Ted and Tony at Verity are the best team in South bay for your new kitchen & bath. Not only did they help create our dream kitchen/bathroom but Ted also gave us input & helped us with redesigning the layout of our master suite. From the initial meeting to the end of completing the project, both Ted and Tony, as well as their team, were a joy to work with.My husband and I very much enjoyed working with Ted during the design conceptualisation stage. We gave our input as to what we needed as well as wanted plus the budget we had. Ted then was able to work in everything we wanted to fit our budget. Ted would give us a few different layouts or options and then each time we met we would work together in defining the final product much more. It was really an organic process which could be stressful at times but Ted managed to help us through it all. He really did his best in taking the time to understand what we have in mind and provided us drawings for it.Tony was the man in charge of the implementation and on site supervision. He ensured everything was built properly and his team has amazing skillful hands. I wanted some specific tiles to be laid out as part of the design and his colleague was able to work with me and laid it out exactly the way I had in my mind.We cannot be happier with the outcome and can’t wait until we have budget to build the outdoor kitchen or remodel other parts of our home.

Verity designed and built a terrific guest bathroom for us. It ended up being exactly what I wanted and the construction process was very smooth. This is the second remodel they have done for us and in both bathrooms the work was high quality. And looked great!

We were very pleased with the total bathroom renovation done by Verity. Not only was the quality excellent, but both Ted and Tony were quite responsive and pleasant to work with. All of the employees were hard-working and reliable. Special thanks go to the office manager Jennifer, who was prompt and efficient handling the administrative end. Verity remodeled my master bathroom, upgraded two other bathrooms, and installed a number of recessed lights. The two owners form the ideal combination of design, planning and detail (Ted) with scheduling, execution and craftsmanship (Tony). Both are considerate and attentive to your needs and desires. All the members of their crew are hardworking and courteous, and they try their best to minimize disruption to your household. Overall, the work was performed timely and the remodeling experience was better than expected.

Verity Build is an outstanding contractor! They remodeled my master bathroom, and I couldn’t be happier. Ted helped me through the design process, making multiple drawing changes as I changed my mind about the style and fixtures. He has a terrific computer program and was able to show me the changes as he made them. Ted even went shopping with me, making suggestions on fixtures, tiles, shower glass, etc. Tony is the project manager and oversaw every step of the way. The Verity employees (plumbers, electricians, tile cutter/installer) are craftsmen, not subcontractors who come-and-go. While my last bathroom remodel took five months to complete due to subcontracting schedules, this project took only six weeks, start to finish, and was more involved! Tony made sure everything was done well the first time around. The tradesmen knew what needed to be done and did it right. And I should mention that Jennifer was the perfect office manager, tracking paperwork and invoices, and providing me warranty/care information packages. Absolutely could not be happier with my new master bath, thanks to Ted, Tony, Jennifer and the Verity professionals!

Verity KB remodeled our Master Bathroom. It is beautifully and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Through the whole process beginning to end Ted, Tony and Jennifer were very communicative and responsive. We had a steam shower, free standing bowl tub, toilet with washlet and double vanity. We have had 2 other major remodels and our experience with Verity was the best and we would highly recommend them to our family and friends.

Verity just completed a complete remodel on our master bathroom and were thrilled with the result. Ted spent time with us to do a 3D computer design and then went to Fergusons and Cal Tile with us to select all the materials. He had many good ideas, was easy to work with and never tried to up sell us on expensive choices, as some contractors do. His business partner, Tony, oversaw the day to day operations and did a great job communicating the schedule and what to expect on which days. The work is done by their employees only, which is reflected in the quality of the work, their cleanliness, and their punctuality. Even a few, unplanned changes to our other bathroom were done quickly, correctly and with a smile. Ive been remodeling our house on and off for 33 years and they are, by far, the best general contractors Ive ever worked with.

Our guest bath was in dire need of a facelift. Verity came highly recommended. We requested an estimate, which they provided after meeting with us to fully discuss the project. Their estimate was the most competitive, so we hired them. They arrived on time every day and their work was excellent. They also kept the work areas protected and cleaned up nicely each day. We are completely happy with the outcome! We would not hesitate to hire them again if we were to remodel another bath or the kitchen.

