This place has had my boat since July and still isnt fixed yet. I called and the guy said he just found the email in his spam folder. They sell some nice boats, but cannot fix/maintain the boats in a timely manner. Filled w empty promises and lacks huge professionalism.Never will I recommend or buy another boat from here

They refuse to work on any boat over twenty years old. They also want to keep your boat for 2-3 weeks hostage to secure your spot in line in the service department. And they park your boat outside in the elements during this time as well. They refused to put me on the service waiting list and let me bring my boat in a few days before my service appointment. I have no idea why they want my boat to set in their yard for 2-3 weeks before they are ready for it. And you know they will make you sign a liability waver before you leave it, limiting their liability while they are in possession of your boat.
I took my boat in for its annual service. They did the regular oil and filter change and water pump impeller change (although I hate it when they dont reconnect the speedometar tube after they are done.) I also had a special request to find our gear oil leak in the gearbox of our inboard/outboard lower unit. They did a great job of not only identifying the issue but also fixing it. I had been to two other boat repair shops and one could not seem to be able find the leak and the other offered to do exploratory surgery on a time and material basis. I figured I could buy a lot of gear oil at $150 per hour. I will definitely be back.

Very disappointing experience to say the least, gave the service manager my model & year and the work needed they said it yes they could work on my boat. Told bring it in before Memorial day to beat the rush due to large volume of work after the holiday, had my boat for 4 weeks called said the carburetor needed rebuilt & couldnt get parts, got on the internet found a rebuild kit in 5 minutes. Wondering if selling 6 boats a day as I was told & need techs to work on make readies had any bearing on this poor excuse of customer service or if their just that bad all the time. Needless to say I will never give them money ever again and will spread my experience with anyone asking about boat repairs. Said something when picking my broken boat up they didnt even respond, their added to my lifetime ban list.

I have bought 2 boats from Stan over the years, the latest one a Ranger. Every time I have gone in Ive been greeted, they have always answered my questions and been I feel very fair on there prices. As far as maintenance or repairs I ask when they want it and Ive gotten it back in a timely manner. I dont think you could find a better dealer in the state!
Was in the market for a lightly used Triton boat for casual fishing, skiing, etc and Nichols had exactly what I was looking for. Boone at Nichols Tulsa was excellent to work with and answered all of my question promptly and accurately. He even worked with me to update a few items on the boat and giving me credit on the items being replaced. I drove 17 hours to even see the boat for the first time but I had perfect confidence in Boones representation of the boats condition and I just knew that Id be towing the boat home. Nichols Marine did not disappoint! I certainly look forward to doing more business with Nichols regardless of how far away they are. Good people, good business! I bought a new ranger z518 from Nichols marine on 8/31/17. I have been very pleased with the people that work there. Very friendly very helpful. Special thanks to Stan, Boone, and Jessie. Shopped at Nichols before the purchase of my new Ranger in 2013, they treat me as good today as the day that I ordered my new boat. Service is always done in a reasonable amount of time, sometimes quicker than I expect it. Never had a problem with any of the guys there, I would highly recommend this boat dealership for sales or service.
Poor customer service and rude in the service department. It shouldn’t matter where a person buys their boat. If I buy my Nissan in Tulsa I should be able to get it serviced at any Nissan dealership. Should be the same with boat dealerships as well! Sounds like they just don’t want to work, just sell boats!

Great experience, had the fuel injection system completely gone through, lower unit serviced and power poles installed. All done in a timely manner and a reasonable price. Employees I delt with were very helpful and friendly. Would recommend to anyone

Ive always had a good experience with these guys.Repairs were always satisfactory.But as of late,,,,, summer of 2018,,,, I tried to service my Yamaha Pro V 150 and was told they just made a conscious decision to only work on 1998 and newer,,, loyal customer or not,, mine is a 1995 and been babied since new and very dependable.Wow !?!But alas,,,,,, was told the option was to go to Blackbeard Marine,,,,,, they were two weeks out on appointments,,,,, but at least they gave me the number to Daves Marine Repair at Admiral Pl and 122nd e. Ave.They had just moved into this bigger shop.THEY took care of me in short order.Sorry Nichols,,,,, you lost a big tipper,,,,, but I understand that sometimes you have to do what you have to do.You still have a good parts department and Ill use that from time to time.

Bought my Regency pontoon with a 90 hp motor in the winter, couldnt try it out do to weather but was told by the owner or manager that if anything was wrong with the motor that it would show up on the scope they use and that it showed nothing wrong. It has been a year & 4 months ago, I have yet to take it out where I barely made it back into the dock. The first time this happened was the second time I took it out, I took it back to them and they told me it would take 10, 000 + dollars to fix it in there shop but it was all mine they would not take care of any of it. The owner refuse to speak to me since the day I signed the papers he lied to me just to make a sale. I would never ever ever set foot in that place again. I took it to a shop that I think fixed it for a cost of 2,000.00. I really hope you who are looking for a good used boat take note of the action of this company.

