Cardenas and Austin both did an outstanding job installing our fence yesterday. You can tell from the photos that they know how to put just the right curve in the fencing and make it look fantastic. Not only that, but they were very accommodating to our specific requests and last-minute changes. I appreciated their advice and insight on a couple of items we werent sure about. They were professional and polite and did their work quickly and well. Highly recommend!

Its obvious that they have worked together before. They were friendly, responsive, and most professional. The work was done efficiently, and the end result is very much to our liking.

I do indeed have a new fence around my yard. That is about all I can say that might be positive.. They left my yard in a mess with concrete (both dry and wet/mixed) all over my yard. As you can see in the pictures they removed the survey pins and simply left them lying on the ground. So much for the money spent on surveying. My back fence line is 130 feet long. I expected to have a 130 foot level fence line similar to my neighbors fence. Not the case. They simply raised and lowered various sections of the fence which left unnecessarily large gaps between the ground and the bottom fence rail. You can see this in the pictures. I understand this is necessitated in some situations. In my case no attempt was made to maintain a level fence line what so ever. It would have been so simple and taken minimal effort to smooth certain parts of the ground below the fence line to enable a more level top rail. Many areas of the paint look like a five year old did the painting. They put two sections in the wrong location. Fortunately I caught one of them early on and they pulled it up and repositioned it in the spot we had previously agreed upon. I was not home when they misplaced the other section so now it simply is what it is. To be fair they did offer to come remove it and relocate it. I simply do not understand why after several conversations, drawings and discussion it would not have simply been done properly the first time. For the over $6,000 price tag all I can say is that I have a new fence around my yard. They simply do not have an eye for the details. I cleaned up the yard myself and will tough up the paint myself on my new fence. Again, to be fair, they did offer to come back and clean up my yard and touch up the paint for me. I simply preferred to do it right the first time.

This was the second time I used this company for a security gate around another entry to my pool. Jason and Roy showed up on time and did a great job with the gate. Everything turned out as good as the first time with a different crew. I especially want to thank Nick who was able to fast-track this gate, despite a 6-8 week lead-time, to less than 4 weeks so Id have the gate before the inspection, which comes in a few days. These guys are pros and do what they say they are going to do. You cant ask for more.

At first I was very excited to do business with this company after mostly seeing good reviews from others, but my experience was far from excellent. I had scheduled my appointment for measurements for a new fence and double gate which went well. Took about 6 weeks for the actual install, which I can understand, due to the pandemic etc. On the day of the install the installers were friendly but did not wear masks when in contact with me. The owner stated the job would be completed in one day in which it was not. One of the workers had a (medical issue) so it ended up only being 1 installer left to himself for the day. Yard was left vulnerable overnight as there was no security between the alley and my back door. Installers came back the next day and completed the install. The final look of my corrugated fence was supposed to have a rustic look but there were many missed areas when spraying due to the workers stating they had to rush to another job. Fence and gate was still not up to standard so business was called back. Almost impossible to reach Michelle at the front desk, if she knows the number she will ignore your call until you use another number to call and she will answer no problem. Came back a 3rd time and finally finished the spraying properly to make it look how it was supposed to in the beginning. I definitely did not feel like my business was important to them. Would not recommend this business to people unless you are looking to spend 10s of thousands of dollars on a semi decent fence. Communication between owner/front desk/workers is not there. This was a big upset.

We had a backyard gate installed and cannot be more pleased with it. The gate itself is very well constructed and just what we ordered. Kudos to the installation crew, Steven and Abdon, for the professional work they performed. These two were courteous and went the extra mile to answer our questions and concerns. The estimator for our gate would not return calls or emails; had to call the office to ask them to have him respond to us. Agreed to a price and design and signed a contract. Called the office with our CC number to pay for the job in full and thought it was all taken care of. Called one month later to check on an install date and they said they didn’t receive a deposit so the work had not even started. Really!?!? They said we will need to start the process over again (another 8-12 weeks). Who has and where did my credit card information go? Obviously not doing business with this company and hopefully won’t need to cancel my credit card.

Steven Ramsey and Abdon Alvarez, my installers, were very courteous and professional. But everything leading up to this installation was anything but easy. And very pricey!

We needed service on a gate that had become very difficult to open, and unfortunately it took a couple of months to get a service appointment. However, installers Jason and Alex came within their time window and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. They took an extra moment to perform maintenance and lubrication on our other gate as well. We were very happy with their service, but took off a star in the ratings because it took so long to get an appointment.

