One of my favorite stores for a quick visit. Has everything other stores have, about the same price, but half the wait in line. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, & they actually want your business.
Worst Walgreens.Four hours to fill a simple single prescription then sat in the drive through for 35 minutes behind 3 cars to pick it upClearly way understaffed
Horrible pharmacy experience! The lady who checked my mother in to get her Covid shot was extremely rude when she went in on the wrong day for her appointment. She is 71 years old and mistakenly went in on Monday instead of Tuesday and instead of confirming her appointment time/date she cut her off telling her she needed to make her point to my mother before my mother was able to speak to ask her questions. Very disappointed! This lady usually isn’t at this location so not sure if she’s new ? But definitely needs some customer service training
I love going to this Walgreens!Everyone is do helpful and nice. The pharmacy is amazing. Always concerned about me, my needs and very helpful at all times. Even when they are very busy extremely efficient!
I went to buy a Nexium 24 hr. that ended up being on isle 14 inside a locked shelf box. I asked the pharmacy for help and they quickly called for help on isle 14 - after about 5-7 minutes, I figured staff was busy but realized I had seen 5 customers come and go via the mirrors lining the back of the store.Lo and behold, I went to the front and asked a worker if I could get some help getting the medication:Excuse me, I have a quick question. Could I get a medication that needs to be unlocked? The worker, as she takes a step away from me and adjusts her mask (I was wearing one too, although I may have stood 4-5 feet away instead of the recommended 6 feet), raised her eyebrows, paused, and said, Someone will help you right now. and walked away.I excitedly hurried back to isle 14 ready to point to the Nexium 24 hr. box and rehearsed my line - Yes, that one! I rehearsed again. And again. 5 minutes later, I rehearsed again. Another 5 minutes later, I realized that my rehearsals may have been in vain. I allowed one tear out of my left eye and proceeded to the pharmacy counter (the cool, nice people).Excuse me, quick question: is it pharmacy that would help me to get a medication thats locked on isle 14, or would it be a front staff member? That would actually be him (pointing to a guy in a black shirt with keys that - now this will blow your mind - unlock the plastic boxes containing the infamous, elusive Nexium 24 hr. My mighty savior in black helped me out and asked if Id been waiting long, to which I responded Yeah, about 10 minutes. My vantablack-sporting savior tapped the help button with a lovingly chastising gaze and responded, Yeah, you shouldve pressed the button, man!I had recognized the good-natured verbal joust and chuckled as any 26 year-old would during a global pandemic named after a somewhat refreshing beer (I understand the official naming conventions for COVID-19 btw, Im just verbally jousting) and retorted with, Yeah man, I asked a worker up front for help about 10 minutes ago and she assured me Id be helped. Unbeknownst to my savior who was wearing a shirt as black as the inside of the event horizon of a supermassive black hole, he defeatedly conceded that the message was not relayed to him.My heart sank.I let out a second tear, but this time from my right eye. I assured him that it wasnt his fault and pleaded for him not to worry about it. I then began my excursion to the front. Would I once again run into the mask-adjusting woman? Only fate or the probabilities of quantum particles at the smallest measurable levels of existence and those of theoretical levels could tell.I walked up to a check-out area as desolate and quiet as the western Fresno County almond and garlic fields. To my surprise, I was smeckledorfed by the One Who Adjusts PPE as she took her post at a cash register just as the gatekeeper of an interdimensional paradise would. The transaction for my treasured Nexium 24 hr. proceeded as any other Walgreens transaction would, which spoke to the simple complexities of life we all face. I thanked the gatekeeper and she wished me a great rest of my day.As I walked to my car, I began to reminisce and ponder the experience Id just had. Was my manly, definitely Type A, Tommy Bahama scent offensive? Do they know that I loathe Trumps dictatorial flirtations because of the Biden/Kamala decal I have on my car? Is this the part of Visalia in which I am not welcome due to my beautiful caramel skin? Does my blue Spider-Man shirt with a red spider insignia hold too must great power and great responsibility?I sat in my car and stared at the smoke-filled stagnant air as the sun did its best to shine its lifegiving, nutritious rays onto an unsuspecting populace. Its poetic, really. I was like the suns rays; I too descended into madness. I was the microcosm all along.Basically, dont be rude & help your customers out faster, guys. Especially when theres like -7 people in the store lolEdits: historical accuracy, grammar, poetic prose, poetic syntax, Papa Johns
Ive been to all of the Walgreens in Visa and this one is the best!!! Staff is amazing and their Manager, Cesar rocks!! He was so patient with me in finding an item and went truly out of his way to help me tonight. Thank you so much and this will definitely be my hometown Walgreens!! ❤
Great staff! Always friendly and willing to help! Store is always clean and checkout is fast.
Drive thru is a joke! They allow people who have issues with paperwork and insurance to take care of it in the drive thru when they should make them go inside.. lady continued to argue for 20 min and they allowed it!
