Hugo is amazing! Everything that lions road offers turned out perfect for our wedding. We even nailed our dance moves from Hugo’s lessons! I would highly recommend for an easy, stress free experience for your event.

Michael was our DJ and he did such an amazing job! From our first meeting, he immediately understood everything that we were hoping for during our ceremony and reception. He played all of the songs on our playlist but included so many other songs that fit our style and vision perfectly. He was instrumental in guiding our ceremony, from the time guests arrived all the way to the send-off at the end of the reception. He even jumped out on the dance floor to show us how to do some of the line dances! Im so thankful we found this company!

They did an amazing job of making my daughters wedding perfect. The DJ is great at getting the crowd involved and keeping them entertained. He is wonderful at making the necessary announcements like father daughter dance, toasts, throwing the bouquet/garter etc. Absolutely pleasant prescience and very responsive to your needs. LionsRoad was absolutely wonderful at our wedding! The lighting was great! The music was absolutely perfect and the DJ was so wonderful!! We added on the cold sparklers for our grand entrance and grand exit and they were absolutely amazing! Our reception was so fun because of our DJ! The dance floor was packed the second we started the party portion of our reception and stayed that way for the rest of the night! They were wonderful about staying in touch with us throughout the planning process and making sure we were getting exactly what we wanted! We would absolutely recommend them to others!

Oogo Gutierrez did an AMAZING job DJing our wedding! He was easy to work with, personable, knows his stuff, helpful, and had a beautiful electronic display. We received so many compliments from our wedding guests. They loved his music selection as well as how he kept the party going and got everyone engaged on the dance floor! My wife and I hired Lions Road for our wedding in June of 2020 after strong encouragement from our venue manager. We were excited and optimistic because we were able to get on their calendar despite the short notice. We had our prep meeting with our DJ and told him all about what we were wanting and more specifically what we werent wanting. Our DJ assured us that he had this thing in the bag. He mentioned that this was his 75th or so wedding and that we had nothing to worry about. He brought his notebook and wrote down all our PLAYS and DONT PLAYS.While incredibly nice, our DJ let us down big time because when the music turned on, he played what we didnt want him to play (country) and didnt play what my wife really wanted him to play (Justin Bieber) (Hold the judgement, please.) Like, literally the exact opposite of what we asked for. And to make matters worse, his equipment malfunctioned during a planned Photo to Dance Party transition he suggested we do.We called LionsRoad to let them know how disappointed we were with our experience shortly after our wedding. The lady who took our call was very nice and apologetic, but to be honest, you only get one shot at getting married and we were majorly let down. Its still a sore subject but got brought back up after we attended a wedding this past weekend with a DJ who rocked it.Im a big believer in honest feedback for future customer decision making, so I hope this honest review is helpful to those making decisions going forward.

Our wedding planner recommended LionsRoad to us and we couldnt be happier. The team is absolutely great to work with! Chris was an awesome DJ and super nice guy. Being from the Middle East I asked to have some Arabic songs played and he delivered! We also had a few dance lessons with Hugo that were a lot of fun. Next to choosing our wedding date and venue, the most important (and best) decision made for our wedding was our DJ and entertainment services. My wife and I were married in March of 2016. After multiple referrals, we contacted Lions Road to inquire about providing the lighting and entertainment for our wedding reception. Our initial meeting went great and we signed a contract. After several conversations with the owner, Hugo, we also decided to use Lions Road for wedding day video. We didnt think we could fit video into our budget but Hugo gave us an incredible price so we signed up for that too. From the first time we met Hugo to the moment we shook hands and parted ways after the reception, the level of service my wife and I received from Lions Road can only be described as amazing. Hugo and his team exceeded our expectations in every way. His music selection was perfect. The volume level was always appropriate. His dj station and lighting were incredible. Hugo even threw in a complementary group dance lesson. Our guests loved it! In the weeks since our wedding, so many of them have commented on how much they enjoyed the entertainment provided by Lions Road. Moreover, many of our other vendors asked for Hugos contact information. Even his industry peers were impressed! As for the video, we have not seen the final product yet, but I can comment on the work that the Lions Road videographers put into capturing our event. They showed up an hour before our wedding and video taped from then until the end of the reception. We didnt expect them to tape for so long. A lot of great things happened in the last hour of the reception and now well have a record of them forever. I just cant say enough good things about the service we received from Lions Road. I would recommend them to anyone needing entertainment, lighting or video for their event. Lions Road offers five star service at an incredibly affordable price. Their staff is friendly, helpful and professional. I wish that more companies conducted their business like Hugo and his employees.

Let it be known that DJ Hugo with Lionsroad Studios is the BEST DJ ever. Not only this, they are solid believers in Christ and truly looking to serve people. DJ Hugo got out and taught everyone how to do fun dances (salsa/fun group dances), the light show was ridiculously cool (uplighting... the whole room went to the music), his set up was like nothing Id ever seen (like a hologram touchscreen), and he was very clear and smooth with instructions. He absolutely made the evening... I wish I could throw a party just to experience that again... (In fact, you should book him and let me know where youll be... Im there. haha)

Due to lack of communication and what we felt was false advertising, we elected to proceed with another DJ company and hire a videographer instead for our wedding. We felt kind of bait and switched because it did not say anything about the video premium add on NOT being an option with the Emerald package. We certainly understand that this is a more involved service, but we felt since LionsRoad even boasts no hidden fees and straight forward pricing on the website that that could have been a lot more clear on the website. I cannot find anywhere on the website where it says certain premium add ons only allowed with certain packages. Prior to proceeding with another company, we had not received a response back to our question about this from the vendor for six days. So that sealed our decision to move forward with another company. 3 stars because I still believe their quality is decent, communication/not clear pricing is what pushed us away. Future clients, make sure you ask what premium add ons can be added with what packages! Dont rely on the implied idea that you can choose what add ons from the list you would like.