I can not express how happy I am with my experience with this company. Every person I have talked to has been so nice and helpful. Michelle, in the office put up with me calling every week to see if my turn was coming to finally have privacy in my yard. I’ve been dreaming of a fence for years. She was always so nice, I felt like I was talking to a friend. Then the day came and Cardenas Redsteer and Steve came and transformed my yard with precision and good cheer. I ordered a fence on my back yard. Even though the process from ordering to actual fence building was a bit slow and I was not informed by the company about when the work was scheduled to be done, I am extremely pleased with the result. Steven Ramsey and Conrad Padilla did great job and they were hilarious dudes. The fence looks great!The issue with me being uninformed was most probably caused by the fact that my landlord was the one making the contract, so he was the one who was informed. Nevertheless, everything went very well in the end and I dont have any reason why this company would not have my recommendations.

These people are ridiculous with customer service. I have been trying to contact Jeff for 3 weeks now to schedule a time for him to go out and measure for a double gate and pedestrian gate and he still has yet to respond. Ill gladly take my money elsewhere to a company that knows how to follow up with a customer who was ready to pay them for services.11/11/18 UPDATE: Because this company decided to respond by LYING about us, I decided to add screenshots of email correspondence showing we were REQUESTING an estimate(which was July 31st, 2018, not August 2nd like they referenced in their response) and ASKING if they offered military discount.....not ONCE was there anything in emails that we DEMANDED prices and discounts!! Their website even states contact us for a price quote so thats what we did!! I have MANY more emails but figured people would see from these few that we never once DEMANDED anything.If you look through previous reviews, were not the only customers theyve done this to, and this pathetic company NEVER owns up to their mistakes, they always respond back to people who left negative reviews by trash talking and blaming them for a job or estimate not being done.They even posted on Facebook saying we acted entitled by asking for a military discount(my fiance is an 18 year veteran in the Air Force, why would we not ask if they offer military discount!? If they didnt, they could have easily just said no!)Most REPUTABLE companies respond in ways to make things right, not blame others for their own unprofessional actions!

Received an email from the company owner today, 1/8/2021, asking me what I expected from them since my call was returned within 48 hours.. I replied that the only person from their company I heard from was a young lady yesterday who explained the warranty to me and was to arrange service. As I told them, you may have called someone but I assure you it wasn’t me.

Our installer was Cardenas Redsteer, and he did a wonderful job of making sure the gate was very secure and touching up the paint in the entire fence before he left. I would definitely hire Mr. Redsteer for more work around the property.

Starting in the showroom, Krystle was very helpful and patient. It took us weeks to finally deceide on a design and she was as enthusiastic on the date of order as the first day we met.The installers, Ruben and Daniel were punctual and performed a professional install.You should know that each gate is custom made by hand. You can order from their catalog or create any design you would like.They will also provide metalwork. They are currently making us custom trellises.

Dont let the word Affordable lead you to think the quality is less. We just had a custom 7 foot trellis installed. The quality is great and Avery and Chris (the installers) took amazing care to make sure the trellis was perfectly aligned and level. It looks great! Thanks!

Install for our new corrugated steel fence was finished today, and we are beyond pleased with the results! Steve and Ramon busted their butts off for us in this blistering heat, and the quality of their workmanship exceeds our expectations. My neighbor used a different company (Red flag if the company you hire can install the very next day after an estimate. All of the reputable companies in town are scheduled a few weeks/months out.), and the results of what he had installed compared to what Affordable Fence and Gates installed for us is night and day. When my neighbors fence gives out, we wont hesitate to call these guys.

Ordered fencing and gate for sides of my house. Due to holidays and COVID delays, I had to wait two months for completion. It took three visits for the job to be finished due to a mistake measuring the gate & a few missing finishing items. However, Im satisfied with the cost & result. Affordable Fence and Gate did amazing work on a tough job (20% grade plus anchoring into bedrock). So tough that I had some contractors come out then never call me back. Not the case with AFG, called once and scheduled an evaluation. The technician who I also believe was the owner was right on time, evaluated the job, and got back to me very quickly with a bid. A bid that came in right in line with a few others I had received.Once I paid the deposit the work crew was here exactly when scheduled, were very friendly, completed the job on time, and were true craftsmen. The welds, the anchoring, the general quality of materials and installation were spot on.AFG was recommended by a friend and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a quality and beautiful fence.

