Manuel was first to help me find a cars that were in my price range on the first day, but was not able to. So when a car did come along, he left a voicemail and I came over the next day. Sadly he was off, but Abel was assisted me with the car that was mentioned. Both gave an excellent service and Im happy with my buy. Brian from finance helped us with the paperworks with a smile and great conversations. Ill definitely be back again

We were out of town, from San Diego.Carlos helped me and my wife out. We needed tires. He setup an appointment for next day at 8am. We were out my 10:30. Very Professional Good Quality Service Thank You for helping us out. Ride home was great. Tires road smooth,handling great, road noise level lower, we felt safer. They did a full safety inspection check battery breaks everything all ok. Thank you very much.

On Sep. 14 around 8Am dropped off my truck for transmission fluid service, I was told by the advisor it would take one to one hour and half. Almost 2 hours later advisor informed me that the device that extract the fluid off the transmission is down, she asked for 40 min. more, after almost one hour advisor informed that they still have problem with the device that they need another 40 min. to see if they can get the device going or reschedule me . 5 min. later one of the advisor called me that my truck is ready and they have completed the job.I dont know if they really did the job or not, how they have completed the job while the fluid extraction machine was still down .I am not sure about the service but I am sure that I would never go back to Visalia Toyota nor recommend Visalia Toyota to anyone .

Michael White is the kindest and most motivated salesperson Ive ever met. I unfortunately could not have my fiance there to help me find a good vehicle or even discern between an honest salesperson or a dishonest one. Luckily, I didnt need a guy by my side to tell that Michael would be very helpful and extremely honest. He came in early to help me with purchasing an awesome toyota prius that runs great. Hes even remembered me weeks later and sent me an FAQ email with advice in taking care of my car. My fiance is gone and its incredibly kind of Michael to go out of his way like this. Horrible customer service in the service area literally 5 guys behind the counter don’t even acknowledge me the first couple of minutes then one is just sitting there then finally calls me over I had appointment at 11am waiting over two hour just for an oil change.and then they come out to tell me they are barely working on my car are you serious. Great working with Marvin--I was there for an oil change; he processed the intake paperwork quickly, did a cursory check of the car and pointed out some telltale signs of work that should be done, and quotes to consider; he set me up in the lounge and made sure I had everything I needed. Oil change went quickly, and I was back on my way! (But I miss the coffee machine that is disabled because of the pandemic!) 5 stars

This was my first time at Visalia Toyota. I am from the Bay Area visiting and service maintenance message came on. My husband usually takes care of these things but I did this time. Carlos my service advisor was very patient with me and extremely helpful. I thought I needed an oil change, turned out I didn’t. He did call shortly after I left and I needed coolant service, some filters, and H4 battery. I had them complete all the work and was on my way in about two hours.

Made an appointment to get my 2019 sienna in for its last scheduled service and recall issues on the 7th of May. Since they said it was going to take about 4 hours, I made the appointment on my day off. The appointment was made for the 17th and when I get there, they tell me it expired on the 14th and Id have to pay out of pocket. Wouldnt cover the service even though I made the appointment when it was still under warranty or they could have told me and maybe I could have gotten it in sooner. Guy just walked up and said they were going to go ahead and take care of my last service. They do care about their customers.

Ive come here for years for my cars servicing. I havent always had the best care (last servicing it seems like my assigned machinic just disappeared, maybe fired or quit, and I was forgotten about. Luckily once they figured this out, they did everything to give me the best service.)What really impressed me was what I witnessed yesterday. As I was waiting for my appointment, there was an older lady waiting in a car in the service area. An employee came up to her and said I noticed youve been waiting awhile. Is there something you needed help with? She obviously didnt know the process. She was having car issues. The employee found someone right away to assist her. She didnt have an appointment, but they took good care of her anyways. As I was checking in my own car, she was saying how all her family lives so far away.I felt like they took care of her like she was their family. Very patient and made sure she was well taken care of. I just know if that was my grandma, that is the kind of service I would hope she would get. It would have been so easy for them to turn her away as they were busy and she didnt have an appointment, but they still took the time to fix her issues. I heard them tell her the part was still under warranty and would be no charge. And they scheduled her an appointment asap so she wouldnt get pushed to the back of the line.Thank you for taking good care of her!

