Great place... First time there and will be my go to spot if Im in Tulsa, i will be visiting again. Got to meet some great people.. The owner Eric but wouldnt know he was the owner because he sits and just talk to you like a regular person. Amanda the bartender a gem. Great person to talk to. Got to meet Trent also a guy that works with the company. Overall if you are looking for a good chill vibe with good food, drinks and games i highly recommend going here....
My favourite date night/friend night/show people around Tulsa location! Over 700+ games to choose from with a variety of levels, all different cool games - and they have cool art available for sale most of the time. There’s also a bar, and their food is SO yummy! (Not the beer milkshake, but everything else lol) ❤️🤌🏽
Fun atmosphere and a wide variety of games to choose from (but it required a payment of $6 per person) but service was pretty slow. My group opted out of playing the games available at Shuffles and decided to just use an app on our phones. At the end when we went to pay, we were charged an additional $6 each on our bill because playing on our phones apparently counts as game play. Had we known ahead of time that we would have to pay $6 to play the free apps on our own phones, we would not have chosen this cafe.
Had a good time. We ate the chicken and waffles, the chicken was crispy and delicious. The waffle was a savory herb based waffle and it was okay. The staff were all friendly. We stayed for around 3 hours and played about 5 games. Its a great date option. I love the idea of getting to play games and try out different genre of games.
A wonderful way to spend a weekday evening. They have countless board games for all likes and interests. The coffee is not too bad, and the food is okay.
If youve been to a board game bar before, you may not be terribly impressed. Service was slow and the staff almost didnt really seem to know what was going on. Many of the games advertised simply werent there. Still a good place to try out new games, though.
Amazing! (For all ages) You can play all kinds of board games they have the originals plus more. And the food was just as great. Me and my friends ordered a half n half pizza (believe it was a build your own). And both sides where phenomenal. Only wish I found this place long before now.
It is a nice, unique venue. It would be a great date night or girls night out. The food is tasty, too
This place never fails to please! It’s probably the only go-to place to lounge around with people in doors in public that is entertaining besides the mall. The food is definitely a plus, though.
Had dinner then came here for family date night. It was awesome. The kids loved it. The shakes are so good! If your not sure how to play a game they will show ya. We will be back for sure!
Amazing place. The food was great and the staff were even better. The staff was very accommodating and very friendly. They made our group feel very at home and took very good care of us. I look forward to the next time I am able to come and visit with a group of friends. Thank you to the staff for being amazing, and the owner to taking care of us as well.-that one guy who definitely looks like he plays D&D.
Super fun and super cool! Highly recommend the patio seating in good weather!
Wow so I am blown away by this place. I didnt even know such a thing existed. Can I quit my job and come work for you? Everything was so gamer oriented -- even the menu and water dispenser. I will be telling all of my friends about it and returning. Great hours of operation, clean bathrooms. Food was unique and very delicious.
If you have yet to come here, make plans with friends or a date ASAP!Its an awesome boardgame cafe where you can learn new/try different boardgames, or play the games you remember playing in a time gone by.I will say the food is a little on the pricier side, but its worth it supporting local businesss that are providing new ways to have fun.I wish they had more space because when its full, its bustling with laughter and intrigue at every table. They have hundreds of boardgames for 2 players up to large group games (though Id recommend not going with a group of more than 6 people, limited on game options if youre all wanting to play together).I hope this place flourishes and others can appreciate it as I do.
In LOVE with this place!!! I am yet to find a food item or a cocktail drink I dont like. My favorites are the Airmail cocktail, catfish sandwich, roasted brussel sprouts and the fried pickles. The staff is always friendly and quick to assist. This concept is a great way to meet new friends and join old friends for a day of board games.
I absolutely loved the time that I spent at shuffles! The server was GREAT and I enjoyed my experience!!
Really enjoyed our night here. Fun atmosphere, will definitely be back.
Great concept!! Family friendly, plenty of games to choose from. Tonight they were short staffed & pretty busy. We hardly saw our waiter. I would definitely give them another try though. I am from out of town so itll be awhile before the second chance comes.
We came to Shuffles for my best friends bachelorette party, and we had a wonderful time playing new games and old favorites, and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful!