They were wonderful to work with: professional, extremely competent, and very detail-oriented, ensuring that everything would be perfect.Ted handles the design and he gave me very useful ideas I never would have thought of.Tony is responsible for implementation and execution with their crew, who are all full-time employees versus contracted subs, which makes a big difference. Verity has full control of their schedules allowing them to stay on track with the schedule.My new kitchen is GORGEOUS. I’m not surprised at all because when they remodeled my master bathroom a few years ago, I was every bit as pleased with the results.Verity went above and beyond in taking care of my needs, including resolving issues that weren’t of their doing (My power blew out completely right after the kitchen remodel was completed. Turned out to be a broken connection that was SCE’s fault but Tony had his electrician out immediately upon receiving my call – even though it was a Saturday morning - to check every switch and breaker for me to make that determination).Everybody at Verity was prompt, responsive, courteous and efficient throughout both my kitchen and master bath remodels. Verity Baths recently remodeled our bathroom to make it handicap accessible & we had a very limited space to work with. The existing bathroom was small & we were only able to add another foot or two to allow us to eventually move around in a wheel chair so planning was very important. My husband was unable to help me work with the contractor so it would have been easy for Verity to take advantage of my lack of knowledge. Ted (one of the owners) spent many hours with me in the planning stage & actually shopped with me prior to the build starting.Scheduling and communications was incredible & Jennifer (office manager) was always on top of the details, which included obtaining the city permits, & keeping me informed as we went along.During the build Tony (the other owner) made sure the placement of everything worked & came up with ideas that would enhance the area. He and the fantastic crew answered my many questions and explained the process as we went along which I really appreciated. Their staff prepped the area each day paying close attention to my new wood floors & cleaned up at the end of each day. Someone was there EVERY DAY & if they were going to arrive later than expected I was notified in advance. Tony made sure we were happy with everything as the work progressed & both he & Ted worked alongside their staff when needed.I met with 6 contractors & Verity was not the least expensive but there was just something there that made me feel like I could trust them (I’m from the generation that did things with a hand shake) which can’t be done anymore. Ted, Tony & Jennifer were very professional, and their staff definitely reflected their attitudes. I can tell you personally that Verity is a competent and trust worthy contractor that went out of their way to be sure what they promised actually happened. Our bathroom is BEAUTIFUL & actually works well for my husband. I am really glad I went with my instinct & chose Verity Baths.

This outstanding contractor remodeled 3 of our bathrooms. Not a day goes by that I am not grateful for their good work. I would not hesitate to hire them again! They specialize in gutting a room and completely redoing it. Both the planning and the execution is superb. They are very concerned that customers are happy with their work and are excellent at engaging the owner throughout the project. Moreover, if somethings not quite right, theyll come back and fix it after completion. Not all contractors will do that. If you want to remodel a bathroom, hire Verity. Youll be pleased with the results.

Verity did the remodel on my bathroom. They were great to work with every step of the way. To begin with there was no high pressure sales pitch. No if you sign today I can get you a special discount on this or that type of BS. I met with Ted twice, in addition to exchanging several emails, to discuss what I wanted and how it would be done. Never did I feel pressured to sign on the dotted line. They started on the day we had agreed on and all materials were coordinated to be available when needed. The crew was great and everyone seemed committed to doing the best job they could do. Everything went according to schedule and all the work was excellent. I am not writing this review for them, I am writing it to help you find the right person for your job because it really can be a difficult thing to choose a contractor.

I highly recommend them! They did an amazing job with our bathroom and were extremely pleasant to work with. Ted was so helpful in the design process and Tony worked through any changes we had or hiccups. The were okay with us keeping our dogs home locked in the kitchen during the project despite the constant barking they had to deal with. If we need construction work done in the future we will defiantly be using them.

Warning to new customers: These folks REALLY DONT WANT YOUR BUSINESS. And they make it very clear. First time I called the very nice receptionist said they were booked for the next five months but I could speak with someone if I desired. I said I would like to move forward and she said one of the owners would call back that day. Never heard from him. Called back a few days later and asked if one of the owners would call me back and was told he was out of office but would call back asap. That never happened either. They should really just be up front and say they are not accepting new customers until they can catch up on their work load. First time Ive dealt with a company like this and first Google review.

