This location is okay. Big Negative: Hardly any products actually on shelves and in stock. Some people do actually like going to the Store to buy things and it seems like Joanns only wants online shoppers because 90 % of products they sell are ONLY AVAILABLE ONLINE. 90 % of their coupons and sale prices are only applicable to online orders, or BUY ONLINE PICK UP IN STORE (Which is USELESS if the product isnt in stock at the store!!!!). Basically, if youre an online customer of Joanns, you can benefit greatly and access all the discounts and products they offer, but if youre only able to shop in store, youre excluded. In my opinion this is pretty discriminatory on their part and not all inclusive to everyone whod like to be able to shop here and access the offered discounts when doing so. Very unfair and frankly, Id rather take my hard earned money elsewhere because of it. Makes me sad because Ive shopped here since I was younger.Today I went to the hwy 99 location to pick up a few stamps and ink pads, and didnt find anything in stock. I was able to get a small wooden dresser 75% off because it was damaged a little (very easily fixed) so that was awesome, and the cashier was wonderful!The Store was clean and organized and Id love to be able to shop here more, but when they dont have anything I need in stock, or Im unable to use their coupons because Im in the store and not online, they make it impossible. I dont have these issues shopping at Craft Warehouse or Hobby Lobby. I hope they read their customer reviews and consider how they online only policies are affecting customers and in fact, turning us away.

Love this store! There is such a variety of crafting items. What I like most is the amount and choices of material to sew with, its great! I also like their yarn selections too.

Friendly employees. My cashier Judy was the best. She showed me some things about coupons and rewards on the app I didn’t know about that helped save a nice amount of money. She was knowledgeable about latest ads, coupons and emails that also helped me save even more money. She’s patient and kind. Excellent customer service Judy! Just wish the selections were as good as the larger locations but size does matter.

I cant get enough of this place. I just bought some cool yarn. Scrub yarn. Cant wait to try it. They always have some neat little gadgets to look at. But most of all the selection of fleece is so big so many to choose from.

Super nice girl that was working the closing shift on September 3rd! You can always find everything you need at Joann Fabric. It was 8:30 on a Friday night and I was in dire need of beans to fill a beanbag chair! Joanns came to the rescue!!!♡♡♡

Been shopping and using coupons there for years, big selections, variety, lots of crafts items, good fabric of the bolt and sewing notions.

I had ordered a printed sweatshirt online, turned it inside out to wash before wearing and after drying the same way, discovered the white lettering (on black background) had started cracking. I went to JOANNS because Im not a craftsy person but I knew they have very knowledgeable help. After explaining that I wanted to repaint the cracked letters, I was shown the Textile Medium, which is the product that gives flexibility to the paint when its added, preventing it from cracking. An Acrylic White paint was chosen and I was told how many parts Medium to parts paint, found the perfect angled brush for a clean, sharp edge and was quickly on my way. The employees have always been helpful and pleasant.

They had exactly what I needed and 40% off.

They have so much in this place. Went in for a sewing pattern and came out with that plus craft items. Such a large variety. I will definitely be a regular here!

Mostly great staff, good options, but I came in this morning and a manager was very rude towards this young checker. I believe Paul or Paula was the name but she had me nervous! This young lady didn’t seem to be doing anything out of the ordinary.

I love Joann fabrics! There are a few employees who I absolutely appreciate. They help you understand pricing when youre confused about your receipt, they let you trade out fabric that isnt what you had wanted, and they are typically in a good mood! Only one lady gave me a condescending attitude, unfortunately I think she might be a manager of sorts.. fabric choices are always abundant!

They have the best selection and best-priced of fabric dyes, shirts, bags, socks to tie-dye!

Its amazing the things you can find in JoAnn Fabrics! If the store in Hazel Dell doesnt have what youre looking for, try the store in Orchards. Its much bigger with lots more things you never knew you needed. And they do a great job of framing those special pictures!

