You cant complain on best buy, however, I feel the best buy is one occasional and seasonal shopping. Not every time we get the same so I have to buy things when I find them, though I am not in need of them at that point . I always go for some thing and buy some other things. This place is a show stopper and it takes my sons attention a lot.

No one was there to help, went to buy the item online which read in stock, only to find out after purchasing the item, my order status had been changed to back ordered, reached out online with no help. Then the product got delayed again during shipping. I Thought it was a fluke and ordered an item online for in store pickup only for best buy to set a date for the pick up tell me they would email me when it was ready and not hear back from them until the next day. Reached out to customer support again to have them say they don’t give out when the item will be ready. Won’t be going back to best buy unless it’s last resort even then may wait for another option.

Mainly stopped by to get a new screen protector since I cracked the one I had on. This Best Buy was the closest one on the way home from work. The store looked nice. It was kinda hard to find an employee to help me out since I was looking for a screen protector for an iPhone 12 mini and it looked like they were limited to a few accessories to the mini anyways.It seems like all the employees were busy helping out other customers or didn’t seem friendly at all. I just had to really look for what I wanted and the screen protector I wanted was out of stock. I just went to a different option and the only person that seemed to really took the time to help was this girl working in the Greek squad department. Anyways…personally this location is ok. Would I shop at this location on a regular for my needs for electronics? No.I’ll probably go out of my way to go to the one out at Greenbrier or the one at Princess Anne because I usually got a lot better customer service at those locations.

I came here to look around and to get a pair of Beats buds, every employee here was knowledgeable and helpful. This store has a great selection of products and it wasn’t too crowded. The store was clean and I’d highly recommend this store to anyone in the area. It’s definitely a “best buy” experience here, as it is supposed to be.

Visited this store today because my Boo was buying me a new laptop for my birthday. Found out they had a sale on a Lenova, which is what I had decided to purchase after researching. The staff were very attentive to all of our questions. James C offered comparisons and explained pros and cons on specs. I had my Tech friend on the phone and they pretty much agreed on which device would support my needs. James C even helped me avoid buying the wrong printer for my new business. I appreciate his knowledge, patience, and expertise. I was happy to purchase the warranty and Geek Squad membership which covers all devices in my home. Tell James C your needs and he will lead you to your perfectly priced device!

I would suggest people not go for the protection plan on a laptop after my bad experience, or go to the geek squad for any kind of repairs. Other stores have better protection plans going, this is really just a racket.

I know best buy isnt the BEST place to go when it comes to consumer electronics, but its what a lot of us got that is near us. However, it doesnt feel like Im settling. The staff here are super polite, surprisingly knowledgeable, and very helpful. Will absolutely recommend this specific best buy.

Say it was a great experience. The reason I start that way is because I looked up the product online walked in found it easily purchased it with my Best buy rewards card and left in record time. Sometimes its not about the customer service sometimes its just about the needless cleanliness and safety of the store.

Having some problem with my beats headphones that were a very recent gift. They will not exchange them for a replacement pair because they cant find them in there system. I fail to see how this should be made my problem. With poor customer service i think Ill be shopping for electronics on amazon or anywhere else.

Friendly & helpful staff. I had the same employee ( Amber) help me the last two times I was there. She is great.If there is no one on the floor to help you, just ask a cashier to call someone over for you. I didnt have to wait long, made a speedy transaction and out the door within a half hour.

I went for the first time I didnt find what I was looking for but the place is so big take your time they have a lot of things and its a nice place to go if you want to shop I rated a three but they have different things every time you go from what I hear. You never know what youre going to see. Its interesting I recommend it.

I went inside to buy a watch and asked an associate if that was all they had. He told me whatever was in the shelf is what was in stock. So I left the store, sat in the parking lot ordered online and it was ready in less than 15 minutes. Customer service could be better in the store. Cheers to the employees doing curbside 🙌

My visit was REALLY, REALLY, short. I went to the first store associate about recycling an old TV (which I purchased from that exact store in 2005). The associate said that they recycled old TV for a $30 fee that I had to pay!!! I immediately said OK and left. A $30 fee to give to BestBuy to recycle an old FLAT SCREEN??? OUTRAGEOUS!! I still gave this rating for the associate for his honesty. They lost the 2 stars because of the fee. I finally took the TV to city landfill for disposal; they have collection point for flat screen TVs.

The listed phone # for my local store automatically redirects you to their national automated service,then tells me its only a 10 minute wait. I can drive there in 10 minutes but the point is,I wanted to ask an associate in the physical location a quick but specific question in order to determine if they had what I needed instead of driving there to see . The customer service was great, but the store layout is confusing and seems designed to make customers approach staff for assistance. There were 3 different locations for headphones, several locations for cameras and the same was the case for speakers. The store seems to be sorted by customer type rather than actual product type, i.e. a gamer section, a business section, etc.

Limited selection on big ticket items. Merchandise is spread out and there are lots of items missing full displays. The return policy is only 15 days. All of this adds up to a lackluster shopping experience. The only saving grace is that if you are looking for a specific item, you can check online to see if its available before you go.

Purchased an open-box computer online for local curbside pickup. A representative arrived at my vehicle shortly after I checked in and advised that the item I had purchased did not come with any accessories and was not packaged in a box. They wanted to be sure that I knew what I was getting and would be happy with the item. The system was in excellent condition and I gladly accepted it. Ordered an on-sale laptop online and it was ready for curbside pick up within the hour. Definitely beats shopping in store. I generally dislike shopping instead Best Buy, they definitely arent the store they used to be and the customer service isnt great. As long as you know what you want, online purchase with curbside pick up is the way to go

Best Buy employees buy graphics cards with their employees discount when they arrive to the store to resale them at a scalped price. This should not be allowed to happen. This is unfair for this employee to take the limited stock before customers are allowed to have a chance to purchase the graphics cards. To ultimately resale at a inflated price.

