total of 5 doors. I incorrectly assumed that there might be some in that area. This was my mistake. I then proceeded to walk around the entire store to locate one. Found one after 10 minutes of searching.Walked past quite a few employees and not one offered assistance - for anything. I was looking down one aisle after another. Some were too busy chatting with other employees about things that were not work related.Eventually got back to the door department and found that, of the 5 doors I needed, only 2 were in stock. Though, the website indicated that they were in stock on these doors. I had options for the same doors saved on my Home Depot profile. I ordered them while I was at Menards for pickup at Home Depot 2 miles down the road. It is important to note that Home Depot does not charge anything for this service. I dont know of anyone who charges for this service - except for Menards.When you factor out the 11% rebate that Menards offers, I spent the same at Home Depot as I would have at Menards. The rebate comes in the form of a store credit but, what good is it if you dont want to go back there? Keep the 11%, your pick up in store fees, and your out of stock situation. I will keep Home Depot as my first choice and Lowes as my second. I will only go to Menards if I cant find what I want at the other 2.This is something that I will grant to Menards, they do typically have a broader selection than the others . But will they have it in stock?
