I visited to check Microsoft surface Pro 6 in display, I must say say Bestbuy is the only place that have large variety of laptops and other computer related items in display with the competitive deals. Staff was very nice, and supportive with adequate knowledge. This was the first Bestbuy store I visited and must recommend.

I checked the website for a specific router which was supposedly in stock at this location. I went to the store and couldnt find it in the area so I asked for assistance. 2 people were tasked with finding the product. Without a word, they both took off in different directions. I saw them searching high and low and thought i would wait in the router area so Id be easy to locate. 20 minutes go by and Im standing in this router aisle still waiting. I found one of the employees that was helping me in the cellular area discussing cell plans with another representative. I walked up to ask what happened and was told that, it must not be here. Sometimes the system doesnt report the right stock. Thats okay information. But how long was this person sitting on this tidbit of knowledge and why should I be the one to seek you out to get this vital update? This isnt the first time Ive been burned by an employee in the store. Theyre quick to offer assistance because its their job but the follow through is something to be desired. If I didnt need this router in a hurry, I would have waited for Amazon delivery.

The staff were very helpful, but some of the listings on the website are ambiguous. Best Buy needs to be very specific regarding an item you purchase from their website. Styles may vary should not be a part of your marketing strategy. There shouldnt be a mystery as to what item will be waiting for me when I drives miles to your store to pick up an online order.

I went there to buy the ring I asked for help from a sales associate he gave me the product one of the items were 29.99 when he brought tge items I bought that item rang up for 99.00 I went to go get the sticker I was told wrong item a rude manager then was called and then made it my fault when it was hes sales persons fault. I paid the 99.oo wasnt happy..very disappointed dissatisfied. Maybe best buy should retrain all employees and adjust managements Attitude when dealing with customers. I asked him why is this my problem its my problem it wasnt I should have received the price that was given not the $99.

Just a terribly managed and staffed store. Very uncharacteristic of the brand. I went there on a Thursday to spend $2k on a new TV. Couldnt get a single person to help. Walked out after 30 minutes. Ordered one online to be delivered to the Danbury store nearby but it wouldve been a week longer to get the TV so I ended up going back to the Trumbull store for curbside delivery. The employee who loaded the TV into my SUV didnt secure the cart and it rolled downhill denting and scratching my vehicle. I asked to speak to the manager (Brian) who took another 20 minutes or longer to come see me. He pulled some line about the security footage showing the dents were already there. I was parked in a position where no cameras were facing. Total BS.

Purchased a Refrigerator 3 wks. ago, it arrived damaged. We were told by the customer service department that if we refused it we would have to call the next day. Called the next day and was put on hold by multiple people, 45 minutes later a rep. picked up and offered us a gift card if we kept the damaged Refrigerator, what a joke! So finally a week later the new Refrigerator came damaged also. Guess what, we were put on hold and transferred for 3 1/2 hours between my husband and I trying to get through. Today, third time was a charm! No damaged Refrigerator, WILL NEVER BUY AN APPLIANCE FROM BEST BUY EVER AGAIN!!!!! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE.....

When we walked in to get our product from store pick up, there were no customers at all at curbside or store pick up so that incredibly lazy and incompetent lady at the pick up counter simply ignored the message to go out and bring our product. Unacceptable !!! Those lazy employees should be fired right away…

Visited three times in one week to buy a laptop. No one is available to unlock the case to give it to you. Dozens of employees are walking around and I get the feeling I am invisible . I ordered an item for curbside pickup. There were signs at the complex so it was easy to find the numbered spaces for parking. Once I filled out the form on my phone to let them know I was there, someone came out with my item in under 2 minutes. They made it so easy!

Staff was friendly. I needed to return a defective Bluetooth, with power cord, (I had the extended warranty). I wasnt asked questions about why it didnt work anymore. Since I had my original receipt emailed to me it was in their system. I didnt even have to find it among all my emails. Someone got it off the shelf and helped to pair it.

Best buy always get a good rating from me but on this visit....They are running on a limited staff. When you go in they ask you questions because they want to know what you are going in for. Hard to answer when half the time you go you are not sure & you rely on seeing things to remind yourself. I was looking for PC parts & it was all nearly gone. Was hardly anything to buy. Covid has definitely affected things negatively here.Usually though they are full stocked & faced.

Like always, it was a good experience. One of the favorite places for tech guys like me. Went inside to geeksquad to donate/recycle old mice and keyboards my office wanted to throw away. For those that dont know, bestbuy recycle old electronics for free. Ex: mouse, keyboard, routers, switches, desktops laptops, phones, tablets, etc. They also recycle monitors but they do charge a fee.

Went to pick up a watch I ordered online. There was only 4 people working at the store and it was beyond busy. The guy Hector who was the one who had the orders was beyond rude to the point where a lady in line even made a comment to me about it. I did receive $50 off due to the inconvenience but that is no way to treat someone. The female working there was awesome and everyone should learn from her.

