Whom ever answers the phones is extremely rude. I called a few times just to ask questions due to the fact Ive never been there and honestly just by the way they spoke to me made it very clear I will never do business there. At the end of the day youre in customer service...maybe treat people with a little of a friendly attitude.In response to your reply::Well mine was a question about prices on piercings because everywhere is different so I figured Id call and both people i spoke with were extremely rude for no reason and talked to me like my business or question was a bother. I understand it may get frustrating answering questions but at the end of the day youre a business and thats so unprofessional. Just do better.

I’ve gotten two piercings here and the piercer is professional and safe. Not to mention the vibe of the whole place is definitely something me and my partner love coming to every time we visit. Definitely our favorite small business around.

Love this place. If you want a clean and safe place to get your piercing done this is your place. Very clean and gets cleaned right after you are done and before you go into the room.. Staff were very friendly. I got my nose pierced and Jessie was so nice and caring and gentle. My niece also ended up getting a piercing and she was very happy. I already have plans on going back to get more piercings done with Jessie.

This store is just amazing! Its super clean, the staff is hella friendly and knowledgeable. They have a wide variety of different products to choose from, not the every day items you see in most stores so its a breath of fresh air. Loved it and I definitely will be back again soon (hopefully to get a piercing, Ill let you know how that goes)!

The guy that works here needs a crash course in talking to people... rude, short, snappy.. wanted to leave the moment I walked in.Just look at the response everyone!!! That must be the creepy looking owner with an attitude problem.

Wasteland Gift Shop is a great little store, the lady who works there most of the time is a great help, she usually always has all the answers to store related questions and if she doesnt she will find out, and she is ALWAYS cheery and respectful. Those things alone, and of course along with the great inventory and available products earns this store a definitive 5 stars from me!Thanks wasteland for not being an actual wasteland lol

This Torrington alt-lifestyle staple has been around for a while. Its worth a stop and look because, honestly, they have some great prices on some items. They have an eclectic mix of hippie, grunge, nomad, rocker, soft punk, et al that will take you through generations in about five minutes. They do body piercing, and its a little sketchy at first, and a bit scary (the piercer can be a little brusque), but in the end, its professional and clean and when its over, youll be pleased with the results. Piercing prices arent bad, giving you room to leave a nice tip. Call ahead or stop in person to make an appointment, though if youre lucky, sometimes walk-ins hit the jackpot and go straight to the chair for new jewelry.

Not impressed with the quality of service but spent a couple bucks anyway. I lost the back to my cartilage piercing. Being novice to cartilage piercings I was looking for more help and info than was openly offered. I asked some questions and the attendant was minimally responsive, slightly annoyed with me. The whole vibe felt like I was a waste of their time. I just got my stuff and got out. Probably wont go back unless I cant get the help I need elsewhere.

Stopped in to see if they carry crystals, Altar candles and other witchy things. They did have a very small selection. Carrie was patient and accommodating... I just would like to see more witchcraft oriented things here, it would be nice to have somewhere local to shop for my supplies🙂

Got my belly button & daith pierced the other day by Jess who seemed very knowledgeable & experienced. She was so gentle with the piercings, & the piercing room was very clean (also zero pain on either the following day). I couldnt be happier with the experience & have already referred a few friends who were looking for a nice piercing place!

I walked in and the first thing I heard was a baby crying and an angry man yelling and swearing in the back room. Very disturbing. I noticed also none of the employees are wearing masks and are totally okay with spreading Covid to people. Great. Also the woman who cashed me out was very rude and didn’t say a word to me the entire time. I asked if I could see the black earrings and she took them out to show me but glared at me the whole time without saying a word to me. All the while the man in the back room is still swearing and yelling and the baby is still screaming bloody murder in the back. I couldn’t wait to get out of there.

They are very bad for business the lady working there knowingly sold me broken gauges and when I asked if I can exchange them and pay more for the difference she said all sales are final with an attitude like she got me and she knows it. Very unprofessional then week later the owner who wasnt there and who likes to make things up slanders people because he had his shop called out for shotty products. I live a couple minutes away bro u dont want it.

