Very polite, patient and helpful staff. They helped me find the exact uniforms I needed for my kids. They even took the time to check stock in the back if there wasnt available sizes on the rack. The store was clean and organized. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for quality uniforms.

I am EXTREMELY DISGUSTED with this company. This is the worst year. Ordered uniforms 8/4/21 I order approximately 5 or 6 shirts, did not receive one of the shirts I paid for, even ask for the shirt in another color. If you cannot supply my shirt then why not give me the refund that is due me. Poor customer service or lack of customer. I hope the father and son who own this business read these reviews, because this will only make you better!

Could be better customer service, but they had what I needed in stock

I placed an order in early August, well before school begins for 8 uniform shirts. When my son started school in early September I reached to them on my order and as to why the such long delay. I have been placed on very very long holds and NO ONE has responded to NONE of my emails. I received a package with 1 shirt but an invoice with all the shirts i ordered. I DO NOT recommend anyone use this store to order your child’s uniform. Customer service is horrible, Still to this day, no one has contacted me about my order !

I am a parent of Riverton, and I have two kids going there. The jacket or the blazer are too expensive. You would think ok I will just buy the Crest or badge from ideal.. no you have to buy the expensive 60$ blazer to get the badge. Come on ideal uniform, you can do better than that with your prices.

This was my go to store for my scrubs and my daughters school uniforms but this year was not a great experience. I dont know if it was a lack of being prepared, inexperience, or something else but there was a lot of workers yet no one to truly help you. Someone would send you to the gym dept area and they would send you back to the front area and back and forth very frustrating. I will say once your on the gym department line and you know what size your getting its smooth sailing the young lady that helped me was great and had patience. Once done with her the printing of the uniforms didnt take long. Some staff had great customer service.

The staff that dealt with my daughters uniforms and logos was helpful as well as the cashier. But besides that this place is horrible. You cant get anyone on the phone to check on the status of an order. Its been over a month now and i am still waiting for my daughters school pants that i ordered for her. Crazy ridiculous

UPDATED 10/6/21 After waiting for an hour on the phone, customer service rep hanged up the phone. I called back, wait for another 1/2 hour to be told someone will call back the next day, HOWEVER IF NOBODY CALL ME, TO CALL BACK AGAIN...WHATS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE..I told her I wanted her name,, she refused to give me her name. No help at all.. I had paid for Express shipping and it has been over a month and got nothing, Not even socks...When I called last week I was told I was calling Manhattan, however today the representative told me I was calling Brooklyn... what kinds of games are they playing.9/30/21 Do not pay for express shipping if 1 item is in backorder. Order it separately. One item in my order was in a 3 month back order but I needed the rest of the items to be shipped right away so I paid for express delivery. After calling a couple times to find out where the items were, the customer service rep finally told me they were waiting for the item in the back order to shipped them all together... they were going to wait 3 to 4 months to ship the items. Not a very smart way to do business 🙄. I asked her to shipp them separately. Hope I will receive items next week.

I had order my son gym uniform 2 weeks ago, I paid for shipping because they did have any of his school uniform in YL, than the gym shirts I bought didnt have the school logo on it. so I address it in a nice way and paid to have it ship to my home which suppose to be 5-7 days. I have called numerous time and lift messages no one still havent contacted me and their phone keeps going to voice mail....

Nice location, parking was available & the staff was polite. They didnt carry the uniform that I needed because the school is in Brooklyn. This location is so much more convenient than the Brooklyn location though.

It was that time of year again so I went with my daughter to buy her school uniform and let me tell you how AMAZINGGGG the workers are. So sad I don’t know the name of the person who helped me since their name tag wasn’t visible but they helped so much. They made going into the new school year SO much easier.

Absolutely horrible I ordered a uniform shirt headband skirt in august I’ve been calling calling each time I call they tell me that they’re waiting for headband next call skiirt yesterday the young lady said they were waiting for the shirt. Day before that I stayed on the phone for 4 hours no lie and no one answered I just let it ring out they were texting me with waiting for your items but that stopped . I just want my granddaughters uniform and will shop in store next time It’s been a month SOS

Mostly busy during this season. Go early. Get custom uniforms/items first, itll take awhile. Seek out an employee immediately to help you find stuff.

Waaaaaay too far to get uniforms. They use to do a pop-up shop in the Bronx, but decided against this year. Another problem is when the lines are getting long, that is a cue for management to step in and assist. I am all for the students having a job, however waiting in line for 30 mins is ridiculous, while the people and the floor act like they are doing something. Mind you, the store just opened up for the day, the racks are filled with clothes, why are the floor people STILL putting out more clothes, when there is a line growing longer and longer. Do better people.

Unfortunately I went to this store when I shold have gone to the Flatbush store. Both stores really need to pick up their phones so that one could find out if your childs uniform is carried there.I thought they carried it in both stores. The website should specify this and would have saved me time. The valley spring store was closer to me, instead of the Flatbush. Staff in the store were excellent in directing me were to go.

Its crazy how they dont have uniforms in stock. The wait time is 3 to 6 weeks and dont even try ordering online because its the same. My childs school uses only this location and I think at the next PTA Meeting Ill have them know that its disastrous with whats going on. Another thing the sizes on the pants are NOT correct!

