This place has everything. A one stop shopping experience. Restaurants are good too.
It has a little bit of everything on the inside. Loved it!! And all the hand made items.
Great place to visit on a rainy afternoon, with lots of shopping upstairs and numerous restaurants as well. plenty of parking, though it is marked as 2 hour only. all the shops are connected so you can pick up things from any shop and pay once. fitting rooms and rest rooms are available. items are pricey and most could be found online for cheaper, but a fun, cute place to wander around on a rainy day or on your drive to austin
Spice is a must when I visit Waco. Cutest place with the largest selection. And the stairs are the perfect size for my feet 🤣
This is a neat place to shop. They had tons of different vendors there. Something for everyone. We stayed at the Hilton and walked over. The staff was so friendly and helpful. There are several places to eat around the block. This place is a must see when touring Waco.
Very nice place to shop ! But the wooden stairs need a little more longer for people who have a size 10 shoe size and up!
Ive been going to Spice since before I lived in Waco, so for about 10 years. Its never quite the same from one time to the next, so its always a fun new experience. I actually really liked their temporary location theyre at right now due to the damage at the usual location. I think its really cool to be able to shop and support so many local small business owners and artisans in one place.
Really enjoy visiting Spice Village. There are so many interesting items from different vendors: clothing, crafts, gifts, toys... I loved the retro style toys for kids with their vintage packaging and all the options available for home decorating including candles, wall art and signs. Definitely a great place to go shopping.
I dont really have a reason not to give it five stars. Large amount of clothes, yes. Large amount of Knick knacks, yes. Huge kids area with toys and baby items, oh yes that was my favorite. A bit overpriced, well of course what do you expect 🤷🏼♀️ its Waco, and people have to make a living somehow. Youll definitely lose track of time so do yourself a favor, set your timer, youll thank me later. They also rent out a space for parties, not sure on the hours allotted, but for $200 I hope its not just an hour 🤔
Love it. Everything they sell is beautiful and at great price compared to all other nearby stores. The original place was under construction when we visited cant wait to go back and see it all remodeled.
I had the reviews about Spice Village and saw that it was considered one of Wacos top places to visit. I was so disappointed. First the Spice Village was at a temporary location. Secondly, it was a boutique. It seemed like a cute place to shop but most items I could find in my local boutiques.
A shopping mecca all under one roof. Home decor, clothing, jewelry, furniture, gifts and more! Get ready for sensory overload. :) Its in a temporary location. Was a little hard to find the store at first, its right next to Stumpys. Plenty of parking around. Have fun!
I adore visiting Spice Village when I come to Waco! I could literally spend hours in there. So many neat, unique, speciality items.Adorable clothes, cute coffee mugs, lots of nick nacks, decor like crazy. If you cant find anything to buy you arent a true shopper. It is a must for me each trip to Waco!Dont go on a Saturday unless you like lines and crowds.
Great place to walk around and look at all the different stuff they have. There is a a wide range of items from different merchandise. They have kids and adults clotheshing, gifts, decorating items, house stuff, seasonal and Christmas items. There are restaurants near buy you can walk to and some hotels. Located in downtown waco, this place is definitely a great place to visit while in waco. Check this place out, you will not be disappointed.
I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt for their extremely rude and TERRIBLE customer service skills, but after reading review after review complaining about the same thing I can see it’s just a never ending problem. I’m not from Texas, and saw that the hotel I am staying at recommended going to spice village. Thought I’d give it a shot. I saw that they closed pretty early, nbd. Went over there and because they were closing in about 10 minutes I decided not to go in, rather poke my head in to just look around and see if it was worth coming back another day. A sales associate standing near the cash register glared at me and said “uhhh we’re like closing in 10 minutes sooo you can’t shop…” in the absolute rudest tone and in the most unprofessional way. No hello or anything, just a downright rude infliction and tone. Imagine Regina George from mean girls but worse. Meanwhile there were other people browsing the store! Needless to say that, no, it is not worth coming back; not because of their merchandise but because of the awful customer service. Coming from someone who is worked in customer service do better. Seeing as this has been a recurring issue for years someone needs to fix it and put the store employees in check.
Really fun to walk around and very cute
LOVED THE SELECTION! Cant go wrong with prices and the environment. Lovely staff and makes the Waco visit such a good time.
When you first walk you there are stars going up to the 2nd floor where Spice Village is. There is an elevator but I wouldn’t call it wheelchair or stroller friendly. There’s so much merchandise and customer, everything for sell is cute and most everyone is nice but there’s just not enough room to move around, you have to go with the flow of the crowd and if someone is going the other way then someone has to push themselves into the shelves to get out of the way. There where so many things I wanted to get. I found something for everyone in my life that made me think of them, but’s it incredibly expansive. Example, a basic plastic beed, stretchy, bracelet $35AMAZING place to experience at least once, but the price, crowds and lack of moving space. I don’t want to do it again.
Wide selection, decent prices, and very helpful staff.
Spice Village is always a fun place to go when family and friends come to visit Waco. They always have all of my game day needs and the CUTEST earrings!! From funny knick knacks to beautiful dresses, Spice Village always lets me know what I need!
