The Sack N Save is a great mid-sized supermarket. I walked over there right as they opened at 5:00am, and the people there were extremely friendly and helpful. I got everything I needed and checked out nice and fast.

Sack n Save is always a great store to shop at. Not today I went there for steaks. Apparently their refrigeration for the meat broke so they had to discard it all. Other than empty spaced & no meat to be seen. No signs or humans to explain what the issue was. Plus store was not as cool as usual. Staff cheerful though & very pleasant.

Way over due for a makeover. Place is dirty. But they have very good customer service. Cashiers are nice and some are engaging. Rated 3 because more than twice Ive bought dairy products that had not expired only to find them rancid when opened.

Today stopped at Sack and Save on my way home to buy rosstorie chicken, 2 juice cost .97 each, 2 scoop rice and 1 liter ice cream the Tilamook kind. So, got the cashier, she rang my items up and the total came up to $42 dollar and some change. I was confused, I asked the cashier what did I buy that was expensive? The 2 scoop of rice cost $22.67. Check your receipt before leaving the store.

Prices are a bit high and definitely little to no specialty items like vegan alternative cheeses or coffee creamers or gluten free breads/ food alternatives. Employees are pleasant

Enough said bottom line is you need to go and experience it yourself so go and go with an open all your senses and check it out feel the power.

Overall this store is great!! A deli, bakery, and poke department...would be a five star if they were open later like 1am perhaps🤔 since its the only supermarket on the westside that is open past 8pm....they close at 11pm👎

I usually do my grocery shopping here because its close to my home. But I slowly stopped going as often due to their floor workers always being seen following me around the store as if Im going to steal. Mind you,I have NO REASON TO STEAL,I have a FULL TIME job&I pay CASH to purchase my groceries(also the torn paper bags). I shop here so often that you would think by now every floor walker they have should know a familiar face(and I used to work for the company). Also,the service here isnt as great as it used to be. Stood at the Deli for a good 5min before anyone even acknowledged me(there was no one else in line). Spoke with management who had a body language as if he didnt even care&just said,Ill talk to them! Besides all that, the products are great(especially produce)&the prices are just as great. But if you dont want to feel uncomfortable shopping at this store,I would suggest Foodland Kapolei!

Convenient location and good food deals

Geraldine the cashier was working in the 8 items or less express lane. On this particular day, I only had a $55 budget to get as much food for my family to last at least up till pay day which would be Friday. I stood in line and was so caught up in doing my math that I didnt realize I was standing in the express lane of which Geraldine the cashier made sure I was aware of and the next customer after me and the customer after that. Fair enough, I apologized. She started ringing me up. At this point, I hand over to her 2 EXPIRED MAIKAI REWARDS for my product of the week which was a can of Hormel spam and a dozen of eggs for $.99. Of course I realized that my rewards had been EXPIRED but Ive used all my expired ones for the product of the week. What I was told by another cashier in the Aloha Stadium location is that if the rewards are expired I wouldnt be able to redeem them for Hawaiian miles but for 5% off and product of the week I can. Geraldine sees my rewards are expired and once again decided to put me on blast by telling me ... this time I will let you go but, next time I wont accept your expired rewards... I just humbly nodded my head ok thank you but she throws her pen down in front of me and so now my whole demeanour changed. I lean over and asked her ok wait maam, can you explain to me the right way to use these REWARDS because just yesterday my children shopped here and redeemed 2 rewards and had no complaints but, now here you are telling me next time you wont accept my rewards. I thought only the Hawaiian miles cannot but for the rest, CAN... She notices the irritation in my voice and says to me oh, I give the Hawaiian miles points too even if EXPIRED... Im like WHAT? I DONT GET IT BUT THANK YOU. TOO COMPLICATE. I always loved shopping Foodland and Sak n save but now I think well just stick with Tamuras. I left the store with a bad attitude which was unfortunate because I survived the whole day running errands and running into some complications at times without this irritating feeling. 😤😔

I asked a meat department person if he can check the back freezer for a larger Turkey in the back freezer. He wouldnt even go in the back to take a look.

Always an easy trip - no real wait time and easy to breeze through the store. Workers are friendly and always on top of it. VERY helpful, treat you like family - they are one big Ohana down there! Always greating with a smile and remembering your name and Ohana. I always can find great deals especially in meats and produce. Seafood is ono! Love the store more than any of the others. The Sea food deli is definitely the best. The Food land Corp could spruce up this store. Needless to say the Westside is a poorer section of Oahu thus the no frill, lest upgrading, less spent $$$. It is what it is. A poor downtrodden area.
