Had a perishable load to deliver. Had a 0730 appt and was unloaded by 0930. Large area for backing into doors with staging area for perishable loads on Hansen st. No complaints. Been to a lot worse.

Checking in was easy. They do have overnight parking depending what youre hauling. For produce, meat and fresh goods, they do have a staging area. For frozen goods (the other side) they have parking (at your own risk) on the side of the road.

Waited 3 hours for a door. 6 to get unloaded. Total hours in the trash 9. Waste of my day. Portable bathrooms are a mess.

You will be here for hours! No matter what time you come. I’ve been here 2 hours before my appt didn’t get a door until 2 hours after my appt and then an extra 2 hours to get offloaded and an extra hour to get paperwork. Avoid this place at all costs! The staff here is rude and always seems to be in a bad mood. The girls that handle your paperwork don’t care about truck drivers. Cant blame them tho, minimum wage jobs usually have people giving minimum effort.

Safeway too bad. …8 hrs plus they give the dock nd unload the trailer. Very bad. !!!!

Safeway has a problem getn trucks unloaded. Even if you have an appointment. Ive been in that place up to 7-hrs one time, waitn to be unloadd. I go in there 2-3 times a week,...I have yet to get out of there in less than 4-hrs. Its ridiculous the way that unloadn service is there!!!

Not bad. Nice enough, didnt wait too long for a door. Took 2 1/2 hrs. Big staging area, easy manuevering to dock.

Worst place ever 14 pallets 9hrs. Dont go unless you can spend the night. I have seen it like this for the past 7 yrs.... nothing has changed.

Definitely no hurry to get you your paperwork. Smooth check in though. Large dock area for easy maneuvering.

We checked in at 7:50 AM and out the gate at 11:15 AM so over all this place was excellent with us !

Ok lest talk about delivery’s here the lumpers are fuiucking slow. If you come here be ready to burn at least 6 hours.

Takes longer to leave after getting unloaded, than the whole process of checking in and unload combined. better of refusing to do business with safeway

This place absolutely sucks I checked in at midnight for a 0200 appointment here it is 0500 and still in the bullpen drivers stay away refuse there loads I have five pallets not even knee high that’s it

Produce load enter thru Hansen Rd. Park and take your bills to lumper before your appt time....otherwise you will be paying $500 late fine. 5hrs min waiting

Went to the first entrance security was nice told me I had to check in around back through the other entrance. Staging area for check in is a mess. Check in people were kind of rude, lumper payments girls are not the vibe. Took for ever to unload about 5 hours. Plenty of backing space

Had an appointment time was unloaded for 5.5hrs until I finally had gotten my bills

This time they improved alot get dock on appointment and got paperwork within 2:40 min full load

Checked in 2.5 hrs prior to appointment. Got door 1 hr. 4 hours at dock. Total 5 hours. They have lumper fees.

Absolute worst receiver in California. Dont plan your day they will be handling that for you.

2 am appt got dock at 6:00 no matter the day you will get your dock assigned 4 hours after you orignal app time

Produce side Receiving is Super Bad, they don’t care if you have appointment and if you checked in before appointment time, they should learn from Costco how to handle Distribution Centers

Frozen meat load in and out in 2 hrs. Enter staging area on Hansen. Can only be there 2 hrs before appointment time. Go to guard shack to check in. Exit by going right out of door and around building.WARNING: despite all the signage to wear a mask, I did not see a single Safeway contractor/employee wearing one. Only a few who seem to think covering their neck and chin is the way to do it. No wonder why California is so infested with covid-19.

The only thing i hated is you have to visit them 5 times, 2 times to the guard shack then 3 times to the office, you can’t really sleep if you’re delivering here at night. appointment was at 1:30am checked in at 12:30am and was out at 4:05am.

What kind of place gives you a green light when theyre not ready for you to leave? Avoid this place at all costs.

Huge complex. Went through wrong gate, guard waved us in but wouldnt talk to me. Went to a receiving door, wrong one. Then went in to get my paperwork when they were done. I checked back when they told me to. I gave her my dock number. She said it would be another 15 minutes. I was standing six feet in front of the window and the lady was calling me on my phone to tell me to come back to the office.

Took 8 hrs to unload and was to could park overnight then 30 minutes later was told to leave premises what a joke

Ok so from what I gather all appointment are set around the same time so it doesnt matter what time you really get here then they give everyone a door starting around 6 they will start at the lower dock end and work there way or they are given a section to work and they use hand carts to offload this is on dry side

It is a bit slow and most importantly there is almost no signal for cell phones
