Installers are awesomeOnly issue i had was the Chinese tiny little siren that came with vipor alarm i purchaced.Had to request an old school siren be put in so that the car would be protected. Of course they dont make those anymore. So it just cost more to add it on. Im going back . Its not their fault they have to buy tiny sitens . But the ppl are kind. Just gotta pay all you got for the best. 😉

Went in and got excellent guidance on a new car stereo. I was worried it would look like the typical aftermarket stereo install but Mark showed me pics of how my exact vehicle would look afterwards. There was no trying to push me to buy more or buy the most expensive, I was guided towards what I asked for and what was really the best for my needs and vehicle. Install was perfect and only took a few hours and Mark came out and gave me a tutorial on my new equipment. I absolutely recommend going to Car Toys to get the most professional and knowledgeable aftermarket sales and install equipment. Youll also get the most genuine customer service ever, the guys over there really do want you to be happy with your choices and wont push something on you due to corporate pressure etc. Thank you Mark I couldnt be happier.

Mark and my installer went above and beyond for me. They did an amazing job on my Jeep Cherokee. Other reviews say this place is expensive, I got quotes from several car audio shops and was quoted several hundreds more than Car Toys. Most audio shops wanted to quote the most expensive head units that I didn’t want. Also other shops was telling me they’re backed up several weeks. Not car toys they got me in 1 week after they ordered parts.

Came to car toys to look at a new touchscreen stereo and keyless system. Spoke with Mark who was a wonder of customer service. He very informative, spoke clearly, maintained good eye contact and laid out all my options.Felt very comfortable the system that is right for me.Although I didnt buy anything today, I i have a much better idea what Im looking at in way of systems and prices.

First time here. As a woman, I felt respected and treated fairly. I had one speaker going in and out. They not only beat the dealers price, but replaced both speakers! Oh, and the 70s tunes playing in the store was awesome! Highly recommend!

So paid a lot of money to have stereo and speakers installed. They never told me what speakers they were putting in. For all I know could be used. Already had to go back because my stereo head was falling off. After all that I found out my stereo came with a remote. And they decided to keep it and not give it to me. I paid for everything in in the box it should have been given to me. Was going to have other stuff done. But they are Kind of shysters and rude. Not a good experience. Feels like I was ripped off. In more then one way. Steer clear do yourself a favor. Wish I could have given zero stars.

I only rated it one star because I couldn’t do ZERO. No customer service. No interest in helping us. These are the car guys you worry about. Rude, short, wouldn’t give us options. They will steal your money. Steer clear!!

Great customer service! I came in off the street needing a fob replaced on an outdated remote start (not their product) from a suv I bought that the previous owner never gave the fob. Car Toys couldve gave me the only option of pushing their product on me or sending me on my way (and I wouldve completely understood) but instead they went wayyyy out of their way to help me out even to the point of grabbing the installer out of the back while he was working on scheduled jobs and solved the problem on the programming. These guys helped me make my wifes birthday present tonight great!

Over the years Ive had 2 Large stereo systems installed by car toys, Ive always been happy with their work.5 years ago I took my third vehicle to be worked on by them. They installed an alarm and then later a small amp and 4 speakers.I went in a few days ago with my alarm not working, they took the time and had a couple guys come out and look at my truck, the installation guy fixed it by replacing the antenna. Great customer service, the bearded guy was very patient and kind when helping me with my 350z radio questions. When I thought I had a problem with the setup he was able to tell me what parts I was missing and I now have my radio installed. I definitely recommend but only reason I’m giving three stars is the crazy prices. They charge $33 for the same kit that’s on amazon for $13. Great service but way too expensive for what it’s worth.

Not so honest.

I spent 13k for a new system and some custom work on the interior. It took a month to complete the work. From day one every time I stopped at a stoplight in E-mode the system completely shut down. After a month interference was coming through the speakers and eventually static even when the new system was turned off. I have taken it to Car Toys multiple times and eventually moved to Dallas. I would bring the car at Bens request and stay overnight, so that they could keep the car for all the time that they needed. After three trips from Dallas they could never make things work correctly. Most of the time we would just keep the amp in the off mode, so that we did not have to hear the interference. I was blamed by Ben that I would not leave the car with them long enough. They would have the car for 24 hours each time. I wanted to talk to the owner and was denied every time. Eventually, I was told that the owner Charlie did not want to speak to me because he never made any money off of me. I was told he was a new owner at the time my car was being worked on. Charlie was there when they presented the car with the new system and lights. Its terrible that so many promises made and they could not simply deliver. The good news in this is that I took my car to a professional stereo shop here in Dallas. They were amazing and fixed the issues in 1 and 1/2 hours. Car Toys in Tulsa would not be recommended and quite frankly I was warned before I took mine in. I wished I would have listened.

