I didnt buy anything here but went for the first time. Wish I had come here sooner before my wedding. They have a lot of very beautiful things and there were sale items and affordable items which I thought was great for a bridal shop. Beautiful store.

I would avoid this shop. The owner Jeff is shady like a used car salesman. When I called to ask if he had dresses in our price range on the rack, he asked what the price range of dress we were looking for. I told him not more than $600. He said no problem they had dresses in store from $200-$1200 Hell tell you what you want to hear to get you in the store. Then he says he charges $50 for an appointment and if you DONT find a dress, he will give you $50 This is a lie. When you get there and dont find a dress because he doesnt have a single dress for $200 or even $600. (They all start around $1200. ) He will keep your $50 and tell you he didnt say what he said. He will say that he told you if you find something it will go toward your purchase. That is absolutely NOT what he said. There wasnt a dress even close to the price range even though the lady said she could probably get the $1200 down to $700. Not to mention, not a large variety of selections. I had assumed when he said he had $200 dresses they were probably older, returns, donated. Nope, just a con. All dresses are new and not in price range. We visited lots of stores in Vancouver and Oregon and none of them other than this guy charged a fee for an appointment and then he kept the $50 when we didnt find anything. When I got my credit card statement he actually charged $54.20

My experience was amazing. After a rough experience at a different boutique, bridal consultant Jackie was a breath of fresh air. I felt welcomed, heard, and pampered. She really cares about the person in the dress, not just finding them a dress.

Jackie was awesome!!! She listened to my vision and pulled dresses for me, but also pulled dresses she thought would flatter my figure...she was so spot on!! Thank you for an amazing experience!Beyond the veil Bridal boutique is so inviting! I have been to three other bridal stores and there was absolutely no comparison! I felt like the most important person in the boutique!

I had an interesting and amazing experience here. We ordered in December the most gorgeous wedding gown. The brand is Marys, which is also the name of my grandma who passed when I was younger. This made it meant to be. Back then we were told March. In March we got told April 24. It came a few days after that date and I tried it on and it was a perfect fit and needed no alterations. Forgot to have the hoop ordered that we said we wanted and they let us buy one off of them. I give this place 4/5.

My daughter and I went to Beyond the Veil for dresses for an upcoming formal event. We purchased my daughters dress and was later told that the color we ordered was not available (after they put the order in and was paid for) and had to choose a different color. I bought and paid for two dresses from this company and then needed alterations for myself. The lady doing the alterations was super sweet and kind. The staff were really kind and tried to work with us. However, they continued to experience barriers with things because of the lack of presence of the owner.The event that my daughter and I were going to was canceled due to COVID, however, we still dont have her dress, that we paid for. The store still has my dress, it is still being altered for over a year now.My husband has stopped in the store and I have stopped in the store to check in, the staff said they are going to contact the owner -- Jeff, however he has not yet returned our calls or emailed us.This is not a good place for business. There has been a lack of communication and they are still holding our dresses. It is really sad and frustrating as it was my daughters first formal occasion and she was really looking forward to her dress as well as the event.I would not recommend this company.

I never write negative reviews, but Beyond the veil bridal has been such a negative experience for me. At first, when I found my dress, they were so kind and helpful. I absolutely LOVE my dress. It was an amazing experience and then after that, each visit and communication was a complete disappointment.When I came in for my first dress fitting, the seamstress was very rude and made insensitive comments about my body. Instead of trying to come up with something she could do to alter the dress, she said things like you need to lose weight and exercise and things like that. I was shocked that she said those things. Then they tried to double charge for the alterations. Eventually, they figured it out. They have been so disorganized with the move.Even though my first dress fitting was a negative experience, I scheduled my second, thinking it would be better. I took the seamstress’s advice and exercised with weights and cardio, hoping my dress fitting would go much better this time. It was even worse, first the seamstress came out with the wrong dress and had trouble finding mine. Once she found it, she realized she hadn’t done any alterations. That wasn’t even the worst part, I put it on and she made even more insensitive comments about my body, asking me if I gained weight and said it multiple times.I felt absolutely terrible and was crying so much. She then asked if I could come back later that day, so she could work on the bustle for the dress. I let her do that, but did not put the dress back on when I came back. I understand that sometimes our bodies change over time when getting ready for a wedding, but that is no excuse to make insensitive comments about a bride’s body.When I came to pick up my dress, I told the front desk lady about what had happened early that day with my second dress fitting. She felt horrible and told me that I looked beautiful and gave me a hug. I appreciate her and her kindness!I will be taking my dress elsewhere for alterations. Beyond the Veil Bridal has great dresses, but other than that, you can find better service elsewhere, especially in alterations!