I love this place!!! The food is inconsistent at times. The menu has lots of delicious options to choose from. I love the flavor concept of the lattes however, they are a bit too sweet. This is a favorite place of mine. I didn’t give it 5 stars because of the food inconsistency. If you haven’t gathered your friends to play some top notch board games, what are you waiting for??
We visited for trivia night and really enjoyed it! The chicken fingers and chicken quesadilla were both good. We hope to be back to try the board games.
What a delightful addition to Tulsa and the Arts district. I continue to be impressed by the development of arts, food, and entertainment in Tulsa and Shuffles is no exception. Visited recently with my 12-year old son while walking around the Arts district visiting other distinctive places such as Magic City Books, Gypsy Coffee, and the art museums around Guthrie Green. We were warmly and enthusiastically greeted by the hostess, informed about the game play ($6 for all day play), and promptly ushered to a table despite the large crowd in attendance. There is a large selection of board games, overwhelming really. And many of them are strategy games that may take some time to set up and play so come prepared to stay a while. They also had plenty of classics such as monopoly, Risk, and Stratego. They even had an up to date Monopoly-Tulsa version. Want to just hang out, play games and snack? They have a small market with chips, candy, and drinks that you can grab and go. My son had the chicken tenders. He enjoyed them but found the kids’ portion of two tenders too small for his appetite. I had the avocado and cheese melt panini. The highlight of our meal though was the vanilla shake with whip cream and sprinkles. When I moved to Tulsa 12 years ago I often heard the complaint, “there is nothing much to do around here.” That is no longer the case. There is an almost never ending of food, drink, art, and entertainment options. Keep ‘em coming, Tulsa.
Good food. Good service. Good drinks.
If you want a place to just drink and play games, it may be good, but find a different restaurant if you have a large group. It costs $6 per person per hour to play a game and the food was not that good. The biggest issue, however, was that we had to wait over 2 hours to just get our drinks. They also waited to tell us, after we had been waiting for over an hour for our food and after all the nearby restaurants had closed, that it would be another 45 minutes before the food was ready because they were down a chef. We just had an awful experience.
Great game library w/ tons of games I want to come back and try out. I hear there are even more at the owners house that he needs to open before putting them in stock. My 7 and 9 year old ordered pizza and drinks and played Scooby Doo Betrayal at Mystery Mansion, Project L, For Sale, and Sushi Go Party. The staff taught us two of the games and kept the refills coming on the drinks. My girls had tons of fun and are excited to go back. Great time!
Great place. Something different than your typical dinner and a movie or night at the bar. Huge selection of games, suitable menu with good, not great taste. The drinks are fantastic, so much so, that we spent quite a bit on those alone. The beauty of Uber....I would recommend this place to couples old and young.
So much fun!! The staff helped us find two player games that we would like and took the time to teach us how to play. The drinks were good and the atmosphere was fantastic!!
Greatst place I have been to in a while. Dedicated and informed staff with great drink selections, but come for the amazing fun and games. Feels like home drinking and defeating my friends at monopoly
I absolutely love this place! So many board games to choose from and the staff is so knowledgeable and happy to help. Totally recommend for a friends night out
Awesome atmosphere...family friendly as well as a great date night place....Awesome Service....a plethora of games and yummy food. We will definitely be coming back 😁
What an awesome and fun business idea! Had a great time with my daughter hanging out for several hours drinking hot chocolate and playing a complicated, but beautiful board game. If you are looking for some outside-the-box entertainment, hit Shuffles, order some coffee and a pastry and play some games. They only have 800 of them to choose from!
A little pricey but fun and something different to do.
One of my favorite places to hang out in Tulsa. So many amazing board games to choose from and a very helpful staff to teach you how to play. We played several games on a Sunday afternoon and ordered some drinks. The drinks were tasty and the games were a blast. The food choices looked good and I can’t wait to go back!
Huge amount of fun and a lot of board games to play. My boyfriend took me and we had a blast.
