We had a fairly pleasant buying experience helped by the fact that the showroom was totally unpatronized. The salesman was nice and answered calls and texts promptly. He had the car ready for us which was better than some places. Be prepared to do your own research if you insist on knowing what youre buying and be prepared to fill out a credit application form even though you may want to pay cash. I paid with a cashiers check and they clearly thought it wasnt real. The description of the car was not accurate. No sunroof, no heated seats etc. Otherwise it seems like a trustworthy second hand dealership.
Ive been meaning to write a review for MB of Tysons. I bought a car here in April and was working with Eric. I dont know where to begin. However, the first issue I had was that Eric stated there was a promotion for MB financial services. He said if I financed through MBFS that I would receive the first month off and also quoted the APR rate way lower than what it came out to be. I did confront him about not getting the first month off. He stated that my car did not fall under the promotion which I have in text. He also chose not to respond to me when I stated that I was very disappointed. I would have gone with other financing if I knew none of the promotions applied. Additionally, I had to contact MB of Tysons myself for my permanent tags and for things such as the Mercedes ID and where to pay for my monthly payments...all things that I should not have to reach out to the dealership for. Overall, I was pretty disappointed with MB of Tysons.
Lost $9000 buying a used E550 from this dealership 6 months ago. stay away. the used car salesman, eric asare, no morals, no ethics. my car broke down the day after i drove it off the lot and the dealership refused to help. they hid the check engine light, bad pulley, bad radiator, bad brake light, bad brakes, bad engine + more.. carmax bought the car for $1250 means the used cars at tysons of mercedes are all junk/salvage cars! STAY FROM THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO END UP IN THE HOLE like me - after i got the car fixed the first time, it broke down the next week in NYC, how embarassing and expensive this experience has been for me -- thanks to this dealership IM NEVER GOING TO BUY A MERCEDES BENZ EVER AGAIN -- oh yeah the air suspension was faulty also, another $1500 in repair/maintenance expense

Stellar service advisor named Aria! He was very responsive and accommodating. He exceeded my expectations by having my car towed back to my house after the repairs were made when another tire on my car became flat. I live in !Maryland and my tight schedule made it almost impossible to,get back to the dealership to pick up my car. Many thanks again! I am most grateful!

I usually do not like to write bad reviews but I have to in this case. I bought a used 2012 c class from here. First of all, if youre coming from out of VA, DO NOT buy a used car here. They sell you the car knowing it passed VA inspection and it wont pass your home state, for example my home state MD. Second, the sell me the car with the check engine light on. I told the salesman at the time and he told me oh dont worry well turn it off, hello I know you can turn it off, why is it on is my question? So to finish it off, my car has problems that are supposed to get fixed by the warranty I bought, I call them and they tell me they cant process anything because the DEALERSHIP wrote a lower mileage than what my car really has. My car has 77k miles, and they wrote 72K. A 5K DIFFERENCE. Absolutely insane. This is the last place Id recommend to get a used or new car. My salesman was great, but everything else was a disaster. Will never be going back here to buy a car again.
Efficient check in and check out process. However service took a lot longer than normal, where a regular maintenance used to take a few hours, this time it took 2 days. But everything was done properly and car was washed and cleaned afterwards.
I felt compelled to write this review in hopes that someone else will save the headache I am experiencing. I took a lease over 10 months ago and I am still using temporary tags, the manager is aware of the situation and deciding to ignore the situation. After going back and forth with the tag department for 10 months and providing the same documentation over and over, they are now telling me that there is a issue with my insurance card. No matter the issue, every time they are provided with a solution or required document they come to me with new issues. The fact of the matter is their tag department has no idea what they are doing and there is a complete lack of follow up on their end. They have switched the person handling my tags over 6 times in 10 months.I purchased a Audi 2 months ago and already have my tags without any issues. This is by far the most annoying and painful experience I have endured at any business. What makes it worse is it’s suppose to be MERCEDES BENZ, known for their elite service and reliability. Don’t believe everything you hear because this particular business is worse than a used car dealership. I’m simply disgusted at the amount I’m paying for my vehicle and the service I’m receiving.Also my car was delivered with a damaged windshield, which itself took 3 months for them to replace. Steer clear and go to another dealership.

