I always walk-in and walk-out without what I’m looking for. I was impressed, though, with the friendly and attentive customer service at this particular Sunglass Hut. Neka (sp?) helped me, from start to finish, find the perfect sunglasses- as well as explained the ins and outs of my purchase. Pricey but the customer service is excellent and I even wanted to exchange my sunglasses after I bought a pair - and they did no questions.

I’ve had great experiences on several occasions purchasing glasses from this particular Sunglass Hut. The store manager Joycelyn 531287 and Breonna 749927 were so helpful that I was compelled to write this review. There’s a huge difference in between department store glasses and the selections you’ll find here. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Having a larger head I usually have to search high and low for glasses that will fit properly. These ladies knew exactly what to ask and found an assortment of frames that would work. The manager was extremely helpful and stated if they didn’t have what I wanted in stock they’d gladly order them for me. Customer service and knowledgeable employees like this are rare to find these days. Because of this I will continue to be a returning customer.

I am very grateful to the Sunglass Hut crew that helped me to find a another shop where to fix my glasses. Thanks so much. Keep it up!

Nice selection of glasses and very informative staff.I brought so many frames from this place which is in the Lynnhaven mall.I need a serious discount from all the money I spent buying 2 pair of frames at a time.I also invited my business partner from out of town to purchase there.

Super nice sales lady. Helped me pick out my new Costas even though she knew she wasnt getting the sale. She was so nice I went and bought her a Cinnabon! Great glass selection!

Decent selection, single employee manning, helpful but not pushy. AMEX offers $50 off for purchases of $200+ currently. Im sure if you ask the desk you can get the same deal/coupon.

I would like to say that the customer service i received at your store was outstanding! Not only were the staff knowledgeable, helpful, and extremely patient; but also had me laughing out loud and thoroughly enjoying my shopping experience!! (anyone that knows me...can confirm that that is a huge compliment!!) Not only did I get the best prices on Maui Jim sunglasses that I have found....but also the free high 5s on my receipt made my day!! Thank you sooo much!!

This small shop on Atlantic Avenue in the heart of Virginia Beach has a better selection of my favorite Maui Jims than stores twice as big. And the owner, Dustin, takes care of you like a friend. I would always prefer to shop locally but especially recommend this shop!

Tried to buy 2 pairs of sunglasses but door was locked with a note saying “be back soon”. Waited 20 mins and still no one at 4 pm on a Tuesday. Don’t understand why they would be closed randomly during their normal business hours.

Young lady that helped me was very polite... However did not have much knowledge about products.

Just bought a pair of costa from here, loved the staff. They made a great team, will be my go to for future purchases

The fact that you check your customers on Facebook is a little unsettling. I had a very negative experience at your store. I was on vacation with my girlfriend and wanted a pair of Oakleys. Instead I was dragged to your Maui Jim display, which I was not interested in. The Owner had a beard and wore glasses stated he was the owner and he had been in business for more than 20 years. I simply wanted a pair of 100$ Oakleys but I had Maui Jims slammed down my throat.It is very disheartening that you would take a negative review and blame it on someone else instead of taking responsibility as a business owner. In regards to my Facebook I am not sure if you are aware of this but not everyone has one. I work for a company that prefers employees do not have social media. As stated previously you looking up your clients on Facebook is creepy and unsettling. I do not have a product number because I DID NOT BUY from your store, nor would I.I would change my review if you had contacted me and tried to offer me a solution, but instead you decided to add insult to injury and accuse me of being a thief. This clearly shows your inexperience as a business owner. I hope you do some digging and learn from your arrogance and run your store better

Very knowledgeable staff and super friendly.....also love supporting the local businesses! Personable communication is a lost art and Ive found that most local businesses definately stand out when it comes to costumer service. SUNGLASS SHACK IS THE BEES KNEES!!!! Definately recommend them!!!! Even got a discount for being a local!