TLDR: Unique/contemporary place that you should definitely visit if you enjoy board games! Staff are attentive and it is relaxed environment.Huge selection of board games to choose from. They have a limited selection of draft beers that is supplimented by bottled/canned. Mixed drinks as well as virgin and spiked milkshakes which are A+. They also serve brunch (limited hours) and snacks. I can recommend the gourmet chips appetizer.Atmosphere is contemporary with flexible accomodations for mixed groups though I didnt see spaces larger than a party of 8. All age groups floated in and out throughout the day and appears kid friendly. Some couples like to visit and drink/eat while they play a game. They do have a generous cover until 6PM when it changes to hourly so make sure to ask about that if money is of concern!
Sometimes the tall one is a bit much.
Ive had some of my favorite Tulsa memories here at shuffles. The food is killer and the drinks top it off. If you like game nights with friends, this is the place for you!
Definitely wasn’t a good vibe. The servers all seemed liked they were super high and it was all around terrible. We only bought an appetizer before we left. Went to mcnellies much better!
The atmosphere & games are good. Our waiter was awsome. The food selection was disappointing(only pizza).
Really cool place! My wife and I had coffee and played some games that our waiter suggested. We both want to go back there.
Shuffles is one of the very best things about Tulsa: a unique concept executed perfectly. The staff are lovely, the game library couldn’t be better curated, the food & cocktails are far tastier than they need to be (the chicken & waffles is one of the best meals in town, and the Picard off the 10Forward menu is a personal fav), and the prices are fair considering how long people generally hang out. I’ve had friends visit Tulsa specifically for Shuffles, and they’ve always left with merch & big smiles. It’s a special place!
Great food and service in a fun, trendy downtown pocket of shops. As a game cafe, they have a great library of well managed games, and while it’s not cheap, on many days of the week they have play all day specials for one price. What I didn’t expect was the great food and beer/wine & cocktail selection. We had a great time and would come back, with kids or friends.
We went for trivia night on Tuesday night. The atmosphere and staff are friendly and approachable. There is a lot of options at the cafe; it is a full service bar and restaurant so there are lots of options. You can also sit at the bar and play free games or buy a game pass for unlimited options in the game library which is very well stocked and organized by type of game play. You can casually play games while talking and eating or go full in with a strategy game- I like that you can choose your level of involvement. Good for group dates or double dates. Overall a very fun experience. Will come back.
Pretty cool spot that isnt the same ole restaurant. Food was pretty good, but not great.
A great place for a date night or even a friends night out! They have good food and drinks and great service
Awesome fun, great food, and cool atmosphere! Must see in Tulsa!
The food was excellent. The service was poor. Our server was very inattentive considering how few people were there. Our entire table had drained their drinks and we sat there for close to 15 minutes before we were able to get refills. We had been there for going on an hour before we got our food. He was very fast to ring us up and get rid of us once we requested the check.
This is a great idea. The place is cute and the people there were having fun. I was there on a Saturday. But I think they are mixed up as to how to make money. For almost $50 I got to lunch meals and a game. I will never go back at those prices. $1 3 per meal and $6 per person to play a game. Now it is all day playing and as many games as you like but I should have not been charged for the game. I bought food, spent an appropriate amount of money for the time I was there so why did I have to pay almost $50 for a 45 minute lunch and game. Now about the food. Not bad but nothing special either. My shredded pork was half fat and no specific seasoning to make it unique. Not a bad idea, it could be a great place, it just needs some tweaks before they will see repeat customers. I was just looking for something different to do with my 15 year old Son.
Personally I have not paid to play at this place Ive only just stepped in the door to wait for my father in law to pay for gift cards, but just stepping in the door Blew me away there was a game collection wall full of all different kinds of games to play with family and friends and you can eat meals while you play! So cool. This is definitely a place to get away and chill and have fun! I wanna go back when I have time to experience it. Cool place 👍👍
Shuffles has a HUGE library of games to choose from. If you dont know what to play, or how to play, the staff is eager to give advice and help. Well definitely be back!
Great space, fun games, tasty drinks!
Fantastic food, excellent service, relaxed atmosphere. Great place to go with a group of friends or family. Fun for all ages. Easy to spend a few hours here playing games and hanging out.If board games aren’t your thing the food is still worth the visit. 5/7 would recommend.
Shuffles is a great place to go hang out, get something to eat or drink, and play a game! My husband and I have gone a few times and are always happy with the experience. The food and drinks are good and their game selection is fabulous. Employees are knowledgeable and always able to recommend a new game - whether you be an experienced gamer or brand new to board games. They truly seem to like what they do!
