Absolutely the most helpful staff Ive encountered in any bookstore. When I asked for a specific author, they called around and helped me find the books I wanted. 12/10 recommend going here, and I will be back once I finish reading what I bought.

This is such a fun used book store. Ive been to both locations and there is such a great selection of books. The store is very clean and well organized. I had a great time wandering the aisles.

The Book Exchange is really a wonderful idea. They have good people to help, and they really offer a fair credit for books. My kids always look forward to going. I look forward to going.

The staff are very helpful, and there are so many hidden gems for cheap! my friend got a brand new copy of the bread bible for $17 and im very happy with my two dune sequels, which were just $2.50.

They have a decent selection of books and movies here. The staff are all very friendly and they process trades quickly. The one downside is you can only trade your books in for credit, so while you do get more per book, you can only spend it there. Not a big problem if they have what you want but it is important to know.

This is what a used bookstore should be like. When you trade books in, you dont get just 25% or 50% off other purchases like other places, they just give you credit. If you have $50 in credit and want $10 worth of books, they just mark you off and send you on your way. There is also actual orgazation like a regular bookstore. Super easy to find what I was looking for. It also didnt smell like your creepy great aunts attic like most used bookstores do. This one is on point.

My son, whom i was visiting, brought me here so Id have books to read on the plane ride back home. There was a Barnes and noble in the front plaza, but didnt need to go there! Left with an armful of books. Wish i had something like this back home!

This place is seems pretty cool and family friendly at first, but im gathering that the family may not fully include LGBTQ+ folks. My kid and I went in to see if something was still on their pride display, only to find the display was gone. When I asked what happened, the people working kindly just offered to help find what i was looking for specifically. Bad vibes arent everything, but lack of diversity & exclusionary views are hard to hide.Definitely shop local, but just keep in mind that while staff is always incredibly happy to make great recommendations, it looks that maybe management and ownership might not be as accepting/supportive.

My favorite book store. The employees are amazing and friendly. I always feel like I am coming to a home style bookstore when I walk in. I think you guys are fabulous on Va Beach!

Staff are great and willing to help. Was looking for a specific movie and they even called other stores to check on it. Definitely a great place for used books, movies or music. Great selections and wide range of stuff to pick from.

I love this place. They always have new selections and every employee Ive interacted with is always really nice and ready to help. I visit here typically at least three times per month and Ive never had a bad experience

They have a decent selection of hard and soft covers as well as music CDs and DVDs. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. For shoppers with children, there is even a childrens section and reading nook in the back.

My favorite Place to get my DVDs... Have purchased a few that I have been searching for and a few classics...And always wonderful service from them.

Well kept and very clean for a used book store. Easy to find anything you want as the shelves are well marked to let customers know where to find what they are looking for. Love their policy of taking my used books and giving me store credit for ones they want.

Great place to exchange used books, movies, or CDs for credit. Prices are a bit higher out of pocket, but with trade-in credit you can get a lot of good stuff.

Store was well organized, and clean. Very similar to many chain type used book and record stores. Their prices are off the rails high for their used books though and I did expect to see more when walking in.

I love this used.book store go on Saturdays and you can get books for extra cheap and the cheap books sales go to charity

Good selection of kids books. Staff (who I know saw me) let me stand with an armful of books &a baby in a carrier for about 2min while waiting to check out while they talked about store things. That being said, Ill probably still go back.

Great selection of DVDs, CDs, and books a plenty. Their material are neatly arranged and labeled. The prices are good and reasonable. The staff are nice and professional.I would def like to see a LTBTQ+ book and movie section.

I went there a few times and nobody ever greeted. They greet people who they want to greet.Its petty, yes, but I did not feel welcome in the store. So I just drove 20 minutes to go to another bookstore and bought my books there.

This is a place for readers, you can get store credit for your old books here. This is not Barnes and Noble but they do have a fair amount of current books, mostly fiction and self help books. A decent young reader and teen reader book selection. Prices are about 50% of retail depending on book condition. Very comfy reading chairs and couches if you want to hang out some

This place definitely feels like a secret. I was incredibly surprised to see insanely cheap prices for books that I know for a fact retail at much higher prices. I haven’t brought anything in to trade in but if I ever need to, I know where I’m going

The service was pretty quick. They will donate books they cant sell. Its better than tossing books you cant use or arent able to sell. They give you store credit for your best condition books. The store itself is very organized and casual. Kids books, college prep material, tons of DVDs and CDs.

