Union City best buy used to be my favorite location. Every time I do a pickup at this location their employees at the pickup counter tend to kind of dodge you and not look at you even though theyre standing at the counter. I do understand that at times its going to get busy, but when you have three or four different people at the counter just looking at their device and then walking away it kind of gives you the feeling they dont care that youre there. Not even acknowledging you with something simple like, Hey, we will be right with you etc.I ended up talking to the guy at the regular checkout counter and he helped me out no problem, and he apologized for their behavior. So big kudos to that guy he was very helpful, very nice, and most importantly accommodating.My biggest issue with this location is a lot of the employees are nowhere to be seen when you have an actual question, and when you try to get somebody to help you, they call someone else to come help you.I wish theyd front and face their merchandise a lot more. Theyre shelves always look messy.This best buy is okay. I go here if I need something absolutely right away. Otherwise I go to their Dublin, or Sunnyvale location.

I went in to get a new case and charger for my iPhone. I walked up to the apple station and the worker did not great me nor acknowledged my presence. Instead she continued to talk to another employee and one more joined them. 3 employees just chatting it up I felt as if I was interrupting them by asking for help. Ive definitely had better service at other best buys.

For the two gentlemen in installation yesterday on Monday the 18 of October, thank you. These two gentlemen went out of their way to better prepare me for what was needed for my vehicle. They took off over selled non- needed items that werent and left me feeling fulfilled as a purchasing customer. I was supposed to get a delivery today between 8:30-12:30pm. Best Buy sent me an email and called to confirm so I scheduled a plumber for installation for Wednesday. Waited until 3pm but nothing came or no one called to reschedule. Finally I called and the agent said you are not scheduled and said that’s weird. I am going out of pocket since the plumber was coming from a insurance company and charge appointment fee if not canceled within 24hrs. Best Buy doesn’t care they said we can’t do anything this is what it is. Never going to go back. Costco/Lowe’s are much better so far for me and they all price match.

I would like to start off by saying this is a positive review. On Oct 19th Best Buy started their Pre-Sale for the new Google Pixel 6 Pro with the promotion of getting Google Earbuds Series A for free. So I ordered the phone and on Oct 19th I picked it up from my local Best Buy on Oct 28th. I was so excited that forgot to pick up my free earbuds. I figured Id call the next day and everything would be fine... NOPE!Let the frustration begin! I was on the phone with Best Buy National Call Center for 3 hours using cell two phones! Attempting to explain to the reps that I didnt receive my promotional gift. Each rep provided different reasons, stories, and every excuse in the book as to why Im no longer eligible for it. Finally, I speak to someone that understands and even finds which store has the earbud in stock.I head over to Union City Best and I Ehab a customer service rep assist me with my issue. Ehab was extremely polite and was very remorseful about my situation. Ehab heads over to the Cell Phone dept and comes back with bad news. He is unable to assist me... I started to get even more frustrated and now I just wanted to return my phone. He said that there would be a 45 fee!At this point, my upset and now want to speak to his supervisor. In comes Dolton the manager. Mind you I am furious and I becoming very forward, stern and Im starting to have a serious attitude problem. I explain to Dolton that I was on the phone for over 3 hours with the Call Center and my attitude and frustration is not towards Ehab or him but the situation. Dolton handle my situation in a very respectful manner and was able to come up with a solution for me.Ehab and Dolton thank you so much for your assistant with this. You both deserve raises after dealing with me. I appreciate your service!!!

Absolutely the BEST experience from the greeter at the door, to my salesman, to other employees offering a chair to sit down, to the manager and geek squad support staff, EVERYONE WAS POSITIVE, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND. SPECIAL mention to Evan, my sales guy, he helped me with a new computer, printer, DVD player, and a new TV, not to mention various accessories!! The manager (sorry, forgot his name) gave me a huge discount and great service also. They both WENT ABOVE and BEYOND! Evan especially made my whole experience at Best Buy so pleasant. But not just those waiting on me but those that saw me waiting and offered a chair to sit and wait, a smile, a greeting, making sure I was being helped.... Evan even worked past his shift to make sure I had everything I needed. WOW! cant say I see that kind of service, dedication to job, and concern for the customers needs. THANK YOU, BEST BUY!

I got my screen protector installed by Manuel Villalobos. He was very pleasant to work with and made sure my screen protector was added on correctly. He also gave me information that I should keep in mind for next time when I purchase another screen protector. I wish if there’s no star.Of all the Best Buy facilities this location has the worst customer service. I will not buy anything from this location.The sales people behave like they do not want to help u. But of course there r some good ones too but not many. I never have good experience at this location.I drop of my tablet to fix and first they told me it will be fix in 2 weeks which shows on the receipt in comment box. It’s been more then month know and it’s not fixed yet. Very bad customer service!!

