I went in for an oil change, which was done quickly and efficiently. I also asked them to check my brakes because it had been a few years since I had them done. They said that the brakes were still okay but would probably need to be replaced the next time I brought it in for an oil change . I appreciated the honesty - many shops would have told me I needed them that day when I didnt. I will continue bringing my Genesis here for service. The staff is always friendly, which is also a big bonus.

After negative dealership experiences, I took my car to Victory Lane Automotive based on neighbors recommendations. Staff were friendly (cudos to Rachel), professional and the facility was clean and welcoming. Extensive work was performed in a timely and efficient manner, and repairs made the car handle like new. When a bad tire still caused alignment issues, Matt and his team eagerly realigned the car after the tire was fixed. We purchased a Series 80 Land Cruiser in Oklahoma and, after driving it for a couple weeks, decided that not having AC was a bad idea. So we brought it here to have them fix the AC. Went it running great and came out with a blown motor, barely able to be driven onto a trailer. Took it to another shop that determined there was a faulty fan clutch and likely Victory Lane let it idle in the parking lot for a long time and blew the motor. Approached Matt the discuss this and he said they did let it idle in the parking lot for about 20-30 minutes but there’s no way it’s their fault. I explained to him that the vehicle was running fine before we brought it to him and not we need a $3k engine rebuild and feel that he should bear the responsibility. As others have said, Matt isn’t an honest person and certainly not a man, so he wasn’t interested in taking responsibility for the actions of his shop.In case it comes up, there was many excuses that he came up with. At first he said the temperature gauge must not be working because they monitored it in the parking lot and it always showed good. But that’s not correct because after leaving the shop, the car was clearly overheating and the gauge showed that. Whenever they first pulled the vehicle in the shop they called me to tell me the oil was milky and had I noticed that before. Absolutely not, I changed the oil the day prior after our trip to Oklahoma and the oil was perfect. So why would they have reason to look at the oil whenever I took it in to get the AC done? It’s obvious they realized they blew the motor, looked at the oil to confirm, then called me and tried to pawn it off as it was blown already.Be very weary of taking your car here. Again, Matt isn’t an honest person and if there’s any issues, he won’t be a stand up person.

Fast. Friendly. Professional.My strut (shock absorber) has to be replaced ASAP. I called late in the day. They told me I could drop my car off or come in early in the a.m . I dropped my car off overnight and they had the job done by noon. The front guy Matt was very informative and patient. I feel like I paid a great price. They sent me a complimentary inspection that was very informative on my vehicles condition. I feel much more safe on the road after knowing all of that extra info. They didn’t push any extra work or try to get extra money out of me. They told me things would have to be done but that I had time. They could have easily stirred the pot and made me feel unsafe about my car in order for me to get more work done. But they didn’t. Very trustworthy and I would highly recommend this place.

I’m new to the area and glad I chose such a great shop. The staff is very nice and accommodating, they drove me home since I lived close and didn’t have a ride after dropping off my car. Their prices seem very fair and they are upfront about what your money will get you, and also about where the estimate may go up or go down depending on the materials and time needed. They have this neat aspect to their “courtesy check up,” in which they take an in depth look at your car and they actually send you a digital report that tells what is good, what should be serviced soon, and what really needs to be done, it also has their description of the issue, their recommendations, and pictures of worn parts and fluid checks. And since the report is digital, I can hold on to it for future repairs, knowing exactly what needs to be done to keep my car healthy. They also test drive the car so you don’t pay for them to repair your car and assume the problem is fixed, they make sure it is fixed. Overall a great experience. My only critique would be keeping people updated on their current bill, not that they tried to hide the bill, just makes it less likely customers have to call back because they forgot to ask how much their bill was before adding another fix. Thanks to all the great workers who helped me get my car in working order!

So far, I have taken two different cars to Matt for work and he and his team did a fantastic job. I gave him all week to work on the car, but he was done in less than 24 hours. Great Customer Service and work on my F150, good explanations to all of my questions, I will bring my other vehicles here in the future.Thank You.I had to take it back after 10 days because a curb was bumped while backing into a parking spot, there are 8 bolts that are part of the alignment, 2 of these were loose and threw off the alignment. Their response was they didnt touch those and dont feel obligated to check all bolts when they do an alignment, that would be looking for work. Those are their words. This attitude will not get my return business. You decide whether they should get yours.

Before doing any work on my vehicle the technicians did a full inspection and provided me with an analysis of all urgent and non urgent issues with my car. Matt was very thorough with recommendations to service all my needs. He even provided me photos of all the problem areas so I could fully understand treatment options. This review is long overdue as I have been going here now about 3 years now. A few months after my husband passed away I needed something more than an oil change. I wanted someplace convenient, but even more a place I could trust and return for all my auto needs. I called the KTSA auto show to discuss my problem and he recommended Victory Lane as an option and I am forever grateful he did. I called and spoke to Matt who was very friendly and listened patiently with my description and set up the appointment. My car had a serious vibration, it was fixed and Ive been going back ever since for all my auto needs. Was told vehicle won’t pass inspection when I refused to have the issues addressed by this shop (replace torn rear wiper blade), manager was rude and hung up on me. A few minutes later I get a text that the vehicle passes after all. It’s obvious the person was upset I didn’t use their services for extra added costs to the inspection, which wouldn’t have been much I’m sure, but it’s always about being truthful and going by the law for me. And since I am a lawyer, I am very familiar with what’s a honest mistake and what’s not. Obviously, I can’t believe that at first he didn’t know what does and doesn’t pass the inspection (the requirements are very basic and everyone who does the inspections knows these things), and it’s clear what was attempted.