I decided to go to car toys to purchase a sound system for my new truck that I purchased, a heavy set guy came up to me and asked how could he help me, I told him I wanted a good sound system for my truck and definitely wanted a box under the seats, he said $900 and that was ALL he said, he didnt even bother to explain what came with that package or anything, just looked at me in the eyes as if I didnt have any money to purchase. Was not a friendly experience at all, went to BOOMERS Audio on 41st and got a whole different experience, Ill recommend them any day over Car Toys, theyre completely unprofessional and all they care about is money not the customer satisfaction AVOID THEM!!

Went to car toys for the first time to see what was up with my 2 12in subs cutting in and out. They gave me a few explanations and explained each in detail aswell as in a manner I understood. Eventually, I purchased two new subs to work better with the amp I had already installed in my truck. Overall, they were very nice, friendly, and understanding. I took my cart to Car Toys to have my GPS map updated. The employees were extremely accommodating and even showed my how to do it myself next time. In order for me to do it myself, the technician moved the access to another place behind the dash that is now accessible to me.As for the service costs, they could not have been any fairer!

Ive been in to car audio a long time. I came to Tulsa on business and checked out 5 shops. Asked a lot of questions in all five shops and 4 of them were some of the worst Ive ever been to in my life. My last stop was car toys. I asked a lot of advanced questions. They never faultered. They know what they are doing. Flat out the best I seen in Tulsa. I wont say the place doesnt have stuff to offer, it just felt crowded and didnt really have demo ready appeal. Employees seemed knowledgeable, I however never saw an install done by them so I cant comment on that. I came in to demo audiofrog but thw demo wall was lack luster and untuned. Maybe it was the room, maybe it was the flat tuning on the wall. They have good product for sure, It just didnt fit what I was looking for personally. I ultimately went with other brands that were more affordable but comparible. Also they werent able to ship product which was the kick in the bucket for me. I wasnt local so I couldnt take what I wanted with me. My advice to the store, be willing to ship product. Could have had my sale that day.

Took my truck in cause my subs werent working told me it was my amp so bought a new one. Still didnt wanna work so took my truck for check up. Turned out to be my electrical. Trust these guys for years with all my vehicles. Now wont refund Me for their mistake in telling me it was my amp and my old one still worked perfectly. I guess they arent professionals like I thought!

YOU WILL FIND BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE ONLINE!! these people do not give a crap about your money. i had to wait over 3 weeks for a subwoofer and they said they would call when in stock. NO PHONE CALL or warning that i would even have to wait that long i had to call them. when i went to pick up the sub there was no hello how are you the dude just looked at me (who also told me they dont make a cover for a p3 shallow and then he told me they were out of stock?...thought you said they didnt make one?) i handed him my receipt got my sub. no sorry about your wait or anything. not to mention after my previous installation my thermostat controls do not function properly and the light that illuminates the controls flickers on and off. i refuse to even let them even think of touching my truck again. very rude people PLEASE TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE!!! I have had insanely great service at other local car audio places such as Boomers. The guys name was Mike stellar dude even let me watch them install and build the box.

I have been an avid customer for years. The guys here at the shop know Im typically the kind of guy that does his own installs, although when I ran into a problem they were always quick to help me solve it, but when I bought my brand new car this year I decided I wanted a shop to connect a few pieces. I know my way around a system, but when it came to tapping into the factory radio they definitely knew better what they were doing. While I was there, I also had them build me a box for my new sub. The job they did was beyond excellent. They took the time to listen to what I wanted, shoot ideas back and forth, as well as give me honest advice when they saw something in my plan that wouldnt work like I thought. You wont find a more professional and honest group than Ben, Charles, Frank, Jeff, and Pao. This phenomenal shop has given me the best customer service I have ever seen from the first day I ever walked through their doors. They have always given me excellent advice and helped any way they could without pressuring me to buy anything. It was honestly about two years of them dealing with me for anything other than a few fuses before I ever bought anything from them, and still the service was never lacking. Now my whole setup has come from them, and if its work I cannot do myself, they are the only ones that I will allow to touch my car. Thanks guys, appreciate you all.

