This is a small antiques and new store with home decor, vintage silver and local art inside.It’s small but has a wealth of good items and is worth the trip if you enjoy antiquing and looking around.The two gentlemen working inside were friendly and didn’t intrude but left us to look and only stepped in when we asked questions.We found a few goodies in here.It’s in a tidy small strip mall just off Laskin near the Birdneck interchange with plenty of paved parking and a stoplight for easy in and out.

My family was on a trip to the beach and my grandmother and I decided to do some shopping. I had such a terrible experience that I have to leave a review. The minute we walked in, there was an extremely unwelcoming atmosphere. They did not say hello, they just stared in silence. My grandma went to one side of the store, and I to the other, and we started to look around. I came to a necklace display and picked one up (as one does to inspect things when shopping for antiques. There was NO sign/verbal warning saying I couldnt), and was deciding on purchasing it. I heard the woman at the counter tell the man to Help out the young lady over there as I am looking at the necklace. He addressed me and I politely declined his help (because I did not need it). He continued to stand where he was and stare at me after that. I assumed it was because we were the only customers in the store and ignored the weird look on his face (not very friendly). My grandma then walked over and told me that we should not buy anything and that shell explain to me later, and we walked out after a few more minutes of me looking to make sure I was not missing something really nice. She told me that the womans (the shop owners friend was there speaking to her) friend and her were saying you have to watch her to each other, indicating that I could be stealing. Mind you, we are black. Gist of the story: the minute we walked in we were racially profiled and treated far from paying customers. I did not have a bag with me, my hands never went near my pockets, I was very respectful of the displays and very careful with the *one* thing I did touch. We did not cause a scene, but we left with a weird icky feeling and I think its safe to say that this shop is a blemish on the memory of an otherwise very nice trip.

Pam updated my mom’s bathroom and left a crack in the wall that she never fixed. She also wouldn’t fix or address an issue with the paint/fan choice that leaves water stains on the walls every time we shower!