Probably the most horrible experience I’ve had at a dealership. Went in to get a simple oil change for my 18 c300 coupe, was told there would be a loaner available. Once I pulled into the bay, nobody came to help. I had to walk into the private office to find someone. Then I was told I had to wait an hour to get a rental. So I waited, and received no text, no call. Waited 4 hours. I needed a loaner badly because I’m a ER physician and am on call. 5 hours later no car, so I had to get a friend to pick me up. Long story short, I never want to work with Mercedes Tyson ever. I already have an 2020 Aston Martin from across the street and they treat me like royalty. Long story short, when I got my car back from service, I went to Bentley across the street and traded my c300 in for one of their cars so that I don’t have to ever put up with an unprofessional environment.

Be aware of false promises:I bought first class protection plan when I leased my car. The sales person told me that they can fix small dents or scratch up to two times during my lease.I had small dent in the back of my car. When I went there to fix it. They refused to fixed and showed me the contract that I signed which does not include that promise.So if it is not written, it is never happened. So if they promised you something, please have it in written and do not believe the fake smiles.
I had an appointment this morning at 8:30am to fix a fuel pomp hose as requested my Mercedes Benz. I waited for 3 hours to get a loaner to be told to keep waiting or take your car back and once the dealership has a loaner, I will contacted . As of 2:45pm, have not heard anything. I am very disappointed and surprised early appointment, the service department could not provide a loaner.Will keep you posted.
I’ve been to this location many of times for common maintenance, however this was my first time working with Javier Solis and he was awesome! He made me feel as if he was happy to help. I was standing in front of two other individuals desk for a couple of minutes and neither of them even acknowledged that I was standing there. Thankfully, Javier came around the corner stopped what he was doing and asked if I needed help and even asked how my day was going. He had a mask on, but I can tell from he’s eyes and his approach that he had a smile underneath his mask! It’s the small things 😊 Thank you Javier
Had a visit to this location to buy a used car. The representative asked us to wait, while got us more details, and then never showed up for over 30 mins, so we left. Was it because it was a car of a lower value, that he could not be bothered to even have the courtesy to come back and say how long its going to be? It was an insulting experience TBH. This has soured the Mercedes brand forever for me! As someone who plans to buy another luxury brand in 2 years, I know now, for sure, this is no longer an option thanks to you. I wish you well regardless.
Mercedes Benz Tyson corner sold us a lemon that did not passed VA inspections. We were told that it was a minor issue. We bought the car under the pretense of repairing a minor issue at Nissan just to be slapped with a $10K estimate worth of mechanical issues that were not disclosed by Mercedes at time of purchase. We raised the unethical behavior with management but Unfortunately we were told that it was not their responsibility. We’re in the process of escalating this unethical behavior to corporate.
This is the first time i’m coming here and the service was horrible. i usually go to the one in richmond and they have wonderful customer service. the second i pull into the service shop i am greeted and asked what service i need and told to wait in the lounge. they finish my work super quick and come into the lounge to get me and walk me to my car and open and close the door for me. at the tysons location i was ignored the whole time i was there. i waited and no one approached me even though there was a bunch of people working. i had to ask someone for help. i had to keep asking someone to finish my car cause one person would do one thing then leave and then i had to get another person to finish something else. the people were horrible and rude and ignorant. i will definitely never be coming back to this location.
Enquired about an X5 that was for sale and also about the blizzard of warning lights showing on dash in the pictures. Sales rep had said that the vehicle had gone in to be repaired and thats as much as I heard having completed a finance app and hard credit pulled. Was genuinely willing to purchase this car but they had no motivation to close any kind of deal. Exudes the typical snooty Mercedes vibe. Business taken elsewhere.

Wow! Wisdom is the best sales consultant I ever encountered! This guy will make you feel at home from the moment you step into dealership and until your vehicle is delivered! Not only did he deliver great deals, but he made the whole process seem like a breeze. I spoke with Wisdom, discussed with him parameters of the car my spouse was looking for and BOOM! One day I got a call, with Vin number and picture of the car and numbers. Do you like it? If so, when would you like to take the delivery? It was incredible. This guy should be teaching general managers of dealerships in VA/DC/MD area how to do business. And, I am so happy to say, in this case not only we have someone we enjoy doing business with, but we also gained a trusted friend who made us feel like a family and at home. I worked with Fez and Ahmed to get the car ( 2017 Mazda Miata) that I had my eye on for a little while.They were great, I negotiated the price via email (due to the covid-19 situation). Came in for a test drive, the car was waiting with a red balloon at the curb with the top down ready to go. It was in great condition, very clean, and well-maintained. Fez was very nice and helpful and when we settled on a final price, I returned to buy the car Sunday evening. Ahmed was great, super funny and friendly and worked to get us out the door in less than 2 hours. I knew exactly what I wanted to pay, brought my own financing, and I appreciated there was no pressure to purchase extra items or any hidden fees. The finance department was great and super quick as well. All together it was maybe the easiest car buying experience Ive had and I appreciated the straight forward honesty I received.Everyone was also wearing masks and they wiped down the cars and desk appropriately. I love my new car and would recommend Mercedes-Benz of Tysons Corner in the future!

