I was very pleased with JC when I hired them to tow a car for me. I called today for another tow and was informed that JC closed their doors in June 2019. However, their number connects to LNR Towing, which is also on Delsea Drive.

On my way home, the alternator in my truck went. I was broke down on the side of the road and needed a tow service to bring my truck approximately 30 mins to my house. From a quick google search, I was able to locate JC Towing & Auto in Vineland and give them a call. They agreed to tow my truck and transport my girlfriend and I home. Upon arrival, I noticed the truck had a dolly and not a flat bed which should be used with a 4x4 pick up truck (this will be key in the story later). During the ride home, the driver was on the phone the entire time texting. At one point, I had to ask him if he could please put the phone down and focus on the road. Finally, we arrived at my home and are pulling in the drive way. As the driver makes the turn, I hear a screeching sound and look behind me to see what was happening. As we made the sharp turn into the driveway, the hitch from the tow truck dug into my truck bed resulting in a huge dent and multiple scratches. As the driver gets out, he stated, Oh man, Im going to get into trouble for this. Initially apologetic, the driver began to back peddle and quickly began to deny all responsibility. Quickly, I decided to call the state police and make a report. I called multiple times to speak to the owner to rectify the situation. Basically, I was given the run around and told well call you back later. After weeks of call and emails I ultimately had to proceed with small claims court. I WOULD NOT recommend this company by any means. I wouldnt trust them them to tow a matchbox car let alone your personal vehicle. If I could give them a zero rating I would. For the peace of mind, please spend a little more money and go with a reputable company. After a little investigating on the better business bureau, I found that this is not an isolated incident.

I called in for a car to be towed that was in my parking spot and they never showed up. Had to call multiple times for hours until someone picked up. Luckily the person who was in my spot left before this towing company decided to even pick up the phone. Dont use this service. Youd be better off calling a place in North Jersey because theyd most likely get to your location faster.

I had my car towed to JC Repair shop after breaking down on Saturday. The young man who towed the car was professional and helpful, so I agreed to leave the car for a diagnostic. They said they would call me on Monday. I called the shop on Monday to find out about the diagnostic. They informed me that it was most likely the radiator. I arrived at the shop and called twice more, but I was informed they had yet been able to look at the car.On Tuesday, I was informed that they could only find a problem with the radiator. The technician said another problem may arise as they do the work since he could not do a comple diagnostic without driving the car. They are charging diagnostic fee of $100.00 for them to do a ten minute diagnostic, keep my car for three days, and give me a maybequote.Never get any work done at this shop! They are inconsiderate of the car owners time and will charge an arbitrary fee if you dont use their services. Tell the tow truck driver to take your car somewhere else!

Thursday morning I called AAA around 8 am to request for my vehicle to be towed to Glassboro (the service shop I usually go to). The guy towing my vehicle told me about this place, and how AAA members receive discounts. He said its my alternator, and because its early they will have me in and out in an hour. They ran a diagnostic and found out it was not my alternator but the crank shaft sensor. Fine. 3 pm came around, hes still waiting on parts. I will it be finished tonight and he confirmed. So I called later on that evening, they still havent received the parts.Make a long story short, I had to miss two working shifts because of the lack of their communication. Not once did they call me and notify the progress of my vehicle. I understand receiving the parts was out of their hands but Ive patiently waited since Thursday morning to receive a phone call so I could find a way to get transportation and this company failed to do so. But this is my fault, I shouldve checked the reviews before consenting. Needless to say, I will not be doing business with JC towing again.

Theres people that will say what you want to hear and take your money and then theres people who will be honest whether they profit from you or not. Even though the car didnt get fully fixed, on the bright side they didnt charge for a half done job and say its fixed. I recommend JC and hope nothing breaks but if it does in trust them to get it done.

Complete rip off! I agreed to surrender my title because my van needed a new motor and wasn’t worth the money. Went to give my title and clean out my van and after I gave them the title they said the impound was locked and I had to come back another day. When I came back they said they already scrapped my vehicle! Didn’t let me clean anything out! Then an employee told me that the guy that runs the place shot up my car before I surrendered the title so my car had been scrapped before I even gave them the title! I was willingly giving up the vehicle I just wanted my items out of it. What kind of business owner allows employees to shoot customers cars? The guy he has running it is always coked out yelling and cursing no matter how many customers are in the office. This whole place is a scam with the biggest con artist running the place.

Called to find a towed car. Lady on the phone informed they closed at 3 (the exact time I called) and that I couldn’t get I.T till Monday and would be charged $494 for a 15 mile tow and storage over the weekend. Went there myself to confirm and they actually closed at 5 and costed $214. This company will try to rip you off at every opportunity so be on alert.