Great atmosphere and really friendly staff. Good is excellent as is the board game selection. You cant beat the adult milkshakes either
One of my favorite burgers in Tulsa! I also loved their sweet potato fries that came with it. The service was great, the atmosphere is awesome and a unique concept. Check it out!
We stumbled across this place while in Tulsa and were so glad we did! Its such a neat place with a great vibe and delicious food and drinks. The bloody mary bar was great and the buffalo chicken wrap I got is the best Ive ever had. Our server, Austin, was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. We didnt realize we had to pay to play the games and didnt have much time to spare, so i dont think we got our moneys worth in that aspect, but next time well plan to spend an afternoon there and focus more on the games. Were all looking forward to our next visit!
Had a blast, good games, good eats, good drinks, decently prices. There were families with all ages and several adult groups. Everyone looked like they were having a blast. Tons of activities to choose from, wall to wall games. Will definitely be going back soon.
Wonderful place to hang out! The people were super friendly, the atmosphere was chill, and the food was real tasty. It is somewhat expensive if youre going to get food AND play games, so factor that type of stuff into your budget going in. They have their menu online so it helped us figure out what we would eat depending on the time we got there. Overall, would definitely recommend!!
We had dinner and games here twice, and it was a lot of fun. The staff was very helpful, and told us of games we could enjoy. They have a huge selection of board games, and they even have a section with good board games for little kids.
Massive collection of games for you and your friends. Also, they serve local beers.
Good food and trivia competition.
Shuffles is the best board game cafe in the Midwest region. The library is enormous and expertly curated. The staff is hospitable and friendly. The food exceeds expectations (try the chicken strips--you wont be disappointed). And the overall atmosphere feels like a welcome-home hug for every kind of gamer. Come experience this place.
I was finally able to get my friends together to go to Shuffles. It was fantastic. Prices were fair, service was great and on top of things. Family friendly atmosphere, and a wall of board games and card games to choose from. We loved Codenames. Didnt even get to any other games. Definitely going back! If you live around Tulsa put this on your list of places to try.
A more upscale place to nerd out. The staff is great and always helpful. What a great and unique place to hang out with friends and family. The food is surprisingly incredible. Not what you’d expect from a bar/entertainment venue. It’s my new favorite hangout.
Top-notch service, especially with advice on trying new games. Extremely friendly and attentive.Excellent game selection; not a lot of expansions, but a wide selection nonetheless.Fantastic beer selection, very good mixed drinks as well.Excellent ambiance and seating, clean as well.Didnt get food, but what I saw at other tables looked excellent. EDIT: got food the following day; very good all-around. Try the peanut butter milkshake.I hope this kind of place catches on, and Shuffles would be an excellent template. Cant think of very many improvements. Deserving of a 5-star rating.
This place is great. Both food and board games are top notch. The food and drinks were creative and delicious, and the library of games was very impressive! Lots of classics and lots of new hotness games. I will definitely be coming back.EDIT: I previously dropped a star due to a pricing change for hourly all day, but now they have it back a much more reasonable setup. We always go on Tuesdays or Thursdays for half price game passes. Tuesday for Trivia Night and Thursday for date night two-for-one. I would love to come other days, but it feels a little too expensive at $12 for two people to go very often.
Shuffles is an awesome place. Huge game selection, and helpful staff to help you choose games and get started playing them. Also have food, coffee, milkshakes, and a full bar. Food/drink can get pricey, but are of high quality. We go on Sundays, when you can play as many games and as long as you want for $6. On busier days, there is a small hourly fee instead.
If you dont have fun here it is your own fault! Prices are a little high but the food is really good! Like surprisingly good. I love their burgers and their drink menu is fun. I like to go with a couple of friends and we always leave with a smile on our face. Staff is always helpful. Atmosphere is great. Bathrooms are clean. If you have never been or want to try a few games before buying them this is the place to go!
