I had a great experience here at BMW of Towson! I was a first time car buyer, and let me tell you JESSE was phenomenal!!! He answered all my questions, and answered all my calls. He was on top of everything. I’m from Atlanta, and he made sure the car didn’t sell to anyone else. He suggested some great places to eat when I arrived. He also suggested a great place to go to when I arrived before the dealership opened. If you want a great experience I definitely suggest asking for Jesse!! Tanya was the finance manager, and she was super educated! Even though it was a cash deal she did what she was supposed to without being mad that she was doing work, and not getting paid! She was super nice. Terry the sales manager was pretty strict, but I don’t blame him he was just doing his job; funny guy though we got along towards the end. If you are looking for a great experience take my word for it ask for JESSE! He was super professional, and gained a friend in a different state. He is super easy to talk to! Trust me, and do yourself a favor and ask for Jesse!

Scheduled an appointment for an oil change advertised for $129 for my 2016 BMW. When I arrived, dealer said I should also have a few other services performed ( micro cabin air filters, brake fluid flush, and a vehicle check) In total the cost would be $1000. The “other” services that they said were needed are way overpriced and very minor. In addition, they said they would not turn off the service indicator light unless I had all the services performed. Not a BMW policy, just the dealership policy. I just took my key back and said no thank you!This dealer is a rip off!Update 10/20/21The rest of the story. Today, I had all of the services noted above performed by Hunt Valley Eurocar. The total cost was $271, compared to the $1000 quoted by Towson BMW. I always knew that the service cost at a dealer was more. What I didn’t know was that it was more than 3 times the cost for the same work performed by a local quality auto repair shop.True story.

The car was not ready on Day 1 but I did not receive a call until late in the day and only after I had left messages earlier on 2 occasions. Then despite assurances that it would be ready early the next day, I did not receive a call until around 1:30 or so and only after I left 2 more messages earlier in the day. Communication was not great, to say the least. And of course all work there is extremely expensive. When paying those prices, you expect more proactive and responsive service.

I get the car sales industry is driven by commissions and is therefore competitive. As a serious buyer I was completely turned off by Anthony who felt the need to deny my access to view and test drive vehicles on a day that I had available simply because he was “off” that day. Not willing to give my information to another salesperson, questioning my seriousness in buying and that I have to be respectful of the other sales peoples schedules? This behavior has caused me to have to look elsewhere. Money and future clientele lost for this company because of this sales man...
Great communication. Easy to book online. Liked the video diagnostic tool they use. Wish my car had been vacuumed out- thats my only complaint.
Oh how things have changed since COVID. When I brought my car in for service I had no idea I needed an appointment I just came early like I always did, when asked if I had an appointment I said no, but the service agent spoke to Derrick and they took care of me. I had no idea loaners were no longer possible, but they were able to get me a lift ride home. On the way home I thought about how BMW must be changing like the rest of the world. I’ve never had to leave my car for 4 days for service 1 or 2 days at the most and I was totally unprepared. My service rep Derrick kept me informed and did the best he could to work with the car repair service I’d purchased to help keep the price down. It’s not an easy job working with the public, but some people are born for the job, thanks Derrick, you made this crazy time a little less stressful. Please stay safe!
Towson BMW service is always professional. Unbeknownst to me my Service Rep was no longer there. I spoke to the Servicer Manager who asked to meet with a Trainee Service Rep who was being mentored by a Senior Rep. the experience was excellent which is why I return to BMW of Towson. I
Ive been doing multiple services here. Last time they performed a poor alignment, and now I have to replace all the damaged tires. And whats worse is that my service advisor resigned during the service, and there is no notificiation at all. I had to call to ask what happened after multiple days of no reply.Thats an unfortunate event, but they could do better on customer service. Could do something simple like sending an email instead of ignoring.

After having had bad experiences with BMW service departments previously, I had been going to an unaffiliated mechanic for years. But I had an issue that only the dealer could fix, so I begrudgingly went to BMW Towson. Pleasantly surprised. My service manager, Derrick, was helpful, friendly, and responsive, and I appreciated the 3-minute video they took of my car to explain its issues (and the fact that they didn’t try to sell service I didn’t need; if a certain component was in good shape, they said so). Four stars instead of five because despite scheduling my appointment well in advance, there were no loaners and I was told it was due to a car shortage, although I saw plenty of other customers with them. And my office was outside of their 10-mile Lyft radius, so I had to arrange for alternate transportation, which was frustrating since that’s supposed to be part of what you pay for.