I broke down on the weekend and called AAA for a tow. They were there within 20 minutes and were very helpful and nice. They gave me recommendations for the fix and took a lot of time to diagnose what the true issue was with my car, not just the reason I broke down. After hours of time, they recommended not fixing it because they didnt feel the price would be worth it to me for the car. I really appreciated the honesty and not trying to just make a large profit. They did fix a small issue so that I wouldnt have to pay for any towing or diagnostic fees as well and were available well after normal business hours for me to pick up the car. Would go back to them again.

I had so many issues with this car that I have dealt with so many tow companies and mechanic shops I can not count, however I have to recount my experience with this company because the care that this young man Jordyn took to take care of my situation was not just professional but he was very kind and genuine, you don’t meet them like this anymore!! Especially in the auto business, I have good faith in this shop for service provided to me and care that Jordyn showed me and will be back again (hopefully not to soon) in the future! Ordered a wrecker to pull out tractor trailer and was told they would send a wrecker with 36000 pound winch capability and would cost 250$ and 50$ every half hour .. Showed up with a medium duty pick up.. No 4x4 and hooked up to my icc bar and couldnt even budge it and said not strong enough need my 250$ .. They lie to get the job .. I heavy duty wrecker would have pulled me out in 5 minutes tractor and trailer .. I had to unhook from my trailer so his weak winch could just about pull my tractor only out and now my trailer is still stuck and charged me 450$ for 2 extra hours labor because of the lack of proper equipment for the job entailed .. Dont ever call them to pull you out if you have a tractor trailer to be winched .. I was also empty at the time and only weighed about 32,000 lbs

I’ve had service done here a number of times. Whether it be the recent battery replacement on my Touareg(thanks Rene!), mounting tpms and balancing the wheels for my AMG, or a major service like rebuilding the cooling system and servicing the diff on my old e46 m3 after towing it for me when it broke down, the people here have always helped me out. They are very knowledgeable, they don’t BS you about stuff you don’t need (like other shops often do), and their pricing is beyond amazing. Thank you JC for looking out and being there, you have yourself a customer for life!

First class towing service, they showed up in not time at all, fixed my car in few minutes there was a lose wire which affected the starter. Thank and well recommended.

Apparently I ran out of gas (found out fuel gauge not working properly, still read a little under 1/4) and called AAA. JC towing was sent out. A dude arrived about 45 minutes later. I explained to him I may be out of gas. His reply was Do you know where I came from? And you may be out of gas?. I said where did you come from? He said Turnersville. Isnt this his job? ...hmmm...Ok. Strike one. Then he says he doesnt have gas. So, I take his empty gas can, and by now, my girlfriend shows up, and ME AND HER go to gas station to get gas!!!! Wow!!! Strike 2. And he said to me I take tips too!.....you do, do you? So, I return with gas, and he was about to have me put the gas in. I told him Im not doing all of YOUR JOB. And he requested a tip yet again. After spilling most of the gas on my truck. So,...... I PAID for the gas and a DEMANDED tip! $5 in gas, $5 in tip. STRIKE 3!!! It was the cheapest lesson Ive ever learned. I WILL NEVER, NEVER USE JC TOWING AGAIN. I WILL LET ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY KNOW HOW YOU GUYS DO BUSINESS. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!!! I would push my truck, uphill for 1000 miles, before I would ever call JC Towing. There are alot of good workers out here looking for jobs. Maybe you should hire better employees. The worst of all!! They are not responsible!! One of the towing drivers took over with a vehicle and dragged a guy over 15 feet and took off unresponsive. It happened today 8-26-2019 like 11am. Crazy in Vineland NJ.

Had my car towed on a saturday because the starter went, on monday they called an told me it was going to 451.00, What. they said they were putting a brand new unit on, cost me over 200 for that, i asked about a rebuilt, they said only ten dollars difference, i checked my self. a rebuilt was only 84 dollars. just a outright robbery, ill never use them again. its not the factor of the price, its the fact that they never gave me the option of a rebuilt, just said there putting in new, even after we asked about the rebuild

I gave this place a 1 star because there is no rating for under that... I paid this place over $1300 to fix my 4-wheel drive on my truck... When I tried to use the 4-wheel drive it still didnt work... Took it back to them and they said the warranty was up... They finally said they would fix it at no cost to me... I dropped off my truck on 3/12/18... Didnt get it back until4/20/18... When I got it back the 4-wheel drive was in worse shape than before they fixed it... Now when I try to call them... Either no one answers or when they do answer I talk to someone named Sean... Sean has no answer for my question but he is the maneger... I still havent heard from anyone with answers... Left messages for owner still no response... Hopefully they see this and respond