My wife and I were extremely pleased with the work done by Daniel and Gus at Affordable Fence and Gate. They were friendly, efficient and competent. They removed our old termite-eaten wooden fence and put up 56 feet of new corrugated-steel fence in one day! And it looks great! I called twice and followed up with an email sending them all the pics and measurements they requested. Waste of time. They never got back to me even after I followed up. Im sure theyll respond to this negative review as they seem to do. Maybe thats how you get them to get back to you.ResponseI was specifically told not to schedule until I sent photos and measurements which I did. I followed up after to no avail. It sucks you have COVID problems, we all do, and you wasted my time and dont want to own up to it. I would have appreciated a review that warned me of the possibility of this happening as well as to see how you deal with these types of problems. Maybe reflect on the negative reviews and contact the poster to resolve the issue if youre going to spend the time figuring out who they are and addressing them directly in a response. Email or phone calls are a better communication tool for that.

We were very happy with the pool fencing that Affordable installed years ago, so we decided to use them again for a security door and side panel. The company was professional and easy to work with. The installers (Tanner and Avery) were on time, polite, and did a terrific job. They even re-keyed the lock for me. The door was beautiful and fit perfectly. The A Team of Andrei & Avery did a great job when they installed our pool fencing. Thorough, courteous, careful and skilled can all be used to describe their work. We got a very reasonable price, but the installation made it even better.

Will only work on entire systems including if they build the gate. They will not replace gate opener systems or work on anything they didnt install.

Affordable Gate did a great job in a timely manner. They installed two gates for our new home. One of the gates due to its unique design had some minor issues that were unforeseen at the time of the installation. Thankfully, Nick Tursi, was able to go above and beyond and came up with a very creative solution to the problem. The gates now work perfectly. It was a pleasure working with Affordable Gate and especially Nick Tursi. I would recommend them highly.

Avery & Andrei were so great installing my new fence in freezing cold weather. They did a great job they were thorough they cleaned up after themselves which is important to me and the fence looks absolutely beautiful. These two provide great customer service and are very fun to work with. They were very knowledgeable about their product and helpful with suggestions for me for upkeep.

Very nice door selection. We were able to design our own door by drawing a diagram. Customer service and communication was great before and after the install. Our installers Denyo F. and Zach P. did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend.

We had a 100 foot corrugated steel fence put on one side of our property, and a gate added to another area. Avery and Andrei were friendly and did a terrific job. A miscommunication meant that a small change was needed. The foreman, Jeremy, had a crew back out just a few days later to make the correction and it looks terrific. I will definitely use this company again.

Our screen door was completed exactly as promised. Our installers, Brandon and Jay, arrived on the dot of the time promised. They did a wonderful job installing our double security screen patio door. They cleaned up the work area and even put the patio furniture back in place. We are so pleased.

I had some wrought iron fence installed along with 2 large swinging driveway gates and a 16 rolling gate. The finished product looks exactly like I wanted. Communication was great every step of the way. The installers Daniel and Jason were very prompt showing up right on time. They were professional, friendly, and overall very pleasant to deal with. On the day of the install we realized there was a slight mistake with one of the gates due to a simple miscommunication. Daniel and Jason wasted no time getting my gate back to the shop so the fabricators could fix it. Then they were back bright and early the next morning to get my project finished. I love dealing with contractors who show up when they say they will and see a job through to completion. Thanks again, guys.

Love our final product. Installers Daniel Mares and Jerry Lemas were professional, helpful and competent in their work. They worked in the 110 degrees to complete the job, and they didn’t leave until we were completely satisfied. We will definitely use and refer Affordable Fence & Gate again.

We were very pleased with the finished product. Daniel and Nick arrived promptly and were very professional with our install. When a few little glitches popped up they handled them to our satisfaction. Have had friends look at our fence and gates and declare them beautiful. We just completely replaced the builder-blah fencing around our yard with ocotillo style fence and custom gates. It took a big of time and research to refine the design with Jeff, but the results are spectacular. Once everything was set, they showed up exactly on schedule and the install went perfectly. Special shout out to our installers, David M, Jesus J, and Jerry L. who moved rocks and bushes in the blistering heat and still managed to be super sweet (and clean up afterwords). Were very happy to have worked with AF&G.

I had new fence and gate installed on Tuesday and I am very happy with the result. It is a metal fence with a rusted patina that looks great. The installers Avery and Andrei were punctual, and professional.