Just want to thank AJ, Patrick, and Emma for the great service. I bought an unlocked cell phone and my service provider told us it was not compatible. I thought I had to change carriers. Took it to best buy where I bought (online, remote pickup) and they cleared it up and got me up and running with my original service. Went back and we bought my wife a new phone there where they helped us move our info. Just a higher level of competence and insight on the different phones and vendors. Thanks. Ill definitely go back. Great customer service.

Its a big retail store. Not sure what to really rate it on. Everyone is normally friendly and helpful but Ive definitely caught attitude from a couple different employees before just for asking where to find something, made me feel like I was bothering them. Thats definitely not the norm there though. Store is normally clean as far as I can tell. Their stock is normally good and I can find what Im looking for.

I went by the store the other day to pick up a fire stick. Walked around I never was asked if I needed help but I was a big boy and found what I needed by myself. It was busy for a Sunday. Glad to see it opened. I have spent a bunch of money at this location over the years.

Hands down, it’s the best Best Buy in the hampton roads area. The selection and inventory is massive, and they’ve got features in store that some others don’t have ( i.e a much larger selection of cameras, an actual Genius Bar for Apple users, and an entire home theater viewing area! ). It’s certainly worth my drive from Suffolk, and the staff is also phenomenal and very helpful.

Outstanding help purchasing a iPhone 12 Pro Max and fellow Jeff working past closing time to transfer thousands of contacts, pictures, tons info from old BlackBerry onto it. Also, reset Verizon service without the aggravation going to a Verizon store. I’ve found the service at this Va Beach Best Buy outstanding. (Same w Woodbridge Best Buy). Ridiculously, for doing nothing Verizon charged $40 for the new phone transfer.

Clean store and friendly workers. Very knowledgeable when it comes to tech, so if you are new to a tech, and have questions Best Buy is definitely a good place to buy! My only issue Ive really had with this location is no Ethernet cable in stock.... I know everyone is wireless now but they still sell network switches and routers which need ethernet and even wireless camera systems need them too. (Arlo for example)

DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM HERE. I bought some top tier Maytag appliances from here slightly over 2 months ago with the expectation of good customer support. My washer went out recently so I had to drive out to the store because apparently the are not taking calls just for them to contact Maytag. So I figured if they can get it working in a reasonable time Ill just keep it. Tech came out and its going to take 4 MONTHS to get the part. So i called them back and they essential said your SOL. I spent 3000 dollars the day I bought the appliances thinking the primum came with the customer support, I was wrong.

Went there to get my Dad a new phone. His was way outdated. Hes not very savvy with things like this, but needed certain things which would help him get around. The employee Laura helped us. Very nice and professional. Did not try to.upsell us. Listened to what he needed and suggested certain ones. Great service all around. She was not in any hurry to push us aside. Took the time we needed and answered all our questions without hesitation. Best Buy is very lucky to have her.

The first young lady that was helping me with my pick up order was awesome. Very pleasant, let me know that someone would bring it up to me in a moment. I told her there was something I wanted to look at and asked if it would be ok if I did that so she could wait on the next person. She said that would be helpful and to come back to her and she would have my purchase. When I got back in line,there were 2 people ahead of me. I didnt mind waiting, I wasnt in a hurry. She saw me,looked behind her, then started talking on her walkie talkie. She called me by name,asked me to come forward and told me they took my purchase to a different location (In the store) and I could pick it up there. I thanked her for her time and help and moved on. Second location...no one there. Waited for a few minutes while looking around for anyone in a blue shirt close by. Thinking maybe they were helping someone else. I caught someone walking by who said he would find someone who worked in that area to come help me. This time I looked at the time. 7 minutes until someone came to help. Not a friendly young man, but not rude. Just there. I told him what I was there for, then he had to go find keys to get it. He returned, tried to process it. (I had already paid for it online, I guess he had to show it had been picked up.) He was having problems and asked me to follow him to another register for somebody else to check me out. This gentleman never spoke to me, said thank you, or your welcome after handing me my box. I thanked him for his help, because at this point I was ready to go. I love Best Buy and have always had great experiences. It started great, but went down hill. Will I go back? Yes. If I have the same experience, I will bring it to the attention of the store that day. I do wish I knew that young ladys name, she deserves recognition.

My 55 inch TV died at 2pm. I placed an online order for a 50 inch at 3:30 pm. My order was ready for curbside pickup by 4pm. I arrived at Best buy and parked in a curbside spot at 4:30pm. The TV was brought out to me and loaded in my vehicle by 4:45pm! Outstanding service and very nice employees.

I was at the store today to do a curbside pickup for a television that I ordered off of Amazon.I wanted to contactless pickupBecause I am high risk pregnancy close to my delivery and I cannot come in the storeI had to explain this to the person that came out who was trying to tell me that I needed to go into the store she was very nice about it however the guy that brought the TV out who didnt have a friendly bone about him.I pulled down my window and just told him Id like it to go in the side and he barely acknowledged me and whats worse is when he picked up the TV to put it in my car he on purpose let it drop on its side so he could open up the side door as if he was annoyed and I could hear the impact of the corner of the box on the ground from inside the car he then shoved it in my backseat without care.Overall I felt slightly intimidated or like I was a bother . I expected to be treated like a valuable paying customer instead I was met with a grumpy person who tosses your stuff aboutIm extremely disappointed in the overall service that I dont even want to trust the product and I probably will return the item just out of anxiety for the fact that I dont even know how well this TV is going to work after the beating it tookI really hope the customer service gets better in the store because I cant imagine that I would be the only one that would be shocked at how miserable the employees seem
