Ryan is very genuine. I had a specific trouble and he gave multiple options . The issue resolved with lowest cost. This guys knows stuff and the way he talks about issue shows he is experienced with the smartphone issues

Ryan, at the Troy location, was very friendly, knowledgeable and upbeat on the phone and in person. He replaced an iPhone 7 battery in about ten minutes. He also answered other questions I had about my phone. The price was very reasonable. Facility followed great COVID precautions also. I went here because of the 5 star reviews. Im guessing the good reviews were from friends, family and employees. I was shocked at how bad the service was. I ordered a new screen for my Google Pixel phone and put down an $85 deposit. Before the screen came in my insurance company said the phone was not repairable and sent me a brand new phone. I called yesterday to get my $85 deposit back and the guy said theyd have to keep $25 as a service fee. I called today to get my $60 back and the owner, Ryan, said the people I dealt with before were all fired and he was not giving me my $85 back. So, I went in to pick up the screen and when I got there he said I would have to give him another $25 to get the screen. I asked if I could put the $85 toward another service, and he said no. So, basically I was ripped off. He kept my money and the screen, and he was incredibly rude about it. The customer service alone would be enough to keep me away.Avoid being scammed, go somewhere else.

I had an awesome experience with this company! Out of all of the phone stores I browsed to get my screen fixed this one has the fairest prices! They were super professional and knew what they were doing! It didn’t take too long at all so I wasn’t without a phone for half a day and my phone was back in its best condition! I’m beyond grateful and I’ll be back for all my phone repair needs (although I hope I never need my phone repaired again lol)

Very happy with my visit today. My iPhone had developed a very annoying problem with the power connector which was quickly diagnosed and fixed on the spot (it was full of lint!). Best thing was the young man at the counter did not make me feel stupid...even tho in this case, its true!Also needed a screen cover replacement which he accomplished quickly and at a very reasonable price. Replaced my iphone 7 screen. The screen wasn’t actually broke, it was a hardware failure.I paid extra $10 because there was a hardware needed to be replaced in addition to the screen.You need to keep in mind the price isn’t for Apple screen. This screen is a third party screen-poor brightness and poor display when looking from an angle (see picture).The replace was quick and efficient.I feel the assessment of the defect is not fair. Meaning, they may likely get you to replace the screen and not attempt to help with different, possibly cheaper solutions. And here is why: within 1 day of replacing my screen, I noticed a defect in the 3D functionality when typing the letter close to the side of the screen where 3D, if used, would activate multiple screens. The second I touch the button for all caps, the 3 D activates.When told them about it, the guy said, before even touching my phone, that the screen needs replacement. However, when I then said I am still within the 30 days warranty period, he then checked the screen phone and actually decided that even if the screen where to be replaced, it won’t likely fix the problem. I ended up just turning 3D screen option off.It just bothers me that he changed his, rushed, assessment when knowing it was not going to be a new customer! I am afraid they just rush into replacing all screens regardless of the reason for the defect.

The price to fix my iPhone 6 was very convenient considering I’m a broke college student. It didn’t take very long at all, and the customer service was like no other! Great. They did a complicated battery replacement on my Moto E2 quickly, and less expensive than I assumed. Talkee to one employee in the phone, and another at the store the next day. Both were curtious and helpful. Hint. If your Moto is shutting down at ~75%, get a new battery installed. Mine was a little swollen too.

I generally like to acknowledge when I have a good experience. Just as a background, I usually fix my own iPhones, Computers, Cars, Appliances, etc. So, Im pretty critical of most repair places or people.Well, I had a water damaged iPhone 6S with at least a bad screen, and I broke one of my good iPhones swapping parts to determine what was wrong. I found out that Metro Detroit Phone Repair in Troy was the same cost as if I repaired the phone myself, I didnt have to pay shipping cost, or wait a couple of days for parts.I was pleasantly surprised. Josh was not pushy, he only fixed what I needed, the repair was fast and efficient. My iphone6s screen was broken and asked them to replace one. I chose one refurbished OEM screen they provided, which was more expensive than third party, but hopefully better as well. The cost was much less than what Apple asked, yet still more than if you bought a set from Amazon or so and replace yourself.It took around 20 mins to get the job done; No appointment, just first come first serve.The installation was perfect, it is no way to find out it was a replaced screen by just looking at it.The back light was slightly different frombefore, I can tell, but I guess thats what the best you can expect from a refurbished one.One month has passed, no problem found. Home button works well, camera works well, touch screen tracks as well as the original one. Very satisfied.

Save your money. Don’t go. Cheap screens, first one was defect. Waited for them to put another one on. Second one had issues within 24 hours, claimed it was a physical defect. Never again.