STOP. USING. COVID 19. AS YOUR ONLY EXCUSE TO BRIDES! This has been a horrendous experience for my bride to have to encounter an incompetent owner who fails to provide the basic components of customer service. It should be noted in her matron of honor.Communication is key, most customers will absolutely understand how the pandemic has created a nuisance for everybody and specifically for newlyweds this year. What I would like to acknowledge is, other businesses are at least being upfront and HONEST with their brides. The moment dishonesty is shown, which has occurred with one of the owners repeatedly (Jeff), there is a total fail of customer service. When phone calls are not returned and there’s a large feeling of doubt, that is a significant issue. When trust between a merchant and a customer is broken, that’s a significant issue when it’s regarding a $2000 bridal gown!Brides come into your shop to gaze at a glimpse what their future holds. The bride, amongst some of her closest friends and family, finally chooses THE DRESS; The head turner, beautiful and elegant dress they will present themselves in to their significant other. Little did they realize, that gorgeous and perfect dress, would turn into a symbol of frustration and would ultimately lose its “perfection” simply because of a dishonest merchant. The headache that pools brides due to their dress, then becomes negative in all aspects.I am terribly saddened by how this owner has treated my bride.I strongly do not recommend this business and I believe several others agree based on the previous reviews.

I bought my dress from here and also had them alter it. They did an absolute hack job on my dress. It looked like a five year old had taken a pair of scissors to the bottom. It was also about four inches too short when I repeatedly told them I want it to touch the ground. When I brought this up to them they told me to “just bend my knees”. They refused to give us a refund for the dress or alterations. DO NOT shop here. You will regret it. I had to go buy a new wedding dress the night before my wedding. Such horrible customer service!!! Stay away!

Me and my 2 friends came in and it was amazing! Jackie really made us feel comfortable and not pressured to buy a dress. This was my first dress appointment and Jackie really made me feel so relieved. I loved that she found some veils to try on with the dresses as well! Will definitely recommend coming here!!

I had a wonderful experience from beginning to end with them. This was the first place I went dress shopping and I found the dress on my first visit. I really enjoyed the sparkling apple cider celebration that comes with choosing the dress. All of my visitations went well. Alterations to my dress did not take long and were done beautifully. Everyone was really kind and considerate. I never felt like I was being pushed to buy anything. I also got my veil and headband here. I am so glad that I went here.

Beyond the veil was the first bridal store I had visited. I ended up loving the girl who helped me with the fitting. Bless her heart she was so patient and caring with me. I bought my dress! I needed no alterations just waited for my dress to come. Jeff said it would arrive at the store in 4-5 months.I give Jeff a call after 5 months and I hear that there isnt even an order placed on my dress! I need to wait two more months. Two more months go by and Still no response on where my dress is. At this point I am angry. As it is 3 months from my wedding date. I worried that I would be walking down the aisle with no dress. The following week I come into the store wanting to get a refund. But the owners say the best they could do is give me store credit. Great customer service, horrible management.

I fell in love with a 🖤 black wedding dress

Went with a friend to this store to look for a wedding dress, they were extremely rude and unprofessional. They dont even carry sizes of dresses to try on. You have to pay to get a dress to try on in your size and it takes time to come in.Even so, she ordered a Faya wedding dress for over $2000 back in February. The dress never came and she is now being told 2 weeks from her wedding date she will not get a refund and she needs to pick a much cheaper replacement dress if the rack and is not even going to get the difference back. Also they dress the shop ordered for her she could have ordered the same dress directly herself for under $1000.Buyers Beware.**UPDATE**Only half of her dress arrived today. So I really am not sure what she is supposed to do with half a dress for a wedding in under 5 days. Also her dress wasnt held up in customs due to Covid-19. They lost her dress, she has been in contact with them trying to locate her dress more than you have. You had a chance to work with the designer, who she was also in contact with, to get her a dress rush made and here in time for her wedding. You LIED to her and said they told you there wasnt enough time when you just didnt want to pay the cost. They told her this themselves. Then when you had a chance to discuss this all with her in person while she was in the store for an appointment, you hid in your office. An appointment where your staff tried to force her, at your behest to pick a too small off the rack dress to replace her dress since you are refusing a refund.All she deserves from you is her money back. Your customer service is a joke.

