I brought my Jeep to them because two of my smog monitors wouldnt set and the previous mechanics shop I used couldnt figure it out. I dropped my Jeep off on Thursday just before they closed, and before lunch the next day they had figured it out and smogged it for me. I wish I had known about them months ago. They were friendly, helpful, and willing to have the tech who was going to work on my Jeep talk through the issue with me.

Supposed to be new computer from Mopar. Cost me 980 at least, well it didn’t last 6 years so I’m replacing it and found out they got remanufactured computer from Oriely for a third of the price so make sure you’re getting the quality of parts they claim they’re putting in your vehicle

Good auto shop. The auto techs are friendly as well as the front staff. They may be somewhat pricey but you get what you pay for. A good job with a warranty. Therere not as costly as the dealership.

My wife and I were just passing through and noticed that we were having some problems with our Hondas brakes. We called in the morning and they got us in within the next 1.5 hours and replaced the brake rotors and brake pads. The most awesome part about it is that they knew we were trying to get back on the road at lunch time, so they worked hard to get us back on the road shortly after noon. I think they may have skipped lunch to work on it. On top of that, we felt the price for parts and labor was fair, their place was clean, and their staff was very friendly and courteous. I took my 2006 Chevy Duramax for a check engine and battery light it took them a month to “fix the problem”. Finally I got my truck and the next day the lights came back on. Took truck back to have them “repair” the first issue and had to pay some other fees that other issues were found and with all “repairs” I paid over $1,000.00. At the end the problems were never fixed since lights came back within 2 days and smog check didn’t pass. Be aware this place is a SCAM and do not take your vehicle’s here. My smog check was finally passed after taking it to another shop.

John camara the owner and his service writers Juan and Cisco are very knowledgeable in Automotive and honest and will tell you whats exactly wrong with your vehicle. They will get the job done right great mechanics and the secretarys who take care of the finish work in regards to the billing are very friendly.

I had a similar experience as some others are posting regarding the smog. I took my vehicle in, it failed. I was told by the receptionist that Ill get some sort of discount for the second smog and when I took it in, John (I believe, an older gentleman), gave me a discounted price before the smog. It failed again and he charged me full price. I asked about the discount and he said he cant give me one due to the vehicle being older and it takes a different sort of test. Dont give your customers one price, then swap it afterwards. I was fortunate enough to save enough money to purchase a new vehicle. Ill no longer give this place anymore of my hard earned money just to be ripped off. Save your money, everyone, and go somewhere else. If youre having trouble finding a business that smogs vehicles older than 2000 models, take a look around Visalia. Best of luck to those out there in that regard.

Good honest people at Camara Auto. Its a little pricier, but I always go there for my smog checks because they dont charge extra to check the vehicle again if it fails. Ive learned the hard way at other places. Nice staff and waiting room too.

Our vehicle & my sister in laws vehicle have been here a total of 8 times in a 3 week period just to get a smog check done so that we can go back to the DMV to change ownership & get tags but they never run the smog test. They just run some kind of test that brings up that theres something wrong with the vehicles but wont do the actual smog test or tell us whats wrong with the vehicles. They just keep suggesting to drive, drive, drive & drive it some more. They dont care if you tell them you need it smogged for the certificate to show the DMV that it hasnt pasted smog yet so you can get a movers permit so you dont get pulled over or get a ticket. They just say were saving you money by not fully smogging it yet & you can drive it up & down the back roads & youll be fine. I HIGHLY DONT/WONT RECOMMENDED THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE! (By the way for those looking for a place to get an actual smog check done Bails in Porterville helped me out big time!)

Scammers! Went in there for a timing belt change... and they told me i needed a new engine. Dont come to this place. Obviously they are full time scammers.

My son took his car here for a smog. They said the car failed. Took it somewhere else on the same day without fixing or doing anything to the car and the other place said it passed with flying colors. Hmmmm something doesnt seem right with this.
