Bought a high output alternator from these guys. Works like a champ. Got my system back up and running. The mechman I bought never even output 12v. Only after the warranty ran out did they respond. Needless to say Ill be sending these guys that alternator to get repaired. They actually answer the phone and questions. Dont be afraid to give them a try.

An amazing facility ran by even better staff. I came in needing an uncommon alternator, they let me know that they had the components in stock and had to build it for me. Tucson Alternator has terrible customer service. They have a 3 year warranty because you can expect your alternator to work shortly after your warranty has ended before it breaks. They dont offer any assistance and will argue with you over the phone. Businesses like this, with employees who dont know how to speak to customers, who offer no assitance don’t deserve your hard earned money. There are more reputable places in Tucson to purchase QUALITY car parts from such as Merles. I guess you get what you pay for at the this place, cheap alternators and cheap service. If you enjoy throwing away money shop here!

Steve was really helpful when I arrived. He was able to get me my alternator for a great price and even checked my vehicle to make sure that it needed to be replaced. He also tested my battery and let me know that it was going bad. When I retired with my old alternator, he was just as helpful and I had let him know that I was able to get a new battery also. He then checked my battery and made sure that it was charging properly. They are great and if I ever need to, I will go back them and I will let anyone I know about them also.

Just got my high output alternator on my 2007 honda cr v last weekend. Immediately heard a difference in my system. I am planning to do some voltage testing and fine tuning with ground wires this weekend. Will revise after i get everything fine tuned.

Cool place. Good place to get higher quality parts than auto store cheap imports. Had a plunger and contacts in stock for me to rebuild a Denso starter. Saw the original owner come out from the back with dirty hands holding an unknown armature and explaining to the counter staff what they had to do to rebuild it to accurately charge for it. I like that guy.

These guys were amazing and so helpful! We called about an alternator and gave us the best price and quick service. We then went back for a battery and they gave us the most competitive price and installed it. They had great customer service.

Went to get a rebuilt alternator based off their advertised price. They did not have one in stock so i had them rebuild my original. I picked it up a week later (they were on time) i payed and it cost about $30 more then advertised price. The alternator died less then a week after installing. I took it back and they swaped the regulator at the desk (again good service) we instalked the alternator and it died immeaditly. I live 60 miles from Tucson so I said pisd on it and bought another one from oriellys...no problem yet. I appreciated their friendly behavior. But the price not matching the alternator failing twice. Has me not going back. Mine might have been a rare event but had to post honestly.

Purchased an alternator for my minivan. Better than OE and beat all the chain store prices. There was a small mix up with my core refund, which they were quick to correct. Happy to support a local business employing local people.

Ordered a Starter from this company online. Price was $95 and all the information was detailed to what they where selling it for online. Come to find out, it was brought to my attention that the starter I was purchasing online was not the right price, information, and picture. I asked them to honor the price online. The owners response was NO. A $20 dollar difference. 24 hours later they updated their website. It is sad to point out mistakes, which do happen, but proof read and check your items before you post them. Another thing is if you truly want peoples business and loyalty at least admit it was a mistake and give them the price which was posted. Strongly recommend not going to this business.

I bought an alternator from them and about a month later the alternator took a crap on me. So I called them and explain the situation they said bring the alternator down and he would exchange it for me. Best prices and great customer service. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

I went here bc a good friend told me about it and said he went here for an alternator. Just like everyone else I wanted to just go to AutoZone but I heard they have a little cheaper alternators. My car wasnt starting so i took it auto zone in which they lead me to believe my alternator was no good. I then contacted tucson alternator exchange and they helped me out tremendously not only did they let me know it wasnt my alternator and it was my starter ....but they refunded me for purchasing the alternator and fixed my problem at a great cost!!