I live 5 minutes away and I am taking my business to Chantilly because the Parts Department was outright rude to me on the phone just now.Simple request of helping to source parts (that Id buy at the dealer) and the guy couldnt have been more rude. I had this same type of interaction six months ago when I needed a key. Went to Arlington that time and they were great.Take your business elsewhere.

Worst car buying experience ever! I bought a 2015 Acura TLX from this dealership well over two months ago and they still are unable to provide the title. Two temporary tags later they wont even answer or return my phone calls. Ive had to get in contact with the State of Virginia Dealership board to have action taken. Meanwhile I have this $20,000 car sitting in my driveway that I legally cannot drive until I get a title. Never buy a car from this place or any other Penske Automotive Owned Dealerships they have a reputation for this type of shady behavior.
My boyfriend worked at the dealership next door. He truly found the car and did the whole set up with my sales person at Mercedes, Sang, which made everything super painless... All I had to do was go in with my check frim my bank and sign. Happens to be the first time I ever brought from a dealership and not a private seller. As promised, they took care of registration and my tags so I didnt have to deal with the DMV right now, thank god. Happy with my experience, even happier with my car 🥰
My service advisor, David, was wonderful and very thorough. I thought it was time for a service but he quickly reminded me I had a few months left. I was also dealing with a mold smell coming from the air system and he worked on that as well. Hoping it fixes the issue. We went there to test drive a vehicle today. We live in Maryland. My husband has an email chain with a salesperson there in regards to a particular vehicle. We took off work spent all day there took the vehicle out for a test drive. When we arrived back at the dealership, we had to wait on the salesperson. Another salesperson goes out to the vehicle in question and quickly removes it. When my husband inquired about this action, the person says this car was sold three days ago. He shrugged his shoulders and said a person was at the airport and had purchased the car, citing a “ computer glitch.” After we stated look at how they wasted our time for the day, another salesperson shows a different car marked $5K more than the car we were originally interested in. We had to speak to multiple salespeople- not one and I’m wondering if this was a sales tactic all along. Overall, I waited in the car because at this point it’s beginning to rain. I did not like the treatment or the implication and I WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

I purchased my car from out of state. Upon receiving my car the listed extra were not in the car. To make matters worse the extras changed online to inferior ones after I purchased the car.I’m sorry but a heads up display should be seen in the windshield. When I inquired about this they told me that they were referring to the regular screen? We all know what a heads up display is and looks like. Not only that it said it had navigation which it does not. When I asked about this they said it has apple car play and you gotta use your phone. That’s not navigation.When I inquired about a return the same day I received a call I was met with we wouldn’t have anything to swap it out for. Now it seems I’m stuck with this vehicle. This experience has left a very sour taste in my mouth for this dealership and Mercedes in general.Jason the GM personally helped out with this. We came to an agreement that was suitable for both parties. I appreciated his help in the matter and the timely fashion we were communicating. Its obvious Jason cared about my situation and helped me out. Thank you Jason!!

Beware of unscrupulous Assistant Service Manager, Pantelis Theofanidis. I have been a Mercedes owner for 16 years and used the Tyson Corner Service for repairs, including with my mechanical breakdown insurance, where I pay my deductible and my insurance company approves the service and pays for the remainder of the costs. In my recent visit to reseal my front cylinder head covers, which was recommended on my previous service visit, Pantelis refused to contact my insurance company and insists that I pay for the total service costs and seek reimbursement from my insurance company. In all my previous repairs, when needed, the service contacted my insurance company for approval of the service and received direct payment from my insurance company. I called my insurance company and let Pantelis speak with the agent to obtain approval for the service and payment; however, Pantelis insist on charging 6 labor hours for the service, while the standard labor charge is 4 hours; he said the shop charge is 6 hours and asked me to pay for the extra 2 hours. It became clear to me why Pantelis did not want to contact my insurance company and wanted me to pay for the full service charge, as I would have been stuck with the extra 2 hours of labor charge. Needless to say, I did not get the service done.

