I usually don’t take the time to write reviews but I have to say that I had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful employee named Sandy. She was so sweet and helpful. If every employee was like Sandy, there would never be any bad reviews. It’s refreshing to meet people like her who just have a positive attitude.

Always love coming here, quick service, always stocked and rarely busy so its easy to shop.

I dropped 10k a year at this store for years. They are not getting another penny from me. They left spilled paint in the parking lot right at their front entrance for (I was told for 45 min) and I didnt see it. Nobody put a cone on it or anything. Long story short is took a manager 22 min to get to me. Her response no lie Why did you run over that paint? My new car was full of paint that dried in the amount of time it took for her to slow walk to me paging her several times...slow walking to tool rental to get me to a power washer. Totally didnt care about any of it. It is amazing how she is in management. later,....Store made me feel like I was in it for the money for the detailing. My new car will never be the same and I turned down their $50 bucks above and beyond the the detailing and 5 hours I wasted getting this off my car and a ruined 2021 car. I am on my way to buy AN $800 dryer and $600 door at another establishment. If I could save just one of you from buying anything at this store it would have been worth writing this review. Insult to injury I am replacing a the same door I got from them damaged years ago and my guy did not see it before he installed it. I have been living with a thier broken door for years.

Great store to get all your household project & work items from. Appliances, paint, plants, lumber & etc. Was there today..5/4/19 & they were very busy. They have more plants & garden supplies now; vegetable plants & herbs, more flowering plants & trees. Nice variety of items. Power equipment & grills also.

Cargo Van Rental - Renter Beware1. They start the clock before you get into the van so you already lose time of the clock2. Van was damaged but whatever2. Van went out over full, brought it back full. Because I didnt have a receipt they marked it out at 7/8 and charged me $10 something extra3. Only response I got for inconvenience was You started the car didnt ya? Must have used some gas didnt ya?

Like the rest of the world, severely understaffed. Went for new doors at 4:30pm on a Saturday and theres plenty of employees standing around chatting, but no one able to assist. The person who is there during the week has the color swatches for the doors locked in their drawer for some reason. No one else is able to help, said come during the week, which I cant. Waste of a trip.

I purchased a Ryobi 40v brushless mower. I need replacement blades and went to customer service for assistance. The guy told me that he didn’t know and I should look it myself since he would have to do the same so I might as well do it myself. My own fault for shopping at Home Depot and expecting anything more.

Large garden area, well stocked, friendly. In and out, had everything I needed, check out went quickly. Very nice.

Where to begin... i put in a special order. It was delayed. I had to keep calling to find out status. I was told it was in by several employees and a delivery date was all that needed to be coordinated. Did just that. On the day I was told it would be delivered, no delivery. I call the store they tell me the order is there but they can’t do anything about delivery because it is handled by a third party. I decide to go in and pick it up myself. On my way there I receive a call telling me the order is not there. How is it that 3 employees told me it was there and now I’m being told it’s not?The part that made the situation worst was how the “Assistant Manager” Loraina handled the situation. She was confrontational and rude. I asked to speak to the “Store Manager” and she said “I am it”. When we saw her tag I then asked for the name of the store manager and her response was “it’s public knowledge”. We decided to get our money back and have banned this store thanks to Loraina. Her nasty attitude belongs in the street and not at a store where you are given an Assistant Manager position. Management training is highly recommended for her to improve her people skills and learning to defuse a situation.

Dont buy any major appliances here. their delivery process is horrible and incompetent

The nice thing about home depot is the sheer amount of stuff there. However if you are looking for value dont come here. The wood prices are WAAY higher than any other plaxe and pretty much everything else is like this. However if you arent experiencedin carpentry/electrical/etc this is an amazing place. The staff are nice and will be able to help you get the parts you need for any job.

Ive been to many Home Depot stores before. But my first time to this one in Trumbull. This store is beautiful and its huge. Theres plenty of parking and the store was staffed with friendly and knowledgeable help on the Friday afternoon I was there. Plenty of parking. They had everything I eat looking for except gas cooktops only three. This is my go to Home Depot from now on.