Yes it’s the only dealer in town so no other choices. They do try hard to give you great service.The biggest issue are:When you call service department you get a answering service first and they just transfer you to an extension and you hope someone answers, hard to get a live person on the phone.The service shuttle is shared with Honda, no good. Have to wait 45 min for shuttle? No way, just Uber! They need separate shuttles or at least two vehicles running

Horrible service department. Went twice about my brakes squeaking when they shouldn’t be because it is a brand new car and both times they said nothing was wrong just a little brake dust. I asked him if he was sure both times and they said yes we just cleaned it and they’re fine. Went to Selma Toyota once and was informed a sensor in the brakes is actually off by a bit and would actually cause the squeaking. Selma Toyota got me taken care of and back on the road. I will rather drive the extra miles to see them than come back here

My wife drove in to get a new key we ordered. May as well get the oil changed while the car was there. The mechanic noticed our air cleaner had been chewed on probably by a mouse. Glad the mechanic was observent with more than changing the oil.

One of the worst Service experiences ever.Its not hyperbole. This review accounts for maybe the 4th review Ive ever left in the history of my time on the internet. Im that choosy. Im also a fairly even keel person and usually understanding and forgiving. This time crossed the line.A number of days ago I received a notice about a recall part on my Toyota car. I called the recall department and was eventually connected with a Service Rep at the Toyota dealership. They told me that a part was on order and would be there by the intended service date. So I schedule a time that was least egregious to my work schedule knowing that I would have to miss out on work in some fashion. Ok, it should be a simple drop off and I can loan a car and get on my merry way.I show up before my 8am appointment and already cars are waiting. Ok, Maybe they have appointments too.Get inside and talk to one of their service reps. Gets my info and asks me to pull my car around which I do. It takes me about 45 seconds to do so and in the meantime the kid has moved on to help someone else. Doesnt meet me at the spot he told me to park. Doesnt explain that hes going to helps someone else real fast. Just ditches me.I hold my frustration while standing there watching him work over all the paperwork and information on another customers car.I think, ok, hes a kid, he doesnt yet understand the finer points of customer service.Finally its my turn. Again.He asks if I scheduled an appointment which he knows I did cause we talked about it before he went off to work with someone else. And he can see it in the computer.He calls over to the parts manager to make sure the part is in.Its not.After I scheduled and appointment and ordered parts with someone from Visalia Toyota days ago.Not only that Im hearing this side of the conversation with the service rep and the parts dept.Im looking for a recall part (names part number)Ok, so we did have a matrix come in yesterdayuh-huhyeahYeah, for the passenger side igniter coil(something like that)ok, must be, thanksWhat would one infer from a conversation like that?Probably the same thing I inferred. They had my part in but they used it on another car. Why do I infer that? Because the service tech asked if I wanted to schedule another appointment because they needed to order the part.I doubt if they read these reviews but if they do: Toyota Visalia, get your stuff together. Train the service team on customer service. Dont start working with one customer only to abandon them for someone else. Honor your scheduled appointments over your walk-ins.Do better.

I remember coming here when I was looking for my first car at 18. I came with my parents to have extra perspective on what my first car should be. We test drove one or two new models with a lovely salesman, but when I asked to see used models he had to mention it to his supervisor. When I kept stating to the supervisor I would rather look at used models than the 2016 models I was met with irrateness and impatience. Essentially I kept receiving a I could be closing a deal with another customer right now who isnt a kid and who wants to buy a model from THIS year. energy. Which was made known to me through the salesmans attitude and general aggressiveness. I talked to my parents and essentially told them getting a car here wasnt worth it because this grown man was giving me an attitude. Like werk sis. I usually love some sass, but this was straight up rude. I eventually got a Toyota from a different dealer in Clovis. They were much more open to the idea of a young adult understanding the want to not buy a brand-spanking-new car as their first car. Im sure the car salesmen here are better now, but that one supervising salesman just left such a bad impression that I remember it YEARS later. Know your worth and know when to walk away. A car isnt worth that much grief.If this incites an angry reaction from your side then it seems I hit a nerve. Anger is a shield for shame. Of course providing bad customer service and being called out on it would cause shame. If it doesnt then thats concerning.Based on other bad reviews Ive read I think the general consensus is to just do better. These people are trusting you and your knowledge of your products. The least you can do for customers is to show some basic human compassion, respect, and INTEGRITY as both a company and individual employees.Also- I dont want an apology or to chat with customer service since it has been years. I hope youve improved your customer service since 2016.

5 star review. The manager Toni gave me quick honest, helpful service and I would recommend this dealership to everyone. I bought the truck the same day and was driving it home within two hours. It was a totally different experience from the Toyota dealership in Hanford where they kept me and the kids for one and a half hours and didnt answer my questions and tried to convince me to buy a truck that I was not interested in. In Hanford, both the manager and salesperson were horrible so the same day I went to Visalia where it was like day and night. At Visalia Toyota, the salesperson, Salvador, went out of his way and drove the truck following me all the way to Clovis. He really helped me out with great service and Im so happy with my truck, both the value and the quality.