I always have found that Victory Lane Automotive cares about their costumers getting their cars fixed quickly in a time efficient manner. They also are very personable and happy to answer questions and explain and show you everything they are doing to your car. As a woman I can say these guys know how to treat their customers of all genders with respect as well which is why I am a returning customer again and again.

They have served both my truck and my wifes jeep. They are fantastic mechanics, but also really good with customer service. Sometimes takes longer because it is not a big chain, but we also took in our vehicles in without an appointment so that is more our fault than theirs. The location is only slightly off the main road, but worth it. Victory Lane is highly recommended!

We recently had some major repair work done on our vehicle; it still needs much more work done on it, but we are saving up for that, as the work still needed isnt as urgent. Matt was the guy my husband interacted with, and he was very impressed at his honesty and knowledge. (My husband knows quite a bit about vehicles himself, but he doesnt have much time to work on ours, thus our need to find a shop!) Matt was able to clearly and truthfully communicate our vehicles needs and was able to advise my husband what needed to be done first. He was very respectful and wasnt pushy at ALL. The work was completed in a timely manner, and was done excellently (according to my hubby, who knew what he was looking at!) To top off an already excellent experience, we received a handwritten thank you card, signed by all of the employees, and inside the card was a $25 credit for Victory Lane. WOW!!! Not only were we impressed by the handwritten note (what business does THAT anymore?!) but $25 to spend with them! That is very generous, in our opinion. (And we will definitely be returning to use the credit! LOL) We were just so impressed with the professionalism, the work, and the generosity. Overall great service! I recently had several problems with my vehicle, they were able to receive my vehicle within 30min of my call. Right off sounded like they cared compared to a couple other places I called in the area, and gave me a car ride home. My vehicle went in Friday and got it back Tuesday afternoon. Properly diagnosed my vehicle and even gave me a heads up on some maintenance that needs tending to in the future, also was not pressured into some maintenance due to budget. Scott has been helping me with my vehicles for about ten years and helped me keep an old Suburban running for a long time. He and his staff have always been honest and fair. Recently, I was able to invest some money to restore a Ranger pickup truck that I was forced to lend my brother and sister and they have been driving and neglecting it for several years. They’ll work with me to get my vehicle done even when I’ve dropped it off without an appointment. Very responsive, honest, the 24 month parts and labor warranty is great.

Have had good service in the past with other automobiles. Had issues with current repairs on a F150. Scott the owner went above and beyond to correct the problem. My 2004 Crown Vic P71 engine was knocking bad right next to the cover of the passenger side timing chain cover. I assumed that the tensioner or timing chain was bad. I left it with Matt their Service Manager this morning at 0900. My wife and I have put 98,000 on the already 100,000 without hardly any maintenance. Matt called about an hour later with better news. It was the water pump making the bad sound. They did a water pump replacement along with approx. 6 more items that I should have been doing over the years. Matt called at 1600 to say our car was done and running great. Our service tech (mechanic) was Steve and the owner of the shop gave me a ride home when I dropped it off. They are all very committed to doing a great job for a fair price. I will use them in the future to help me keep up the the maintenance.

I am a hard person to deal with sometimes, and they really have done a great job. They fixed my radiator and it drove like new, and then my thermostat gave out, and theyre fixing that. If I got issues with my car. Im taking it here. They understand life and are super friendly people that dont make the situation worse.

I didnt have the best first impression based on a quote request to install a downpipe on my 16 Audi S3. Id heard great things about this place but went elsewhere after my initial stop in.Wrote a review and a few weeks later I received a call from someone at Victory Lane. First, not sure if I should be impressed or a little concerned that they tracked down my out of state cell phone number based solely on my name on a google review but whatever.The call was genuine concern and made me want to revise my initial review. For a local business to put time and effort into tracking down a negative review to offer some insight and try to make it right shows a lot of character and really impressed me.In answer to your response on here, I do have the right shop because youre right down the road from my house and I stopped by based on local positive feedback. As to why, because I am choosing to mod my car to make it quicker. It wouldve been an APR or USP product, simple remove and reinstall with not welding, drilling or modification to the stock brackets at all.

This place is the ONLY shop to take your car to. They looked at and diagnosed our car for free, Matt is so wonderful. Even when we spilled fluid onto our belt they cleaned it for us for no charge. I’m almost hoping our car breaks down, just so I have a reason to go see them again

This is hands down the most reliable and honest automotive service center in San Antonio and surrounding areas. I have no idea why the other guy left a bad review. He obviously doesnt understand how to run a business. When I went to VL, they explained in detail everything that was NEEDED right now and recommended some repairs that might save me some heartache in the future. They did not push to do the repairs that could wait. They just wanted me to be aware of forthcoming issues. The service manager will go over in great detail what parts cost, what the mark up is, and what labor is. They hide nothing. Is there a markup on parts? Of course. Thats part of the business and part of how they make a living. It also allows them to warranty the part and make repairs at no cost while under warranty. This was explained to me, I understood it, and authorized repairs. I was pleased with the professionalism, honesty, integrity, and performance of Victory Lane. 5 stars!!!!

I Drive 100 miles from Fredericksburg Texas to have these guys work on my car. They have the best customer service and the best Mechanics I have ever dealt with. They keep you informed every step of the way and the work is always done right the first time. You just dont find people you can totally trust anymore but use Victory Lane. Automotive is the Exception to that. Trustworthy, Reliable and Nice, you guys are the best!!!