Probably one of my favorite places in tulsa! You walk in and are immediately greeted by friendly employees who guide you to your seat of honor. The air is filled with the buzz and chatter of dozens of different tables, each laden with food, each surrounded with love as a group tries to figure out a new game. The menu comes—the food all looks incredible. (It is. I recommend the pork sandwich, the milkshakes, and, believe it or not, the coffee.) There is always a classic nerd movie or show playing, projected on the wall. But all of this is ignoring the star of the show: the library of thousands of board games, so many of them, each labeled by complexity level and amount of time it takes to play. And if you’d like, the employees will walk through how to play it with you! Overall, the best spot in town!
Very good atmosphere and had a blast spending time with friends. However, food is somewhat overpriced for what a got. As well as my service was poor. Servers would rarely come to my table to see if we needed anything, had to basically hunt them down to add to my order as well as get my check and to pay. They seemed very unfocused and didn’t seem like they were really paying attention. Very nice people but need to work service skills. Would come again but please work on service please :)
I went to a company party here, and I was pleasantly surprised. The snack food and drinks were tasty, and there are tons of games for non-game people like me. I had a great experience start to finish!
This is such a fun place to bring your family. My kids love picking out board games to play. The food is great and we love the milkshakes.
This is a cool place with a cool concept. Their food is good and their drinks selection is good as well. I think that renting board games by the table would be sufficient and the way that they do it, by the person, is excessive
Shuffles is a fun shift in group activities. If you are into games, they have a huge selection. While the $5 per person per hour seems high, it is a unique experience guaranteed to leave a smile on everyones face.
I had done a lot of google searches when planning our Spring Break trip with two 13 year olds and fun places to eat was a must. Shuffles did not disappoint on that end atmosphere was good however the food for the price not worth it. I knew going in it was pricey and I dont mind paying higher prices for food when it is good and fills you up. The chicken tenders and fries that the boys got were good however did not fill them up for $14 a plate. My husbands $15 bowl of spaghetti with meatballs was not much for the price looked good but not tasty definitely not worth $15. I ordered chicken and waffles and took two bites of the waffle which was so loaded down with sage it made me ill it was $13 and came with two small chicken strips. I had promised the boys milkshakes which they loved not sure they were $7 good though. Then on top of pricey food it is an additional $6 to play which I thought was included in food price. If we come back to Tulsa we would consider going back but just to order drinks and play games paying only the gaming fee. With tip it was $100 for the 4 of us.
Good food, fun place and great service!
Easily my favorite place in Tulsa!
I loved Shuffles. Good games, good food, always great people. But, they just changed their rates so instead of paying a flat fee to go all day, its now $5 an hour. An hour?? Man, its board games. The least amount of time Id want to be there is 4 hours. But at that point, adding in anything else I want, snacks, food booze, and the hourly rate, now thats damn insane. Might as well just buy myself the games. Even just sitting playing and not getting anything, $20? No thanks. Looks like I just wont be going to shuffles any more; shame, too. I really had a good time.
This is the best place to take friends, family, double dates, first dates, awkward family members that you don’t necessarily wanna talk to but have to be around, or by yourself to play a game with the bartenders. There’s always a fun movie playing on the big screen and there’s sooo many fun games to choose from. They have my favorite burger I’ve ever had and the only pimento cheese I’ve ever liked. Cannot recommend it enough!!
Really cool concept. 100s of board games to play, the food is amazing!! I think the prices are kinda high, its super easy to get caught up in playing games and before you know it you have spent $50.00 .
Great place but menus have a lot of things no longer available.
Love this place and I have been coming since they opened. It is difficult to get in sometimes and acquire a table big enough to play some of the larger games but other than that I have zero complaints. I love the menu and it is delightfully delicious!!
What more could I want then an evening with the Guinness milkshake, chicken fried chicken, and a whole library of the best board games invented? We celebrated my brothers birthday here with a huge group of friends, and the staff and our waitress were extremely friendly and helpful. They can also give you instructions on how to play the different games if you don’t already know. I will be going back many times!!
I really enjoyed the atmosphere at Shuffles. Their game selection was downright amazing, their staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was tasty (especially the fries with rosemary
Huge selection of games, even for just two players. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was so delicious. We had brussels sprouts, french onion burger, and the chicken tenders. It was an awesome date night, and a wonderful change from the traditional movie and dinner date. We will be back and highly recommend.
They have such a large selection of games. They are very knowledgeable about board games and the staff are great. This is the best place in Tulsa to go to play board games you dont own.