Never buying appliances here again! We purchased a washer and dryer set and it was a nightmare trying to get these delivered due to an error on Home Depots end. Then they screwed up again and we couldnt get it installed. After countless phone calls and multiple people coming by we finally got everything up and running 2 months later. Fast forward now and shame on us we bought a dishwasher through them and dealing with the same issues. They asked my husband to come back into the store after sending him home to call someone because they couldnt manually enter a discount code at the store. Then they cancelled the delivery with the delivery company for some reason. So here we are again on the phone with 4 people so far. Save yourself the hassle and purchase your appliances elsewhere.

I was having trouble ordering appliances online because some items were back ordered. I tried calling the Home Depot Pro phone number and I was on hold for over 45 minutes and nobody answered the call. I decided to go to the Trumbull store. I went to the Pro Desk and I was helped by Cristina. Cristina is unbelievable. She was super helpful, patient and was able to process my order by substituting a few back ordered items with no issues.Thanks for the help!

This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Home Depot. Not only did they order me the wrong carpet, I was told it was the consumers responsibility to make sure it was ordered correctly. Then I call to get in touch with management. Said the manager would call me and never did. I called back again two days later. AGAIN, said management will call me back and NEVER did. I called a third time to cancel the order all together and stated management never called me and they claimed the manager states he called and left me a message which absolutely never happened. What a way to do business. Really goes to show you how much Trumbull Home Depot does not care about customer satisfaction. I will never shop at this Home Depot ever again. Will now be a Lowe’s customer. Not that Trumbull Home Depot will even care they lost business.

WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!! Purchased a log splitter in Sept 2018. Engine seized April 2020. Forget the fact the employees are rude and have no concept of customer service there is no recourse for repair or replacement even though I purchased the extended warranty for $200.00. I am being told it isnt Home Depots problem because its under than manufacturer warranty yet there are no repair facilities for the manufacture and they refuse to answer the phone or call back (and they are open). So then I ask the protection plan Home Depot sold me if I need to wait till September when it goes out of the manufacture warranty and was told no because its pre existing. Worthless!!!!!!

Its a perfectly good Home Depot. Bigger than some but not the biggest. They recently upgraded the registers. Pretty high-tech but you have to do it yourself.

Special ordered a front door in January. It is June as still waiting for someone to call. We asked if we could pick up, cancel, but cant even get a person to call back with answers. We are in the system whatever that means but out $1600. Installer first ill, then not installing, then retired. Since they had no one to install, manager said they would ship but after two conversations with manager (Billy), no one could tell us when.Finally went in to pick up June 27th only to find out the door was missing, no longer in the store. Six months of hassles before finally getting a refund.

Hardware store that is consistent country wide in the USA, has most of the DIY and trade items you could ever want for sorting out any property renovation.Just think I visit this place to much...

Only as a last resort. Shop local! Terrible customer service. They treat the workers terribly. If you do go be nice. Its not their fault they work for a horrible corporation...

Worst Home Depot experience. I dropped off my leaf blower to get fixed. Nobody told me it will take 3 weeks to even look at it. 3 weeks passed nobody did anything, Hav in tool repair is the worst. Do not get anything repaired there, their customer service is the worst too. I will have to escalate this to the store manager hoping for a better outcome.

During our bathroom remodel we ordered 2 items online. There were pick up problems with both. They told us that the shower door glass panel is the only box even though it says right on the box that it comes in 3 packages. On the phone yesterday one woman told me to call the company and tell they didnt include it, even though Home Depot called to tell me it was there, but just couldnt find it!

Caution! Bought a Schlage PLY COMBO deadbolt and entry MAXSEC DBolt. Dbolt broke 2 days later after multiple usage in the locked position. Could not reenter home. HD Trumbull store manager would not reconcile any of $260 for emergency locksmith. Was told I probably installed it wrong. Certainly not the scenario she assumed. Customer satisfaction at its worst! More spending, More dissatisfied customers!!

Ordered online today and selected express shipping at a cost of $79. Order was supposed to be delivered tomorrow feb 9th. Now my account states that order will ship Feb 10th. I called the store and they said they do not ship on weekends but when i ordered it stated Feb 9. Why did i pay $79 for items that i needed this weekend for a project and now I wont receive them.

Not enough registers opened in garden center. Two opened only one working correctly !! Annoying but got through it. They all want customers, but poor service. Guess they dont want you to leave!! Lol

Exactly what you would expect from a Home Depot. Great inventory helpful staff. The only reason for the 4 star review was that the service counter wait was extremely long during my last visit.On the plus side, given the location there is always ample parking.