These people are very disorganized, I ordered the beginning of August and shipped back returns for a bigger size, a sales girl kept brushing me off about “ we’ll call you when your order is ready”. Which they never bothered calling and the order stood there a whole week, the manager made excuses of why the order was never called in to make the exchange, for him to tell me the size I needed isn’t there two weeks later!!! 🤬

This ideals is the worst! Poor customer service and a handful of random sized nursing uniforms. Save yourself a trip and don’t even bother going to this store if you’re shopping for work medical uniforms. Store is always super packed and your better off using the online, if youd like to wait even longer now waiting 2-months for my two articles of clothing to arrive. By the time it does arrive, Ill forget just why I ordered it in the first place and hopefully the size I last selected still fits by the time it does come!

Horrible customer service, no one picks up the phone or answers emails . I ordered something online on September 16th it’s now October 10th I’m just now receiving it but I’m missing part of my order .

Staff is very nice and helpful. I ordered and h as d to exchange the polo for school and the sz was too big for my daughter. I was able to came in this morning and change no problem. Nice store and love the area.

I dont know who removed my review but I did not give this place 5stars. The service was poor. The young girl and guy went in the back left me and my mom to search for the items we needed. Not sure what they were doing in the back alone but I have a idea that two had to leave the customers

I bought some pants for my son in March and unfortunately due to the schools being closedbecause of quarantine he was unable to use them.I never took off the tags,the pants are brand new.Today i went to buy the new school year uniforms and wanted to exchange those pants for a bigger size since they are small on him now and was told i couldnt exchange them.They are very unfair because I didnt want the money back.So when i asked what was i supposed to do with them,they told me to donate them!Seriously?What kind of customer service is that?I dont recommend this place at all.

We were stress free that day to pick up our son outfits because there a sweet young lady that help us throughout our shopping experience so it was easier and less stressful for us. Great job for the staff that works their because it shows team work.

I went in for medical uniforms. If i were looking for plain scrubs that were just solid colors and one style, this place would be great. There is no variety, and they do not have any cute scrubs that you would usually see at other nursing uniform places. I really wanted to see if they had some Halloween scrubs on clearance since today is Halloween but they only had plain ones. If you are going in for school uniforms this looks like a good place to go.

There is no process here. waited 70 mins for a uniform order. when I asked - simply told because i had six items, fewer items were given first preference. I will no return and will not recommend.

TERRIBLE SERVICE

A bit of a hole in the wall, but had scrubs in my size for same day buying! A bit weird that they dont embroider on the spot, but can be done elsewhere.

Best store I’ve ever been to! Only place to shop for all things to do with school! 100% reccomend! Staff is EXTREMELY helpful and customer service is OUTSTANDING! Very well trained! Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

This company is terrible. I placed an order on August 14 for my childrens uniforms. I received 1 out of 16 items on September 14. I emailed customer service and called the store about my order and received either no reply/further information about the delay. After threatening to dispute the charge with my bank for fraud, I finally received an email with a tracking number. I called customer service again and explained that I only received one item to my address. After insisting that I was mistaken for at least ten minutes, the customer service rep then realized that the bulk of my order had been delivered to the wrong address in Brooklyn. The woman on the phone was rude and refused to connect me with a supervisor.

The worst shopping experience EVER!!! I ordered my kids uniforms online early in the summer and it is now September, and still No uniforms. I ordered 10 items and only received 2. I have been calling and each time I am transferred from the call center to the Valley Stream store, where I am placed on hold for 20 minutes and then my call is dropped. They finally shipped it, but guess what? THEY LOST MY BLOODY PACKAGE!!!! Still trying to locate the uniforms with UPS and IDEAL. Thank God my kid is done with uniforms after this year! I wouldnt recommend this store to anyone!

Experience in the store is good. They move quickly and the wait time is low - except for back to school season. Even then I waited 20 minutes for the to print 3 polos and 2 tshirts. Pants are decently priced but Ive found cheaper at the same quality at generic uniform stores. They have much more hosiery and accessories for girls than boys.When you call either location they often give bad information so make sure to get answers from your location. They are trying to be helpful and are always nice but they definitely cause confusion.

Everything very neat and organized, made shopping experience very smooth. Good selection of scrubs, however there is room for improvement. For the moment they do not carry the Greys Anatomy line and as for the variety of sizes, they have the standard XS-XL and only regular lengths.

Helpful staff. Try not to wait last min its super crazy there. Long lines due to back to school. Prices are very high wish the uniforms are more economical

Back to School UniformsWent to get my kids uniform after going to their website to get a clue about this years prices. Wen checking out, prices were way higher and when questioned the cashier was nasty, mean and sarcastic. I made them go online and verify and made them adjust my totals.My advice to all of you: go online and check the prices before you set foot on this store.Only pro: the staff on the floor assisting are very helpful, nice and courteous.

Ideal is one of the best uniform stores, I find whatever I need whenever I shop here!!!!! And truth is, if they dont have it they try to either send you where you can get it or try to get it for you.