Jim G did an outstanding job getting me in to have a tire changed that blue after hitting a pothole. I’ve had tire and rim insurance since I bought the car almost 5 years ago. But Jim was the first to explain that the coverage included taking out the scratches on the wheels.
I have been servicing my BMW M3 at BMW of Towson for the last year. I have been very satisfied with the service. Terrence my service adviser has been very helpful and professional. Loner is readily available and I really like the video I receive from the technician showing me the car and the work done.
Good service and absolutely love the pickup and delivery option for service. This service allowed me to not miss any time from work and be at home while they did their work. Carlos is very personable and friendly. Terrence communicates well what’s going on with the process.

I am a repeat customer and I have to tell you - driving to Towson is worth the drive! Tyler found me the unicorn- a current year model with low mileage. He was so helpful in running all sorts of numbers for me- he was not pushy- and he kept me in the back of his mind so when the perfect car DID show up in inventory- he had it diverted to Towson for me. Great customer service!

Clean, fast & friendly. For a Saturday appointment I had no issues getting in & out. They had plenty of refreshments, & the seating area was comfortable. Funny the other dealership tried to charge me for a issues that all X5/X3 have.
Over the top helpful. Beside the normal car selling stuff (taking care of trade in, nice long test drive over different types of roads, full orientation to features too numerous to count, thorough search online for best protection packages) they added new plates to replace non-transferable plates plus by-the-book disposal of old ones so insurance could be canceled, and transfer of EZ pass, which I had totally forgotten. Good catch Alex.
I just moved to the area from DC and am extremely happy with every aspect of the service at Towson of BMW! The video walk through of their inspection was particularly helpful!
I was pleased with the work provided but I was told that the oil change special did not come with the key reset. I was told the oil change with the reset was $104 which I was okay with instead of the special price of $69. Along with the diagnostic for $159. When I got my bill I was charged separate for the oil change and the reset along with the diagnostic. I had to pay $356 which was unexpected and a rip off. I have been to other dealerships and when you bring your car in for the oil change they automatically reset your car all for $100. I will never bring my car to this dealership again. Be aware of this they will try to slide extras on you that other places provide for free
My vehicle had several issues I was unaware of. The service advisor explained in detail the issues and showed me via video what they were. Very much appreciated.

Aside from friendly and down to earth, the service was quick and smooth. Jim was personable and very efficient in helping us deal with our insurance. The shop itself is always a well oil machine. Repairs were quick, the loaner car was easy to get, and the return and pay process was quick. I would never go anywhere else for our BMW.
The Best customer service came from Derek. He kept me in the loop with consistent updates. He made me feel like I was apart of the family. I received text messages along with phone calls. I was welcome from the time I walked in until the completion of my vehicle. I would recommend this location to all.

My experience at this location was terrible. I took my bmw gt to get serviced and the service center agent was very negative from start to finish about my vehicle. I reported him to the gm and was told that the wait for my vehicle would be 2 hours. 3 hours later I returned to the same gentleman to ask him about the status of my vehicle. I was told that my car had not been worked on yet and that everyone was out to lunch. I am very dissatisfied and will not be returning to this location. My time is precious and it was wasted. This has been the worst experience at a BMW dealer.
Great experience today. One year anniversary from production date therefore needed an oil change. Loaner vehicle was ready within minutes. Terrence is a fantastic Advisor. Rich is out on the floor interacting with employees and customers. Good people.
Had an appointment first thing in the morning for what I thought would be a quick reprogram/software update fix. Called back 6 hours later to check on the status and was informed it was in the shop and they were taking a look to figure out the issue hopefully within the hour. Car was ready 3 hours later. Fortunately I was working from home and did not need my car but had I known it would take that long I would have made a later appointment.Issue was completely resolved and they get an overall 4 stars since there was complimentary Lyft service to take me home and back to the service center afterwards. They also put my car through the car wash and it smelled like grape soda afterwards so that was great! Would recommend, but be wary of a long wait.

This was the best and seamless car buying experience Ive had. Tyler was exceptional, knowledgeable, and flexible. I found the car online, live out of state, and was still treated like I walked into the dealership in person. Tyler even took a video walk around of the car and sent it to me. Hands down one of the best. Cant recommend BMW of Towson and Tyler enough.