Was never told not to touch anything, saw a dress I wanted to show friends and the worker came rushing up and started rudely saying how were werent to touch anything. Had she been polite about it I would have been ok. When I tried saying sorry she just kept going on being snarky about it. Will never give them my business. Thanks but no thanks.

I didnt get my dress from here but I did bring my dress here to get alterations and Marissa was AMAZINGGGG!! I am beyond happy with every adjustment she made. She even added a bit to the back of the dress that was perfect; it balanced the whole look. She was also so brave for attempting the french bustle even though my dress is chiffon and multiple layers, it came out beautiful... I am so excited to dance the night away in a dress that looks and FEELS amazing. I cant thank you enough Marissa :-)

The store front appeared small but on the inside there was so much more, an abundance of delights. The service was wonderful, caring and attentive. I pulled several gowns that were gorgeous on the hanger but not so much on me, then she pulled one out that I would not have picked and it brought me to tears, just like my love, it was The One. They have a huge selection of beautiful gowns in every silhouette, and in plus sizes too. You can glam up your dress too, with dazzling embellishments, belts, tiaras etc. I treated such loving kindness, no stress or pressure. Behind the front of the store are more gowns, a sitting parlor with gentle lighting, furnished in kind of an elegant bohemian vibe. I was offered refreshment and rest as we considered the rest of our bridal needs. I am older and larger and to be treated so thoughtfully made this a beautiful experience in preparing for my and my Husbands special day. (30 year Vow Renewal) The prices were much better than expected too.

Just got done with my final dress fitting. Marissa Asplund did an amazing job. I got my dress, veil, and shoes from here. They are so friendly, professional and most of all they do amazing work. Even my fiance got his tuxedo from here. Definitely RECOMMEND shopping here. Its a completely different experience than going to a traditional Davids Bridal. I felt so special and valued here. And also note this is a Vancouver Owed Business we should always shop for LOCAL Businesses 💖💕💖

This shop was beautiful. I visited with a friend to search for a bridesmaid dress for her for a wedding shes attending, and the staff was so kind and helpful, but the entire atmosphere of the shop had me hearing wedding bells myself! I will ABSOLUTELY be visiting them if (hopefully!) I need my own dress some day! So much nicer than Davids bridal.

I love the dress that I purchased from Beyond the Viel but the whole experience was not so great! I only gave it 1 star and thats because of the dress!!!Consultant was really pushy, only had a few selections. I wanted to go to a different shop just for the experience and to see if there was another dress I could possibly want. When I asked if she could hold the dress just for today, she flat out said NO, started asking me why I didnt like the dress! I told her it wasnt that, its just that they only had a limited selection. She then proceeded to tell me all the other boutique had the same manufacturers and I wouldnt find another dress that fits me perfectly for the price. I was so torn, so I purchase the dress!!! (no refund or exchanges, was told after the fact) Im having buyers remorse not because I dont like the dress but because of the way I was treated!!!If I could do it all over again, I would of went elsewhere!!! I would not recommend this bridal boutique to anyone, that consultant totally ruined it for me!!!!!!!!I wanted to also add that there was an older Gentleman that helped us toward the end with pictures that was really nice, changed the mood of my bridal party!!