This is the best book place Ive ever been to in my life, along with Barnes and Noble. Might not have everything new in stock, but all of the books were half of the original price, and we got 3 movies for 12 dollars. Got some great deals on some great books. 5 of my childhood novels I started to collect again cost only 20$. I plan on coming back very soon to exchange some books and get more. 😊👍

Excellent customer service and they have a lot of books to chose from. Great place to find kids books. Very well organized and clean. They also give you store credit for books, cds, and DVDs you bring in.

Positive: Huge selection, friendly and knowledgeable staff, quiet store.Negative: Weird layout, high prices for used books, trade-ins only receive credit, no cash payouts.I probably wont be coming back, despite the friendly help. The books were simply too expensive for used books in fair condition. $5 per book is almost retail cost without the new condition. Also, the lack of trade-in option is a bit disappointing since you cant get cash for bringing books in, only a tiny bit of store credit.

My family loves the store! They sell the books at half of the cover price. They will buy books from you if they are in good or excellent condition at 1/4 of the cover price. They buy movies for $2.50 each if there are absolutely no scratches. They sell movies for $5 each TV series is for $7 each. Because they are so careful and what they buy, the DVDs are always in excellent condition.

Always love coming in here! Probably go every couple of weeks and there are always plenty of new items to look at! Very neat and organized. The staff is super friendly. Cant beat the prices and quality AND you can get store credit for your old books/movies. 5 stars!

Most of the staff is nice and helpful. Not always happy with the price they offer but it is a great way to leave with newer reading material at a reduced cost!One of my secret pleasures...its helping me reduce the volume of books at home. Ive highly recommended it to others.

Love this place! Great selection and a great store credit for my exchanges. They categorize things a little differently than other stores, but since Im looking at every shelf anyway, I find what I need! Staff are always friendly and helpful and can walk you straight to a book if they have it.

I LOVE this place. The prices on the books are awesome, they are always teaming up with the local schools, and the trade-in values are fantastic. There is so much to choose from and you never know what treasure you might find in there.

Lovely...I mean,this place is well displayed, well lit and literally polished like new treasure. The book and music collection is well organised and the shopping aisles are spacious and clear. The front entryway specials on select items are true bargains and I appreciate the friendliness of the staff.

I love going here with my daughter. Its a treasure chest of incredible finds. I spend easily an hour or two here. I love it!

Great value on used books. Be prepared to dig though its not the most organized store in the world but its still a great place to find books just seems like they could try and catalog them a bit.

The store manager followed my children all through the store, staring at them the whole time they were in the store. My 14 year old was afraid of her, she thought the lady was a creepy stalker because she kept following her. So she ran to her sister, who was near by. My 15 year old daughter picked out a CD to buy and when she got to the counter she was told she wasnt allowed in the store unsupervised until shes 18. She wasnt allowed to even purchase the CD because she had to leave the store immediately. Both of my kids have shopped in this store since it opened and never had a problem. I went in the store to talk to the manager to get her side of the story. She informed me that a young person stole something recently and that they just changed the store policy which prohibits minors from going in the store without a parent. Even 7-11 allows 2 kids in the store at a time.

Cool place. They give more in store credit than other places do in cash for used books, DVDs, and audiobooks. Then if you buy a book, you can read it, bring it back, and get half price in credit back even. Awesome local store.

I love this store. Ive brought in tons of books Ive already read and received store credit for new ones that Ive been dying to read. They give 1/4 of the books retail value and sell theirs for 1/2. Its a great deal and I havent found anywhere else that gives that much.They even have a teachers and active duty military discount!

Loved it! Tons of great books at low prices. I got a brand new book for 50 cents! And when you are done with the book you can sell it right back to them.

They didnt think they had a rare book in stock but they still looked for it and actually found a copy for me. They also charged only a fraction of the suggested retail price for it! Definitely impressed me.