Bought an SUV in March 2020, still havent gotten the license plates.Ive dealt with several people about the issue over the past year and a half and theyve all been very nice. but completely incompetent. The number of times that people like Joe, Fez, and Wisdom have told me theyd make this a top priority is obnoxious. Maybe worst of all is the lack of communication. Ive almost never had anyone follow up with me after promising to call with updates.
Faux service. I have a Mercedes and was going to trade it in and buy a new car. I sent the vehicle information but they refused to give even a price range for the trade-in. The next day they wrote me asking what I thought of the information they had sent(!) and when I would come in. All their customer service was just a ploy to get me on the lot. The verbiage about contactless service holds no water. Thanks, but no thanks.

It is all about the people. This review is really more for my recent experience with the Service Department and namely Collin. He went above and beyond to take care of things and make the entire process very smooth and hassle free. The dealership is also using very high tech apps to make the process smoother. Sales representative Chánh Nam Su was friendly and professional . He took his time to explain the different options and models that may work for me and made my selection process easy. Dealership was clean and PPE supplies are everywhere. Special order came in as promised and the Checkout process was painless and quick.I absolutely highly recommend buying from Mercedes of Tysons Corner and Nam Su.
My experience with this dealership was great when I purchased my vehicle. My sales representative Mike was awesome. But, when it comes to the service department, my experience was awful. To sum it up, a very nice pair of sunshades were taken from my vehicle during my service appointment. . I called my service advisor, Collin, who then put the manager Mr. Rodriguez (supposedly)on the phone and indicated that they would compensate me partially for my loss. After 2 weeks, I heard nothing. I called Collin and left messages. He never picks up my call and doesn’t call me back. I am very disappointed in this Mercedes location. I will not be returning for service. Mercredes did not live up to their name and value for this.
I rated 5 stars for 1) Sales; 3 stars for 2) Service. 1) I have purchased 8+ new Mercedes from MBTC since 2001; each time my sales rep has been NAM SU, the best at his job I have ever met. If every salesperson was like Nam, people would love buying new cars! The ease he brings to the process is amazing; even when I have ordered cars from scratch, nothing but simplicity. Also critical are the Finance Directors, first Aradna and now Jae, who are truly the best at what they do. I show up and sign papers, thats it, no worries, no issues. While I have purchased other makes elsewhere, I ALWAYS have a Mercedes in the garage, and what reliably returns me to MBTC is the superior assistance from staff like above. 2) Service has always been problematic, almost entirely around loaner car availability, BUT getting better, and I forgive if resolved with little fuss to me, sometimes the case. Regardless, overall I highly recommend this dealership if you need/want a new Mercedes-Benz - Das Beste Oder Nichts!

Worst dealer Ive ever met. Its been 6 months and Im still using temp tag. They dont care about customer at all once car is sold. Salesperson dont pick up phone and dont reply to your emails. You act like you are begging them for a real tag. I really regret I bought my car here. DONT GO THERE.
Unfortunately, the overall service level of this dealer (across the board) is poor, pathetic, and horrible for a high-end luxury car maker. I 1st had a bad experience dropping and picking up a car for air-bag recall and then when again when picking up the car after an A-service. I was told I could pick up car from sales after I paid the bill. I paid the bill on Sun and arrived at dealer about 1 hour later. The lady at the front desk of sales said my car keys weren’t there and there was nothing she could do. I asked her that are you seriously telling me that I can’t pick up car after a routine maintenance service and reply was in the affirmative. There was no apologies or calling a manager to help a customer get his car.So a customer leaves the dealership without his car, has to make arrangements for another vehicle, has to now make another trip to pick up his car, and there was no offer of a discount on service to correct the previous negative experience.This is my last visit to this dealer and come here at own risk because the aurora of arrogance and incompetent customer service is ripe. I hope someone at MB in Germany is reading these reviews because the dealers at likes of Acura/Lexus are 100% better and I’ve no issues picking/dropping at MY CONVENIENCE and not vise versa.