These are the types of mechanics we all fear. Takes advantage of customers who dont know better, over charge out the ass, tell you you need more work than you do, keep coming up with new issues, takes FOREVER to get your vehicle taken care of, uses AAA to scam customers into coming to their shop, they even had the gall to wreck a womans car who had been waiting weeks for it to be returned as her mother was dying in the hospital and she had no way to go see her. Absolutely despicable. Never give them your business. And they are the type to NEVER take responsibilty, they refuse to solve the situation or pay for the damages, and all you need to do to see how professional they are is look at their replies to peoples poor ratings from horrible expeirences. No apology. No maturity. More like a backyard mechanic than a business.

Had my car towed by Ryan from JC. We had it towed to a local shop because thats what we chose to do. He asked if we wanted to use the shop in Vineland instead, and we declined. After we rejected his offer, he was extremely condescending and rude for the rest of the encounter. It was honestly one of the most miserable customer service experiences of my life. Even the shop owner was appalled by Ryans behavior.

If I could give this place negative stars I would!! I had my car towed there because my anti-theft system went off and it wouldnt start. My car sat outside getting rained and snowed in for 3 weeks (my window wouldnt roll up do to the car not starting). When my husband said something about my car being rained in the young ladys response was Im just a dispatcher, I dont know anything about that as she rolled her eyes.He had to say something to the mechanic in order for plastic to be placed on the window. I had to call everyday to find out what was going on then I had to show up everyday just to be told they are chasing wires. Needless to say after I got tired of the B.S. I had my car towed to Ford. I tried to give JC towing a chance to redeem themselves and get my car towed through them. I was told it would only take 15 minutes and 2.5 hours later I find myself pulling back up to the shop where my car was still sitting. Finally they tow it 1.9 miles up the street and NO CARS KEYS for my car. My husband had to go back yet again. I had my car at Ford And it was fixed in less than an hour. There was only one person in the front that was very nice. The other 2 have horrible customer service. And I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Two thumbs way down.

Sitting where I Woulda went IF I HAD NOT BEEN LIED 2 WITH 3 EMPTY GUARANTEES & sitting here @ MY REAL MECHANICS had I not been LIED 2.

JC Towing & Auto Route 42 Turnersville, NJ is a very BAD place to take your car!!!!!!! I had my car towed there on a Monday and was told on Friday I needed a new transmission. I had to pay $1,200.00 and my car did not get fixed and they had it ALL week and I had to keep calling to check on the status of what was going on. This experience was the POOREST Customer Service I have EVER come across in my life. Paid for service on my car I did not receive. Will be looking further into this matter for a FULL REFUND!!!!

I am a aircraft mechanic myself and love to do work on my vehicle. but when i cant, i go to jc towing for exceptional services. mechanical work is expensive no matter where you go but with the quality of the mechanics they have, you shouldnt go anywhere else if quality is the utmost importance to you. if you want your vehicle done right the first time go here. they make sure that everything is done correctly the first time. Ive gone here for engine leak, axle repair, strut assembly w/lift kit service, engine/transmission removal & install, and exhaust repairs to say the least. I can go on and on but the point i am getting at, I never had to return my vehicle for a mistake a mechanic has done. this is my go too place. Great customer service, especially when dealing with very tough & meticulous customers like myself and my wife. A grade jc towing. they would get an A+ if they can chop down their prices...lol j/k renee is usually the guy you can speak too, he is great with the customers, treating them with fairness & respect!

Very poor place to get your car fix...they get over on woman..had my truck fixed for a alternator n had to havenit replaced less months later also my daughter took her car there 2 twice for a transmission in November n back in May just got it out n still wasnt fixed..took it yo another mech n it only cost her $150 to fix what she was told that was going to cost her a $1000..I wouldnt recommend anyone to go there....

Experience and horrible customer service in general (meaning unfriendly, dont work with u, and they charged me and my grandmom $400 for picking my car up from an accident. $90 of that was over night fees.

Do not ever send your cars here. Me and my sister have both had problems here with separate cars. They told me I was going to be charged no fees to have my car looked at specifically bc I didn’t want to put any money into that car now I’m being charged almost $90 for something i was told was free.

Through AAA, this company accepted a job at 3:45 and I waited over 1 1/2 hours to receive a text they were coming.. Still waiting for a text... and its after 5pm. Very unresponsive and AAA couldnt get ahold of them.

Taken here by my AAA driver, told they could fix my car, have it back on the road that day. Not a lot of communication. Had to ask several times over several hours what was going on. Eventually, given estimate and a few hours later, did leave the same day.