I called to have them install my speaker box and an amp. Person claimed to ONLY what they sell. I bought them at the car toys in Denton Texas. So I guess they dont do it

Car Toys installed a remote start system in early 2008. One of the fobs broke, so upon inquiring with them about how to get a new one, they directed me to the least expensive supplier and told me to bring it to them to program. Once I received it they got me in and out in 15 minutes. Good people and great service.

I spoke with a man named Ben (if that is his real name) and he used extremely bad language with me including racial slurs, hung up in my face multiple times, and refused me service once he found out I was an African American man. If you are an African American man try to avoid going here unless you want to deal with exceptionally poor service. On top of all that, I didnt even get my problem resolved because they refused to help me. Its very sad that there are still people like this living amongst us and giving good workers/people a horrible name I couldve saved my $700 that I spent on my stereo system and I definitely wouldnt have spent my money there if Ben was working there back when I made my initial purchase.

They installed my sons speakers about a month ago ......he loves them . For system, installation and the whole set up was under 500.00 . When I called the staff was not only respectful, but inquisitive of the issue and gave a price. The work was completed the same day, and Bill (the gentleman familiar with the problem and the resolution) explained the process fully and fixed the problem. Steer clear of Car Toys.I bought a remote start from Car Toys, and have had nothing but issues with it. In the year that I have had it, I have had to take it back to them at least once each month. They keep replacing parts, but will not refund my money or do give any compensation for this situation. I will never buy from them again. If they refunded my money, and took the starter back, I would be happy... But they clearly stated that they will not. I have wasted countless hours trying to correct this situation, and it continues to this day.

I had a lifetime warranty on my alarm system and it quit working. It turned out it was not my alarm system it was the latch on my door and they told me how to fix it. Good guys but they are pretty pricey.

I bought a backup camera and monitor from them. Every six months the camera goes out. When I call about getting another camera, the guy was short with me. He kept cutting me off. I was willing to pay for another camera, but he wouldnt let me get a word in. Think twice before goin here.

Went there to get a speaker replaced in my gas tank, was walking to the front door and a helicopter landed in front of me.Two guys wearing capes step out of the helicopter, the guy to the left of me seemed to be the pilot, as he was wearing goggles.They looked right through me, like two salty sea captains that have seen the entire wrath of the seas come down on them, and endured.My point is, they didnt care who I was, they just said, go home, were closed. Its Sunday. In unison, no less.Came back Monday, got that speaker.

Hmmmm....Horrible reviews mixed with stellar reviews yet all the poor reviews actually list facts of why the service was so poor vs the occasional, These guys are awesome!. Reeks of fake accounts generated by the business to offset the poor customer reviews. Went to their website that hasnt been updated in well over a year, looks like it was designed by a 13yr old in his parents basement. Dealt with shady shops in the past with similar trademarks.......Seems safer to order your gear from a reputable online supplier and do the work yourself than to take a gamble here.Yea, I am going to pass.

My son jammed a DVD into the player in my van when there was already a movie in it. Then neither would come out. I went to 2 different Honda dealerships and both said they cant do anything about it. Im a patron of Car Toys since 1996. Ive had close to 8 systems installed by this team. In the past they definitely had some personnel issues but that has since been addressed.You will pay a premium and they will work with you on the price but keep in mind they are delivering a quality product and are around to make money to be able to stay in business. They are conducting installations that the average Joe is incapable of doing. That does come with a price just like a paint and body shop to paint a car. In both instances you get what you pay for. What you are paying for at Car Toys is the knowledge and expertise this team exemplifies in every installation.I dont believe youre going to find a more capable installer/fabricator than Frank. He can look at your vehicle and immediately inform you of the type of sub woofer box he could build that will get the results youre looking for. And even when you limit the amount of space he can utilize, he can still engineer a very functional solution. If you can dream it up, Frank can make it happen.Any time Ive had an issue both Frank and Ben have been more than accommodating in helping isolate and resolve the root cause. And because they warranty their work it doesnt end up costing anything. If you are experiencing an issue they want you to stop by so they can get it addressed and get you back to driving and enjoying your system.Ben works on the sales side and he is very knowledgeable about the products and what will and wont give you the sound quality you are looking for. Hes not afraid of a challenge and will research until he finds the appropriate solution of you come up with a one-off scenario.The entire staff is friendly and professional with a laid back attitude.