Loved this shopping experience! The perfect place to find gifts for anyone, and a fun time shopping either by yourself or with others!!
They have moved to a new location temporarily due to remodeling. They have really cute things.
I didn’t know what to expect when I first heard about this place. I first thought this was an Asian market based off the name. Boy, was I pleasantly wrong.Ascending up the escalator, my eyes are inundated with so many things; I didn’t know where to start! If you need to buy someone a gift, no matter the gender, age, or personal preference, they will have what you need. You need to buy someone who enjoys a “rustic” feel? They got it! You need to buy someone who is the jokester in the family? They got it! You need to buy someone who has a child or baby? They got it! I think you get the picture.I definitely will recommend this place to anyone who visits Waco.
It was a super cute store, and the staff was very nice! I loved the variety of products.
Its alright, not a lot here really but there are some good stalls with cool stuff.
Cool place to find great nic nacs and decorating ideas.
Theres lots of cute stuff. The layout wasnt what I expected. I thought they would be individual shops but everything is segmented within one large space.
Fun place to go. Large selection of things both home-made and retailWas a great place to browse and find unique things you wont see anywhere else.
Wonderful place to shop and find all types of items in one place! It is amazing how many different styles and gifts you can find here! I love how helpful the staff is and how the management of each shop takes such good care in keeping things stocked. Love visiting every trip to Waco!
This place was amazing. Bright and colorful, lots and lots of shoes, clothes, homegoods etc. Fun place to check out, wished I would have had more time.
Wide variety of crafts, gifts, jewelry and more.
An overload of awesome. Something for every taste. The staff is energetic and welcome. Elevator access to the second floor. Shuttles run to Magnolia Market. Take your friends, take your credit card, take your time.
I have made an annual trip here to shop with my colleagues and then to have lunch at Ninfas Mexican Restaurant on the first floor. There is soo much to shop for with all kinds of unique gifts, accessories, clothes, shoes, jewelry, candles, soaps, cards, pictures, decorations, wine, olive oils, etc. - old things, new things- its amazing! They do have an elevator for folks who prefer it over the stairs. The ladies are very friendly and very helpful. Prices are average to high on some things.Ninfas Mexican Restaurant is always delicious - time and again- on every item I have eaten there. My favorites are the Crawfish Enchiladas and the Lump Crab Burrito. Drinks are awesome too! Prices are great.
I went shopping there today with my wife, on her birthday, and after walking all the way up those stairs Im stopped by a young girl and Im told I have to wear a mask, this is nothing new! I informed her that I have a medical condition and I actually have a note from my dr saying I cant wear a mask due to my medical condition! She replied with, we dont do that here! Wow, you dont honor peoples medical conditions? I said so Im fairly sure what you are doing is illegal! So, she leans over to the girl at the register and asks, are we allowed to do that and the girl even says, no you have to wear a mask regardless! Since Ive already checked with ADA, I know yall are wrong! So, I asked, dont you want to see my drs note and she said no! I went to the Silos next and they asked if I had a mask, I informed them of my drs note and they said not a problem! I informed them of how I was treated at your store and they also said that sounded illegal! Yall might want to have your young girls get educated before yall get a lawsuit! They should check with the management before guessing! Ill never step foot in your store again because you clearly dont care about your customers!
This place has a lot of cool stuff! Pretty awesome experience and their staff is super helpful! Robin showed us around and went the extra mile to help us find items that would work well in our home! She was great!
Great place to shop. A little bit of everything! We were wowed by this store
Seemed like a lot of people have individual booths of stuff for sale in there. A good variety of things with varied prices.
Fun place to shop around. Lots of unique items. Very colorful, lots of items, even my husband had a good time.I like the homemade candles and scented wax.
Something for everyone. So many options for everyone. From candles, and clothes, to snacks and decor. A little on the expensive side but worth it to have it all in one spot. Id recommend anyone visiting Waco to stop in. Make sure youve got time to look through it all.
Went here recently and I never wanted to leave...two floors filled with beautiful things--from childrens clothing that are one of a kind, to handmade rustic decor, to candles, to clothing that are really unique, and on and on. Best thing of all was finding way at the back tucked behind some boxes a strange cardboard lifesize figure of Donald Trump (before the election) and we of course HAD to take pictures with it.
Lots of amazing goodies!
Such a great shopping place with so many different vendors to shop from! Its the best one in Waco. The place is pretty big and you can always find something cool or cute to purchase.
It was very interesting. I really enjoyed the variety of items for sale and all the little shops within. Plenty of room, great location, friendly workers. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit there.
Abundant selection, friendly and very helpful staff.
Really cool shops and phenomenal staff. Mary was very kind and genuinely helpful. Ill be back
I thought the store had a few strange but satisfying items. My main issue was price point, as everything seemed excessively expensive. Probably the most infuriating thing was a collection of old books that had the pages unbound and pictures removed to be sold individually.