I have done business with Stan at Nichols marine in Tulsa for years now. There is not a better dealer to do business with. I have bought 3 boats there and every time I was treated like part of the family. The service department is very knowleagble and for that they stay busy. When your the best at what you do you tend to have a lot of customers. These reviews knocking the legitimacy of Nichols are unsubstantiated and unfair. If you have a problem, talk to Stan like a normal logical human and he WILL make it right with you. They absolutely pride themselves on repeat customers. I feel that way every time Im there. Couldnt be happier with a dealership.

Wish there was an option to give no stars. I dropped my boat off for minor/preventive maintenance and was told that it would probably be about two weeks before it could get looked at by a technician. I was fine with the wait as the maintenance was not going to be more than five hours worth of work. I called at the two week point (a Monday) and was told that I was getting close to the top of the list and they were going to try and get it out by the end of the week. Then, I told them to not do three of the four requested repairs as I did not have confidence that they would be able to finish them by the end of the week (Friday) as I needed it back by then. On Wednesday, I drove to the shop during my lunch break to make sure the maintenance requests were taken off as well as to see where the boat was at in the order. Chris, the maintenance manager, was unavailable and I was directed to the company manager. I asked him questions to ascertain if they would be able to get my boat completed by Friday. I proceeded to seek an answer as to why I had to wait two and a half weeks for something that would only take a few hours to fix. He stated that they are looked at on a first come, first serve basis as is typical. However, an alternate solution would be to place small jobs in between large jobs so as to offset some of the wait time for customers. He stated that if I wanted to I could get my boat and take it to another repair shop. I would have done that except I was a two boats away from being next, so it made sense to leave it there. I even made it easier for them to get my boat fixed quicker by reducing the amount of repairs. He believed I was trying to tell him how to run his business and stated he will get it in now so as to not have to deal with me anymore. I kindly thanked him and started to exit the shop. As I was leaving, he reiterated that he will get it to me by this Friday and not to bring it back. Before I walked into the shop that day, I had already decided that I would never use that company again due to the extremely long wait time for a small job and poor customer service I received. I left the shop at 12:15pm. At 1:30pm, I received a call from the maintenance manager stating that my boat was ready for pick up. Also, I had tried to repair it myself and during the process I tore the cheap paper gasket in half and I forgot to mention it to them. This should have been noticed in the repair and a new gasket put on. However, the same gasket was used. Hopefully, the gasket will hold for a few more weeks. In summary, I had to wait two and a half weeks for a one hour repair. I would not recommend this shop as you will have to wait weeks on end just to have one spark plug replaced (which only takes five minutes by the way) as well as the lack of customer service.

If you havent tried Nichols lately its time!!!Six boats and counting all with great service. Even when you run the 277 chap out of gas just call them and the rescue team is on the way.......now thats how its done!! Ask for the jezek rookie coverage plan
I’ve never done business at this location, but needed some minor warranty work and service done on a newer Ranger & Mercury boat/motor. I called to book an appointment in hopes to take the boat in and drop it off this week before leaving on a trip. When I called, I got a service tech on the phone who’s first question he asked me was “if I purchased the boat there?”. I replied no, and he said hold a minute while I check the schedule. Another individual came back on the phone and told me they were about 3 - 4 weeks out from any openings and they only do first come first serve and don’t set up service appointments. I was a little surprised and kinda felt like they weren’t interested in working with me since I didn’t buy it there. He then asked me what all I needed done and I began explaining what I needed (aerator pump, Seastar line rubbing a spot, loose wire in passenger side rod holder and a loose spot in the carpet where the glue didn’t stick and etc, nothing major) . He said, “it sounds like poor dealer prep, and I would recommend you take it back to where you bought it!” Not totally surprised by this response, because I’ve heard some other boat owners mention they were not customer service oriented and only cared about selling boats, not servicing them. Customer service and good service work means more than good boat deals to most owners. I called Barling Boat Sales in Arkansas and got a hassle free appointment within a week. Ranger would be disappointed to know that Nichols Marine operate this way. Most importantly I felt it was disrespectful and blatantly rude to even mention such a thing when my dealer had nothing to do with prepping it. It’s an FLW package deal set up at the ranger factory. I dont think Rob Kilby, nor Jordan Nichols would approve of this business practice. Very disappointing....
Nice people but ran my repair bill up by doing unnecessary work, took my starter apart causing it to stop working in the middle of the lake, when I asked why i was told that the mechanic didnt like the way it looked but him taking it about had nothing to do with it failure. But I was still charged for their screw up.
I walked in and wanted to buy a $10,000 motor.... I waited 40 minutes, and both of the sales people were too busy to talk to me.... Cant imagine how tough it would be to get said motor worked on via warranty..I wont be back...
