Ive gone three times now and every time the communication was prompt, the advice and reasoning was transparent, and the work was billed exactly as quoted. I have never felt like I was over-charged and I trust them to do great work.

Herbert and his team are fantastic. My husband and I have been taking our cars here for smog checks, maintenance and everything under the sun the last few years. Herbert is personable and honest and his prices are reasonable. We trust his work and expertise. The owner of Master Tech, Herbert Mejia, is a very experienced Japanese car technician who provides excellent customer service and very reasonable prices. He takes the time to explain mechanical problems in detail, and will not perform unnecessary services. I discovered Master Tech through the very favorable online reviews, and I am happy to report that Herbert and Master Tech are the real deal.

Herbert repaired my car after an accident. He did the work quickly, perfectly, and at a fair price. He didn’t charge me for extras I didn’t need or inflate the cost of the parts. He is so knowledgeable, so helpful, and so honest. I would recommend Herbert over any other mechanic any day.

Did a good job working on my car. Timely and efficient

This place is great! My husband and I moved to the area from out of state and had to switch license plates. One of the screws was rusted and stuck, and after many attempts with a screwdriver and wrench, only managed to strip the head. I stopped by on a Wednesday, late morning after reading fabulous reviews on Yelp. Master Tech is attached to a very small parking lot, which is shared by both a Hertz Car Rental and Performance Transmission & Auto Repair (absolutely no parking). I decided to park in the next lot over (in front of T-mobile) and walked to the office. I was met outside by a very friendly Herbert who, after hearing about my problem, grabbed a few tools and followed me all the way to my car. I really appreciated that, since I had my baby and she is getting heavy. He managed to remove both screws, switch the plates, and secure the new one in about 5 minutes. He then refused to charge me anything and told me to have a good day! It was just like having family or a family friend fix my car. I will gladly come back the next time my car has a more serious problem. Thank you, Herbert, for being so cheerful, friendly, and helpful!

Changed my clutch slave cylinder here. Had it inspected first with no charge.Also fixed my exhaust which was hanging off no extracharge.And cleared my check engine code.Herbert is great. Very honest down to earth guy, and mechanic.

Great and fast service. Have been going for 8+ years to have my car smogged. They also do registration, vin verification, etc.

This is a great place to go if you ever need your car worked on. I went in cause I thought I needed to get my tires rotated and brake pads replaced. They inspected the car for 30 minutes and told me the tires had to be replaced and the brakes were just rusty and did not need to be replaced for a whole year. Herbert didnt even charge me for looking at the car. He said it was no issue and just asked for me to come back when the brakes needed to be replaced and recommended a place to get new tires. I am only getting my car worked on here from now on.

So honest experience of what happened to be straightforward don’t go to this place brought my car there had a airbag light on told me would be $95 he would figure out whatever’s wrong with it and let me know exactly what’s wrong with it told me it was the computer fix the computer came back and told me he won’t diagnose what exactly wrong with it even though he told me would be the computer and try to charge me $600 where I went somewhere else and got a fix for $40 oh and also ruin my backseat by spilling some oil on my seat he replaced it but took more of my time to come back and deal with it take it out and then replace it again so no I would not recommend going to this place that’s being honest of what happened Which this guy is not
