Good shop good people, recharged my a/c in 30 min and then they replaced my tail light and didnt charge for the bulb thanks guys.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I brought my Dodge Journey here in October of 2019. Brought the car in for brakes and several other things. Not 6 months later I noticed a squeaking noise when stopping. I added some brake fluid and thought nothing about it. On my way to Florida the brake pads and calipers went flying on the middle of the expressway!! I brought the car back in and spoke to Marty. The parts were under warranty but the labor was not. They wanted to charge me $250 do a whole new brake job. $250 for something that wasn’t even my fault? The guys in here are friendly but in reality all you get is poor workmanship and an outrageous price. I guess I learned my lesson of letting the “new guy” in town work on my car. I really wanted to like this place but very disappointed in the service.

Went there for the first time and had an issue but Marty took care of it right away. They are very good and have excellent customer service. I had a chance to see Marty and Mike go beyond what was required for a family today when i was picking up my truck. I would recommend and i will go back. If they continue this they are going to do great..

My barber recommended me to them. Replaced my engine for $3K less than Midas (with 20K fewer miles than Midas). Haven’t had any issues with the engine. Just had all my breaks done for a very reasonable price too.I have a 2010 model SUV, so I’m beyond going to the dealer and the chain mechanics. If you looking for a no frills, quality work, reasonably priced mechanic I highly recommend them.

Was there for an oil change they took great care of my daughter and I! Didnt try to sell us anything we didnt need. And got us right out the door. I will absolutely use them again and I will recommend my friend and family to use them as well.

By far the nicest people I have ever met. Did my repair for way less then I got quoted somewhere else, explained to me exactly what was going on word for word step by step. Gave me a free tow, And then I was having a problem with my debit card and couldn’t get $60 more dollars that I owed them, the guy marty at the front told me not to worry about it. Amazing service!! Brought my Mercedes into this shop and the staff were informative and friendly. I am not very educated in the mechanical aspects of cars, so I wasnt sure what the issue was but my car was shaking when I slowed down. They offered to do the diagnosis for free and quickly were able to tell me what was wrong with my car. They did the repairs right away and after calling some other shops nearby I am sure I got a great price! My car is totally fixed now and I have never had such an easy experience servicing my car. I would highly recommend and will definitely not take my car anywhere else!

Perhaps not the value I was hoping for.Original review: They took care of both of my vehicles--at the last minute--over the course of two days. They did a great job at a very good price and fast; handling brakes, a clutch and flywheel, a thermostat, and a simple oil change. We will be back...but hopefully not soon!

So my engine went out on me about a week ago. I went to a few repair shops around where I live, some of them were telling me it would take a week and others told me it would be a couple weeks and I really couldn’t go that long without a vehicle because I work as a Uber driver. So finally I went to platinum automotive which is located on 10 mile and schoenherr in Warren and spoke with the gentlemen at the front desk named mike, he told me it would take 3 to 5 days depending on how long the parts manufacture would take to deliver the used engine I needed. And also gave me a Price that was at least 500 dollars less then everyone else. also the miles on the used engine was 60,000 when everyone else was telling me the engines had 120,000 miles and up. So I obviously decided to get it fixed with them. I literally got a call 2 days later and they told me my car was ready for pick-up. I didn’t expect for them to call me so soon and hadn’t had the time to get all the money together so I told mike that I needed another day to get the rest of the money together. He asked me how much I was short and I told him it was around $200. So he tells me to come in and pick up my car and to bring the money back when ever I had it. That was my first time going there and for them to trust me like that blew my mind. I would never go anywhere else to get my car repaired no matter what the situation is. Marty the owner and his father are the nicest people I have ever met thank you so much guys I really applicate everything you did for me. Will definitely be sending you everyone I know

Fixed my car more than 3 times excellent service

I went to 3 different repair shops to get a transmission put in on my explorer, one place quoted me 2900 and said it would be about a week before they can get started, the othee place said 2600 and it would take them 6 business days to finish. When i finally went to platinum automotive they charged me 2 grand and had me in and out of there. Wouldnt go anywhere else for my auto repair needs, thank you so much marty

☹️SAD. I was looking forward to this place making it. I went there to get an oil change since they had an opening service oil change special of $14.99 . WELL, so much for that, because I ended up not getting the special but paid $34 because I had a van instead of a car. My van takes 4 quart, ok maybe 5. No more, no less than my cobalt. Anyway. then because I didnt have enough cash because I didnt get the special. they wanted to charge me their credit card service fee of $3 for now having to use my credit card. Not to mention, I was able to look into the oil bucket that they had drained my oil into, and um. Pretty sure there wasnt anymore than a couple quarts n the pan, So that means they didnt drain all the oil either. SO SAD. I was hoping they would have been better than Morissettes that was there. It is unfortunate, I wont be back.

When it comes to mechanics its hard to decide whos the right shop for the job. I put my car in the shop on Saturday and they couldnt get the parts until Monday, but thanks to the awesome people working there they opened on sunday and made sure my car was up and running by 10am in the morning. If this isnt the best shop Ive been to then I dont know where is. Ill definitely be going back to them.

I had some real issues with my Ford escape the whole crew stayed late to make sure my vehicle was done that day and that i was satisfied with the work.

They matched my price from someone else not beat. But overall it was handled and dealt with in a timely manner, since they had to go and get the tires.
