Wonderful store. Hasn’t been upgraded in years but doesn’t affect the functionality of the store. Associates were kind and helpful. Wonderful selection of clothing. I love the hunt of J.C. Penney and finding there cheap clearance clothes. It’s like a scavenger hunter. So sad to see this store close. There won’t be much left for clothing stores in Torrington very disappointed. Lovely store lovely employees.

Friendly staff, convenient location with ample parking. Great sales. Limited selection/quantities due to smaller sized store. However, its great to have store pickup, for most items online, within 3 days.

Lovely, professional salesladies!! Nice quality items at a reasonable price. Dont usually shop this time of year because the stores are crazy, but had a great experience tonight!

The store is well kept however, they have a very limited selection of clothing. The staff basically ignores you so if you want help, dont bother going here.

Always a great experience at JCPenney. Today I went to get a suit for my son for prom and had immense help from an associate named Zack. Made our day!

Its permanently closed as of October 18th, 2020.

Very friendly staff, I got a nice umbrella here and it has lasted me a year or so, so far but it is yet to have any signs of damages, and is easy to hold.

Store has a lot in a small space. Has a range of clothing types, but not a large plus size section or shoe section.

Store was a dump.. Employees treated me like i was a criminal and followed me around...so i went and speny my 150 dollars on cloth elsewhere

Penney is really going down hill on the quality of clothes they are carrying. All I can say is Im disappointed.
