They always have the best smoked sausage in the meat department. Tried 3 different truffles from the bakery/deli. They were good, but a bit pricey.

The store is well organized and the prices are shopper friendly. I can go in and know exactly where the items are Im looking for. Also, their rewards program is convenient and easy to use. I save so much extra money each month with my loyalty card. Checking out is hassle free and the baggers know to bag like items without making them to heavy to carry or where they dont bust open.

There were quite a few things that were sold out and the shelves were bare, but considering I went about an hour before closing on a Tuesday night (right before their sales change to the next week) Ill take part of the blame for that. Normally their shelves are full on every isle. And the staff was very friendly and helpful, regardless of my late visit.

Prices are comparable to other local grocery stores in town. Always stocked with your everyday items you generally need. Service is friendly and helpful. Meat dept. Has a very nice selection of meats. Butchers are always willing to do custom cuts. Deli has many options for meats, desserts, cheese, etc. To go meals are nice too with some options. Produce section is plentiful. So many options and fresh. They do sell more out of country Produce than American made. Wish theyd keep it local. Overall, I recommend giving them a try.

Been shopping there since 2000. Just recent I was at the curiosity booth. They have a wood deplay. I caught my leg on a bundle of wood on the corner of the deplay. I told the girl in the booth she needs to tell the manager he needs to do something with this. Well I went and got my grocerys and I seen the young manager told him about it. Showed him my leg and all he says is what do you want peroxide and a band-aid. Told him he needed to something with the way the deplay was set up. So was paying for my grocery and I looked over and all he did was set a trash can infront of the corner. All he had to do was move the bags at that corner. Needless to say it took a a week for it to start healing. Took me forever to keep picking the wood pieces out. But Im a loyal customer of market basket and a lays will be.

They are friendly, helpful and price competitive. The produce mgr. gets an A t. The carry out boy gets thumbs up on his diligence in keeping the carts sanitized.

Good store but were out of some items I needed. Not a usual for them hope it is not becoming the norm.

Been getting my Moms money orders here for years using her debit card and never had a problem. Today some different lady at the window said there not allowed to give money orders using someones elses debit card. I asked for a manager and he said the same thing... Well if its against store policy why have I been able to do it for years???

This stores produce section is BEAUTIFUL!! So well taken care of. The store is super clean. The meat department doesnt wear masks. Thats a big NO for me. And the prices are steep. So thats another NO for me. 3 stars are for appearance only.

I love my small town MB. They go the extra amount of time and effort to get you what you want. This is Above and Beyond any other.

Best place in town to get your groceries.Very clean store,excellent employees, always willing to order and carry products you consume in one way or another! Market Basket has the Best Grade of fresh cut meats and the freshest produce for you cooking needs. The floral department has the widest assortment of fresh flowers and plants.

Clean and pretty decent prices. The meat was not too bad. No dedicated gluten free section though, and when I asked I was asked what I wanted and they would help me look for it

Used to use them all the time with mb2go but the last couple months the meat has been destroyed that they butcher and they left my order out over night letting everything defrost. They put liquefied ice cream in the back of my car with sour milk and a bunch of defrosted no longer good frozen items. Theyve reached out to me to rectify the situation and figure out what exactly they did so they could retrain if necessary.

They are doing a fantastic job thank you market basket.

I found cinnamon Coke here and I buy breakfast in the deli often. Always fresh and clean.

Not the cheapest, doesnt have the biggest selection but a much better choice if youre in a rush and dont want to have to deal with a long line. Overall a very decent place to shop, and people should try and support the local businesses as long as theyre doing right by the people. Cant give it the full five star because sometimes I have to find what Im looking for at other places. Will definitely continue to support, it seems as though they do their best to hire kids in highschool, pretty cool.

I love Market Baskets in house smoked sausage. The best sausage around, hands down!This store was quite busy when I was there today, but still, I got through the line very quickly. I love that they always have plenty of check out lines always open.A little more expensive than some of the other BIG stores, but sometimes its the little things that are more important!

I went there one day, and the little boy didnt put my moo bars or my brownies inside my buggy. It is a very nice basket to shop at, also it was raining that day and the cart pusher took my buggy for me. Nice workers great food to cook.

Love local businesses. The only problem is the entrance. There is only one directly in the center and directly in front if the parking lot. They used to have side entrances so you could be out of the middle of traffic.

The meat market is amazing and produce is always fresh. This is the best grocery store in town.

Employees are always helpful and courteous. I like the fact that the managers do delegate but they also jump in and help with checkout and stocking.

I have shopped here for the majority of my life and have also worked there for about a year and a half and quit for a better job which has better hours pay and is actually enjoyable to an extent. This WAS an amazing store but over the last 3 years and super Walmart opening up down the road I have noticed a lack of care not for the stores looks but for their products Expired products all the time i have once found a product that was expired on the shelf that expired 2 years prior and their huge rise in prices due to their competition and them trying to not go bankrupt. Where they store produce there was mold and to my knowledge is still there. In the back there is a door that the bottom is rotten off about 6 inches off the ground that you can see the outside, covered by an ice machine. I have seen mice, roaches, birds and even bats which most likely came through that opening which it isn’t a one time thing this went on for the entirety of me working there which questions how long has it been like that and my knowledge of them being there is sickening and with them being there comes droppings. I do not recommend working there because the staff is under paid and an unequal treatment of workers. Greggory Stockman is an amazing individual with a great personality and I like him a person but manager could be better and also for Mathew Strother who is a great associate all around for his age and experience. I try to avoid going into the store whenever Mike Smith is managing, granted I do drop by to see my old colleagues ever so often but mainly to buy small items such as drinks and frozen foods Which I know haven’t been touched by the animals/ bugs I listed earlier, my old colleagues are the ONLY reason I still even go there to shop, every time I am there Mike Smith is a nuisance and wants me to purchase my items and leave as soon as possible which is understandable and he has a every right to demand such and to kick me out due to it being private property, but as a customer purchasing items and to have small chat while doing such is without a doubt aggravating and not the market basket that is advertised. Most of the young men and women that work there do not get the credit or pay they deserve and for a shopper I would rather you go to Walmart if you want to buy in bulk or something fresh where there are far better prices and deal. Their sausage is probably the best in town that’s good for cookouts and such and the only thing I recommend you stopping by there for and the only thing keeping me from giving it a 1 star. The loyalty points are a joke yeah it’s free and save you like 3 dollars for every 100$ spent IF you got the right product which is almost never the case. And for a you people out there trying to get a job there focusing at the high schoolers it is a living hell.

I wanted to keep shopping here and support the local store and help them to last the Super Walmart, but I have talked to managers (more than 1) about a certain item I eat and shows them Everytime I come it it’s empty. They said it sells fast, I have 8 years experience in grocery store if an item is selling out I always made room for more but they apparently don’t care. Then today I ask for 1 sleeve of plastic bags and was informed I could buy them. As a manager of the stores I been at I always have them to my customers just to keep them happy. I am now a WALMART grocery shopper Market Basket will not be getting no more business from me.

I was in there earlier found everything I needed. The cashier was one of the rudest people I have encountered. And she is rude almost every time I go through her line. I try to avoid her line when possible. I understand everyone has a bad day from time to time, but it is every time I see her. I hope this changes.

We are so glad to have the Mauricevill location up and running wish the would stock the Freaks sodas especiLy the Peach flavor. Have to go th Vidor for that.