This place had greats service when i went there. I have four kids who needed help and they helped each one of them individually with patience. i got exactly what i needed and i was in and out thanks to the helpful workers there. The owner was a gentleman with us and helped us a lot and to speak to him if we have any problems. They get very busy with Back to School so make sure to make it out there early and youll be able to find whatever you need

They had everything that I needed. I didnt have to come back. Wait was long for logo to be pressed onto gym clothes. Was told it was due to a large delivery coming in and staff was needed. Metered parking and sometimes limited.

I went to the store to by my sisters uniform at the end of July. They dont do embroidery so I placed an order through them to get the finished product. They said that they would contact me when the package arrived. Two weeks passed and I did not get a phone call. I called them to ask about my order and they refused to answer my question. Instead, they left me on the line just so they wouldnt talk to me. I went to the store in person and thats when I found out that they never placed my order so I asked for a refund. The kids working there are cool but the manger is not pleasant at all. Get your kids uniform somewhere else if you can. Youll save yourself the trouble.

They have employees walking around, standing around, and doing nonsense things while the line line builds and there is only 1 employee helping customers. When asked if there was only one person helping and employee answered “I guess so... umm looks like it” and continued doing “busy work”. Terrible customer service.

This place should be called Not Ideal Uniforms. Every year we get a deep sense of foreboding & gloom when we have to come here for our childs school uniform. We come here because they are the only place where we can get the shirts & sweaters with the school logo. A $5 white polo shirt? $20 here. $5 sweatpants with the logo ironed on? $20.They are very good at exercising their advantage. We were given cardigan sweaters and just wanted to buy the patch to sew on. Oh no - we had to use their cardigans which must be superior as they cost twice as much.Dont buy anything from here you dont have to. For anything that didnt have the school logo I found better quality clothes at half the price in Cookies on Jamaica Ave.Price gouging aside, the staff has never been adequate to handle the crowds. Dont think you can avoid it by shopping online either. When I ordered one of the previously mentioned overpriced sweatpants they didnt bother to put the school logo on it. Why would I order just a pair of sweatpants? Completely ridiculous. I had to go to the store with the sweatpants and wait and wait and wait and wait while they ironed on the logo.If you are an institution who values the parents & students that need to wear the school uniform, then pick a different store please.(Edit: Corrected spelling error)

8/18/18this store is amazing. once I walked in there, a staff member greeted me. The staff is well organized and in sync. They make the clothes right there in the store, too. I bought a hoodie for my son and I noticed that one of the letters on the print was cut off. I told them about it and they made a new hoodie for FREE! It was quick and I have no complaints.

Staff was very helpful and patient with me and my kids. Place is stocked with all types of school and medical uniforms. Slocation was clean and organized.Great shipping ex experience!

School and profesional uniform for kid teenager and adult.

I purchased my childs uniform from the store in Valley Stream back in the 3rd week of July. Some of the items were not present at the store during the time of my visit so I chose the option of placing an order for delivery. Not only did my order not come in time for school in September but, the order that I received what that of another student in another school that is actually in Pre K. My daughter is in middle school with completely different uniform colors and I received a package that said my name on the outside but after opening the package the order was that of someone else in elementary school. By the way, I did not receive the order until 2 weeks after school started. I have been calling customer service everyday since and have not been able to get through at all. Each time Ive called, I spent 30 minutes or more on the line. The answering service requires you to press any button to leave a message so that someone can call you back, and when calling from my cellphone, I could touch any button under the sun and it would not allow me to do so. This is too much. I never experienced this with the site in Brooklyn.

Very unorganized store waiting weeks and still no uniform shirt..

I was walking into the store that may have been closing for the day but the door was open and people were shopping in the store. A man who apparently is the security guard sitting down on his cell phone said what you doing going in there with that ?! (referring to my folded scooter) He says the store is closed! That was very unprofessional and disrespectful. I will get my childs uniform online at Amazon.

Can get really busy and crowed.But they have every uniform you need for any school.. Pricing can be a little expensive. Some schools will give you discount card that really helps.I dont mind shopping here.

It was very crowded, small store . We went out there so we can pick up my nieces school logo uniform to end up having to order online instead. Parking was confusing as well, some meters did not even work.

I gave it three stars because it oughta be a larger outlet but my experience with the floor assistances, shoe assistant and counter assistant for uniforms was absolutely professionally charming under a very busy day.these ladies held up, their own and even the young man behind the counter for emblazoning was patient, kind, funny and cool.what a great team. I went on a Wednesday morning-a week before school started on Wednesday the 5th of September. so, staff gets FOUR STARS and abig, big, big, big, hug from me and my loving God-fearing family.

I am not happy with this store!!! i placed an in store order end of July and it is now September 15th and none of my items have been received. I keep being told that my items are backordered by the other store in Brooklyn. I cant call the store directly because i was told they didnt have a phone in store. i am very upset and disappointed with this store. This is my second year ordering with them. Not a pleasant experience. i didnt experience this last year, not sure whats going on.

The in store sevice is terrific. However it has been a month since something g they did not have in stock. Today school opens and I still dont have my sons school shirts.