Great experience with Verity. We just finished a complete master bath remodel and are very pleased with the process and the results! We appreciated the attention to detail and prompt responses to all our requests throughout the project. We received great support in making design decisions, but when we had our own ideas, they were also welcomed. They helped us with pricing and making good choices with regard to tile and fixtures and supported us every step of the way. The contractors performing the work of demolition, tile installation, plumbing, electrical, and the finish work were all high quality craftsmen who treated our home with respect, arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves. We felt very secure allowing contractors access to our home - even when we were not there. At the end of the project, our small list of things that we felt needed attention were handled promptly and without push back. I have worked with other contractors and can tell you that Verity is top notch, provides quality work and really cares about the customer.

Professionalism, communication, and honesty is what describes Verity Baths. From the no-rush vanity material selection with Ted to the great advice on the counter top selection with Jennifer, I receive fantastic service experience. Tony gave me progress updates almost daily and many time onsite. They were honest with the length of the job, and performed extra measures to get a working shower for me early. I give them my highest recommendation and I have already planned some new work.

I cant say enough good things about Ted and his crew. We bought a house in Torrance that was really outdated and planned to do a complete remodel. Ted worked with our schedule and helped us with our kitchen remodel, one of the first major projects we undertook. He and his crew were nothing short of professional. He had great ideas from opening up the small space, to how to configure the appliances to best utilize the space, to design choices for cabinets and countertops, and how to tie it all together for the modern look we were going for! Wed definitely hire Verity Baths again in the future should other projects come up!

We used Verity Build to remodel our master bathroom after they were recommended by a friend.Ted designed the room in 3D and showed us what it would like his suggestions on materials and finishes were perfect.Tony and his installation team completely protected our floors, did beautiful work. They tore everything out and redid it based on Teds design. Verity were professional and showed up when they said they would!!I highly recommend Verity they are by far the best contractors I have used. The results exceeded our expectations.

A couple of years ago we bought a house in Lomita that needed some TLC. The kitchen was a priority and Verity Build was the contractor we finally chose and are very glad we did. Ted did the design and is fantastic to work with. He listened to our wants, needs and desires and then came up with a layout we could afford that was almost perfect. After a lot of thought and several tweaks we had a great plan on paper for a price we thought was fair. After signing the paperwork we met Tony who was the on site supervisor and demolition began. I can’t say enough good things about the various work crews. They showed up each day on time, were always polite and happy, told us what was going to happen that day and always cleaned up after themselves. Part of the remodel was moving one of the kitchen walls 3 feet, which could have caused major dust issues. The dust was well contained and kept to a minimum. Jennifer, a great designer in her own right, runs the office and kept orders, payments, product deliveries and schedules on track. The project was supposed to take 6 weeks but was finished a week ahead of schedule and on budget. This is our 6th house and we know quite a bit about problems with home remodeling and I can say without hesitation that Verity Build is fantastic to work with. They may not be the cheapest but they are truly excellent to work with and you get more than you pay for in the long run. We look forward to using Verity Build next year to remodel our two bathrooms.

Jennifer, Ted & Tony @ Verity were wonderful made the whole remodelling process much easier and with a minimal of problems.We contacted Verity because the contractor who put in a new 2nd bathroom was also suppose to do the remodel of the old one quit and became a city building inspector. It took him almost 5 months for the new bathroom when he initially said both would be done in 5. And dealing with him and his subcontractors really became a nightmare. There were times no one came for a week and the final results were only ok at best. The roofer he subcontracted was a total nighmare and when it rained we had a major problem. The subcontractor that put up a wall started swearing at my wife one day because he wasnt feeling well.Verity had also remodelled our next door neighbors bathroom and they love them. What a difference between our original contractor and Verity, day and night. Ted planned everything out with you and even went to the suppliers with you to help make the best choices. Ted and his crew set a time frame and they kept to it. They had too because they had other jobs already lined up for months. The work crew was great and took care. Tony followed up personally for some details after the work was finished. Would highly recommend Verity to anyone. Support your local business.

He accompanied us while we shopped to choose the appliances needed as well as the tile, backsplash & countertops. His 3D renderings showed us exactly what the new kitchen would look like, being able to move & change cabinets to look and work best. When the project started, Tony was onsite to make sure it happened according to the plan. Tony closely monitored the crew and kept in great communication with us throughout the process. The Verity crew is topnotch and does high quality work while always being professional, courteous and friendly. The worksite was kept organized and cleaned up each day for the next phase. The project was completed on time and Ted, Tony, and office manager Jennifer were readily available to answer questions and follow-up on any detail that needed attention. We look forward to working with the Verity crew again when we are ready to move forward on our bathroom remodels.