Great place to get seasonal decorations to polish off a party. I needed small flags for my Fourth of July barbecue. It was great that they had them and they were at a discount. I do not craft or sew, but it’s a great place I frequent for seasonal items.

This place has some great coupons, i outfitted a baby shower and made a couple blankets on the cheap, got some Christmas decorations too - great wrapping paper options. Could browse once a week, just love the store and the nice employees.

My trip to this Joann Fabric and Crafts was good. I am a man and not very experienced with crafting. The staff were cordial and worked to be informative.I will go back, because the stock on hand was plentiful, and seemed to be of good quality.I would like to see classes being taught here.

Found just the right yarn and recently got a huge cake of yarn for an afghan (posted pictures of it being turned into a ball) it is the biggest yarn ball Ive ever done that wasnt multiple skeins of yarn.

Very inexpensive on most things... although some stuff is priced WAAAY above normal. But typically not. Good variety of stuff.

During this crazy pandemic, I really appreciated that they opened 2 hours before the other Joann locations in town. Needed some items on my way to work, and was able to be in and out without an issue. Staff was super friendly, and helpful! Definitely recommend this location!

I had the best experience at my Vancouver JoAnns today.I have a costume event coming up & found the most fabulous fabric ever! It was out of my budget but I wanted it so had it cut, took it up to the cashier & she told me to get their app, which I did & to my total amazement the coupons saved me almost $50.00!Thank You to the helpful fabric cutter gal and the great cashier! This is a great local place to get yarn and fabric. Their selection is pretty unbeatable in those sections. The employees are also helpful and kind. It always seems like their prices are a little lower than their competitors, and if not, there is always a coupon to help you get a better deal. Almost everytime Im in line, one of the checkers is helping someone find a coupon they didnt know about to help lower the price. The over all service is what keeps me coming back.

While they had what I needed, when I asked to use restroom was told NO. I had a cart full of fabric, cutting mat and more. Since I needed to go, I left it all. Later went to other joann in town, bought what I was earlier. While getting fabric cut was discussing the sales clerk couldnt believe it. She said their restrooms were open for customers. Wont go back to the hazel del store if can help it, very rude staff.

Joanns give coupons, and the cashier was not willing to try the various coupons to give the customer a better deal. She said that she is just a humble cashier, meaning, as can not accommodate customers. Joanns, for a big corporation is not consistent with their policies, or just that some cashiers give good customer service and others not so much. This is one Joanns store that I will not be visiting again.

Pretty huge. The remodeled and changed things around last year I believe and it looks so good now.

They have a great selection, and its one of the only places in the area to get fabric. The prices are a bit high, but if you sign up, theyll text you a coupon every day. They also have very cute decorations, lots of craft supplies (yarn, scrapbook paper, paint, ribbon, etc), and a huge selection of fabric. If you dont need very much fabric, they do have a remnant rack next to the counter where they cut your fabric.

I love Joann fabrics and crafts. They always have sales and deals on their merchandise and I always find what I need for a great deal.

Nice remodel. Great new classroom area, Good Layout. Shopping carts are too big for the narrow aisles so it takes longer to get to items and to navigate store with cart. Smaller carts, please.

Very limited fabric. One cashier while others walking around. The one cashier was also answering phone. Worst fabric choices and service ever. Usually very good.

I was very disappointed in the limited inventory available from this store. I walked in with the intent to purchase a protractor, but when I asked where they were I was told they didnt have any. To say the least, I was furious. I began to scream for the manager, but all I was met with was threats to call the police. Overall a very negative experience

I may have all ready entered a review that seemed unfinished. My cat took over the key board. I mostly make repairs, stuffed animal, cloth bags from old pants(rip the seams out of legs, sew left & right together put a bottom on or just sew the bottom of legs to end as V. Make strap long to hang or short for handles) I like Joann because They almost all ways have the buckles, buttons, snaps, curved, or designed for leather work needle I need. Also If my idea is not fit for their Fabric, they can tell me where to look. Apparently this review is cat approved he is sleeping in my lap.