Pickup meds for mom no towelet for carts or sanitizer for in-store use
Did a online order never got a email for me to pick up my order and when called to check if it was ok for me to go pick up my order they didnt even knw who to transfer me had me on hold for 32. Minutes . just hung up and drove over .. Never again getting order shipped to that walgreens.
I wish they would post the lunch break on here. Now i have to wait 40 min for them to come back. Thanks for the heads up. Everyone gets a lunch break. I have no problem with that. Just let people know. Love the way they do what they want and srew the people.
Fast and courteous.
I always find deals here, love the points. Ive had some hickups but the staff on site were very helpful. I always leave content.
Went there one time only and it was a great experience. The manager informed me that he always opens early when he sees people waiting in the parking lot. It was 10 minutes before 8am, luckily he has that initiative and I was able to get what I needed before I was late to work. He was very polite and professional. He looked like management, and well deserved. That kid has a future.
Rushi is an excellent pharmacist. Rushi took the time to speak with me and listen to what I had to say. He expressed that the most effective customer service is that of two people partnering a plan. The customer and the provider. As a certified mental health specialist, that is exactly what I know is most effective and I am so glad that there is someone in the pharmaceutical business that not only understands this, but practices it.Go see Rushi today & youll see what I mean!
I switched from mail order to this Walgreens when I moved here 3 yrs ago. The pharmacists, Rushi and Andrew, are amazing. From calling my doctor for new Rxs to arranging for a 90-day supply, to switching so that all of my Rxs come due on the same day to giving the best flu, shingles, and pneumonia shots. They send a text when my Rxs are ready. I pay by phone and then go to the express pay line to pick them up. All the pharmacy staff, especially Carolyn, are wonderful!
Pharmacists here used to be professional, never all that friendly, but they did their jobs. Now when I go in I never know what to expect. Ive been lied too by two different pharmacists and three of the techs at this one location over a three year period. My phone application will say something is ready, Ill drive down just to have them say come back tomorrow...why? So I dont have a weeks worth of extra meds because i fill it 1 day early every month? (372-365=7) Perfect example of why big business is bad. Now that theyre the largest chain they dont care about people. That $80,000,000 lawsuit because they screwed up is now being taken out on the customer. Independent pharmacists should be happy; I will never trust or use Walgreens again anywhere for anything, I wish more people would do the same...it took me way too long to switch. Now Walgreens is going to move the headquarters in an attempt to save $5,000,000,000 in taxes over a 4 year period. They dont not only care about customers as individuals, theyre going to screw over America as a whole.
I use walgreens pharmacy for all of my family pharmaceutical needs. I recently transferred from the Walgreens on court to the walgreens on akers in visalia, as it is much closer to my home. I hate to say this but I have had such an aweful experience (an experience that empowers me to write a nasty review..who has time for this?) I have had such a difficult time filling my prescriptions with this pharmacy. For some reason there is always a huge disconnect in communication between the pharmacist and my physician. The pharmacist sent a verification request, my doctor never received it. The verification was finally received after a week battle. Although I have no control over the system of communication somehow Raji the pharmacist at walgreens on akers made this my issue stating that it is my responsibility to ensure the doctor responds. Of course it was a weekend and my physician was out of the office... on Monday After a long weekend without very important meds...i continued to call and getting frustrated with my physician..per recommendations of the walgreens pharmacist..Raji..the dr office said the prescription was verified over a week ago and the medication was ready to be picked up. Well it turns out the medication was sent to the other Walgreens on court. Over a week ago Raji!!!!!! This was very frustrating to me as Raji insisted that I continue to call and harass my doctor because again its my responsibility. I went over a week without a very specific medication because of the failed communication between my doctor and the pharmacist and I know that if Raji would have checked his system a week prior instead of having me call my doctor every day and not have my medication for over a week (that caused very intense side effects) all of this could have been simply avoided. Raji please do not disregard the people of the community. I am very dissatisfied with the service you have provided. I will no longer be using the pharmacy on akers. I am a registered nurse and I completely understand the complexities as a pharmacy, but there is no excuse for the loss of compassion. Shame on you .Raji, It was so funny that you were able to see that my prescription was refilled at the other walgreens once you opened your computer. I am so irritated!!!!!!!!
Horrible customer service... guy demanded I purchase something just to get change, then denied me a refund. I left the candy bar there anyway - they CLEARLY need the fifty-nine cents more than I do.Go elsewhere, people. They do NOT care about the consumer.
They didnt have some items in stock
My credit union has the ATM inside Walgreens as NO FEE. I was charged 3.00 to use it. Avoid using this ATM. Go to Cosco its no fee. Also school credit unions are no fee.
This store has friendly employees who are already ready to assist customers with a smile. The store is very clean and well stocked.
Illegally asking for ID when I wasnt the one even purchasing anything. mind you I am of age but not the customer purchasing
Horrible, horrible customer service!
They are rude... whenever you want to pick up your prescription by the drive thru.. they make you wait until there are no customers inside... they dont care if you arrive before the customer who is inside, they just make you wait...
