Its a grocery store. The bake goods they sell are superb. They bring in them from bakeries in Honolulu. Very Ono. Their produce does not impress me. Their prices are competitive with the other 3 grocery stores on the Waianae Coast. The staff working there are always helpful smile & are pleasant which makes the shopping experience great. The parking lot while large and uses the space well its not a great experience due to the way the cars are parked.

What ever I cant find at Tamuras WAIANAE STORE got your back. And there shelves are always will stocked never empty.

My second favorite neighborhood store. The sales items are unbeatable, especially if they match the items on your shopping list. I have often given in to the temptation to buy items not on my list. 😁 Very friendly employees and given the high volume of store traffic and the diverse populations that shop at the store, it is well stocked and clean.

Waianae store has everything you need and great prices to boot. Not to mention great poke, fresh donuts and pastries. They upgraded their cash registers to include self check out.

Lots of variety. They have a whole separate liquor section which I think is a smart idea.

Aunty Mona is the sweetest cashier there. Atmosphere is great clean and easy to find most time what were looking for. Self check out is new and easy to use aswell. Great when you have just a few items and in a hurry. The Bakery is our favorite stop to grab our fresh donuts and breakfast bentos. Ive been coming to the waianae store since I was a child, and now I bring my kids here also. The kids know where to get the best donuts in waianae, and its always made daily. Check it out, the accept WIC, EBT SNAP, CREDIT AND DEBIT CARDS. Bring your own reusable bags, or its $0.15© a brown paper bag or $1.00 material reusable bags. They even sale disposable kids and adults face masks from $4.99-$6.99 a pack of 50!!! Check them out. I swear the cheapest place to find your face masks. And stock up❤️

This is my local store. They have da kine fresh fruits and vegetables, (some local grown), meats, fish, and all kine everything like fishing tackle and hardware.Aunty Mika (me) spent $327 last week. .

I am so thankful how close they are. Theyre very friendly and helpful.

The store was dirty, we still got fish qhen we asked if it had chilli peppers in it they said no so we spent almost 40 on 2 lbs. But had to feed it to the dog. It was very hot and due to our medical conditions and stomach issues. I was very upset, not ro meantion it wasnt even that good. So Don go to the fish market

I have worked for Waianae Store since 1972. Some people know by my Mele or Nt Mele. I first met the owners son when I worked at a little shop at Mr. Ah Hee Dung mall by the tastee freeze.That was in 1970. He was a hard man. I got hired by Nancy K. As a cashier. At the time I learned how to lift a door with a heavy chain and a bigger lock. Work on a register that had a crank. We had to learn that 4 percent addition on our own. The old store had holes that dropped water from the rain onto the register. Buckets all put in areas where the rain came in. People came to shop because some came just to say hello.Mrs. Betty Okimoto is a wonderful person. When I couldnt pick up my children she went to Waianae Elementary to pick them up. I had to work.Times were hard but I will always remember the good times out weighed the hard.Today I work in the butcher and I love working with the people. The store is clean. The people on the floor always has a smile when they customer. I only work a certain amount of days and thats fine. Luv u all, Mele

Clean quick and friendly service

Store carries about anything you could want. Plenty of parking. Friendly helpful staff. My favorite section is the fishing section where I bought a rod and reel today along with replenishing my supply of hooks. This store is a true asset for the Waianae community. Every visit has been an enjoyable experience.

They need to check the expiration dates on a lot of their items. Be careful with what you buy.

This is a real life general store in 2020. For those of you who dont know, general stores used to be the only store in towns in rural places before Amazon existed. They carry a little bit of everything and can usually order anything for the right price. Staff was friendly check out was the style where you give them your whole cart, which is awesome, and prices are low! Store has a old timey general store feel with checker tiles and all.

Been here 3 years in Makaha, this is like an old country grocery store where I can find most anything. Pet feed, produce, pastry and plenty goodies for the grandkids. You name it, I usually find it here at a reasonable price. Cant go wrong! Love looking at all the childrens art work on the walls...a real community store.

I love Waianae Store they have it all customer service is like family. I love that they good sales monthly so I can plan meals ahead of time or at the moment. The vegetable area always have fresh fruits and vegetables. The meats has increased with more varity. Moreover the bakery before the pandemic my family loved that you could chose how many donuts you wanted instead of buying prepacked donuts. Picking the amount of donuts you want is something that appears something of the past. Keep it. I especially love the chocolate eclairs soooo good. Waianae store is the only place I buy it from. The cashiers are all some. They always trying to help you out with getting more for your money with sales items. I love that you dont need a coupon. I am very satisfied with Waianae store.