Love this place! Ive been coming here for quite a few years and they always have something (well lots of things really) that are interesting and unique. Bought their Spice Village candle wax and now my whole apartment smells delicious. The diversity of the different little stores means there is always something new and exciting to look at. There is something for everyone up there.
Really fun place to browse. A variety of items at reasonable prices. Within walking distance of Magnolia Farms with lots of other shops along the way to stop and browse in too
BEWARE! You will loose track of time & possibly your spouse. I think I finally found my wife 1 1/2 hrs in after we both started exploring and seeing all the unique finds spice village has to offer. Definitely worth the trip and stop as we left with quite a few items.
Great place to shop
Spice Village has something for everyone! I was able to knock out a bit of Christmas shopping. It’s also just a fun place to browse – from boutique clothing to quirky antiques. Aisles and aisles of vendors. Leave yourself plenty of time. The market is located within easy walking distance of many other shops and restaurants. This is a must-do if you are visiting Waco!
Wonderful selection of antics and beautiful jewelry and trendy clothes, decorations and the place is huge and well organized.
So much to see. So. Many. People. Good grief, the place was packed. PACKED!Tons of eating options available in the area as well. Made for a nice day trip for visiting family and I intend to return at a later, preferably less congested day.
Lots of vendors selling a multitude of items. Great place to shop when looking for a special gift.
Cute shop. Tons of gift stuff for anyone. Adorable Baylor gear
Quite the experience!I wish I had more time to explore each aisle, but I found some gems.Had to get a photo on the stairs ☺️
We stoped thinking this was a spice and kitchen store. It’s more of an everything store and it was a pleasant surprise. We bought a few things and would definitely suggest that if you are in the area, stop and check this place out.
Great shopping experience with unique items. I would definitely recommend
This shop was so much fun to walk through and browse. So many great and unique things. One could easily spend an hour or more here to see everything! The staff was friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a special and unique gift or a great souvenir this is your shop!
Great store. youll find great clothes, home items, jewelry, candles, etc..
I could spend all day at Spice! Awesome selection and friendly customer service.
Nice cluster of stores with a diverse selection of items. It was fun shopping there and parking was free!
I loved the variety and it gave me a great place to plan a wedding gift!!
It is a must stop if you’re passing through it is perfect for the holidays they have something that everyone in the family will love. I have been with all types of people my parents, sisters and friends. Everyone has always left with a little something to make there day. Staff is great really friendly and always around to help. Please stop it’s awesome.
Best place ever. 60 boutiques in one building. Was worth the drive from SD to TX just for this place. Nice product in every booth. Not a junk mall!
If you enjoy gift shops and a one spot shop for random gifts, this is for you. It is a huge store filled with tons of vendors ranging from sports apparel, lingerie, socks, candles, jewelry, home decor and more. Leave a trail of breadcrumbs because you might get lost!
I LOVE this place. I could have spent all day in here
If you’re looking for new, this is the place for you. If you’re looking for old and unique, not so much. I was under the impression that this was more of a vintage/antique market. It’s actually mostly new home decor items made to look vintage and boutique clothing. There was one booth (Nailed It) in the back corner that I enjoyed, as they had real vintage items.
This is definitely worth the stop. Lots of vendors in one spot and reasonably priced. Things for men, women, kitchen .... youll find something to purchase for sure.
WOW. There is so much to look at and take in, BUT it is a great place to find little Knick knacks, things you never knew you needed, gifts, beautiful decor, and amazing clothes! This place is a great conjunction with Magnolia and The Findery. They are all three locate in the same area. 10/10 recommend.
Cute shops, not too expensive. A good day trip.
Cool place to find unique fun gifts for many people. Get there early to avoid the crowds. Didnt buy anything because the checkout line was too long. They should have people walking around with those portable credit card machines so you dont need to stand in a line. Otherwise, its a cool place, worth checking out. Cafe downstairs was the best part of the whole experience.
A girl named Jessie went out of her way to help me find the perfect pair of shoes for a very important first date. She was extremely helpful and very nice!
So many things to look at. You can find anything you want. Gifts for every person in your life.
Fun collection of shops. Great way to spend some time in Waco, looking through their huge selection of various boutique inventories.
If your not worried about price then youll love spice village. They have something for everyone and good hand made items from mostly local vendors. A good place to go on girls day out for shopping.
They have a lot Stoff there, you will definitely find a Gift there.
Had to return something from Christmas. The assistant manager was very helpful. Got store credit .I could spend anywhere at Spice. Well I did and of course spent more as well. Spice has changed alot since I was last there. More stuff and better selection. Great place.
Note: currently in temporary location.
Amazing store. They have so many different types of items here. You can find gifts for those who are hard to buy for. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is very clean and the prices are great too. I loved all of the different choices and types of goodies to purchase. I will be returning.
Very cool! Really awesome place especially if youre an out of state tourist. Lot of cool local crafts and products, and its easy to kill an hour or an hour and a half in here.
I loved this place better than Magnolia. It has thousands of thing to look at. All are super adorable and reasonably priced. The candle spice village is by far my favorite candle scent. They have the cutest coffee cups and jewelry.
I can spend hours in this fun place!
