Stay away. After a shop in Grove could not fix our Yamaha engine we finally brought it here for repair. They could not figure it out so we purchased a brand new Yamaha 150 HP outboard. The first time we put it in the water it vibrated the entire boat. We took it back and they put a new prop on it. Back in the water and same problem. After looking at it, the bolts holding the engine to the transom were finger tight at best. We were very close to losing the new engine into the water. So we tightened and double bolted them. Then on the 2nd day out we lost steering. After looking at the connections, the steering hose bolts were not even tight. For $18k you would think a mechanic could bolt the new engine on and tighten the 6 bolts necessary to make it functional. Not here. Go elsewhere. They did tighten one of the battery terminal bolts. I guess theres that.

Do not ! I repeat don’t go there for service ! I had my boat in the shop 4 times and it still wasn’t fixed, asked every single time if they made sure the boat was mechanically sound before I loaded up my family for the lake . Spent thousands of dollars in the last 30 days . Take it out after repeatedly asking if the boat was mechanically sound . Absolutely your good to go! Should have known better after the 4th time in there shop! Get to the lake with boat loaded and family in tow, starters fried ! They do the bare minimum charge the maximum and lie strait to your face ! Lies lies and more lies ! Ruined day at the lake, when they could have just started it to make sure it was fine before hand ! I will never again and you should never be a customer of theirs !

The service manager Matt actually stayed over a couple hours just to get the boat ready. This was one of the most pleasant experiences I’ve ever had purchasing a boat. I called this morning to see if they had spark plug wires for my boat. A lady named Donna answered the phone. Told her what I needed she asked if I had the serial number. I do but I cant read it cause its worn off. She said ok then told me to hang on. As she was getting off the phone she said oh my gosh real loud and then hung up on me. If this is how you guys treat people I would rather drive a little further and give someone else my money that appreciates it. I work next door to you guys I thought I would be nice to get the parts I need from you. I would not recommend you guys at all to anybody.

Every week I called to check on the repair of my boat, always got the run around or lied to. It took 5 weeks to fix a loose wire!!! I guess you go to the bottom of the list for a 5 minuite repair & not make much money.

We had a wonderful experience and the staff bent over backwards to help us. Donna at the parts desk was extremely helpful finding an uncommon part for our Bimini. She opened a new package to see if the part would work even though she knew we may not buy it. Jason overheard our conversation and took it upon himself to search the stockroom and found us a part that fit. He was very knowledgeable and happy to answer any other questions we had. Thanks to them we will have shade this Memorial weekend!! We will use them in the future for all of our marine needs.

Jason and the crew went above and beyond my expatations. I wont take my boat any place but here.UPDATE....Well i dont think this is a coincidence. Every time I take my boat to this dealer. Something other then what was wrong is broke as soon as I get my boat home. I brought it to the attention of the service manager. And he blamed it on my motor brand. Really dude give me a break. Heres the kicker. I take my boat back in so they fixed the problem that they were supposed to fix in the first place. The guy calls me and precedes to tell me that my motor needs $1,000 part. Really dude! My boat ran fine when I brought it to you. How did it stop working while in your possession. What did you do to my boat. And its funny how the problem corrected itself. Once I threw up freaking absolute fit to the owner. This place is a joke. I thought they went above and beyond. Well they did in conning me out of a lot of money. Profit over people! Thats their motto!

We have taken our boat into Blackbeards several times and the guys have taken care of our problems over and above the call of duty. They were knowledgeable and very prompt with the service. They are available to answer your calls and always willing to answer your questions. They make you feel like part of their family, would highly recommend them.

I went there some years ago to look at boats. They had a new Bryant on the showroom that the salesman told me was on sale do to the boat show down town. Nice 23 footer with a 502 engine but it didnt have Captains call exhaust. I asked the salesman about having it installed and he told me to go get a cassette player with loud exhaust recorded and play that instead. Like has been already stated it is amazing to me how this place stays in business. Needless to say I will never go there again.

I bought a G3 boat in June of this year and Daniel lied about the warranty on the boat and so did Jason saying that it had a lifetime warranty on it, by my owners manual it says nothing about a lifetime warranty! This is the reason behind the warranty issue, the g3 bay/18 hull is hooked. Which caused the boat to lean bad to port side from mid to full throttle. So they modified the hull so it would halfway plane correctly. I did not pay 34,000 dollars for a boat to be modified, but the whole problem is that the hull is hooked from the start and none of them will own up to it!!!!! Bottom line, I would not recommend to anyone to buy a boat from them and certainly not G3! They will not back the customer on any issue, just a little more information about blackbeard. They depreciated the boat over 8000.00 dollars in 6 wks of me having the boat!!!! Everyone should run from them.....

Mercury sportboat. Absolutely THE place to go for your boat needs, stay away from Daves marine by all means, just call Jason @ Blackbeards

I am reserving judgement at the moment. The staff has actually been very cordial and understanding. I purchased a brand new 2016 Skeeter FX21 LE. The front locator has never worked properly. The running lights didnt work on the first try, drain plug broken...just some minor headaches. I have only used the boat a few times since purchase because I take it back each time for minor problems.I am putting my foot down about the locator as I expect a brand new unit to replace the factory, not a rebuild or fixed unit.I LOVE the boat, the staff has been very nice, but perhaps Im just snake bit!

I dont understand these 1 star rankings, Ive taken my boat there a couple of times to have different things done to it. (An older Evinrude needs worked on everynow and then haha). Ive always had a great experience. Theyre easy to work with, and have always been very timely in my opinion. Also, after calling other mechanics for the same issues, they were by far the most reasonably priced. The only thing I dont like is driving in Tulsa with a boat, but then I try to avoid Tulsa every chance I can get.

The cost of repairs was way too expensive. I could of got the same job done at another dealership for alot less.