Although Frys is a thing of the past, it is great to see that Best Buy has really stepped up their game. We were able to find just about everything needed to build our own computer, including RGB fans and lighting kits. Unfortunately, if youre going to find an employee to help you... you might be waiting for a while unless you go hunt one down and practically drag them over to help you. Once you find someone, they all seem eager to help and willing to search for what you need.

This location had best management and stuff, unfortunately the new staff and manager is extremely rude and useless, we bought a Geek squad warranty for so many of our devices and when we had to report issue they give you excuses and not fix it. Please save your money and buy appliances and gadgets elsewhere like Costco or Walmart which will give you better customer service. Dont recommend it to anyone.

Very helpful when you can actually find someone working. They do offer a public restroom that is clean. I found what I needed that also happened to be on sale. Highly recommend their best buy credit card because you can earn cash rewards you can spend both online and in store.

The Best buy offers very good deals in the Thanks Giving Weekend. Here you will get all kind of deals related to the Home Computes and Laptops. They also provide the Home Theater Installation. Apart from that they have Pacific Sales. Over there you get the Home Appliances for less price when compare to Other Local Retailers. I really like the Car home Theater systems and Home Audio Systems.The Overall Experience with the Store visit is Very good. The Service is very reasonable and Prices are reasonable and Comparable.

Ordering a replacement remote control was like debating with a politician. They sell the TVs but have no stock on missing parts!! Another employee said ...oh this one might work!! Might is not a answer to me . I had to debate with him and told him if I had to come back because of his mistake I would be going to corporate and have him mopping floors instead of attempting to relate to customers. ( YOUNG HISPANIC. OUT OF THE LAME DEPT. WHEN YOU GO INTO THE STORE ON YOUR RIGHT!! when I picked up the order a young Asian chap had a negative attitude. And because of this Im returning the product and going to Walmart. At least I know the quality of respect and knowledge there. Shame on BEST BUY. !!!

Although the name itself often suggests an elusive reality that in all actuality presents an inaccuracy when considering the business model of this brand... This particular location DID provide me a few products that were definitely, in my opinion, BEST buys. Expecting that a certain product was going to be much more expensive than it was, I was actually quite quite surprised and genuinely impressed by the price that the kind associate had presented to me.Basically, I just said I got a good deal on a good product and that I have nothing negative to say about this Best Buy! 😎

The shelves are somewhat stocked, friendly staff, good deals. However, they can be disorganized and under staffed. The little staff they have are helpful and friendly if you can find one.I bought an open box good-as-new high end double wall oven here with discount. However, it got delivered with no proper wrapping or protection. In other best buys (like union city and dublin), they would bubble wrap it, use plastic wrap abd even put cardboards to protect the corners.Sad.

Tom is the best to help get appliances!Pro Tip: 3 LG appliances would give 5% and 4 would give 10% at certain time. So do ask what all combo offers are running at the moment. Also you can stack up 10% BestBuy Credit via BB Visa Card for if you don’t have a card already. And 5% BB credit if you have one!

There always friendly at this location. The staff are also knowledgeable about the products and merchandise they have in stock as well as upgraded version or brand new items. Customer service is A1. Their cashiers keep check-out line moving fast so usually no waiting or very brief waiting which is great if your in a rush.. the store is always extremely clean

I upgraded my cell phone at this Best Buy store with trade-in, but this Best Buy store did not record the trade-in onto my Verizon account properly. So, I have not received any trade-in credit. The transaction happened in early January and now it is mid February.To be more specific, a Verizon representative confirmed my trade-in has not been recorded by Best Buy. I dont know why this happened or who between Best Buy and Verizon made a mistake. But I was able to at least talk with Verizon representatives who confirmed Verizons story. Unfortunately, Best Buy reps were not able to handle the case fairly and all they did was advising me to visit this store again. Then, I have called the store and waited for long time, but they has not answered. So, I emailed the store and later a person from the store called me and told me I had the option to mail in the trade-in phone and Best Buy is not going to do anything to make it right.Actually, I visited the Union City store 3 times when I upgraded my phone in January: First time, they didnt allow me to pick up my new phone because I didnt bring my trade-in (I wanted to mail my trade-in phone as I did with Verizon before, but reps at the Best Buy Union City store didnt allow me to do so. Instead, I was required to bring my old phone in to the store). Second time, one of the Best Buy Union City store reps told me to come back tomorrow, but they did not work next day (only curbside pick-up was available, but I had to meet their reps for trade-in: It turned out that the eps at the Best Buy Union City store gave me an inconsiderate advice for me to “come back tomorrow with your old phone”). Third time, I finally traded in my old phone and picked up my new phone. But now what I found is this Best Buy store has not recorded the trade-in transaction properly with Verizon and so I cant get trade-in credit. Moreover, reps working at the Best Buy Union City store just don’t want to resolve the issue in a sensible manner.As mentioned, I dont exactly know who between Verizon and Best Buy caused this trouble. However, I suspect it is this Best Buy store that caused this trouble, given the poor quality of customer services, the low quality interactions with customers, and insensible responses from the Best Buy Union City store.I will probably not buy/upgrade my cell phones at Best Buy any more.