Beyond the Veil was my 4th visit to a bridal store in a span of 2 days. The only reason I give one star is because zero stars is not an option. My consultant was very sweet though obviously did not know materials. After stating I definitely DID NOT want tulle or floral lace among other things she brought me over to a beaded ball gown with a full lace bodice and huge tulle skirt. Before even looking at the dresses my consultant got my measurements OVER MY CLOTHES and was told I was a size 18. I know this is not an accurate way to take measurements. At my other appointments measurements came last and then I was told based on the designers specific sizing what size I would need. Moving on I went around and selected 7 or 8 dresses I wanted to try out. My consultant did nothing to suggest any dresses or bring any to my attention. Next, the fitting. My consultant attempted to put each dress (including ones with very full skirts) over my head instead of having me step into them. This was new as at all of my past appointments regardless of style the dress was laid out for me to step into and then pulled up. Initially I had no problem with this though as she was trying to pull them off back over my head the buttons/zippers/clasps kept getting caught in and pulling my hair. Finally, I wear around a size 16 and am aware that as sample sizes run smaller clamps would need to be used to show me how my figure would look in each dress. The first few dresses I tried on my consultant made no attempt to fasten them with clamps or anything and just stood there expecting me to walk out holding the dress up with my hands. This was still the case when trying on ones that were way too big, she made no attempt to clamp the extra in the back so I could see what it would actually look like as it was 3-4 sizes too big. Finally when I found one dress I sort of liked and mentioned liking a more simple skirt she said the designer was very customizable and a more simple skirt could be substituted. When asked if they had a simple crepe skirt to put over the detailed one she did not know what crepe was and when we explained she pulled a sheath dress that she expected me to put over an a-line full skirt. Please just go literally anywhere else. I had fantastic experiences at Your Big Day in Camas, The White Dress in Portland, and Ania Bridal in Portland. And, Beyond the Veil, please provide some training to your consultants.

They were great! so helpful and had many options eventhough Im plus size. They didnt mind my huge crowd and had no time limit. I tried on so many dresses! They really worked with me to make sure I had exactly what I wanted. Mary was so sweet and helpful! Everyone there seemed genuinely excited to help me get ready for the big day!

I could not have asked for a more perfect experience finding a dress. I found my dream dress here, and they made me feel special every moment I was there. I spent over 3 hours trying dress after dress after dress, until I found the perfect one. They attended to every detail, every step of the way, making sure I was happy the entire time. They were so kind and patient, and made me feel at home the entire process. I came back the following day, after sleeping on my decision, and they welcomed me without an appointment, encouraged me to try on the dress as many times I wanted. Not once did I feel pressured, or rushed. I said yes to the dress, we celebrated, and I could not be more thankful for Jeff and his team. There are a variety of dresses to choose from, and beautiful accessories. Im looking forward to working with them when my dress comes in!

I said yes to the dress and it was such a wonderful and memorable experience. First of all the location is beyond gorgeous. When we went it wasnt over crowded and it was so clean and classy. There was plenty of room in the dressing room. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We were there for only and hour and half and we were able to find the perfect dress for the perfect price. I would definitely recommend this store. Its way less hectic than Davids bridal and they really take care of you here. I felt completely special after everything was done. I was so glad we decided to go to this place. 😊😍🙂

Went in to try on wedding dresses last week and I have never met a more friendly staff. They welcomed us like family and went out of theyre way to help me find exactly the dress I was looking for! I would highly recommend!

Would not recommend this place. I had the worst experience with them. I had ordered and paid for two flower girl dresses I had the size for one dress but needed some measurements for the other dress. The day after we had ordered and paid for the dresses I called and gave the measurements for the second dress. A week later they called me for the measurements after I had already given them the measurements a week ago. Girl on the phone then found the measurements I had already given them and said everything was good. They never ordered the dresses and decided to wait another week to call me again because they were confused about the sizing and said they would send me a sizing chart so I could see their measurements for the sizes and I never received the sizing chart so I had to go into the store to figure out why they were so confused about the measurements. After that got figured out I was told they should be there that following Friday. I called that Friday to see if they were there and was told no they should be by Wednesday. They still were not there by that Wednesday I came into the store again to see if they were there yet and was told no because it took them so long to get the sizing right and that it should be another month! After I left the store about an hour later they called me and said I would be able to pick them up the next day. When I went to pick them up the dress was completely wrong!! There were suppose to be a green belt with a peach flower around the waist and peach petals inside the netting of the dress and instead we got a plain white dress with a peach ribbon to tie around the waist and they told me they ordered the wrong belt and petals and the right ones should be here Monday. They gave me 25$ back because of there mistakes and horrible communication and I just didn’t want to deal with them anymore took the dress even though I should of just returned them and got my money back. By the way it doesn’t matter how many times you try to call them 99% of the time they won’t answer the phone. They are the most disorganized store I have ever been to so please save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

I was dress shopping with my teenage daughter for an upcoming formal. My daughter tried on many dresses and Tamara the owner was absolutely amazing. Their customer service is not notch! I dont think you will find better prices either. we will never shop at another store for formal wear.

