The people there went far and beyond to fulfill my request. Words cant do justice on what they created for me. The decorations that I requested for a birthday cake came out way better than expected! Beautiful and delicious!

I absolutely can not find the words to explain how much I love this place. The service is great. The pastries are amazing. The cakes are delicious. The food is overall amazing and the most important factor is that it is CONSISTENTLY excellent! Theres never a bad day. Truly a gem.

My gf and I, we order food from this place on Uber eats. We wanted to try a new place to eat. My whole breakfast ended up on her crying and freaking out. I don’t know how they managed to cook a bee with the eggs. I just wonder how clean the place is. I will never order again from here.

They make amazing coffee, croissants and bread but everything I have tried, cakes, muffins, pastries all have been laden with oil/fats that give them a brick-like consistency to them and the digestive system. The fruit has no taste and there is a slight rancid after-taste. I believe in supporting our small businesses but the 3rd time was enough. Ill stick to the coffee and find my muffins elsewhere..:(

The service is great and the food is delicious. The empanadas have a great variety, the corn is a must try. One of the things that definitely stands out is their way of branding everything and presenting. They definitely considered their packaging and organization to the last detail. Has a boutique-ish feel. The only thing that sucks is the parking because of the area but thats not their fault.

I ordered and paid 4 days in advance for Some Christmas food to be picked up at 2pm on the 24th. When me and my husband got there gave them our receipts of payment, we come to find out they sold our order to someone else. We requested our money and said no returns and made us wait 4 hours to cook our orders. Our cake that we order was very dry and old.NEVER AGAIN, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

The time you have to wait for your food to be ready is insane. I bought some empanadas and they “reheated” them in a oven and they still were cold. I wasn’t able to eat it cause of how cold they were, ended up throwing it out. Please do not waste your time here.

I gave a second chance and they failed .1st I ordered a cake two weeks ago for my sons birthday. The cake decoration was all wrong and the cake was so sweet.Now I went ordered a chocolate cake and they gave me the wrong cake . Gave me the house cake.They have NO limit to the amount of people that can be inside they pretend to have rules at the door and they aren’t following safety calls . Who knows what it must be like during the breakfast rush .I’ve been a long time chicas fan and during these trying times I tried to support them . But they’ve failed.Also do something about the flies .

The ladies at the counter are super friendly but sometimes they dont speak English and it becomes a challenge to order.We tried their empanads and tres Leche, and both were excellent.We will definitely return to try out more of their stuff!

Cozy interior, cold service. At first glance this place seemed fantastic, but from the moment I started to place my order I felt like I was not welcome. The barista was curt and cold to me while being warm to other customers. When she came to bring us our coffee and food, she put it on the table rather gruffly. She forgot to give us one of our food items which, in her defense, she didn’t charge us for. But she must have opened the oven and seen it, and thought “oh well.” I thought it best to leave hungry rather than re-order it through her.

Place has great pastries. Been here before for the cake de chaja and alfajores. Today I give two stars because lady at register charge me $10 more from what the receipt said. Place was busy so I gave the money and left. When I was eating my desert. I decided to add what I ordered it came out to $18 but lady at register ask me for $28. When I went back to confront her. She said it was 18 and thats what I gave her. but I remember giving her $28. Anyways Im not the only one apparently that has been overcharged. So if you go there make sure you know how much you have to pay. I hope the owner reads this and the other complaints. That the register girl steal money from customers. I normally dont like to give bad review. But I want people to be aware.

If you’re searching for awesome pastelitos Cubanos. This is the place. Their pastelitos de guayaba y queso, guayaba, and carne were delicious. Closest I’ve had to my dear Miami pastelitos since I moved up to NJ.

I was lucky enough to try their empanadas by chance through friends so I went to the bakery the next day to get their house cake. Really delicious. Its a little pricier than a couple of other well known bakeries but this was so much better! Will be back!

Tuesday 11/22/16 6:20pmI waited in line for 20 minutes and was ignored by the women in there. When I finally got their attention, they gave me an attitude. I asked about a cake and was told that it had fruit filling but it was really a tiramisu. I asked the price for it and was told to sit down. I waited for 10 more minutes. I saw the women conversing and laughing in one corner and forgot I was there. Never returning!!

They have very nasty women working the counter. The tall woman...I think her name is Verne is the worst one. She practically threw my order at me and makes very obvious faces when she waits on me. She never says thank you to me. I spend quite a bit of money in this place since I work in the area, but I will not be returning. The owner needs to hire women who treat their customers well. Without customers, these ladies wouldnt have jobs!!

Bought a croissant breakfast sandwich that was supposed to be hot. It was falling apart and cold when received. The iceberg lettuce looked like it was a bit old (outer edges of the lettuce were soggy and not fresh).

It was a beautiful place & a busy one too. Yet, the women behind the counter work so hard & so fast, I didnt even wait. Me & my better half, sat at a clean table, looking at the most amazing desserts, cookies, cakes, tarts, traditional treats & not so traditional treats for a Latin bakery! I think I actually had the very best Cannoli there I have ever had & I lived in very Italian areas of NYC so I know my cannolis lol! Theres also some food as opposed to sweets, which looked amazing but I didnt have any but only because we had just come from eating dinner. I just happened to see a few custom cakes being made & they looked incredible. Did I mention their coffee was yummy too? I saw a few girls seated near us with their laptops so basically, everything you want is right there at Las Chicas Bakery & Im going back & if you dont your crazy & if you do, YOULL NEVER REGRET IT. Kudos to the counter staff, the bakers & whomever keeps this busy, not so little place so clean & very comfy.

This Uruguayan cafe is incredible and with a great atmosphere as well. They even expanded to two areas that I know of.I would describe the pastries but I am on a diet so I walk in there and lament at all the pastries. I did have a few biscochos a few months back during my cheat days. They were always fresh. My main thing I order is their cortados and coffees.This location on 47th is a little difficult to notice while driving only because its a smaller restaurant. Their location on 75th is very noticeable though. Its not their fault really. Its the fact that the area is so incredibly overcrowded.