Left after 45 minutes of being on the waiting list and no on came to help. Waited the entire time in the store to be helped. I thought someone was going to show up in the department I needed help in but no one came. I went to talk to the associate at the door and he told me my time was expired and I had to renew being on the waitlist to wait another 30 minutes. I usually shop at alternative electronic stores online and will continue to do so. Peoples time should not be taken for granted.

Hey it was a pretty typical Best Buy, if you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all! Everyone I interacted with was really nice which was great. There was a customer who only was holding an old napkin in front of their mouth instead of a mask, which really didn’t feel like it was doing any good. Oh well I guess there’s people like that everywhere. If you’re in the area stop on by!

Bestbuy has grown and learned to adopt to compete with online for sales. It has worked as I have been going there and making manu purchases that i first attempted to make online from other places. Now, they are competitive in 4K discs and they priced matched on a TV to get me to buy from them. Im surprised that i keep coming back, when Ive been shopping online and from catalogs since the late 80s.

Visited mid-day. Floor assistance was a little thin. I was able to get help right away but others had to queue up. Assistance was very good though. At this time (Oct 2020) products on the shelf were more sparse than on pre-pandemic visits. Was able to get a good deal on a camcorder equaling online deals without asking.

Ive had positive interactions with the folks at BBY Norwalk, CT, and Okemos, MI, during the pandemic. They genuinely appreciated the business as well as the in-person exchange.My experience with two specific employees at the Trumball, CT, store recently was the exact opposite. I left the store feeling as if I did something wrong and that I was an inconvenience to those folks.After saving up for several months, I ordered a brand new laptop for in-store pick up because I did not want it to go through the possible bumps and bruises during shipping.I waited in line patiently for 15+ mins for somebody to finally come to assist me and the elderly lady in front of me. This is totally fine because of short staffing to account for the slower foot traffic during this unusual time.When its finally my turn, I stepped up enthusiastically like a kid whos about to get his new toy. The BBY employee scanned my receipt and went off to grab the laptop.After she got back, the check out process continued normally until she DROPPED the laptop behind the register! She was half dangling it off the counter while processing the checkout and not holding it securely because of what appeared to be concerns for her nails.She picked up the laptop off the floor and proceeded to hand it to me, business as usual. Her statement of our store has cushioned floor was her attempt to normalize the situation and reassure me that everything was fine.Really? I would have thought that its a basic courtesy to offer the customer with the option to grab another one in the stores inventory.I spoke up and asked her to check for another one in stock. She grudgingly obliged, dragged her feet towards the PC section for an exchange, and gave me the look.Minutes passed and she came back. This time another employee / manager, with the build of a bar bouncer holding the other laptop in his hands, joined her. They walked passed me as if I didnt exist, placed the product on the counter, telling me that Im good to go while walking away like a WR making a back shoulder catch. No offer to double check the product, no eye contact, no apologies for the inconvenience. What there was plenty of was INTIMIDATION. As if they dared me to speak up again.No sir, no maam. This is not an acceptable behavior and this is no way to treat anyone.If you drop my brand new laptop that I paid for with hard earned money, go grab another one on the double. No apologies needed but...Please do not intimidate me.Please do not be rude.Please just do your job right.

I went to this best buy to get a refrigerator and an open box stove and that they wouldnt show me after I bought it I waited 2 hours outside with my truck and when i brought it home it was all dirty and greasy I played to much for an open box stove and it looked almost a year used. I try calling and talking and I think it needs a better managers and supervisors. I am a regular customer of best buy and this is not the service I expected.

A 5 star shout out, should be 10 stars to all the Associates and Consultants at the Trumbull Best Buy. I a novice in the electronic technologies today, have purchased five separate items since late July; a laptop, surge protector, keyboard and mouse combo, earphones, and now a new 5G phone. I had excellent direct interaction experience with several different associates and consultants.Two of the Associates and Consultants were better than 10 STARS. Jasmine D. and Marcella!Sales Consultant Jasmine D. is knowledgeable, friendly, patiently, and helpful, not only to me, but in successful interaction with at least 3 AT&T Costumer Service Representatives.Jasmine was canceling my original order so to reorder what I wanted. There was some to be expected confusion between all parties, myself included, Jasmine D. was transfered back and forth between AT&T Representatives. Took extra time, was admittedly confusing. And Jasmine D. navigated successfully and cheerfully the whole way, while also helping other costumers and coworkers of Best Buy.Marcella of the GEEK SQUAD, super job, coordinating and on top of everything GEEK SQUAD all around and also through out the store. Again making everything super easy, comfortable, educational, informative, helpful, and as with Jasmine, all while being super happy and excited to be helping. Great service! Guy at door greeted me asked me what I wanted, and pointed me exactly to the spot (how he knew where a usb Wi-Fi card would be I have no idea). Then cashier was using two registers as he is faster than the register! Great service. This is why Best Buy survived while others failed.