After looking at two other bridal boutiques (one large, one small and specialized), I was losing faith that Id find what I was looking for. Thankfully, I was able to find my dream dress in my dream price range at Beyond the Veil Bridal.The staff had received and read my online questionnaire and knew the type of dress I was looking for. They made me feel comfortable in taking my time to look at all the dresses and made great recommendations. I did not feel pressured, anxious, or overwhelmed. The staff were professional, very personable, and made my mom and I feel very comfortable. After learning my wedding was in 6 months, they worked with me to ensure a dress would arrive in time for alterations (and didnt make me feel panicked or worried!).The selection was incredible. They had so many incredible dresses, from beautifully detailed to wonderfully simple. I had no idea that there was so much room in the shop. They also had great accessories to help me bring my vision to life and really see what the dress would look like on my big day.An update:After ordering the dress in December, I was told the dress would arrive in late March/early April. Due to COVID-19, I expected some delay in delivery or communication. I left multiple voicemails and emails over two weeks. We finally found a phone number that the owner answered. He dropped what we was doing to meet us at the store for us to do a curbside pickup of the dress. He mentioned that the dress had arrived at the store before mandated store closures. Lastly, we noticed after we arrived home that we were charged an additional $50 for a novelty garment bag that we weren’t asked if we were interested in.Overall, I have mixed feelings. The shop was conveniently located, it was a comfortable experience, and I found the dress I was unable to find anywhere else. However, customer service and communication were disappointing and almost didn’t allow me to pick up my dress.

This bridal shop is a must to visit! The owners truly care about taking care of you and their selection and prices are both amazing! We visited several bridal shops in both WA and OR before stopping here and this was by far the best! The owners are so personal and have truly beautiful hearts and will make sure you have a unforgettable experience!

I came here with my daughter after we had a prom fiasco 5 days before prom from ordering a dress online. They were the sweetest people and helped us find everything we need: a beautiful dress, necklace, and heels, all at a discounted price. We stayed until an hour after they closed and they were nothing but friendly to us. A wonderful experience and completely made up for the online disaster!

If I could give 10 stars I would. I am probably the worst type of bride customer there is...I hate wedding dresses. I never pictured myself married, wedding ect. Made an appointment to see how I feel about it. Plus I wasn’t expecting much from being a plus sized woman. I was pleasantly surprised. I found the perfect dress and had a blast doing it. Plus it was 50% off!!!

I tried on dresses here a couple months ago. Out of all the places I tried dresses on, this was the worst, most unprofessional experience. I had called about a specific dress to try on and made an appointment ahead of time with the owner I spoke to on the phone. When I walked into the store a few minutes early, the woman working there was very surprised, so I said I had an appointment and she just continued to looked at me with a blank stare. She had no idea what dress I wanted to try, so I just went through to try on a handful of dresses. The lady had no idea what she was doing and acted surprised when I asked her to help me try on the dresses (since I went alone to this appointment). In the end, I found a dress I liked and she said the owner would call me later that day about some alterations I wanted to have made. I never heard back from them at all, and ended up getting a dress somewhere else. Just got a call from them about a Black Friday sale....really?

Since no one will answer or return my calls, here’s my review of this place...I came in in April and ordered my dress which they said was IN STOCK and I was told it would come in 3 weeks...July 9th I finally got a call saying the dress arrived...thats nearly 3 months..after picking up the dress I tried it on at home and at the bottom there was a hole that they had horribly attempted to stitch up with a very noticeable stitch and thread. I had tried calling and calling and not one of my calls were answered or returned. Please save yourself the stress and goTo another place.

I absolutely love this place! I just bought my dress Saturday, & they made th experience just wonderful! They made it possible for me to get all the customizations I wanted! All my bridesmaids got their dresses too! I had a big party with me and they did a great job of making everyone happy! I highly recommend this bridal shop!