They really try to rip off people when they get the chance. Not today little buddy! Go to Freeway Toyota in Hanford! They treat you with respect and honesty! I recently bought a 2020 4Runner here and I was not treated with honesty and integrity. I reviewed my papers I’d signed after I got home. They were giving me approx. $3000 less then they had promised me “on paper” for my 2014 Avalon trade in. I called them on it the next day and they admitted they forgot to give me a $1500 discount; however, the other amount I felt they owed me, they said there had been a “misunderstanding “. They would not back down, even when I asked to see my file and showed them on paper where they had written the deal I had agreed to, not the one they had actually given to me. So I asked for 2014 Avalon back and they rewrote my loan. I wish I’d just returned the 4Runner too and gone elsewhere.It was just an awful ordeal. I won’t be buying my next Supra from them. I think they are very good at what they do: they are slick salesmen. ALSO: the Christmas “gift” they “gave” me, doubling my Toyota Cares warranties (2 year oil Chg and tire rotation and 3 years for parts was doubled to 4 years and 6 years “free”. ) I found out I actually paid $2500 for that. They said it was “Christmas deal” or “gift” from Don Gropetti. Yeah, NO!

I wonder if this place fixes my car the way they schedule my appointments, it could be worrisome. In the past the service lags but today they were exceptionally worse. I have an appointment at 10am and was told that it could be between a 1 to 2 hour job. I waited until 1230pm when i finally asked thier attendent how much longer it will be and was told that they have not even started. There is no regard for a customers time. Its bad enough that they quote 3 to 4 times the amount of time that other shops take to change transmission fluid. This complete disregard for a customers time to sit and wait in thier waiting room for hours on end with no working internet is insulting!

I just bought a 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser from Visalia Toyota. Besides LOVING the car I had a first class experience from this dealer. Singh test drove the vehicle with me and we had a lot of fun. He was easy going and encouraging and appreciated my choice of vehicle. I really enjoyed his company ~ no pressure at all. He stayed with me most of the time I was at the dealer and set up my blue tooth for me. Tony was my salesperson. He communicated with me in the days leading up to the actual purchase, offered me a fair price, took his time with me while I was there (again I didnt feel any pressure at all) and was just down to earth and friendly. I felt as though I was dealing with really honest people and they had a terrific vehicle for me. The actual mechanics do a great job,Other than that I was less than impressed with the professionalism carried through the establishment ; from getting a wrong phone call telling me my car was done (wrong customer) & driving across town only to be told it would be another 30 min which actually took another 1:15 min to complete to the sales department being less than interested in showing me a nice car since we’re looking to do a trade in soon. Over all it was inconvenient and unimpressive.

My salesmen Chris and Johnny were great and very nice! My first experience negotiating with Visalia Toyota was not the best but after doing more research and gathering price quotes from other dealers, Visalia Toyota was happy to match the competition in price and I saved thousands in total! I can’t help but think the biggest difference was in working with Edgar (sales manager) from my second visit forward. He was very professional, accommodating, and I really felt that he had my best interest at heart. Visalia Toyota did a wonderful job of getting me my dream vehicle (which was located out of town and required a lot of extra work) and at a wonderful price. I went to get an oil change. Got a list of things I need to replace at ridiculous prices. Wanted to talk to the agent who handled my paperwork. He was nowhere to be found. Then a manager asked me if I needed help but in a rude agitated way. I told him I thought the quotes were a little high and what exactly would need to be done? I replies Midas will charge you 318$ I turned around and walked out. As i was leaving the older man was yelling things at me but i did not pay attention.AND AS AN ADDED BONUS. MY FRONT LICENSE PLATE IS DENTED AND THE FRAME IS BROKEN.I will never go back

The salespeople are very laid-back and allow the customer to come to their own conclusions about their vehicles and are very accommodating as well as knowledgeable about their products, services and promotions. Good selection of vehicles and close to the freeway which makes for a fairly convenient location. Some salespeople however will sit in the car while you test drive and use their phones instead of providing information about the vehicle.

Went in for some warranty work. Had a small issue at first, but a phone call cleared that up. Besides the small issue, Toyota did a great job with my warranty work & provided a rental. Work took longer than expected, but David s. from Toyota kept me in the loop on what was going on. Got my car back fully washed and running like a champ. They did not explain fees such as disposition fees u need to pay at the end of lease if u return the car. All they wanted is to sell all kinds of insurance warranties etc instead of explaining costs to customers. Very unprofessional

Visalia Toyota mechanic service is horrible!We took our van in on Saturday to have a recall fixed. We had an APPOINTMENT. We dropped our van off all day to be repaired. We received a call that the vehicle was ready for pick up. Picked up the vehicle and everything was fine.Today is Tuesday, received a call that the part came in and they were ready to repair our vehicle...Wait what? We call to ask what is going on... the gentleman said he is not sure why the gentleman from this weekend did not explain to us that the vehicle was not worked on and that we would need to go back.How unprofessional of you Visalia Toyota!