I was a bit surprised at what this place stocks. If you know the name or have an idea, stop by. Pricing is on par and the items stocked are pretty cool. Also they carry many items made in the USA!

Wastelands is my go to novelty shop. They have a wide selection of water pipes, slides, parts, regular pipes, and vaporizers. They also have numerous other items. Incense, t shirts, other clothing accessories, decorations, rings (I believe they do piercings, and tons of other stuff. The staff is great, always helpful and very knowledgeable. Recommended stop.

Been going to this place for 5 years very nice and educated on their products. Not going to force their most expensive products on you if they arent the best. Also got my eyebrow pierced there and everything was very sterile and pain free :)

Had my nipples pierced here while on holiday in febuary 2020. Both of the ladies couldnt have been nicer! The piercer (sorry didnt get her name) was great! She made me feel so comfortable and was so quick and accurate. Any questions I had she was happy to answer. Took me through all the aftercare and made sure I had the right things to clean it. Everything was sterile and clean. Could not reccomend them any more!

Ive had 4 piercings here and i had an amazing experience every time. And i did have a slight issue with a piercing and i went back about a week later and (i think the person who pierced me was named Jess) fixed it. I love it there and i highly suggest it.

They have a huge selection of incense, a rather large selection of body jewelry, tapestries, clothing, dream catchers, collectables, etc... The staff is also super friendly and knowledgeable. They also do body piercings here and are very clean and through with aftercare instructions and carry a decent variety of after care supplies.

Workers dont have the greatest attitude. My room mate and I went in, new to town, and they could barely be bothered with small talk, let alone any short questions about how the town is. They asked us why we moved here? A counterintuitive question to customers visiting your store. Their crystals and minerals selection is a backhanded compliment at best, because, sometimes jokes are good. Employees here should smoke weed- they would be a lot friendlier if they used the glass pieces they sell.

There is a huge selection of products in this store, I go in mostly for the selection of incense. There are dozens of different kinds. The people in the store are very nice and I enjoy going here.

An excellent gift shop, they have some great glass at good prices, and they have some nice earrings. They also have things like posters, incense, colored sweatshirts, i literally say woah thats cool ever time i go there

Ive been shopping at wasteland for years. The other day I bought a Butane Torch model RJ-210 for $25. First off, I looked up this product online after I made the purchase, and realized I could have ordered it for $8, but I needed it right then, so no big deal. Then I come to find out, the torch wont even stay lit. I call and explain the problem to them expecting them to tell me they would give me my money back, but no? They want me to bring it in so they can try to make it work. Do you think Im stupid? I cant make a small push to start torch work? If they had simply given my money back and apologized for carrying a terrible/broken product, I would have kept shopping there for years, now they will never get my money again.Thanks for the help!And enjoy your 400% mark ups

Went in a few weeks ago, bought a sabertooth glass rig and nail, bought a titanium nail with the rig because it came with a glass nail which is fine. Used the rig with the titanium nail for a while wanted something different, went to put glass nail on it and the glass nail and dome are WAY too big for it. Went in today to buy one that would fit and the guy was a JERK. The girl and him were having a tiff and he took it out on me. Not a good thing to do. If you would have sold the right one with it I wouldnt have to come back to purchase another. Lose your attitude dude. I will no longer be going into this store. Found another that is cheaper and friendlier.

Ive lived in all across the country and always check out local head shops. Ive been to many in Nashville, Colorado and Cali and this shop takes the cake. They are always super friendly and they get it meaning they arent a bunch of stupid stoners. These are down to earth cool ass people who understand a life style and supply all your (tabbacco) smoking needs without feeling weird when you enter their business.... A+++ Your prices are so cheap compared to any shop Ive ever been to and the quality of the glass is 10x better. You will pay 150 for the same water pipe you can get for 50-60 at wasteland I SWEAR IT I PROMISE I KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT haha :)