On its way from Minnesota my bridesmaid dress got lost in the mail. I had to find another one quick....perhaps a little too quick...As I was calling every bridal store nationwide in hopes of a miracle I came across this shop. Having never met me or having anything to do with the original order, the owner Jeff has been going to bat for me for days with the dress company to have a new dress made in time. He has done this without any upfront guarantee, payment from me or any added mark ups on his end.If you are getting married or know someone who is getting married, I cannot recommend this boutique to you enough. These folks will get you what you need and they will do it with a level of professionalism and customer service I AM CONFIDENT you will not find anywhere else

We are happy with the service we received from them. I Would do business with them again but only getting married once. Would recommend to any bride and groom to be to choose these guys first.

This place is AMAZING! I couldn’t be more pleased with how I was taken care of! Everyone was so sweet and fun!! I would recommend them to any bride out there! Great selection with personalized service. High quality options at decent prices. I did have a delay in receiving my items (tiara and veils), but that could have been due to the snow and ice.

Beyond horrible experience. I kept calling to check and see when my Bridesmade dress would be in. I’d already ordered it and paid in full at the time of the order. All the other Bridesmade’s dresses had come in already and they’d all ordered theirs a couple months later than I did.Beyond the veil finally called me the weekend before the wedding saying it had just arrived. When I went to pick it up the dress was the completely wrong color and the paperwork with the dress said that it had actually arrived over a month ago - they just either never realized it or didn’t let me know.They told me they’d rush order one in the right color and call me when it was on it’s way. They never called. I kept calling them several times and leaving messages and they never bothered to return any of my calls. Two days before the wedding my partner stopped in to talk to them in person. My dress was on its way.It came in a day before the wedding and then I had to pay for express alterations on it - which they refused to offer/pay for despite their massive screw up.I would not recommend this completely unprofessional bridal shop to anyone and have discouraged my engaged friends from going there. Never got an apology or and explanation for my experience.

The owners of this store went out of their way to make sure I had a dress that fit my body shape and was within my budget.I absolutely would recommend this shop, for your wedding dress, Holiday cocktail dress and New years dress!

Another update on my experience...although they said they have tried to contact me...ive tried to get my issue with my dress resolved yet no one was willing to do anything about the rip in my dress. all they did was blame it on the manufacturer and took no responsibility on themselves for selling me a ripped dress. I also did not get any sort of reimbursement and was only advised to send my dress back ( not possible since my wedding is a week away and their shipping has also been over 3 months) also as im talking to the owner trying to figure out a way to fix this mess i hear him turn around to one of his workers and say i dont even know why im talking to her. at this point, im so beyond fed up with them and would never recommend them to anyone. Ive had the worst experience with them

Bought a bridal gift for my sister from here and with wedding dresse. Price was not exactly expensive as expected.. The customer service was superb..

Took my 14 year old daughter to this amazing business to buy her first ever highschool winter formal dress. This girl hates dresses, and hates shopping. Jeff and Anastasiya actually got her to love this process!!! Ive never experienced better customer service, or seen a staff who go so far out of their way to ensure youre true satisfaction. The pricing was great, alteration appointments already scheduled, and the actual business is gorgeous!! You feel wqrm, and invited from the minute you walk in. As a father who isnt quite ready for his little girl to grow up, they sure made this fun, relaxing, and a positive experience for everyone. I highly recommend Beyond the Veil, and will certainly be bringing my daughter back for more dresses through the years!

I called 3 times in the span of about 2 hours before making my way down there. & when i got there a sighn on the door advised me they will reopen at 1:30, it was almost 2. So i sat around about 10 minutes to learn they didnt have my designer. Kinda disappointed.

Greeted by a gentlemen there who proceeded to tell me that the other bridal shops in town were all trying to sell their businesses to him.. talking poorly about other businesses is NOT the best way to earn business- it in fact immediately left a bad taste in my mouth and made his salesmanish attitude unbearable.. The lady who worked there was very friendly without being over the top like he was.. she is the only reason why I didnt rate this place a 1. The prices were higher then other shops I have been to and they didnt have anything that I was looking for (looking for a little non-traditional