I have purchased 2 vehicles from here in the past and paid sticker price both times came in recently to purchase a 2018 tundra and they wouldnt even consider me a loyal customer or work on the price for me, they are a bit rude as well.Well that didnt stop me from being a loyal toyota owner and purchasing my dream truck I was visiting family in Ontario ca and stopped by the John Elways crown Toyota and got my dream truck at a price I would have never thought possible.But I do highly encourage you to come over and create your own experience and write your own review.

Service is horrible, I had an appointment at 8am, never received a call, I called at 12:30 left a message never received a callfrom them, then called again at 2:30 to find out my vehicle has not been worked on. I thought appointments would get you out fast apparently not.

Another Awesome buying experience at Visalia Toyota.Our Tundra was totaled last week with only me in it. I went by Toyota a couple days after the accident and the GM Mike assisted me. He remembered me from last year when we purchased the aforementioned Tundra. Although we were still waiting on the insurance company, he said that whenever i found out the payout, to go buy and he would find our exact replacement truck and take care of me. I went by on a Sunday and one of the other managers, Antonio, assisted us in locating the Tundra we needed (it had to have the TRD package and Cement color). Antonio located one and said that we could have it transferred as early as Monday. Monday evening we returned to the dealership and Mike took care of us. He had Rafael finish up the paperwork and we were out in no time. The following day, Mike called me to check on how the new vehicle was working out. Now thats service!In less than a week of my accident, we had our replacement truck with a few upgraded items. Thank you Mike, Antonio, and Rafael for making our car buying experience pleasant, given the return circumstances. This is the third vehicle we have purchased there, one sooner than expected, but probably not the last. If you want a great car buying experience and over the top service, go to Visalia Toyota. I may have to go back and get that Camry now sooner than expected.

Love the car but disappointed in the finance department. Overpaid by at least a few thousand. Bring your calculator and make them go over the money step by step leave the children at home if you have the choice I did not. Should have left and gone back to Bakersfield or Norwalk where I had better experiences. More honesty at those places. Went through the Costco program to avoid this did not work. Gave them another chance. Will give them a chance at service we will see if they can do it. Never been happy in the past hopefully they have improved like the salesman said. Very disappointed.

The dealership is terrible in all aspects regarding service. They ask customers to take a survey but nothing changes. Ive been going to the dealership for 4 years and its always the same slow and incompetent service. No discounts. No Wi-Fi. Extremely long waits regardless of the day of the week or time of day. I would rather they just tell me they dont have appointments available then set one up and then you never know if and when your car will get in for service. They dont call you when the service is done. Even something as simple as updating my address and phone number has not been done. Each time I have to re give them information that somehow it didnt get saved. And the service advisor from before is not there. The turnover in staff tells you something as well. Service advisors I speak with are new and apologize away the errors since they just started. Ive had tools left in my vehicle, wheel locks lost and misplaced. $135 diagnostic fee for something as simple as my window not rolling down. I told them what the problem was and just want it fixed, regardless it was $135. No thanks!

Service Dept. Not as caring as it used to be. Spent thousands in the last few months and got charged because we asked for help to diagnose a problem which I would have gotten fixed there had they not charged me $125 to look at it. ( Which I was not aware of before they looked at it.) Disgusted and disappointed I felt reamed. And now theve lost a loyal customer.

I had my car serviced at Visalia Toyota today and Baldemar Rios was great in explaining all details that my truck needed for service. Amazing that I was taken care so fast and explained to me what was being done. Dont need to experiment with any other service place since I have found that just taking my truck to Visalia Toyota makes me feel sure that the truck will be taking care by special people. I came in a purchased a new Scion TC from Toyota of Visalia. Mark Green was my sales person. He was so friendly and helpful. He answered all my questions about the car and I knew that I had found the perfect one to buy. It had just gotten dark as I was leaving the lot with the new car. The next thing I knew he had gotten out of his car and walked across the lot towards me. He let me know that I had forgotten to turn on the headlights. He checked back with me a few days later to make sure everything was ok. I had a question the next week and he invited me to drop by at my convenience. I am very pleased with my experience and extremely happy with my new car. I will recommend Mark Green ad Toyota of Visalia to all my friends.I also needed to order some parts for my Scion and I dealt with Larry Anderson in the parts department. Larry found the part that I needed and ordered it for me. He even sent me emails letting me know the status of my order and when it arrived. I appreciate the great service I received from him and will come back to Toyota of Visalia in the future for parts for my car. Getting personalized service from a local dealer is much better than ordering off the internet.