Glad the store is back to in person shopping because sometimes the tech type items Im looking for i want to see in person first before buying online. Staff were somewhat knowledgeable about items like phones and tech but some of the questions we had they needed to check the phone details out on the computer. We already read specs and watched YouTube videos so we knew what we were told, we wanted further clarification on the difference of two phones to make a decision. When it came to the TVs we asked an associate about an open box price but he told us they didnt have any open without even checking he simply combed the shelf we were standing at (which we obviously already checked before asking for help) anyway we continued perusing. We found a TV we liked and the whole store had a black out... like everything turned off and the emergency lights came on... major black out. OK so no one panicked and the generator or maybe original power kicked right back on and we headed to the register. While waiting for the systems to come back on we walked around the TV section looking out of boredom and what do we find you ask... an entire section of open box items where the exact TV we were originally asking about was right there in an open box with the rest of the open box items. Thanks to the blackout we got the TV we wanted. If only the gentleman took a small amount of effort to look we probably could have been gone from the store before the whole black out and not waited at least 15 minutes for registers to come back up in addition to the time we spent looking at more TVs thinking there was no open box available even though it was stated on the digital price tag.

Went there for a TV repair appointment. Was told when I got there that they could only repair televisions that had been purchased there. Sadly, even the person behind the counter didnt know and had to go ask his supervisor. This policy was not posted on their website, costing me over an hour in traffic. Very misleading. Probably wont do business with them going forward.

I love that they have possibly everything electronic-related stuffs here. Things cost a little more than what you can get online or from other stores, but I would rather take that rather than dealing with defective products, malfunctions, etc, then deal with the hassle of shipping them back for returns and all. They have good policy and relatively good quality products, and it’s easy to go to a local store and someone will be there to assist you immediately.They got helpful people here, and very informative about the products they sell. :)I got my Fujifilm instax mini 8 and accessories from here in 2013, and it’s still functioning really well. :)Just got the GoPro Hero 7 and accessories a few days ago, and they are working great!

Horrible, terrible, awful store manager customer serviceI went to return something that was few days over their deadline, due to having a foot surgery and not being to come out of the house with a Drs note, Like a digital parrot Mr. I am the store manager Scott Bryan, kept repeating I am the thats our policy. After 15 year of being with Best Buy, I am sorry to say I wont any longer. No wonder these guys are dinosaurs, going down left and right. Too rigid an d no flexibility. Curbside pickup takes a while. I ordered ahead of time several hours and the item still wasnt ready but I needed to pick it up early (several hours after online order). When I went inside folks were helpful but they almost told me to come back later, I couldve just walked in and bought the item quicker. Luckily the staff was understanding and nice they completed my order right then and there. But there were at least 5-7 employees walking around aimlessly and socializing... Its no wonder my order was gonna take all day.

Michael the store manager refused to honor price listed on their own in store price tag for a product and all he had to say was he has no idea how that price tag got up there. I didn’t ask for discount. I picked up a product based on the price they advertised. It doesn’t hurt to apologize when you are wrong instead of making a REPEAT customer feel like he is trying to get discount. It’s super hard to gain repeat customers Michael. Especially with Amazon around. PS: I am a best buy elite PLUS member and purchased $7000 worth of merchandise from Best Buy last year.

I was looking for screen protector (new phone) and missed it. A young man in the department took me over and handed me what I needed. I asked him to point me in direction of SD cards for camera but he actually walked me to the rack and showed me (he went out of his way to be helpful). Great service from this young man!

We went in to see if I could listen to the Senheiser Ambeo sound bar. I got there and hardly any demos worked, there were not enough employee to ask if they had it in store. I dont know if its covid related or not but this was the worst condition I ever saw this Best Buy in. Nothing really worked, nothing maintained. You click a demo button it didnt work. I couldnt find what I was looking for, couldnt listen to other top sound bars. All the employees were helping someone else...so we just left the store disappointed. Not sure whether to fault Best Buy, I get that they are short on employees but I dont think its worth going physically in store. Its better to just buy something and return it if it doesnt work out.

Don’t ever apply for a Best Buy credit card because one day after you pay your bill in full then they can cancel it the next day based of terms and condition of your credit score. So if you credit score happens to drop like mine in this pandemic be ready to get your Best Buy credit card canceled outta know where.
