The best place to go to sell your gold. Honestly no other place pays as much and everyone thats works there are very knowledgeable and helpful. One time I thought I had 10k gold but it was really 14k and they were honest about it and paid what it was worth. Also Charles taught me some things about gold that I didnt know so not only do they pay well but its a learning experience as well.

Drove from Manassas VA, to Waldorf MD after reading the reviews here. Had gold jewelry (rings, bracelets and chains) that I wanted appraised. Went to 2 other locations before Maxpoint. Met Ula, did an EXCELLENT job explaining the full process. He offered roughly $500 more than both of the previous location. I HIGHLY recommend this company if you are looking to rid yourself of jewelry (or coins). Youre not going to get the full amount of what you paid for your items, but you will get the most back here. If you need to make the drive, make it. Another plus is that it is located in a mall, and Maxpoint was open until 9pm on the Saturday that I made my visit.

So I decided to take it to a local pawn shop.(top dollar pawn and jewelry) Big mistake. They didnt even WEIGH THE RING and offerd me $20. Stormed out of there and went to the gold rush. The gentleman working there was awesome. He weighed my ring did some quick calculations and offered me $144. This was an extremely fair price considering that the scrap value of the gold was around $170.I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. I went in knowing the fair price for my ring and expecting to get low balled. They gave me way more $$ than I was expecting.