Dropped my car off on Sunday. I suspected a tire needed to be replaced. Its now 530 Monday evening and Im still waiting for a TIRE replacement!I would have appreciated being told this morning that they werent going to get it done today. I could have taken the car and bought it back another day
I took my BMW in for service. Blake Dumas was my advisor he was very kind and respectful of my needs explained everything that needed to be done alone with the prices of everything. I was very surprised it didnt cost more. However I am very grateful it was less then what I had anticipated. My vehicle technician was Joe Driscoll he was great as well he sent me a video as to the services he was doing on my vehicle which was very cool to see. I am a very happy customer. Thank you
Back in January I visited the dealership and found a car that was close to what I wanted. I worked with a young, professional salesperson named Alex Goff. There were a few other options I wanted on my car so we left that day knowing that Alex would do a search for a car that could be brought in. It turns out there were none here in the US that had the features I wanted so I went back and Alex took me through the process of ordering the exact car, built to my spec. The wait was about what they promised and Alex sent me updates along the way. It arrived this week so they got it prepped and I took delivery. Overall, a very pleasant and positive experience and I would recommend the dealership, and my salesman, to anyone wanting a new BMW. Well done.
I had an incredibly poor sales experience here. I came to test drive an M4 and had no issues what so ever. My sales person was nice and respectful. They offered to value my car for a trade in to put towards the M4. I gave them info about my car, and my keys for them to take a look to make sure it was in good condition. Fast forward 15 minutes, I am sitting in the dealer and hear my car start up in the parking lot, and then I hear it being revved. I walked out to my car and asked them to please not start my car without my permission, especially by someone I have not met or talked to yet. I understand it is important to look at a car to give it an appropriate value, but it is incredibly disrespectful to get into my car, start it, and start revving it like its some toy. A BMW M dealership of all should understand that owners of nice cars take great care of them, and expect that same care to be given when at a dealership. Its not difficult to ask a simple question like, hey, is it okay if we start the car to make sure it runs fine?. My car isnt a toy to play with and id expect a dealer of this size to understand customers want their cars treated with respect. The only reason I am not leaving a 1 star review is because my salesman was respectful, while the sales manager and team was not.
I appreciate the overall services provided by Levori and Kirk. They know what they are doing and I didn’t feel taken advantage of. They listened to what my needs were and again I am truly appreciative.
I brought car in for all 4 tires having low pressure at once & was told that 1 had a nail & needed replace. Advisor Yoni was very nice and told me tire was covered except for $50 deductible and oil change was also due so I approved both. I did not read details of service statement before signing, which cashier snottily pointed out to me when I balked at her $500+ Bill. BMW had not applied warranty coverage, but even when she fixed that, the bill was still over $200. Why? Because a $100+ “Scope & reset” charge had been added. My bad for not reading details. BMW’s bad for only pointing out select costs and not mentioning other expenses. Was the scope & reset even mandatory? If so - why not tell me?

If you are considering BMW for your next car purchase, I recommend BMW of Towson. I had a good, positive experience from the first day I walked into the showroom, unexpected, and if Tyler is typical of their sales force (I suspect he is), you should too. I went in with a particular model in mind, and was given pointed information, from the first question, thru a test drive, and then thru the ordering process. When I expressed my understanding and basis for certain choices, I got validation without any attempt to up-sell. When the vehicle was delivered it was impressively presented, and within an hour I was on the road.
Upon entering this dealership, the manager came out and introduce me to the sales person John VanBuren. John VanBuren is the guy you want on the sales floor, so professional yet non pushy and the best part, was able to work magic with the numbers for me. THANK YOU JOHN, love the car man. The dealership manager came out and congratulate me before leaving.This place has class and great sales team. We had amazing experience with Alex Goff from start to finish, great costumer service, very patient, answered and explained many questions I had, quick response, showed great knowledge about car, showed us few very cool features about 2021 X6 that I was unaware, I did a lot of reading and search about this model, I am not new with luxury cars and its features, but I could clearly feel and see Alex was willing to show my husband and I all of the features car has to offer which was nice to see ...Car was already ready prior our arrival, paperwork was easy and quick .He is Great Asset to BMW and manager should be very happy and grateful to have such great sales person as Alex working in this Location!Thank you Alex and I am very excited about my purchase and so far this car exceeding my expectations . Everyone was very courteous. But I don’t understand why an oil change took two hours and cost $250. I could have gone to Jiffy live for half the price and a half hour wait. I would have missed the comfy surroundings sure. But it would have been a fair trade.

Still waiting on my car. This rating is actually for the customer lounge...its terrible! BMW can do better. Only powdered creamer for the coffee, exactly one flavor of tea bag in a box that has 8 slots, and a scarcely stocked fridge with generic water and canned sodas...and I dont drink soda. BMW can do better!
Everyone here is so great! Derrick (Edwards) was so nice and helped me take care of mystery alerts and sensor warnings on my i3. He worked around my schedule and, within 48 hrs of my appointment, I had my car back. I was also provided with a loaner while they diagnosed and serviced my vehicle. The loaner desk staff were amazing and very cordial (at both pick up and drop off), and paying/picking up my car was so easy. I loved the use of texting and emailing me updates. It was so helpful. They also sent me video footage of the inspection and diagnosis process. Basically, I knew I was in good hands from start to finish. Love these guys!!! I am new to the Towson area, so this is my first time using this location. My previous dealership (I’ll just say it’s in the DC-Metro area) was not nearly as amazing!! I mean, they were good and nice enough, but the Towson team provides a whole new level of service and support. I will definitely be back — for any future car maintenance AND to purchase my next vehicle!!