One of the newest stores in CT. This one is clean and well organized. The staff seems to be a mix of experienced staff from other surrounding stores and new hires. Overall, this is a very good store. I tend to favor this one over the others near me for these reasons. Typically, its not as busy as Home Depot in Bridgeport or Fairfield.

Always helpful staff and a generous return policy. Sometimes the self checkout registers go on the fritz and the lines back up, but theres always someone nearby to help. Items without bar codes are a hassle. They probably should pay closer attention to the items that are getting bad online reviews and get them off the shelves.

I own a construction company and usually go to the Trumbull homedepot every morning to buy material. I like this store because of the organization, cleanliness and the staff, especially Patty from Pro Desk ..... She is THE BEST !!! ....... always ready to help, especially when I arrive with long material lists. Patty not only helps me with her efficiency and knowledge, but also helps me to save money on my purchases. How nice it would be if the other HomeDepot stores have people like Patty!!.....ohhh......I was forgetting to mention Cristine, who is also from the pro desk, super professional and very sweet ...... what a great team they make! ...... I been a Home Deport customer for years and normally would give a good rating overall BUT in this particular day 01/12/20 I was stopping by at Home Depot in Trumbull they are very disappointed me the most. compare to other around the area. I first walk in seems to me clean and see lots of staffs gathering around through out store as group of 2 or 3 talking each other. I was at electrical section and need help to cut wire although bunch of them sanding around talking but none pay attention to costumer if they need help or not. finally I asked one staff for help to cut a wire in which should take only 5 mn of his time instead being told will get someone to help. OK? 15 mn went by no one showing up and I kind of look at staffs still talking together on both sides of store STIIL get no reaction from those staffs if costumer needs help or not. and finally I see another staff on next two aisle up and asked him to help and being told give him a second, wait 5mn total this staff still looking at his handheld unit checking something else, instead just cut wire for me which would take 5 mn to do so he decided doing what he doing. NOW 20 MN by I decided to cut myself by using the device that they have set up there at wire section. so out of dial gage I pull out put through dial gage for 6 feet and cut and take a picture of the barcode for pricing when checking out to pay. and at the same time I decide to measure whey the six foot wire that I cut although gage shown six feet but when I manual measure is only little more than 5 feet. anyhow I would tell by the cashier on how much I got so they can re-measure it again if is correct. and at that moment a staff show up to assist me the one I been waiting for over 20mn and I told him on the wire length is incorrect although the gage shown 6 feet but actually only 5 feet and he told me since I cut the wire myself I have to pay by what the gage read. so he is about to write me a ticket for 6 feet to bring to cashier to pay and I told him is not right as he should write only 5 actual feet and he refuse to do so. as I try to explain to him the gage is give me a wrong measurement but he is not buying it although he knows for fact is short and then I ask him to as for the store manager in the situation and he is willing to do so. I know I got the case in which I will go by the fact and instead waiting for another 20mn or more for the manager for only a cents dispute I just you know what SCREW THIS YOU ARE SUCH A HARD HEAD F THIS STORE DROP THE WIRE AND WALKED OUT. this store start from beginning to the end nothing BUT ALL BAD EXPERIENCE.

Great store. Over a 2 year period I spent around $50,000 at this store for renovation/investment property upgrades. Maybe close to a 80 or so visits. Yes, this is a good store.

This is a great store! Home Depot in general is a good business since they actually care about their customers but this store in particular is great! Many of their employees are very helpful with questions or assistance and when we had an issue with a coupon we couldnt use (it wouldnt scan), the store manager called my fiancee back to ensure everything was made right (allowed us to use the coupon on the next purchase). Simple things like that can make a huge difference to customers! Compared with Lowes, Home Depot is a breath of fresh air and I will continue to do business with them and recommend my friends and family to do so as well.

Home Depot is like a toy store for grownups. I was thinking one of everything in the tool section andlots of other areas. Prices are most good and they give an additional 10 0/0 off for veterans even on sale items.

Paint departmart is amazing. Tile guy is helpful and knowledgeable when hes there. Everyone else is running around doing a great job of looking very busy. Im rarely asked if I need help.