First time I took took my Mercedes in to tysons corner for service. My service adviser Aria was so awesome and helpful! I use to own a bmw prior to this Mercedes and they are way better in their service Dept than bmw. I was offered a free Lyft ride home and when I got the news saying my car was gonna be longer than expected they notified me right away and offered me a loaner car. Definitely recommend! Aria thank you for all your hard work you do!
I have been a long-time customer at a different Mercedes dealership but the customer experience seemed to be slipping in recent years. I felt like I was bothering the sales team with my questions or ambivalence about certain vehicles. By the way, I’m a pretty decisive person and like to be efficient. After a disappointing experience at the previous place, I looked on line at the inventory at various dealerships. I eventually connected with Ken in Tysons. He was super helpful over the phone and answered questions without insisting that I needed to drive in. I did visit their showroom and met Ken. I was immediately impressed with his attentiveness and straightforward and kind manner. When he showed me the first price that was higher than I had expected, he worked hard to get it closer to my expectations. While I was conflicted about not giving my business to the previous team, I felt that Ken really earned my business and it seemed fairest to sign with him. I love my new car and am thrilled with the entire sales experience.
Worst Mercedes Dealer ever!!!!!!!! Doesnt deserve even 1 Star. They take your deposit, make you buy an airline ticket to fly to pick up your car and last minute call when you are at the airport and cancel deal. Manager Fahad Shahid doesnt return calls and very unprofessional. They run your credit with multi vendors and at the end cancel deal. Will report everywhere possible.
Excellent customer service from start to finish! I was in the middle of moving when i had to get my car serviced and temporarily have a loaner. when i returned the loaner full of boxes, they offered to move everything to my car for me. loved the service, cleaned my car up nice and good and now im back on the road!
As number one luxury cars in the world,I can say that I was very disappointed, even with an appointment I have to wait at least 10 minutes for someone available and i am the one need to look for it, than my wait time for oil change and state inspection was almost three hours and at the end my car was unwashed this is not professional at all.Customer service bellow zero.

0-Star experience since new advisors came in. No one comes to greet you. You basically have to beg for someone to help you, and when you get their attention they just don’t seem to care, After a 30 minutes wait time, I realized Chantilly or Arlington is worth the drive.I’m pretty sure this is not the Customer Experience that Mercedes-Benz brand stands for.Absolutely disappointed.

If I only can give less stars!I leased my car from this dealership in Dec2020. I have sent close to a 100 emails and texts and made tens of calls to inquire about my permanent car plates. I have been passed on to different people in the agency, Gloria, Alvis, Wisdom, and finally the manager in the dealership. NO ONES RETURN ANY CALLS or responds to emails. I am amazed of the poor customer services for a Mercedes dealership. This is the third leased Mercedes for me and the first two were with Euro motors. I have to say that the the difference in customer service is like the difference between day and night. I never had to call twice or even to wait more than an hour to receive a response from Euro-motors. Last year, I was given a better deal from Mercedes Tysons and thats why I went with them. I regret that I looked only at the finances, what I paid in time and energy with this dealership is many folds more than what I saved financially. Just to add that I emailed the manager of the dealership on June 24th and until today I havent received a response or acknowledgement of my email. I dont know what I can do to get my car tags, if there are any missing documents, the agency has a whole department that follows with the DMV, I dont know how this business is run. The car agency has my contact details and I am happy to provide them with copies of emails and texts that have been going on for 6 months. That is if there is any interest to respond to their customer.
Nam was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient and gracious. He explained everything to us and gave us excellent advice. He was also most generous with his time and goodies. It couldn’t have been a more pleasant experience. Jay was excellent and efficient also. The place itself is attractive, very clean and welcoming. The best new car experience Ever!
Bought my third Mercedes at Mercedes Benz Tysons. Always dealt with Nam Su who makes the sales process painless. If I didnt keep my cars so long, I would bought more Mercedes from Nam.

Typically I go to the Silver Spring location but since my car started to act crazy near my job I had to go to this one. I just want to give a shoutout to Justyne! She was absolutely fantastic. Even though I was a little stressed she quickly assisted me. Helped me out with a loaner vehicle and walked me through best case vs worst case scenario and what I would need to do. I initially took my 2017 e300 to Mercedes of Tyson’s Corner because it is conveniently located however, I would continue to use this location even if I moved further away because they have great customer service. Joe in the service center is so kind and thoughtful. He doesn’t even lose his patience when I forget (every time) to bring a current insurance card for the loaner car and then has to walk me through finding the info on the insurance website! Joe really deserves the prize for BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE.Additionally, I took my car in the other week due to a noise I’m hearing when I drive over large speed bumps. The technician could recreate the noise so they had me go in to drive with them. Of course the car was behaving with me as well even though we drove over all sorts of speed bumps. The reason I’m sharing this story is that what stuck out in my mind was that the technician was very kind and thoughtful with what he chose to give as feedback. He never once made me feel like I was some clueless lady who had no idea about cars. That really makes a difference! I wish I remembered his name to give him a shout out as well.So yes, I highly recommend Mercedes of Tyson’s service center. It’s all about the customer service.

The worst customer service I’ve ever had. I have never been treated so poorly at any Mercedes Benz service department like I have at Mercedes Benz Tyson corner. It’s hard not to believe it was not about my physical appearance.

The best car buying experience Ive ever had. Nam Su was amazing from start to finish. Nam was patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and he worked hard to craft the best deal for me. He stayed long after the dealership closed to make sure everything was taken care of.
